Callie's POV
Arizona's visit to the Hospital:
Olivia and I get up the next morning and get coffee and breakfast going for everyone. I make a start on the pancakes and bacon while Olivia gets the coffee going. To say that I am excited would be an understatement. I really hope we can show the girls around and have them fall in love with the place and decide to make the move. I am taking Arizona to the hospital today and hopefully she will love it as much as I am beginning to. I admit at first I was scared of the move to New York and what it would mean for Sofia, Arizona and I but the longer I am here the more in love I fall with the place. Arizona and I have worked really hard together to get to the point we are currently at with each other and Sofia. We both just want her to be happy. I just hope they move and then we can all be together and hopefully will make everyone happy. I have already talked to the Chief at the hospital and he is excited to meet Arizona. He wants to meet with her as soon as I finish showing her around the place and get her input.
"Mmmm something smells amazing in here" Arizona says as she makes her way into the kitchen, with Jess on her tail.
"Not sure if it's the coffee or bacon you can smell but please, have a seat and it will all be ready shortly" I tell her.
Olivia pours coffee for everyone while I do the finishing touches on the food. Once everything is done I make my way to the table with Olivia helping me take it all to the table.
"Okay so what's the plan for today?" Jess asks.
"Well, Steph will be here in about an hour to take the kids to the park, than I figured we can get ready and head out and go our separate ways."
"Sounds like a plan. You guys cooked so please let Arizona and I clean-up"
"Not going to argue there" Olivia tells her.
I go about getting Sofia ready for her day out with Noah and Steph while Olivia gets Noah ready to go. Once I get Sofia ready there's a knock at the door, guess that was perfect timing. I open the door and let Steph in and introduce her to Sofia, Arizona and Jess and wait for Olivia to finish with Noah. Once the kids are gone Olivia looks over at the other two.
"Okay, so if you two want to go get showered and dressed Callie and I will do the same"
"Sounds good" Arizona says and they make their way down the hall.
Olivia and I move into the bedroom and pick out our clothes for the day. Olivia tells me to go shower first, but I have other plans.
"Why don't we just 'save water' and go in together?" I ask.
"Yeah like that's going to 'save water'" is her response.
"It will, it's not like we can do anything, we have company. Come on" I grab her hand and lead her into the bathroom.
I love the feel of her against me and washing my hair and body. I rinse off and then turn her around and return the favor. We finish up and dry off quickly before making our way into the bedroom to get dressed for the day.
"Okay, so once everyone is ready, why don't Jess and I take the SVU and you and Arizona can take the car"
"That works for me baby"
Once we get dressed we head out into the living room and wait for the other two to finish. We are snuggled up on the couch waiting as Arizona and Jess come out from the hall ready to go for the day.
"Hey, so the plan is Olivia and Jess will take the SVU and Arizona and I can take the car. We can meet back her later"
"Sounds good" Jess says.
We get up and Olivia leans in and kisses me, wrapping me in her arms.
"We'll see you later, text me when you guys are done at the hospital and we will see where we are at and go from there"
"Sounds good baby, have a good time, just not too much. Try to win her over today so she can tell Arizona all about it and hopefully they will move"
"You too babe, I'll see you later"
"Bye baby, bye Jess"
"Bye" and out the door they go.
"You ready to hit the road?" I turn and ask Arizona.
"Let's do this"
We get to the hospital and start the tour. The chief knows Arizona is here today so we get her a visitors badge and off we go. I start the tour easy with the cafeteria, vending machines etc. Show her around the different floors a little and end up on my floor.
"So this is where all the magic happens huh?" she asks.
"HA. I wouldn't say magic but yes this is where I work"
"Oh come on Calliope we all know you're a genius with a scalpel and all this plaster and then add the 'tools' to the mix and it's going to be magic"
"If you say so" I laugh.
I show her my office and around the floor a little bit and stop in to see a few people along the way. I introduce her to some of my co-workers and they can't believe they are all talking to THE Arizona Robbins. Seems she's 'famous' around here.
"Okay, now who's a 'show off'?" I ask her and smile.
"They are all exaggerating a little bit don't you think?"
"I don't think so, no; you are an amazing woman and surgeon Arizona, don't sell yourself so short."
We continue the tour a little bit longer and then end up in the Paeds ward. I don't know many of them in this department, but they all know who SHE IS. As soon as we get to the floor, we can hear the whispers starting. She introduces herself to a few of them and they all state she doesn't need to; they all know who she is on this floor. Seems she's well known in these parts. I can't believe I would expect anything less. Arizona has done some unimaginable things in her career; and she was on the news A LOT years ago when the plane crashed too so. Our whole hospital was all over the news back then so not a lot of us they don't know.
