"Oh, come on," The Kara look-alike giant said as she suddenly shrunk to normal size. "You don't remember me Blitzkrieg? My most trusted commander," She motioned to the double 's' on her Supergirl outfit, which was completely black with red lining. "You don't remember me? Mmm, that's weird. You have only met one alternate version of your…'Superfriend',"
"Overgirl," Barry said, realization crossing over his face as the memory of the Invasion came to mind. "But you died. You supernova'd in the atmosphere,"
"Ah, one would think wouldn't they?" Overgirl commented as she moved around Barry, her fingers lightly grazing his arms and torso. "I thought I was dead. That weakling Kara had taken all of my available energy from me. Just before I went boom boom, I was pulled into this white abyss of nothingness. There, I was given extraordinary abilities,"
"The Source,"
"Exactly," Overgirl said. "I gained the powers of a god, and went by the name Evig, or Powerful One. From the Source, I manipulated time and space to my will, and even created a new Multiverse. One I believe you have encountered...the Negative Multiverse,"
"Red Death,"
"Yes, one of my favorite creations," Overgirl said. "After that, I witnessed an amazing feat. Klye Rayner's voyage through the Source Wall. The wall itself was open for a short time, near instantaneous, but I used that time to string my essence through the wall, placing a small part of myself in the Multiverse. With that tiny piece, I bent Highfather to my will, and used him to break through the wall. I've already already taken over near infinite Multiverses, and yours and a select few are all that remains,"
"We will beat you," Barry said.
"Ah, yes. You and your Dyson's Sphere. It's an ingenious plan, I have to admit, but...it will not stop me," said Overgirl.
"It doesn't have too," Barry said. "All it has to do is kick your ass enough for us to finish the job. We defeated you once, and we'll do it again,"
"Ah yes, your 'We Are The Flash' deal," Overgirl laughed. "Your mass army of heroes will fall before their Negatives, and when they do, their blood will be on your hands, Flash,"
"So, what happened to the 'Fatherland' crap?" Barry asked.
"The Fatherland? Ah. I annihilated that place a long time ago," Overgirl said. "I made sure to put Thawne in his place as well,"
"Hmm, well...I guess that's a plus?" Barry said uncertainty.
"Yes...plus," Overgirl laughed, before becoming serious once again. "So, should we cut the shit and kick each others asses?"
"Well, that's completely up to you," Barry said, a grin on his face as he clenched his fist, which became slightly heavier. "Actually...it's up to me," Barry held out his fist, grinning as a large white beam of light erupted out of the white Lantern ring that sat on his right middle finger. Overgirl was sent flying through the city, crashing through cars, pedestrians, and even buildings before landing in the river.
Barry levitated into the air, the beam continuously pushing her into the river. "YOU...WILL...NOT…" Overgirl was interrupted by the sound of gargling as water flowed into her mouth. She couldn't drown, but it was still uncomfortable.
"Not what?! Kick your sorry Nazi ass?!" Barry shouted as he added his own energy blast to the lantern one, producing a scream of pain from the woman. "YOU. WILL. D-" Barry was cut off as a fist suddenly connected with his jaw, sending him flying into a nearby building.
"What was that?!" Barry looked up to find a random speedster standing in front of him, wearing a black suit with red lining. His cowl was like Barry's with red lenses covering the eyes, and a red cover covering his mouth.
"Man, who the hell are you?" Barry asked as he got to his feet.
"Blitzkrieg. Or...your worst nightmare," The speedster placed a small black ring on his finger, and roared in pain as his body slowly decayed into a skeleton in a torn version of the black and red suit. "I am...the Black Flantern,"
Barry burst into laughter at the sound of the name, doubling over as he laughed. "F-F-Flantern!? That's fucking hilarious!" Barry shouted as he rolled onto the ground in laughter. "N-Not Black Flash? Or BlitzLantern? Or -"
"ENOUGH!" Overgirl shouted, taking a place next to the Black Flantern as the two slowly approached the lone speedster. "You will tremble beneath us, and when you take your final breath, you. Will, D-"
"Die?" Barry interrupted. "Yeah, no. Do you really think I'm that stupid? I know what this is, do you think it's a coincidence you brought me here right after Highfather kidnapped Jamie Corrigan? You were stalling. Well, while I was rolling around in laughter over this jackasses stupid name, I sent another...well...me to kick Highfathers ass. With his current condition, it wasn't that hard. Jamie is now in a safe place, and away from you,"
"She's ours!" Overgirl shouted.
