The Lights Outside

A/N: It's been a few years, and this bunny has never fully gone away, so let's see where it leads? This is just a teaser for the Christmas Chapter of the sequel to A Light Inside.
Christmas, a time for family, self-reflection with the impending New Year, and remembrance over years past.
The home was a warm and welcoming place from the rainy day. Animals ran from free surface, to knocking into a shelf, back into leaping across more furniture. Scents of Pumpkin Cinnamon and Peppermint Apple flitted through the rooms, aromas wafting from pouches tucked inside a baby fir tree, needles warming near a woodstove in the center of the common area.
A cabin nestled in the fir trees of a forgotten forest, the quietest dimension there was, or should be.
How was anyone supposed to get any writing done when everyone demanded attention? With 3 Umvazegu, 2 Bequesigu, and 2 hatchlings, it was enough to make anyone loose their mind.
Reminder to breath. 2. 3. 4. Sigh.
Time to be Thankful of all there was, as lights were placed around the tree...
