Darma was waking up a ready for the day, when she opened her eyes the first thing she saw was Karmas face right in her face.
"good morning." She said not bothering to move away. "how did you sleep?" she asked.
"It was pleasant." But then her face turned to annoyance. "but then you did the thing that I've hated since middle school." She said.
Karma laughed and back away, "sorry, but this is always my favorite time, when your face is just waking. It's not like I can see my face when I'm waking up." She said. "I won't be able to do this once I get married. So, I'm taking every opportunely I can." She said, then started stretching.
"she did it yesterday as well." Larma said rubbing her eyes.
"she never did learn the meaning of boundaries because we're twins." Darma said getting out of bed. "well I think I'll go wake up Bodi." She said and walking to the door
"I'll come with you!" they both said following her.
"if you want to. But I talked with Bodi the other day, he not going to be shirtless anymore." She said.
"aww." They said but kept following.
When they got to the living room, they didn't see Bodi, but they did see Gideon on the small couch. "hum? Where did he go?" then the three of them heard some noise the back. When they got to the window, they saw Bodi doing pawstand pushups, shirtless.
"48, 49, 50!" he said then pushing off and standing up. "I must be getting rusty; I use to do it in have the time." He said. then he notices that the girls were looking at him throw the window. He just waved to them and then remembered the talk he had with Darma the other day. "sorry, just working on my train." He said walking away to get his shirt. After putting it no he opened the door. "it helped a little back when I was still learning how to concentrate my inner fire." He said, "I didn't expect you girls to be awake by this time?" he said.
"yeah, we just wake up not too long ago." Darma said. "how long were you awake for?" Karma and Larma had left to actually get ready.
"hum, about an hour. I started with some setup, then squatting. And then what you saw me doing." He said.
"and this should help you control your fire?" asked Darma.
"yeah, it helped me a lot. Before, I couldn't even produce the small spark I showed a few days ago."
"I should have asked earlier, but is your fire more physical base, or mental based?"
Bodi opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. "hum?" he then started to think. "I can't say for sure, I've just always just felt it and it comes out, never put much thought into it." He said looking at his paws and then remembered yesterday and the spark he felt.
"well, you shouldn't worry about it right now." She said placing a paw over one of his, "you'll think better with a full stomach. And everyone always says, 'breakfasts the most important meal of the day.'" She said.
"Yeah, let's eat something." He said, and then walked with her
After eating.
"so, what the plan for the day. Going out on another walk, the mall?" Bodi asked while doing some stretches. They were outside in the back yard
"I don't know. I don't feel like walking, I don't want to run into Richened again. The mall is fun, but there's not much I need form there, and we just eat, so…" Darma said doing the same as Bodi.
"what, can't think of a good idea for a date now." Nick said from a tree branch right above
"Nick! Stop doing that!" Darma yelled.
"what, I was out here first. Just waiting out here a little more before heading out." He said.
"do you know something we can do?" Bodi asked.
"well if you're looking for something to do…" Nick said giving Bodi a look that Darma found to be suggestive.
"Nick." She said with a threatening tone.
"What?" he laughed, "I was about to suggest the arcade. He's lived without technology, and videogames are the best things. He should experience it while he's here." He said.
"what's a video game?" Bodi said.
"Good point." Darma said, "I guess that's the best we got."
"glad I could be of assistance, now how would you like to…"
"were family, and family doesn't need to be repaid for something as simple as this." Darma said. "come on Bodi, it'll be fun." She said and grabbed Bodi's paw and walked away.
"let's go." He said and matching Darma's pace holding paws as they walked.
"why is it that I get the feeling they're not dating, but the way they act shows that they are." Nick said. "oh, well, must be my imagination." He said leaning back.
As they got to the arcade.
"So why was he running around the school naked?" asked Bodi.
"he lost a beat, and he is a male of his word. But if he won, then Ray would have had to sing the more embarrassing song Tommy could think of." She said, "oh were here." She said.
"ok, so what are we going to do while we're here?" he asked because he never did get an answer.
"were just going to play some games. Come on, we need to get some tokens." She said. walking through the door.
When Bodi walk thought the door, he was amazed by all the colorful screes, the crowd of mammals cheering. Very little females, and the once that were there, were surrounded by guys. "this place is so weird." He said. he then noticed it was darker than it should be, even though it was almost noon. He then noticed there weren't that many windows, and the walls were dark colors.
"ok, so I got us some tokens." Darma said walking up to him, she then noticed that she Bodi was looking around. "Bodi are you ok?"
"hum? Oh yeah, I was just looking around, this is a strange place." He said still looking around, "this just looks weird."
"This is mostly for when it gets late. It so that most don't know what time it is outside, so you spend more time in here. If you around, you can also see that there are no clocks anywhere, so your sense of time is thrown all over the play. They say when you're having fun, time flies, so if you can't see the time then you spend more time and more money." She said explaining. "casinos do the same thing, so be careful if you ever find yourself in one."
"ok, so what should we do first?" he asked.
"hum? Well since you never played a Videogame before we should play something easy." She then started looking around. "oh, pake-male. This is an easy game everyone can play. Come on I'll show you." Shen then showed him how to play the game, eat the dots and avoid the ghost.
"wow, this is simple." Bodi said playing the game, "oh, look I leveled up." He said. "this is fun, ahh!" he said barely dodging the red Ghost. "why is it getting harder." He said just geeing passed the blue one, but it was short-lived because the pink one got him. "aww." He said.
"you want to go again." She said handing him a token.
"no, I think I want to play another game." He said, "and maybe one we can both play."
Darma smiled, "sure, now let me see, oh this game should be fine." She said taking his paw and leading him to the game."
