A/N. Wow, I wrote nineteen chapters. This was supposed to be the twentieth but I accidentally deleted the previous one. It's not a huge number and the larger story I wrote was on my other profile was thirty seven chapters. So I hope you like it, review to tell me your opinion, and have a good time reading 'Rich Life'!

"Moving? You're thinking of moving? John are you insane?" James Dawson yelled loudly at the office of the company.

"I'm planning to ask Rose tonight. If she agrees, you can have the house, and we will move in another part of Boston" Jack said his face cold as ice. He wasn't planning to change his plans because of his father.

"Generations and generations of Dawsons' live in this mansion and you! You're really going to change this?" James boomed.

"Why the hell not father?" Jack asked, taking a step further. "What if life without a little risk? The five years I lived in the streets, I lived as I hadn't before. I'm gonna continue this and as a married man and I don't really care if you want to spend your life after clients and mertings"

"If the girl you choose has some sense" James said crossing his arms. "She won't agree to this. She is a DeWitt Bukater after all. Ruth raised her well"

"Lying to her that her father and her siblings are dead?" Jack asked raising a eyebrow.

"Well, that's none of our business"

"That's why everyone gossips about it"

James glared at Jack. "Do whatever you want. I can't believe that you don't care about destroying our family's name"

Jack laughed. "In your mind and everyone's peoples mind I destroy it. But in fact, I'm more modern than they are.

"Thanks for coming with me Mark" Jack said to his younger brother Michael, using his nickname. "If Rose agrees, I want to have something to propose"

"You chose the right person brother" Mark laughed. "I know everything about houses"

"Well you're studying architecture" Jack grinned. "I remember father being outraged because he thought it is a waste of time"

"Father is always like this" Mark shook his head. "But let's forget him for a little and see this neighborhood. As I see it has houses of good quality"

Jack watched around seeing the houses that were in a size some smaller than a mansion and what else the neighborhood had. It had a supermarket with a lot of women shopping, a park for children and a bakery.

"Look Jack, there it is. This is good for you and Rose especially if you have children in a few years"

Jack glanced at the house with number '295'. The rent sign was standing in front of the two men and Jack kneeled down to read it.

"Oh my, look at this. It seems that the inside will be preety good. And the cost is preety much good." Jack said.

"You can afford it, I think" Mark shrugged.

"That's the good with being rich" Jack laughed. "Let's go and see the inside"

"I can say I'm quite impressed Rose" Evelyn said as she read Rose's articles. "These will be at tomorrow's newspaper."

Rose had gone in a newspaper office, wanting to write articles for the newspaper. The director gave her four themes, the educational system of the country, women's rights to vote, why people disapprove of women cutting their hair and... Titanic first class. What happened there and how it affected the immigrants.

"Really?" Rose beamed. "I never expected I would publish anything"

"Maybe you should try writing a book. For example, about your life, or women's rights, even for Titanic" Evelyn said waving her hands at the air.

"I don't know if I can write about Titanic, it still haunts me too much" Rose shrugged. "My husband says that I can write a book but I don't think so"

"Well believe in yourself and you may achieves it" Evelyn said.

"Believe in yourself" Rose whispered.

The relator unlocked the door of the house welcoming Jack and Michael inside. "For how many people you want the house?"

"Two for now" Jack replied. "Me and my wife. But we might have children soon"

"Well let me show you around. The first floor has one dinning room, a kitchen and a living room. Let me show you"

The living room was a big space. Jack walked around imagining couches, armchairs and a table. To his mind it looked really good.

They were two french doors facing the backyard. Jack walked there and glanced outside, watching the garden and thinking of a better life there... Instead close away in a dreadful mansion... without maids fussing over them telling Rose that this is not appropriate for a young lady...he could still continue with his business...to get money because they would run out if he doesn't work...

They had money after all. Why the hell not?

Climbing a flight of stairs he found himself in a long corridor with a window at the end and another flight of stairs. The corridor had four doors, and a mirror.

"The mirror was left there by another family and we didn't find a reason to throw it away. You can use it if you want" the relator said. "And upstairs they are other two rooms, and the one is the biggest that could be probably used as a master bedroom"

Jack climbed the stairs and opened the first door. It was a beautiful room that had two levels connected to it. It also had a window crook upon climbing a ladder and Jack thought that it was a beautiful room. But what they would do so many rooms?

"If you think what you can do the rooms" Mark said knowing what his brother was thinking. "Maybe in twenty years you'll have six children. You don't know that"

Jack nodded, knowing that he was right. "Let's see the last bedroom too"

It had two double doors and with opening it, Jack found himself in a large room connected with a bathroom, a study and a balcony. Jack nodded. That was it. That was the perfect house.

Jacl to the man who was patiently waiting. "I'll take it"

"What?" Rose gasped in suprise. "You're not joking right? We're really moving out of here?"

"Yes! It is quite in a size of a mansion but not like this one, dark and quite. It's far more better and a good place to raise a family" Jack said, happy that Rose was as excited as him.

"When we'll be able to leave?" Rose asked.

"Tomorrow I'll go to the house and sign up some papers and give the first deposit. Nothing we can't handle but I'll be still working in the company"

"Really?" Rose asked disappointed.

"Money won't stay forever" Jack shook his head. "We have billions Rose, I don't want you to worry. We'll have been gone from this place around in a week, so from tomorrow start packing and go for shopping"

"I'm so happy" Rose said through tears. "A house that no one made us live here or people fussing over us and not wanting to fire them because they'll lose their jobs." Rose's face darkenes. "Don't throw them away, especially if your parents move back. So they won't lose their jobs"

Jack smiled and kissed Rose's forehead. "I'll not" he whispered. "Don't worry"
