Michael POV

I must say, Ethan was very excited to be going down to Tartarus for a prophecy that didn't even involve him. Not that he nor Bianca even knew where we were going there.

After making sure that Ethan had his sword, I drove us to Belvedere Castle, where T had told me to go in the case I ever wanted to come down and train with him.

When I pulled up and parked in front of the castle, Ethan and Bianca gave me weird looks.

"Uh, why are we here, Mikayla?" Ethan asked. Oh, that's right. He doesn't know I'm Michael. I don't know how since we are in my car, and only I ever drive my car. Except for when I let Bianca drive for lessons, now that I'm giving her those. So much that he's not caught up on.

"This is the way my patron told me to go if I ever wanted to train with him," I explained. "Now, out." They both did as I ordered as quickly as they could. I locked my car and started towards the castle.

"Who is your patron?" Bianca asked as she and Ethan walked on either side of me. I gave her a wicked smile and said nothing. We slipped through the castle until we came across a special window. Well, nothing was special about it per se, but I knew about it because T had talked about it with me. I tapped the center of the intricate window three times and stepped back.

Nothing happened.

I frowned. "That was supposed to work," I muttered, looking at the window again.

"What was supposed to work?" Bianca asked.

"The window was supposed to turn into a portal," I explained, examining the window closely.

"Maybe you were scammed," Ethan suggested. He stepped in front of me. "Maybe you can tell us who your patron is now. I know I wouldn't mind." I tilted my head back to look up at him.

"Maybe this'll help." I kicked him in the stomach, pushing him to the window. I suddenly cradled my stomach, feeling something in it shift.

"You okay?" Bianca asked, at my side.

"Yeah, yeah," I managed. "Just forgot that I shouldn't be doing that." I looked up to see what had happened to Ethan, but he was gone.

He'd gone through the window.

He didn't break the window. He went through the window as if it were water.

"That solves that problem," I concluded. I turned to Bianca and held out my arm like a gentlewoman. "Shall we?" Her expression of shock turned into a smile. She linked her arm through mine and together we walked through the window.

On the other side, we found Ethan staring at a castle made of blood-red stone. His lower lip seemed to be trembling as he took in the castle.

It was built like those medieval castles of old. It had towers that shot up into the sky, parting blood-red clouds and winged monsters that soared through the air. Monsters made of stone stood on pedestals, looking like they were guarding the castle. The castle had one massive, dark red door that was partially open. Probably for us. Maybe not, I don't know. Clear windows shone with light from the inside of the castle, showing that someone was home.

"Well, it looks like he's home," I commented. I looped my arm through Ethan's and began dragging both him and Bianca towards the castle. "Come on. I want to introduce you two to Tartarus."

Neither said a word as I hauled them through the doorway and through the halls, looking for Tartarus.

We finally found him in an office of sorts. He looked to be rifling through papers—what for, I have no idea—and had no idea we were here.

"Hey, T!" I shouted, bursting into the room. He looked up, unfazed by my sudden entrance. His hands stopped dead at the sight of my heavily pregnant female self.

"Eros," he muttered, more to himself than to me.

"I'm sorry, who?" I asked. He lifted his head again and I got a better look at him. He had dark red eyes and bright white hair. His skin was the color of the landscape outside. He wore a black suit and tie.

"You're uncle, I'm afraid, is responsible for this," he said, gesturing to my body. He walked out from behind his desk and up to me and my companions. "Though, the unborn children in your stomach are the result of something else, I am sure."

"Eros is my uncle?" I asked the primordial. He stopped a couple of feet in front of me and I felt Ethan and Bianca hide behind me. "Wait, children?! As in more than one!?"

"Yes, he is. Unfortunately." Tartarus ignored my second question. He looked over my shoulder—which wasn't that hard to do—and at my friends. "Ah, Bianca Di Angelo and Ethan Nakamura. Nice to meet you two. I have family members that would like to meet you."

