Fell into Remnant
~A/N~ No-one: Merry Christmas everyone, sorry for making you all wait the entirety of November, but gathering my brain cells for this takes time, but I got all of you a gift for your holiday of choice.
No-one: But enough of my useless rambling on with the story...

~Chapter 20 The First Move~
Ash smiled with her face pressed against the side of the window, looking down at the Grimmlands below, "Wow everything looks so different from up here" she said excitedly "I can see the spawn pits from here too!"
"What exactly are you?" asked Hazel, his curiosity getting the better of him as he stared at her from the corner of his eye.
"What do you mean?" Ash replied with genuine confusion "I am Ash"
"I know that" Hazel responded "Lady Salem said you were her daughter, but I was under the impression she could not have children"
"Oh that's what you mean" she realized "Mother can empower Grimm when they are in her presence, so when Cinder failed mother saw this as an opportunity to test a theory" she paused "I was originally a Geist Grimm but mother said Cinder's punishment would be my privilege, so mother empowered me and allowed me to take Cinder's body for my own"
Hazel listened silently, slowly becoming more horrified as the secret of Ash's birth was revealed with childlike innocence, "Do you have her soul inside you?" he asked.
"Yes, it's weird, it's like a constant warmth coming from inside me" she answered "I don't know how humans and faunus can only do bad with one"
"What do you mean by that?"
"Mother said 'Humans and Faunus are virus, destroying the world for their own selfish goals'"
Amber was bored, team RWBY had left earlier for some team training, looking at the ceiling she thought back to the ambush, the details towards the end were fuzzy at best, but she the start and middle clearly.
She was proud about how she did against the guy and green haired girl but as soon as the other woman joined in, it only went downhill from there, if wasn't for Ozpin telling her about Salem and the probability that this was one her followers she would be confused on how the knew how to fight her.
Closing her eyes, Amber tried to recall the details of how it all ended, the clear memories end at the exploding arrows and knowing any details will help, she remembers lashing out with the Maiden powers, driving them back, but from there all she remembers is a sharp pain in her shoulder blade and a feeling of helplessness.
'Maybe I'm just trying to force it' she thought to herself 'I should probably relax and let it come back to come back to me' she huffed, looking to end table she reached out grabbing her book and opening to the to the marked page.
The captain slung the unconscious man's arm over his shoulder, lifting him up the captain was disturbed at how light he was, shaking the thoughts off he entered the ship and walked their protector to a spare room with a bed in the corner, carefully he laid the huntsman down on the bed.
Stepping back he watched the huntsman lay still, practically dead to the world deciding he needed his rest more then anyone else on this boat he left, closing the door behind him.
Ash gazed through the window in complete wonder as they left the Grimmlands behind, the dark clouds of her birthplace fading away into a clear blue sky.
"I've never seen the sky like this, it's so blue" said Ash with a cheerful smile before wincing as her eyes caught the sun.
Hazel did not look up from the bullhead's controls "Don't stare at the sun if you value your eyesight"
"I'm bored"
"There's nothing you can do about that at the moment" he replied "the only thing you can really do is get some sleep"
"Okay, but wake me up when we get there"
~A/N~ No-one: Now I know this is disgustingly short, not even one thousand words but I honestly feel like this is the chapter's natural end point.
No-one: I am sorry that you waited so long for this but, this is all I do for now.
No-one: Until next time, I'm No-one Special.
