Episode 19: Four-Give and Four-Get
Remaining Competitors: Samus, Cloud, Marth, Captain Falcon
We start with Sakurai giving the recap.
"Last time on Super Smash Island," Sakurai said, "we took a trip down memory lane by going to the resort where the eliminated contestants have been staying. We got to know their opinion on the game and final five...or I should start saying four, because they unknowingly got Link eliminated by having his name said the most throughout that episode. Now, we are down to the last four smashers. Who will win today's challenge? What will it be? Who will leave? And will I have any more surprises for them? Find out on today's exciting episode of Super...Smash...Island!
Cue intro
We start in the morning, with the final four sleeping in their cabins, until they hear Sakurai's voice over the loudspeaker. And today, the volume was turned up EXTRA loud.
"Good morning to our final four competitors!" Sakurai said, "If you all come to the mess hall, we have an extra special breakfast as a reward for getting this far!"
This wakes them up and they all do as he said and head to the mess hall.
"What does he mean by extra special?" Marth said, "What, is it actually not going to run off my plate this time?"
"It's too early for me to listen to your snarky comments." Samus said.
"It's just too early for anything." Cloud said.
"Yeah, I mean, isn't the rest of the world asleep right now?" Falcon said.
They all go through the door and see what appears to be a big thanksgiving style feast in front of them. We're talking turkey, mashed potatoes, and all the other tasty delicacies you'd expect.
"Good morning, everyone. Who's hungry?" Sakurai said.
"Is this...real?" Cloud asked.
"You betcha. Consider it my gift to you four for making it this far."
"Okay, but what's the catch?" Marth asked.
"No catch. No strings attached, no nothing. Just enjoy."
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Cloud.
"Man, I almost fainted at the sight of that feast." He said, "It was nice to actually eat something so good. What a way to treat us for getting this far. Speaking of which, it's not too much longer until the end. I just hope I can make it to the finale. Ever since the target challenge, I've been thinking about the whole "working on my own" thing. I want to win, but I don't want to stress myself to death about it."
The confessional then transitions to Samus.
CWow. I'm the only girl left, but that doesn't mean I'm no pushover." She said, "I'm tough as nails and still going strong. I'll do my best to win, but I must stop Marth first. Hopefully, today will be the day he's gone. I'm sure today's challenge will be a tough one, and I won't let him get away with his tricks."
The confessional then transitions to Marth.
"No surprise I made it this far." He said, "Looking back now, it's funny how many of those dopes trusted me, or got in my way. But these three have been tough nuts to crack. Just three more losers and that money's mine!"
The confessional then transitions to Captain Falcon.
"Woo! Man, now that's a way to do breakfast!" He said, "It's all so surprising to be at this point in the game! To those of you all who couldn't get here, I'm sorry you couldn't be here, but you all are great guys! I feel so much excitement and anticipation for what could be coming! Bring it on, Mr. Sakurai! I'm ready to go all the way!"
End of Confessional
Eventually, the table is cleared and everyone is stuffed.
"So, what did everyone think?" Sakurai said, "They don't call me a great host for nothing, huh?"
"Man, I could die right now with now regrets." Falcon said, "That was the best meal I've ever had."
"Well, you can die on your own time," Sakurai said, "because it's time for today's challenge! I'd like to see you all at the amphitheater in ten minutes. Today's challenge will be an extra good one."
"I'm so full, I don't know if I'll be able to get up." Cloud said.
The four of them do get up and head to the amphitheater, and see four seats, and a roulette wheel with pictures of the past contestants.
"Well, color me interested." Falcon said.
CWelcome to one of the toughest challenges you have ever had to face!" Sakurai told them, "Would you all kindly take a seat?"
They all sit at the four seats.
"Now, before I tell you all about the challenge, I have a special guest star to introduce to you all!" He said.
"Who'd be dumb enough to guest star on this show?" Samus asked.
"Please be Ryan Reynolds!" Falcon said hopefully, "I so want to get his autograph!"