"Y-You do?" Ethan stammered.

"Yes. You demigods are very interesting to us primordials. Why do you think Aether and Achlys took on demigod children? Or why Pontus, Ouranos, Chronos, and myself chose different champions."

"I'm sorry," I interrupted. "Kronos? He chose a champion?"

"Not that petty Titan that is challenging Olympus," Tartarus corrected. "Chronos, the primordial of time. Starts with a 'ch.'"

"Nice to know."

"Indeed." he surveyed us with his red eyes. "I assume that you are here to test your powers?"

"Yeah. I can't totally fight, though. Not in this state, at least." Tartarus shrugged and clapped his hands together.

"Excellent. Now, I have someone who would like to meet you right now, Nakamura. Please, after me." Tartarus walked out of the room. I pushed Ethan after him and closed the door. I turned to Bianca, who had a wicked grin on her face. I mirrored it before lunging for her.

Half an hour later, a knock sounded on the door. Bianca and I made our selves presentable before I opened to door to see a tall, purple and pink winged man standing there. He had inky black hair, which looked amazingly sexy. Like, sexier than Chris Hemsworth hair, which is super sexy. He looked down at Bianca and me and smirked knowingly.

"If you two are doing fucking on my uncle's chair," he said, his voice as smooth as silk, "then we should make haste. Your friend has found a patron and you two are needed to help the other primordials find champion hosts." He pivoted on his heels and strolled away, leaving Bianca and I red-faced as we ran after him.

"Are you Eros?" I asked the tall man. He chuckled.

"No, but I am his twin," he said. "I am Phanes, the god of procreation."

"That's how you knew what we were doing," I blurted out. He laughed loudly.

"Yes, that is how I knew. I could feel the energy surrounding the room and stood guard until you were done. You're lucky my uncle was busy. He would've sent you to Thanatos the hard way. And you'd better have cleaned up." Bianca was as red as a tomato but I shrugged.

"Yeah, it's all clean. You said that the other primordials need 'champion hosts.' What does that mean?"

"Wait and find out," he told me. "All will be revealed soon enough." I tried asking another question, but he didn't answer again so I stopped talking, which annoyed me a lot. I'm a pregnant woman. Everyone should tell me what I ask for.

Phanes led us to a set of humongous doors. He turned around in front of them, his hands behind him.

"Michael Triest and Bianca Di Angelo," he started. "Let me introduce to you, the primordial council!" He flung open the doors and stepped to the side to let us through. My mouth hit my breasts at the sight of all the beings in the room. They were all sitting in thrones in a circle.

I recognized my patron in his dark suit. Next to him was a man in a golden one-piece suit and green hair. Next him was a lady dressed in sweatpants and a sweater. I instantly liked her.

Next to her was an empty seat—I assumed that Phanes sat there—and next to the empty seat sat who had to be Eros. He looked the exact same as Phanes except that his hair was a bright snowy white.

Next to Eros sat my father in a yellow and white button up shirt and jeans. After him was who I guessed to be Hemera, dressed in a dress that was similarly colored to the daytime. After her was a lady dressed in all black with impossibly black hair, eyes like stars, and skin as pale as Nico, though it suited her well. Next to her stood a man who was dressed in all black and looked the same as the woman, though his eyes showed no white at all.

After this man sat a man in a black and red suit stood there. His eyes were covered by a dark visor like Cyclops from the X-Men wore and he had dark hair. Ethan sat at the foot of his throne.

Next to him was a man who dressed similarly to Poseidon, except that his hair was a light gray. Next to him sat a woman with salt and pepper colored hair and dark skin, dressed in a dress that resembled the sea. After her was an empty throne. After the empty throne was where Ouranos sat. I recognized him from when he blessed Percy. After him was a man in a dark cloak and wings sprouting from his back. His head was uncovered and I had to say, he was quite beautiful. Almost Eros and Phanes beautiful. After him was two more empty thrones and then my patron again.

