Bonus Chapter: Telling the whole truth.

A couple of days had passed since Galen disposed of the Nightmare worshiper. It was concerned that some people were actually trying to bring Nightmare back after all the pain and death he caused. Just goes to show that even when he is dead, Nightmare's corruption has not gone away, and his followers are still out there. What worried Galen the most was that since he was the one who killed Nightmare, it would make him the prime target for Nightmare's loyalists. Which in turn meant that his family could be targeted as well.

All that was worrying enough, but Galen also had another thought in head... he was yet to tell Cassandra where he really came from. He was going to sound insane, but Cassandra deserved to know. She was his wife, he shouldn't keep hiding something this important from her. With that in mind, Galen waited until Juno was tucked in for the night before making his move.

"Alright, Galen. Time for us to hit the bed as well" Cassandra said.

"Cassandra, wait... there is something I need to tell you" Galen said.

Cassandra looked at him "What is it Galen?".

"I... have not been completely honest with you... I am yet to tell you the whole truth about who I really am" Galen said.

Cassandra looked worried "Galen, what are you saying? What have you been hiding from me?".

Galen sighed "Sit down and I will tell you".

Cassandra did as told, worried of what she might hear. But if Galen had something important to tell her, she had to listen. He was her husband after all, so of course she needed to be there when he needs her.

Galen sat down as well "Remember when I told you I was from a village far away?" Cassandra nods "Well, my village is much further away than I let on".

Cassandra looked confused "What do you mean?".

"I am not from this world, Cassandra" Galen answered.

Cassandra blinked several times "What? You mean you are from another world?".

Galen nods at that "Yes, I am from another world from beyond the stars. Where I am from, the civilizations are so advanced they can travel between different worlds as easily as a horseman can travel between towns".

"Wait wait wait! Back up. Just how many worlds are there?" Cassandra asked, already lost in what Galen was telling her.

"Countless. I don't think I know even half of the planets in the universe. I only know the ones from my galaxy" Galen answered.

"Galaxy?" Cassandra asked.

"A galaxy is... well try to think of it like this: This world is big, with different countries and different life styles. A galaxy is similar only it's a large place that contains several worlds and stars" Galen explained the best he could.

"That sounds unbelievable... but why are you telling me all this?" Cassandra asked.

"It's just the first step of telling you of who I really am. I am from a world called Kashyyyk, a world fully covered in a deep forest. The home world of the Wookies" Galen began to explain.

"Wookie?" Cassandra asked.

"The natives of that world, I will tell you more about them later if you want. Anyway, my parents were Jedi Knights who left the order after they fell in love. Since love was forbidden by the jedi order" Galen continued.

"Why?" Cassandra asked.

"From what I understand, the jedi believed that love could distract them. And love would lead to fear of losing the person you love. Which in turn would lead to hate, which then leads to suffering, and that in turn leads to the dark side" Galen answered "Again, I will tell you more when I can. My parents did not agree with the rule so they left the jedi order and had me. My mother died when I was very young so I was raised by my father... we lived rather peacefully on Kashyyyk.. until the Galactic Empire arrived".

"I take it this Empire were not pleasant people?" Cassandra asked.

"They are rotten to the core. They ruled over the galaxy with an iron fist. Keeping people down, imprisoning and executing anyone who dared to speak against them. No matter who you are and no matter what race you are... though aliens often got the worst of it" Galen answered and noticed Cassandra reacting to the word aliens "Story for another time. Point is, the empire were hunting jedis, since they were among the few who could pose a serious threat to their emperor. And they managed to track my father to our home. That when I met him for the first time".

"Him?" Cassandra asked.

"Darth Vader. A cold and brutal Sith Lord, and the apprentice of the emperor himself" Galen answered "Whenever a jedi was found, Vader was often the first choice to deal with them. He had been killing jedis for a big part of his life and my father was his next target".

Cassandra grew worried, having a feeling where this was going.

"My father tried his best to fight him. But Vader was just to powerful for him... I tried to stop him, but it was not enough and Vader killed my father right in front of me when I was still a kid" Galen said.

Cassandra gasped at that "That's horrible! And you had to go through that as a child... I am so sorry Galen".

"Don't be, what happened had nothing to do with you. I would have died myself that day if Vader hadn't found use of me. Sensing my potential in the force, he took me in and turned me in to his secret apprentice" Galen said.

"He... trained you?" Cassandra asked, surprised that anyone would train a child who's father he had just murdered.

"I was to scared of death to refuse. But during my time with him, I suppressed all memories of my previous life as he. I spent the next two decades training as a Sith under Darth Vader's supervision, with the ultimate goal of standing at Vader's side against his master, who he planed to overthrow. He taught me to turn my fear in to anger and my anger in to hate, allowing me to harness the power of the dark side and ultimately turned me in to his assassin" Galen continued to explain.

"You... served him willingly?" Cassandra asked.

"I had nothing left to live for at the time. My parents were dead and my home was destroyed. Being Vader's slave was the only life left for me... I did a lot of horrible things for him... killing people that didn't deserve it, and I felt nothing while doing it. I just kept convincing myself that when I became strong enough and once me and Vader killed the Emperor... maybe things would get easier... but that was when I met Juno Eclipse... the first person who managed to make me feel something other than hate" Galen said.

"You loved her... now I understand why you named our child after her" Cassandra realized.

Galen nods "She was a greater source of strength than my hatred ever was... and in time I began to question my loyalty to Vader... abut he had to betray me twice before I finally understood that he had been lying to me my whole life".

"He betrayed you twice, and only then did you realize you shouldn't trust him anymore? Wow, you sure are dense, Galen" Cassandra couldn't help but to joke.

Galen chuckled a little at that "Yeah I am. But in my defense I didn't really trust him to much after the first one. But the second one was the last straw. After that I rejected the sith as a whole, and decided to follow the path of a jedi. And in the end I gave my life to save the leaders of a rebellion who would go on to fight the empire and try to free the galaxy from their cruel rule".

"You died!?" Cassandra asked in shock.

"I did... or at least I think I did. But instead of becoming one with the force, I met the spirit of my father who told me this world needed a warrior to save it from an evil, who of course turned out to be Nightmare. So I took my second chance at life, forged my new blade and set out to save the world. Then I met you and... well you know the rest" Galen finished.

Cassandra was silent for several moments "Everything you told me is very hard to believe... and yet, I believe ever word you just said... but why did you wait this long to tell me?".

"I had several reasons. But the two biggest ones was because I didn't think you would believe me at first... and the fact I've been trying to leave my old life behind and live my new one, with you and the rest of our family" Galen answered.

"You still should have told me sooner, I am your wife, you can trust me Galen" Cassandra said.

"I know... I am sorry for hiding this from you, Cassandra. But I promise that from this day onward, I will be nothing but honest with you" Galen declared.

"You better, if I find out you've hidden something this big from me again, you will not enjoy what happens next" Cassandra warned.

"Yes ma'am" Galen said.

"Good, but now..." Cassandra began before dropping her night gown, revealing her naked body "I think you owe me some love".

Galen smiled "Whenever you need it, my love".

Cassandra smiled and kissed him before she laid down on the bed, on her belly and lifted her beautiful butt up a little. Galen kissed her back all the way up to her neck as he slowly got in to position.

That night was pure love for both of them. And now there was no more secrets between them.