"Now, some of you may know who he is," Sakurai told them, "and he's a really close friend of mine, please give it up for...CHRIS MCLEAN! The host of the hit reality series, Total Drama!"
And right on cue, Chris walks in on stage, along with his partner, Chef Hatchet.
"What's up, smashers?" Chris asked.
"Oh my god," Falcon said, "it's Chris McLean! In the flesh! I love your show, I'm a huge fan! Can I have your autograph?!"
"Sorry. No time. But thanks for support."
"Ah, Chris. It's so good to see you again." Sakurai said.
"Right back at you, Sakurai." Chris said, "I've been watching this show, and I have loved every minute of it."
The two of them fist bumb.
"Hey, why didn't you introduce me?" Chef asked.
"Because you were simply my plus one."
Chef just grumbles at this.
"Well, Chef will be helping with the challenge." Sakurai said.
"Hold up!" Marth said, "Is this the same Chris that you were talking about a while back?"
"Yep. We go way back.
CI've taught him all my tricks and tips, and it seems he's putting them to good use." Chris said, "I've also learned a lot from this guy. I love his games. I'm the reason he has this show. I figured I'd come here and watch the fun for myself."
"Why am I not surprised?" Marth said, "I've seen his show, and I think it's crazy and stupid! Not to mention dangerous! Why would you ever make a show like that?!"
"Personally, I think you would fit right in on my show." Chris said.
"Like hell I would." Marth said.
"Okay, we're getting off topic." Sakurai said, "Time for me to explain the challenge: THE TRIPLE DOG DARE!"
"Nice one, huh? I gave him this idea." Chris said.
"If you take a look at this roulette wheel, you'll see pictures of all the competitors that have lost the game. Not too long ago, I met up with them and asked them for challenge ideas." Sakurai explained.
"Challenge ideas?" Cloud said.
"Yep...or in this case...dares. Each of you will take turns spinning the wheel and whoever it lands on, I will read that person's dare. You can take the dare, or dare someone else to do it. But...if you do take the dare yourself, you will receive a freebie that you can use to get out of doing a dare."
"And what if we refuse to take the dare?" Samus asked.
"Oh, that's not a good idea." Sakurai said, "If you refuse, you will immediately be eliminated!"
"ELIMINATED?!" All four of them said.
"That's right. We're going to keep this challenge going until one of you can't go no more, and that person will be going home."
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Samus.
"Wow. A sudden death elimination challenge?" She said, "That's insane. But clever. He's really stepped up his game for this one."
The confessional then transitions to Marth.
"I'll admit, this could be the toughest challenge yet." He said, "I'm sure one of those three will be left with a dare that even they won't perform. One of them will crack. Just you wait."
The confessional then transitions to surprisingly Sakurai.
"See...here's the thing." Sakurai said, "Chris and I have a little side bet going on which of us will throw up first in this challenge. Loser owes the winner a hundred bucks."
End of Confessional
"Cloud, you will go first." Sakurai said.
Cloud goes up to the wheel and gives it a spin. It keeps spinning for a moment until it lands on Ness.
"Ness's dare is...to drink powdered kool-aid from the toilet."
Everyone gags at this, especially Cloud.
"What a predicament, Cloud." Sakurai said, "Will you take the dare and get the freebie, or dare one of them to do it? Maybe dare someone who's a scumbag...like Marth?"
"Hey!" Marth yelled.
"You know what?" Cloud said, "I'll do it!"
The other three gasp at this.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Cloud.
"I'm willing to put everything on the line to win this." He said, "Those freebies could could be lifesavers. Even if I have to do...that."
End of Confessional
"Well, this guy has got some guts." Chris said, "But probably not for long."
"I agree." Sakurai said, "Here, you're going to need this."
He hands Cloud a drinking straw, and they head to the bathroom. They see Chef pour the kool-aid mix in the toilet and stir it up. Cloud then plugs his nose and starts drinking. Chris and Sakurai are watching in disgust.