We finally get a chance to get out of that department and make our way back towards the cafeteria. We are walking down the hall just chatting; I'm asking her what she thinks thus far when we hear it. A voice I was NOT looking forward to 'running' into today of all days.
"You have got to be fucking kidding me!"
"What do you want Penny?" Arizona and I turn around and see her walking towards us. I don't need this today.
"Wow, I guess what they say about you is true"
"Oh and what is that?"
"You do always go back to your exes when you get dumped"
"Seriously Penny? You think Arizona and I are back together?"
"Well it's pretty obvious isn't it? You're single and low and be hold Arizona is around. We were broke up for like '5 minutes' and you run back to her"
"Penny, don't start, you don't know what you're talking about"
"Don't I?"
"No you don't"
"Callie what the hell happened to us. I thought we were good together, I thought Arizona had moved on; what's her girlfriend going to think of the two of you together again?"
"Penny; for starters NOT that it's any of your business but Calliope and I are not back together and my girlfriend you seem so worried about knows I am here with her. So why don't you go back to the rock you crawled under and leave us be" Arizona is getting angrier and angrier by the minute.
"Callie, can we talk for a few minutes, PRIVATELY" Penny glares at Arizona, and walks over and puts her hand on my arm.
"Penny, there's nothing left to say, you left me and I have moved on, you should too" I say as I shake her hand off me.
"Come on Callie, we were so good together, surely it's better then what she's offering you now" she walks a little closer to me and is running her hand up and down my back.
"For the last time Penny, Arizona and I are NOT together and what we had is nothing compared to what I have right now"
"Well if you aren't together then what is SHE doing here?"
"Again, not that's it's any of your business but I am showing her around; she is thinking of moving here and coming to work here."
"You can't be serious" Penny asks with a gasp.
"She is and get your hands off her" Arizona tells her.
"Arizona, mind your business this is between Callie and I"
"Actually I'm pretty sure she said there was nothing left to say about that topic"
Penny ignores her and grabs me by the back of my neck and kisses me for all she's worth. I am struggling to get her off me when she is suddenly gone. I look over and Arizona seems to have pulled her off me.
"Let me go you bitch!" Penny yells at Arizona.
"I told you to get your hands off her and she also stated she was done with you." Arizona states as she lets go of Penny.
"Fuck you Arizona, you don't own her anymore" Penny yells; now we're starting to attract some un- wanted attention in the hall.
"You're right I don't own her and I actually never have; the fact that you think she is a possession that someone owns makes you un-worthy of her anyway."
"What we had and can still have is ten times better then what you had with her any day. You cheated on her the first chance you got; you broke her and I was there to pick up the pieces."
I can see the hurt and anger flash in Arizona's eyes and I know that was the final straw. I watch in what seems like slow motion as Arizona turns and punches her in the face. I didn't think Arizona could ever do something like that but I guess when she's backed into a corner she can. I watch and Penny falls to the floor, holding her nose. Arizona turns and run out the doors. I look at Arizona fleeing and then down at Penny on the floor.
"Are you really going to let her get away with treating me like that Callie?" Penny asks.
"Penny, I've told you we are done, and as for that, you got what you deserved. What the hell were you thinking?"
"I love you Callie and I will do everything in my power to prove that to you and get you back"
"It's not going to work Penny. Good bye"
"I'm going to press charges Callie" she yells.
At this point everyone has gathered in the hall to watch this all un-fold. When the chief walks up and looks down at Penny and says "yeah I don't think you will I heard and saw it all and I would've done the same thing".
I leave everyone in the hall and run after Arizona. I run out the door and find her sitting on a bench just outside and she is shaking.
"Arizona" I approach slowing so I don't scare her.
"Calliope I am so sorry for that, I don't know what came over me"
"I do; she backed you into a corner and you came out fighting. How's the hand?"
"It's fine. God that felt so good; I should've done that years ago!"
"Well that was a good reason why the chief won't hire me now" she states.
"Oh I think you are wrong there. He just walked up and looked down at Penny when she yelled she was going to press charges and told her he wouldn't if he were her, he saw and heard it all and told her he would've done the same thing"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes. I don't think you have to worry about that"
"Calliope I am so sorry, this is your work place though"
"Arizona, trust me, it's fine and if you didn't hit her I was going to. You have to know I don't think the way she does though right?"
"Calliope, you and I have been over everything in our past and talked it all out, I know where you stand in regards to all of it. No worries there"
"I am so glad"
"Me too"
We sit there for a few minutes until Arizona calms down a little and just enjoy the company of each other.
