Sorry for the long wait! Constantly rewriting and editing this was getting annoying.

"..."

"What?"

"..."

"Oh come on. It's not like I did anything that bad."

"Alter. When you tell someone you will be their most "ardent admirer". Make sure it's to Alex."

"It's not that bad."

"Not that bad? Not that bad. Ever since you did that. That lady in black keeps staring at us from afar!"

"Like I said. It's not that bad, and why don't you wave at her?"

"I tried that, and she just looked away."

"If she doesn't wave back I can change-"

"No! No, you will not!"

"Oh yeah?"

It felt more like a buzz, and I had to stop it. I stopped for a moment, and part of it was due to Jeanne searching for me. It just felt like it was trying to force its way to the center of my mind, but I couldn't let it do that. I just couldn't let Jeanne see this if he did anything bad.

"Jaune?" Ruby asked as I snapped my focus back onto her. "Are you alright? You're staring off into space."

"Oh. Yeah, it's nothing really." My vision focused back on my diligent twin attempting to scan for every blonde that passes by her station, as she focused for a moment on Yang before letting her pass. "Hey, Ruby? Let's take a detour."

"Huh. Why?" Her eyes locking onto Jeanne's, as in return Jeanne's eyes focused on hers, and then to mine. She swiftly made her way towards me. "Is that your-"

"Yeah. She's my sister, and I think I should start leaving-" I took a single step back as a gunshot echoed through, as a crater formed near my right. "Nevermind." I sighed, as the familiar whining noise of her rifle slowed down, as she carried its unpacked form.

"H-hi there!" Ruby happily greeted, as her eyes examined the ivory white rifle from the barrel to its golden ornate etches. "I'm Ruby Rose."

With a tilt of her head. Her eyes quickly slid to the right of her as she examined Ruby from head to toe. "How old are you?"

"Jeanne!" I shouted at her. I just met her! Also dammit Alter! "It's not like that."

"I'm 16-" Oh god Jeanne is going to kill me. Ruby stood there confused, as I booked it into the auditorium. The moment Jeanne acted on something. It was as impossible to stop her, as it was to stop a Grimm super horde.

A shot echoed through the air as I dove to the side and into one of the staff entries of the auditorium. The force of entry pushed the automatic doors out of the way, as my trajectory to being smashed against a concrete wall was stopped by a well-placed cane canceling the force I was traveling at with its force. "Ack!" Also, it really hurts.

"Are you okay? Young Knight?" A calmer voice spoke up, as I reorientated myself after being helped up by their helping hand. There was...Coffee now arising in the air, as one of the stagehands fixed a blinding light that finally revealed her.

She had to be a few inches taller than myself, while her cane supported itself to allow her to offer me the hand I now grabbed. Clad in various tones of greens, but the part of her I took note of the most was her silver hair. She took another sip of her coffee, as she waited for my response. I didn't know what was worse. The fact I could hear Jeanne catching up to me, or how she seemed to be staring not at me, but something in me.

"I." I slowly nodded before speaking up. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be here, and I was trying to find the orientation hall. If I'm trespassing I can leave."

"No." She shook her head once. "You are exactly where you should be. Mr. Arc. Of course a simple thank you would be equally as acceptable as attempting to charge at me."

"You...know my name?" She smiled as she gave a curt nod.

"Of course I do. Mr. Arc, as it was your transcript that ended up directly on my desk after all." Oh. Oh no.

Jeanne barged in with the now compacted rifle. "I'm sorry Professor!" She suddenly fell silent seeing I was already 'caught'. "I'll escort him out-"

"There's no need for that Ms. Arc. I merely wish to greet your brother to Beacon; Jaune Arc Welcome to Beacon Academy. I heard of your training, and who you were trained under. You will find that your training will be put to the test during initiation. However, as I am lead to believe by both your sister and your training under Alex." Alex had mentioned something about sending me a gift to help with that, and a bit more extra ammo. She also told me she didn't trust her.

"It's nice to meet you Professor Ozpin." A door to the left of us opened, as she allowed me to join the rest of the crowd. "Thank you for letting me in." Even if Alex doesn't trust her. I still had to experience it for myself, but take her words as advice to watch out for.

"Everyone has their moments to prove themselves, and the same goes for you, Mr. Arc." Her attention focused back on Jeanne. "As for you Ms. Arc."

A flash of red dragged me out of the door, as I could see rose petals in the air. "Thanks, Ruby." She had set me down far enough away from the closing door, as she stared at me.

"So. What exactly happened there?" She was genuinely concerned about my health. "Why does your sister wants to kill you?"

"She doesn't want to actually kill me. Albeit hard to see at times. It's more like she's…" I wasn't sure what the correct words would be.

"Clingy?" Ruby suggested. No. That wasn't quite it either.

"Overbearing." That was as close as I could get to describing her at times.

"Tsundere?"

"No. Just no." Oum help me if my life were to turn into a Mistral Drama Show.

"Yang can be overbearing, but she has never shot at me willingly." I nodded. She was a special case.

"I grew up with seven sisters, and trust me they used to wrap me in bubble wrap every time I woke up if I didn't lock my room." Of course, that was only when I was 6, but still.

"Seven," Ruby said in horror, as I nodded. "How." I shrugged.

"I don't know, but I know that she will never try to kill me." On purpose of course, and that bullet was probably meant to break my Aura still. "Purposefully at least. Maim sure, but not kill." Ruby looked unconvinced.