"Now this is one, hardcore dude." Chris said.
Cloud finishes and looks green in the face. He then heads back to the others. Marth sees Cloud and starts laughing at him.
"Wow! I can't believe you did that!" Marth said, "I'm sure that your precious princess won't want to kiss you after that!"
"You...shut it!" Cloud said weakly.
"And Cloud gets the first freebie!" Sakurai said.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Captain Falcon.
"I'm sure that wasn't easy for him." He said, "I have the feeling he's going to take every dare he's given. I think me and Samus should try to gang up on Marth. But we may actually need Cloud's help."
End of Confessional
"Marth, you're up!" Sakurai said.
Marth spins the wheel and it lands on Donkey Kong.
"Donkey Kong's dare is...to kiss a tarantula."
"Well, I dare Samus to do it." Marth said.
Samus gasps at this.
"Isn't she the one that doesn't like spiders?" Chris asked.
"Yep." Sakurai said, "This is gonna be a fun one."
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Samus.
"I shouldn't be surprised." She said, "You all know I don't like spiders, but I'm not going out this way. He's not gonna win that easily."
End of Confessional
Master Hand brings out a tarantula.
"If you don't want to leave, I suggest you pucker up, and kiss it." Sakurai said.
Samus hesitantly walks up to the tarantula, closes her eyes, and kisses it for five seconds.
"Nice job, Samus." Sakurai said.
Samus heads back to her seat, still trembling.
"Oof. First Cloud, and now you." Marth said, "I don't think that stupid boxer wants the taste of tarantula next time you two make out."
"Alright, Cap. You're next." Sakurai said.
Cap goes to the wheel and spins it, until it lands on Zelda.
"Zelda's dare is to punch a bear in the face!"
"Hmm...I dare Marth to do it!" Falcon said.
"Very well." Marth said, "Bring out the mongrel."
They then bring out a cage with a bear in it, and unlock the cage. Marth then walks up to it, and punches the bear as hard as he can, and the bear doesn't even flinch.
"Okay, we're done here!" Marth said sounding worried.
The bear roars and swipes at Marth's face, leaving him with big scratch marks over his face. Chef then puts the bear back in the cage and hauls it away.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Marth looking mad.
"How dare he make me do that?!" He yelled, "Now look at my face!"
The confessional then transitions to Captain Falcon.
"Okay. Not bad. This is a start." He said, "I'm sure he didn't enjoy that, but we gotta make sure he'll call it quits."
End of Confessional
"Nice scratches." Samus said, "They actually make you look appealing."
"Is there nothing these guys won't do?" Chris said.
"Who knows?" Sakurai asked, "Samus, it's now you're turn."
Samus spins the wheel until it lands on Ryu.
"Ryu's dare is to lick a toad!"
"Eenie, meanie, miney...Marth!" Samus said.
"Two in a row?" Sakurai said, "That's gotta suck, Marth."
A toad is brought out, and Marth takes a look at it. It's big, slimy, and bumpy. Marth starts hesitating and then licks the toad all the way across its back.
"Man, I almost puked at that one." Chris said, "Almost."
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Marth busy brushing his teeth in there.
"Oh god, I don't think this is gonna be enough!" He cried, "I see what they're doing, but two can play at this game. I'm sure one of them will give up."
End of Confessional
"And now, we're back to Cloud." Sakurai said.
Cloud spins the wheel, and it lands on Kirby.
"I don't know if you're gonna like this one." Sakurai said, "Kirby's dare is to eat dog food. Ironic, considering he admitted he did that. So what will you-"
"I'll do it." Cloud said.
"Alright, I like this guy's determination." Chris said.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Marth.
"I'm shocked that he's actually going to do this." He said, "Now I get to see him eat dog food like the mangy beast he is."
End of Confessional
A plate of wet dog food is brought out for Cloud.
"You can still dare someone else to do it, if you want." Sakurai told him.
