Authors' note: Hey guys… so this shouldn't be a huge surprise with the pace this story has been going at. We have thought about it for a while, and decided that a summary is the best way to give our readers closure. We're sorry to post this summary, but we decided it was in our best interest to not continue this story anymore. Grad school and working part time has eaten up all of Dreamer's time, and Celtic will be starting student teaching soon and wants to spend what writing time she does have on WoF and Traveller. Without further ado, here is the summary of the events of the 96th Hunger Games.
DAY 2
Tay and Amalissa go hunting in a small group. They come across Thoreau and Maverick. Maverick attacks and kills Tay as Amalissa kills Thoreau. Mav runs away.
Deaths:
14th Place: Tay Fairingdale, District 4 Female
13th Place: Thoreau Abdulrashid, District 11 Male
DAY 3
The Careers regroup after the loss of one of their own and set out for revenge.
Before they can get it, Mav attempts to steal supplies from Marco, who kills him out of defense.
Deaths:
12th Place: Maverick Nash, District 8 Male
DAY 4
An earthquake shakes the Arena, and the Careers are right in the center of it. Zircon gets caught in the rubble, breaking his leg, and is secretly killed by Bliss in an attempt to get closer to Ama and try to create a girl group.
Deaths:
11th Place: Zircon Smith, District 1 Male
DAY 5
Bliss gets closer to Ama while Ares is asleep by acting like a concerned friend and pretending to be traumatized by Zirc's death. The girls agree to attack Ares and Soren and finish these Games by themselves. Ama is unsure, but Bliss promises (falsely) to have her back, and Ama bends to the pressure, frustrated with the high number of Career deaths, particularly Tay. The plan fails with Soren killing Ama, and Bliss makes a narrow escape.

10th Place: Amalissa Blackthorne Vessalius, District 2 Female
DAY 6
Nerrah and Katarina find Rowan and Milo. They agree to attack the boys for supplies. Nerrah gets cold feet and in the last moment, runs away when the boys attack. Katarina kills Milo and is struck down by Rowan in the absence of her ally after an intense fight where he is badly injured.

9th Place: Milo Redtail, District 9 Male
8th Place: Katarina Hubert, District 10 Female
DAY 7
Apple takes refuge in one of the abandoned buildings. Bliss is suspicious that someone is in the building, so she goes in to scale the building. While both are inside, the building explodes, immediately killing both and a wildfire ravages the Arena.
Rowan, who has taken refuge in another house, doesn't have time to escape after the house sets on fire and is consumed by the fire and flaming rubble.
Deaths:
7th Place: Bliss Michalson, District 1 Female
6th Place: Apple Grey, District 3 Female
5th Place: Rowan Axton, District 7 Male
DAY 8
No deaths. The tributes recover and treat their injuries with some sponsor gifts.
DAY 9
Soren and Ares fight, collapsing what remained of the Career alliance. Soren outsmarts Ares and is able to kill him in the fight.
Deaths:
4th Place: Ares Hardy, District 2 Male
DAY 10
The Gamemakers bring Marco and Soren together to fight. Marco is able to kill Soren, who is somewhat injured and outdone by pure determination and force.
Deaths:
3rd Place: Soren Cantarell, District 4 Male
DAY 11
The final battle is between Marco and Nerrah. After a long and gruelling battle of force and a Capitol-sent fire, Nerrah takes over control and wins the fight.