"You said that about Supergirl! And you see how that turned out!" Barry shouted. "You failed last time, and you'll fail this time!"
"YOU WILL DIE AT THE HANDS OF BLITZKRIEG!" Blitz shouted as he charged forward, his fist missing Barry's head, which moved away. Barry uppercutted the man's stomach, grabbing him by the collar before throwing him into a nearby car. Blitzkrieg charged forward, his Black Lantern ring producing a black sledgehammer, which slammed Barry directly into Overgirl's waiting fist.
Blitzkrieg grabbed Barry by the collar, slamming her head into his as a sonic boom echoed through the city. Standing not three feet away was Kara Danvers, or Supergirl. The Girl of Steel charged forward, punching the speedster off of Barry, and into nearby traffic.
Kara continuously punched Blitzkrieg into the ground, while Barry fired a continuous beam of energy into Evig, who flew back and into a building. Barry peered to his side, catching what looked like...a green-tipped arrow flying directly towards Kara. "Supergirl!" Barry shouted. It was too late. Barry watched as the arrow slowly penetrated Kara's skull. Killing her instantly.
Barry didn't know what to think. For the second time in over a year, he had to watch her die at the hands of Kryptonite. No. She can't die. NO. Using the last bit of willpower he had left, Barry snapped his fingers, watching as the arrow pulled itself out of her head. Rewinding time, Barry tracked the arrow all the way back to a black bow which belonged to...the Dark Archer of Earth-X.
He yelled out in anger, charging the archer at the speed of light, phasing his hand into the archers chest. Killing him instantly. Barry stared down at the Oliver look-alike with anger, kicking the body before saying. "You will NEVER hurt anyone again,"
"Flash! Little help here!" Kara shouted as she fought both Overgirl and Blitzkrieg. Barry charged forward, his shoulder pushing Blitzkrieg off his feet and into a nearby car. He then turned, blasting Overgirl off of Kara, before moving to her side. "You ok K-Supergirl?" Barry asked, his hand resting on her injured waist as he helped her to her feet.
"Y-Yeah, if you could -" Kara was interrupted by Barry, who immediately healed her wound. "Thanks,"
"No problemo," Barry said casually as he levitated Blitzkrieg's neck into his waiting hand. "Let's see who's behind the mask," Barry peeled off the black mask, only to find his own face staring back at him. "Well, if it isn't me," Barry commented.
"Fick Dich!" Barry-X shouted in german as he crunched down on something. Before Barry and Kara could react, white foam suddenly poured out of the evil speedsters mouth,
"I-Is he dead?" Kara asked. Barry nodded, throwing the body aside before turning to Overgirl, who was still lying on the ground. Barry grabbed her by the collar, headbutting her into the ground, before pressing his foot into her neck.
"You won't die if I kill this tiny piece of your essence, but it will prove a point. You can send as many people, Lanterns, or demons as you can, but we will crush all of them. And after that, I will hunt your broken form down, and kill you," Barry threatened. "YOU. WILL. DIE," He pressed down, crushing her neck into a thousand pieces.
"Flash! Why did you kill them?!" Kara asked.
"Well, I didn't kill Blitzkrieg. Overgirl is technically a clone, and Dark Archer...he killed you, before I rewound time to save you," Barry said. "Are you ok?"
"Y-Yeah, yeah...I'm ok," Kara said as she wiped a drop of blood from the corner of her mouth. "So...what now?" Barry laughed, getting into a running position before saying. "Now...now we sing our butts off at Sectionals," He took off in a flash of blue and white lightning, arriving in the Hall of Justice in a single minute.
HALL OF JUSTICE
Located in the Hall of Justice was Oliver Queen, who was currently in his Metaverse equivalent Green Arrow outfit. Laurel Lance in her Metaverse outfit. John Diggle in his respective Spartan outfit. Clark in his new outfit. Bruce in a new weaponized mech-Batsuit. Diana in her respective outfit. Doctor Fate now wore a similar outfit, with a darker shade of blue and a darker gold. Courtney and Jesse were wearing the same outfits. Hal wore a full green bodysuit which cut out at the neck, and his eyes were covered with a dark green mask. Felicity Smoak was alive and well, tapping away at her pad, while Roy Harper studied his new robotic left arm. Jamie Corrigan sat in the corner of the room, rubbing her hands together before wiping away her brunette hair. Kara's outfit was the same, but one thing he noticed change was the size of her breasts. He wasn't sure why the timeline changes would change that specific part of her, but he wouldn't say he didn't mind.