"I'm sticking to my guns. No turning back now." Cloud said.
"Hey, it's your funeral."
Cloud then quickly chows down on the food, until the plate is clean.
"Okay...urp...done." Cloud said sickly. "Why did it have to be extra meaty?"
Sakurai then hurls from that and gives Chris a hundred bucks. Chris then throws up as well, with Marth, Samus, Captain Falcon, and even Chef hurling from this.
"Okay…" Sakurai said weakly, "can we go to commercial quickly and get this place cleaned up? Tune in after the break."
Commercial Break
We now start back the stage cleaned up, and almost everyone feeling better.
"How are you the only one that didn't throw up?" Falcon asked Cloud.
"Even I...don't know." Cloud said.
"Marth, it's your turn." Sakurai said.
Marth spins the wheel and it lands on Robin.
"Robin's dare is to reveal your darkest secret. Lie detector required."
"Well, I guess I'll dare Captain Falcon to do it." Marth said.
Cap is then hooked up to a lie detector.
"Okay, Cap." Sakurai said, "You have to tell us you're darkest secret, and this lie detector will determine if that's the truth."
"Okay...uh…" He said nervously, "my darkest secret is...that...I once threw up in the middle of an interview I had after a race!"
Chris then looks at the results.
"The dude's telling the truth." He said.
"How unprofessional for a big name racer."
"Man, they were making me nervous. It even got all over the camera, too." Falcon said.
"Okay, we don't need the details." Sakurai said.
We then move through a montage of Cloud taking dares he's given, and Samus, Cap, and Marth daring each other to do dares.
"Man, Cloud has earned himself over twenty freebies, while the rest of you don't have any." Sakurai said.
"I'm loving how persistent they are." Chris said, "You got yourself a crazy cast of competitors."
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Samus.
"I figure we should get Cloud on our side." She said, "He's our last hope. The three of us against him, he wouldn't stand a chance. We gotta convince him. I don't know how, but it's now or never."
End of Confessional
"Hey, Cloud." Samus whispered.
"What?" He asked.
"Look," she said, "I know you're not keen to the idea, but we need your help, at least for this challenge. Me and Captain Falcon could really use your help to get rid of Marth. This is that chance."
"Well, for a while, I've been thinking about wanting to do that, but I'm still not sure...it's just so frustrating." Cloud said.
"Think about it." She said, "Would Peach want you to be stressing so much about this? Would she tell you that it's okay to have help?"
Cloud then thinks about this for a moment.
"Okay. Count me in." He said.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Cloud.
"I'm upset that it took me this long to start trusting again." He said, "So yeah, all three of us will work to get rid of Marth once and for all. I don't have anything to lose at this point, so what the heck? Let's do this."
End of Confessional
"So are you all ready to-" Sakurai started to say.
"Hold on for for a moment!" Cloud said, "I have just one request."
"And what is that?"
"I would like to give some of my freebies to Samus and Captain Falcon."
"Wow. Nice thinking." Falcon said.
Cloud then divides up the freebies amongst the three of them.
"Uh, hello?" Marth said agitated, "Is that even allowed? They're obviously planning to gang up on me! Tell them they can't do that!"
"I never said you couldn't give them to someone else." Sakurai said, "Maybe if you were more liked, they'd share with you."
Now the three of them have several freebies among themselves.
We then move through another montage, with the three of them making Marth do the dares, and using the freebies when he tries to dare them. Marth had to do Mario's dare of getting showered in manure. He did Mac's dare of punching himself in the face for twenty seconds, Isabelle's dare of eating Yum Yum Happy Go-Time Candy Fishtails, Pit's dare to wear a dress, Fox's dare to make him watch Dragon Ball Evolution, Lucina's dare to eat a Carolina reaper pepper, and even Sonic's dare to wear a diaper.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Captain Falcon.
"Even if we don't win this," he said, "I will be happy knowing all the things we dared Marth to do. Honestly, I think he's hitting the breaking point."