"Dr Torres, Dr Robbins" the chief walks up and says.
"Chief" I respond.
"Sir, I am so sorry for causing a scene, she just gets under my skin sometimes. She used to work with us back in Seattle so I know her"
"Dr. Robbins …"
"Please call me Arizona"
"Okay, Arizona it's fine really. I heard and saw the whole thing, you have nothing to apologize for."
"Still it's not who I am, I don't just go around punching people"
"I don't suspect you do. Like I said, it's fine. I would like to talk to you about the hospital though. I would like your input on what you think of the place and see if there's any chance I can get you to come work with us"
"I would like that; there's a very good chance I could be open to moving" Arizona tells him and I can't help the huge smile to my face.
"Alright then we can meet in my office later today or tomorrow and go over the offer I have in store for you"
"That sounds really good, but is it okay if it's tomorrow I really need some time to talk to my partner and see what she thinks of New York first"
"Of course, I would expect nothing less. Dr Torres knows how to reach me and we can set up a time to meet"
"Okay sir, thank you and again I'm sorry about earlier"
"Please, call me Jason; sir sounds so formal and it's fine, really"
"Thank you Jason, I will speak to you tomorrow"
"Until then" he turns and leaves us on the bench.
I look over to Arizona and can't help the smile still on my face. I can't believe she may actually be coming to work here with me. It will be so awesome to get to work with her again.
"Don't look so smug Calliope, it doesn't suit you. I still have to talk to Jess and see how her day went at the station and then work out the rest of the details"
"Sorry I can't help it. I am just so excited at the thought of maybe be working with you again"
"I am to; let's just hope their day went better than ours. The day wasn't all bad though. It is a great hospital"
"It really is. Everyone seems to like you; that's for sure"
"They don't know me just what's been in the news and that was years ago"
"Arizona you have made a great career also and I don't think anyone in there is thinking about that accident a million years ago, they are all well aware of what you have achieved in your career"
"Let's hope you're right Calliope"
"Of course I am. Are you ready to head back towards the house?"
As we are getting ready to head home my phones goes off. I pull it out and check, it's a message from Olivia.
Hey Babe, just checking in seeing how you and Arizona are making out. O xoxo
Hey baby, we are doing well, we're done at the hospital, had a mishap that we will explain later at home but everyone is alright. C xoxo
Something I need to worry about? O xoxo
No, it's all good, I will explain later though. C xoxo
Okay well we are almost done here so do you want to meet at home or someplace else? O xoxo
We can meet at home then figure out what we are doing for dinner. C xoxo
Okay we should be home in about 30 minutes to an hour. O xoxo

"Yes let's, I got to get some ice for my hand, it's starting to throb now"
"The adrenaline is wearing off" I tell her and we make our way to the car.
"I just hope Jess isn't to upset with me that you injured your hand. If she's anything like I was she will need that hand fully functional" I turn and wink at her.
"HA, you're funny. But she will be fine once we explain what happened"
"I hope so"
We make our way through that traffic and head towards home. I hope Arizona had a good day minus the Penny run in. Here's hoping they decide to make the move. It will be so nice to have her so close again and we can make Sofia happy that we're so close again. When everything is said and done Sofia's happiness is what matters to us both.
I have to deal with the Penny issue as well, she tells me she isn't given up on us so I will have to deal with that, but that's a job for Monday; for now I am going to sit back and enjoy my weekend with Jess, Arizona and Sof, and of course Olivia and Noah. I am determined not to let Penny get to me; nothing can ruin this weekend for me.
We make it home and are just getting seated in the living room with some ice on Arizona's hand when Olivia and Jess come through the door.
"Baby, what the hell happened to your hand?" Jess asks as she runs over to Arizona and kneels in front of her.
"It's fine sweetheart, just a little bruising"
"Jess it's my fault. We ran into my ex at the hospital and she started spewing her mouth. Arizona punched her in the face and bruised her hand a little. I am so sorry"
"Calliope, it was not your fault, she started it and wouldn't shut up. Then her hands were all over you"
"Excuse me?" Olivia says.
"Okay, let me explain the whole story first" I tell them all.
I go about explaining everything to them from the start of the tour to the run in with Penny. I tell them what all Penny had to say, the touching me and then the kiss she gave me. I look into Olivia's eyes when I tell her I didn't kiss her back nor did I want her to kiss me.