"Hey guys!" Barry exclaimed as he widened his arms, expanding the Round Table to accommodate for the large amount of heroes in the room. "How's everyone doing today?"
"Umm, Barry. It's always good to see you man, but...why do I have memories and stuff that aren't mine, but are…" Dig asked.
"Well, you see. There's a catastrophe occuring that risks all Multiverses, but for you to understand, I must give some of you another six years of knowledge. Some four. Others none," He tapped the table, watching as a pulse of blue washed over everyone but Hal, Courtney, and Doctor Fate. "Invasion. The original one. We fought against a group of Nazi's that were led by Overgirl, a doppleganger of Kara. Dark Archer, a doppelganger of Oliver, and the Reverse-Flash,"
"Overgirl and Dark Archer died, while Eobard ran off," Felicity finished.
"Exactly. Well...Overgirl didn't die," Barry said, receiving a few gasps from the group. "Before the supernova, Overgirl was pulled into the Source, where she was given emince power. During this introduction to powers, her essence was turned to gas, which she could replicate with the touch of any matter. She used Highfather to develop some method of breaking through Multiversal walls...she's already consumed...seventy-six Multiverses,"
"Seventy-six?" Hal asked in disbelief.
"Yes...no. Seventy seven now," Barry said. "Anyway, due to my bringing together the Arrowverse, Metaverse, Marvelverse, and Kryptoverse, Evig or Overgirl has only been able to seed herself into the Megniverse and -"
"Wait. Megniverse?" Oliver asked.
"Yes, it's the name of all four Multiverses combined to one," Barry said. "Anyway. Evig has only been able to seed herself into the Megniverse. So it is most likely that this Multiverse will be the last that she can infiltrate and destroy. This Megniverse is the endgame,"
"Great. Just great," Diggle said.
"Yes. So, we have a few new heroes to collect," Felicity said as several images appeared on the screen of an invasion in New York. The picture itself showed six individuals, all fighting against aliens that seemed to come from a blue space portal which appeared to be over a large skyscraper with the word STARK hanging on the side.
One was wearing a star-spangled outfit, which was bright blue with white stripes across his chest and bright red stripes that ran down the side of his ribs to his knees. The uniform also contained a communicator on the right glove, and a strap on his left glove that allowed him to latch his shield to his left arm. And featured an open ear design for the helmet.
Another was wearing a red and gold exo-skeleton, which Barry could tell housed several different types of weapons. The man's helmet was red, with the face being gold and the eyes being a bright blue. Barry could also see the man firing some sort of repulsion energy from his palms, meaning that a large amount of energy was being used to power the suit.
The third man was wearing a silver, red, and blue outfit, with the torso, legs, and arms being silver and blue. The man wore a red cape, which was partially covered by the man's long blonde hair, which travelled down to his middle back. Then, Barry saw the hammer. Mjolnir. The hammer of Thor, the God of Thunder.
"The Avengers," Barry said, memories of the six individuals histories suddenly appearing in his mind. "Steven 'Steve' Rogers, Anthony 'Tony' Stark, Thor Odinson, Bruce Banner, Natalia Romanova, and Clint Barton. Or, Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye,"
"How did you know that? All of their folders are closed," Felicity said.
"Omniscience," Barry replied as he tapped his forehead. "Omniscience, Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omnicompetent, and Omnidirectional,"
"That's a lot of Omni...stuff," Roy said.
"Yes it is," Barry said as he tapped his finger on the desk. "I just sent a neural message to Mr. Rogers. They'll be here in forty minutes,"
"Barry, we have to be on stage in...three minutes," Kara said as she looked down at her phone. "Finn just texted me saying the first club is almost finished. We need to go now,"
"K," Barry waved his hand, watching as his red Flash suit morphed into a black suit, with gold lining. He grinned as Kara's Supergirl outfit changed into a black dress, with a golden belt and gold lining. "Ok...let's ride,"