End of Confessional
"I'm must say, even after them ganging up on you, you're still not giving up." Sakurai said.
"Even if he survives the challenge, I think he won't have any dignity after today." Chris said.
Marth: You shut it, Mr. Fancypants host! Whatever this next dare is, I'm going to do it! I don't care what it is!
Marth spins the wheel, and it lands on Waluigi.
"Hmph." Marth said, "Let's see what the reject has in store. Do your worst, loser!"
"Ooh, this is a good one." Sakurai said, "Have a haircut given to you by Master Hand!"
"Okay, that doesn't sound too bad." Marth said.
Master Hand then pulls out a chainsaw, and Marth's face goes pale from this.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Captain Falcon.
"Way to go, Waluigi!" Falcon said.
End of Confessional
"Kid, I wouldn't recommend moving around too much while I do this." Master Hand said, "I really don't wanna go back to prison."
He goes up to Marth with the chainsaw revved up. Marth is standing there looking scared, while Samus, Cap, and Cloud are happily watching in anticipation. When Master Hand gets up close to Marth, Marth kicks the chainsaw up in the air. Marth sees the chainsaw coming down on him and tries to step out of the way. He barely does, and feels his bead. His eyes go wide when he feels something is off. He pulls out a mirror and sees he has a big section of hair shaved off the back of his head.
"LOOK AT ME!" Marth yelled, "LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HAIR!"
"Well, I think it suits you," Sakurai said, "but you're still out."
"WHAT?!" Marth screamed, "BUT HE CUT MY HAIR! I PRACTICALLY HAVE A BALD PATCH ON THE BACK OF MY HEAD!"
"True," Sakurai said, "but you didn't exactly ACCEPT the dare. So sorry not sorry, but you're out, and they stay."
Cloud, Samus and Cap cheer and high five each other while Marth drops to his knees.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Marth yelled.
Confessional
The confessional opens up with Samus.
"Finally!" She said, "Your reign of terror is over. Good riddance! Not only is he gone, but we got to humiliate him badly in the process. Good times all around."
The confessional then transitions to Captain Falcon.
"We did it!" He said, "Alright! This one goes out to those of you who got eliminated because of him. Booyah!"
The confessional then transitions to Cloud.
"Sigh. It's over…"
End of Confessional
"Hey, Chef, I got one last job for you." Sakurai said, "Would you kindly escort Marth to the boat?"
"Heh heh heh. With pleasure." He said.
He picks Marth up and carries him to the boat.
"Unhand me, you psycho!" Marth yelled.
He then looks at the final three.
"This is not the last you've seen of me!" He told them, "I will get my revenge on you all! You will all pay dearly for this!"
"Keep telling yourself that." Samus said.
Marth is then thrown on the boat, and he says one last thing as it sails off.
"YOU WILL ALL PAY!"
"Let me congratulate you for making it to the final three." Sakurai said.
"It was nice getting to see all this chaos," Chris said, "but Chef and I have an awards show we have to get to."
"Hope to see you again, my friend." Sakurai said.
A helicopter comes in, and Chris again Chef get on, and fly away.
"So how do you three feel?" Sakurai asked.
"Honestly, relieved." Samus said, "That was so satisfying."
"I'm feeling even more super than usual!" Falcon said.
"I'm doing my best to contain my excitement, but it's there." Cloud said.
"And there we have it." Sakurai said, "The King of Cruelty is now knocked off his throne, and we have our final three. What will happen next? Which two will make it to the finale? Find out on the next exciting episode of Super...Smash...Island!"

I bet you all are happy that Marth is finally gone. How's that for the last chapter of 2019? I honestly feel I ended it with a bang. And what did you think about me adding Chris and Chef in this? Do you want to see more of them in the future? Let me know. Who do you all think will make it to the finale? I'd like to know that, too. 2020 is gonna be big for this series. This season will be wrapped up soon, and season two will start (Plus some other surprises) Let me know what you thought of this episode.