"I believe you Callie, but you have got to find a way to deal with that woman and soon, this can't keep happening or I'm going to pay her a visit and she'll wish she never met me"
"I will baby, but I will deal with on Monday at work, I just want to enjoy this weekend while we can. I will go to HR first thing Monday morning and then after work go to the station and get a restraining order as well. She says she still loves me and won't give up till she gets me back"
"I swear to god if this woman doesn't give it up, she won't be happy if I have to go to her"
"I know baby and trust me I hope it doesn't come to that; although the thought of you defending me sounds HOT" I wink at her.
"Arizona, I am sorry about your hand but thank you for being there for Callie"
"Olivia, you don't need to thank me, it was something I should've done years ago, that woman gets to me so much. She's lucky all she got was one punch"
"Baby, are you going to be okay?" Jess asks as she's looking over Arizona's hand.
"I promise sweetheart I will be fine, it's just a little bruising, will be gone in a day or two"
"Okay" Jess leans down and softly kisses her hand.
We all sit there and the girls tell us about their day at the station and I can't help but notice the sparkle in Jess's eyes as she tells us about her day. She even had some information on a case that one of the guys is working on. I am excited.
"The kids should be home anytime, what are we going to do for dinner?" I ask everyone.
"Well after the day we've all had, how about we just order take out and chill out here at home?" Olivia offers.
"Sounds good to us" Jess says.
The kids get home shortly after that and we all decide pizza for dinner. Olivia gets that ordered while Arizona explains to Sof what happened to her hand; just telling her there was an accident at the hospital today. Sof seems to believe that version and the kids go into Noah's room to play before dinner.
Once dinner gets here and we have all eaten, we all change into comfy clothes and chill out in the living room; the kids watching cartoons and us adults just sitting around chatting; Arizona and Jess each talking about their days out. It is so nice to have Arizona here (and Jess of course). It's like there's never any distance with us, we can talk and pick at each other like no time or distance has pasted. It feels really good to be where we are now. I know it has taken a lot of work on both our parts to get here, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I am very happy with Olivia and Noah and I know she is very happy with Jess. Sofia is just always happy when she has us both around her, so she's easy to please.
I am so glad we all get along and can talk freely and carry on with each other the way we have all evening. It might make their decision easier. Everything so far seems to point in the direction of them making the move but I don't want to get my hopes up too high. I won't pester them for an answer, I will give them some time to think about everything and talk things out.
"Well it seems you both had a great day" Olivia speaks up
"We did. Now we just have to make a decision and go from there" Jess answers.
"Take all the time you need, I know it can't be an easy decision to make. There are a lot of things to consider"
"There is but like we all know; there's not a lot holding us to Seattle either" Jess turns to Arizona and winks at her.
"Sofia, can you come out here for a minute please?" Arizona yells down the hallway.
"Yes mommy?" Sofia asks as she sits in Arizona's lap.
"Come sit with us for a few minutes please, Jess and I want to talk to you" I open my arms and she crawls into my lap.
"What's wrong mommy?"
"Nothing is wrong baby girl. We just wanted to let you and mama know that we have had a great day visiting the police station and the hospital today and that we will be moving to New York"
"Really?" Sofia asks
"Are you serious Arizona?" I ask her, with a shocked face.
"Yes. We talked about it last night and every day since you guy brought the suggestion to our attention. We were already willing to make the move, we just had to see how the day went today and I would say it was a huge success"
"Oh My God Arizona" I fling myself towards her and Sofia and bring them both into a bone crushing hug. I can't stop crying.
"Hey, it's all working out Calliope. This is what makes the most sense for Sofia's sake and Jess and I both seem to be pretty excited for the 'change in scenery' this move will bring us both"
"Callie, we already had the decision made, just needed today to go well to solidify our decision" Jess tells me.
I get up and move over to her and pull her into a hug as well. This day just cannot get any better! Everyone stands and is hugging and crying and laughing.
"Now we just have to find a place to live and get moved, then we can move on with our lives and find a new routine for everyone involved" Arizona says.
"That won't be a problem and Callie and I will help any way we can, to make things easier for you both" Oliva responds.
"Thank you Olivia, I am sure we will rely on you both greatly in the next little bit" Jess tells her.
"I have to make an appointment with the Chief tomorrow to go over the details of my contract at the hospital"
"Okay baby, you and Callie can get that done and Olivia and I will spend the day with the kids" Jess says while holding Arizona in her arms. Leans down and kisses Arizona's temple.
"That sounds good to me, let's get the kids bathed and ready for bed, then I will call the Chief" I tell them.
Yay, this day is one of THE best I have had in a LONG time. Now just to work out all the details and get them here in New York!