"And you all are?" I asked, gesturing to all of them. My father laughed.

"Son—I mean daughter—Eros, change her back after this meeting," he scolded Eros.

The beautiful god stretched his wings and nodded noncommittally. "You sure about that, bro?" he asked, his voice as beautiful as a summer day on the beach. "If I change her back now, bye bye babies."

"Again, plural?" I demanded. They ignored me.

"Which can deal with that beforehand," dad said. "But after we do that, you will change him back." Eros leaned back and nodded. Dad refocused his attention on me. "As I was saying, Michael, we are the primordial council. You know me and my wife, Hermera. You know your patron, and you know Ouranos and Phanes now. The one by your friend is Moros. The others are Chronos, Ananke, Nyx, Erebus, Pontus, Thalassa, and Thanatos. The ones who are missing are Gaea, Achlys, and Ourea."

"Nice to know," I said. "Now, Phanes said something about 'champion hosts.' What does that mean?"

"It means that we will choose champions who can host our spirits and powers," golden suit man—Chronos—said. "It is not unlike what those Egyptians did. And are starting to do again, against the will of the House of Life."

"Chronos," Nyx—the dark lady—warned. "They don't have knowledge of them yet. We will get to them later."

"Yes, yes," Chronos waved her off. He leaned towards Bianca and I. "Basically when we choose a champion, they can host our spirit and use our powers. Since you are Tartarus's champion, you can use his powers in battle or daily life. But to do so you have to work with your patron—not a single thought can differ. It's almost exactly like the Egyptians."

"What he's saying," Ethan added, "is that you have be in complete harmony with the god. For some reason, Moros chose me for a champion, and the others want help for finding theirs. Demigods that have a similar agenda or power spectrum."

"You have a similar agenda to the god of doom?" Bianca deadpanned. Ethan shrugged.

"It works for us," he looked up at the god, who nodded to him.

"I've got one for Eros or Phanes," I started. "Silena Beauregard, daughter of Aphrodite. She loves everyone and tries to—" I was cut off as a bright flash lit up the room. When it cleared, Silena was standing there, blinking. She saw the gods and immediately started shaking.

"Silena!" Bianca shouted and rushed the girl. Bianca gripped her shoulders and whispered things to her to calm her down.

"You could've waited until I was done," I remarked. "Dad, for you I'd recommend Lee Fletcher—don't flash him here yet! I'll list all the ones I know off the top of my head for now, and when I'm done you can flash them here. Not before so we can tell them all whatever Bianca just told Silena." My girlfriend had led Silena back over to me by now and she was calmer then she had been less than a minute ago. "Bianca, you could be Nyx or Erebus's champion. Nico could be the other—"

"Nico Di Angelo will be my champion," Thanatos interrupted.

"Okay," I blinked. "That works. The other could be...Luca! He could be Erebus's host/champion. Hemera, you could be a patron to Brooklyn or Nora. Phanes or Eros, whichever one of you doesn't choose Silena, there's a girl named Summer who is a daughter of a love god. I'd choose her. Chronos, two demigods for you could be the Stoll brothers. It's either both or neither with them. For Gaea it could be Katie—I know Gaea isn't here." I said as Eros opened his mouth. "I'm just saying. It makes sense. Ananke, you could choose..."

"I do not need one," she told me. I shrugged.

"Cool. Makes this easier for me. Thalassa, I know one for you but she's on a quest and can't be distracted right now. I'd wait a little bit before getting her. Ouranos, you could choose my brother, Percy."

"I already granted him my power," Ouranos said. "When he held up my sky, I gave him some of my power to help him survive and chose him to be my champion."

"Noted. And I'm sorry Pontus, but I don't know who could be your host." The old sea god smiled down at me.

"It is fine," he said. "I already know someone, but he is not ready."

"I'm not even going to ask," I said, already tired. After a moment of silence, I asked, "Now what?"

"Now," dad started. "We are going to train you all."