"Ruby!" Yang waved to us, and I waved back to her while Ruby made her way to her. "I saved you a spot!"

"See you later Jaune!" Even without the rose petals following her. She had managed to close the distance at an alarmingly fast speed.

"See ya!" I waved her off. Although I wondered who I was going to meet and befriend now.

An Amber gaze caught my attention, as the lady in black was still focusing on me ever so often. However, waving to her had zero effects. I didn't even realize how close she was to me.

"Hey there." I smiled at her as half of her face was covered by a book. "Is that "My Sweet Samurai?"

"It is." She said. She wasn't much of a talker, it seems, and growing up with 7 sisters gave away the fact she was going to ask me something that I had to be very careful in answering.

"It's the gun isn't it?" I had locked it in its case before slamming into Ozpin, but she must have seen it in public. I still didn't get a response from her, as she just stared at me. She wasn't making this easy. "Anyways. My name is Jaune Arc, and I wanted to say it's nice to meet you."

"..." Still silence.

I looked to where her eyes stared mostly, as she may have just wanted me to realize what it was. It traced back to.

Alex's symbol placed behind the Arc Symbol. Where her symbol was more minimalist, it was also etched into the rifle. While the Arc Symbol surrounded hers. She had made the design choice of keeping my family crest a lighter metallic color then hers, as it was something about the reflection of the light if she made the symbol yellow or gold. I wonder how she got her emblem.

Everyone on this side stood closely together, and she seemed to want nothing more than some privacy or at least a good 10 feet to herself.

"Oh. This?" I tapped the emblems. "It's cool, isn't it? At least I think it is." I doubted she wanted to hear the history of it.

"What are your thoughts on symbols?" Huh? She finally spoke up softly but firmly enough to understand.

"Well that's a pretty hard question to answer, and it depends on the symbol." I rubbed my neck. "Overall. I think symbols are cool ideas that don't need words to understand. The symbols on my rifle. That arc and the inner symbols are my symbols and that of my mentor's." I pointed to them again, distinguishing which is which.

"And of the Schnee Dust Corporation?" The what?

"Uh...Who?" Her eyes narrowed, as she began to explain.

"Atlas' biggest Dust product corporation. An organization that advocates lowered Faunus wages, workplace abuse, and the systematic oppression of the lower class?" She said with calm hate. I was only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

"That's horrible." She nods. "My mentor would hate them." Her eyes moved and shifted every so often, almost like a cat. They reminded me of Jasmine's eyes, always sprinting in her head to find answers and pair them with observations. Of course, she already proved she wasn't much of a talker.

"Blake Belladonna." That was her name, and I guess I managed to meet her on some stable footing at least.

"I'll. Keep this brief. You come here today in the search for knowledge, to hone your craft and to acquire new skills, and when you finish. You plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people." There was a pause as the head master's gaze searched the entire room. "I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy. A need for purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time in this school will show you that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step."

Glynda spoke up soon afterward. Warning us to prepare for tomorrow. Blake had disappeared off somewhere within a few seconds, as I bumped into someone else by chance.

"I'm sorry!" Did she apologize- for me?

After I managed to balance myself again, I did manage to get a better look at her. She looked familiar, but I wasn't sure where. That red hair, green eyes.

"I'm sorry. I should be the one apologizing for bumping into you." I tried to apologize but she seemed ready to defend the hill of apologizing.

"It's my fault for standing in the way." I had to ask her.

"You… seem familiar." I thought of it. Just where did I see her before? I noticed it just for a moment; a break in her smile. That wasn't good, well. I couldn't remember where I could have even seen her from anyways. "No...Sorry. I must be thinking of someone else." Her smile grew a bit wider.

"I get that many times. It's nice to meet you." With a stretch of her hand, and an offer to me. I took it.

"You've probably heard me say this already." Dad did ask me to say this at least once. "Jaune Arc. Short, sweet. Ladies love it." She even gave a small giggle from it. It was better than what I would have expected.

"It's nice to meet you Jaune. I'm Pyrrha Nikos." I nodded. "I hope to meet you again during the orientation."

"Likewise, Pyrrha. If I remember what my sister had said before. We might even become partners." We followed the crowd, as they funneled out of the exits. Ruby and Yang eventually finding their way with us.

"How are you holding up, lady killer?" Yang greeted, as Ruby defended me for my sake- even if it wasn't a strong defense, but still. She did it for me.

"Ladykiller?" I asked with incredulous. Thankfully Jeanne wasn't anywhere in sight, and so wasn't in hearing range as well to acknowledge Yang's new title for me. "When did I become a lady killer?"

"I should be asking that to you," Yang replied. If I replied it would be an uphill battle.

With a shake of my head, I decided to make at least one comment. "First it's Jaune Wick, now it's "ladykiller." I guess I'm bound to gain these titles as I quest?"

Ruby perked her head up, as she had another question to ask about my rifle. "Who trained you?"

"I was trained by... I don't think they want recognition, and you saw one of them." I realize I was going to regret saying that as she had appeared in front of me again with blinding speed.

"You mean that your sister helped make your rifle?" I had to shut her down as she tried to use her "x-ray" vision on my case. "Aw."

"You'll get to see it soon enough Ruby. Initiation is tomorrow isn't it?" In response, she had tried to use all too familiar puppy eyes tactic. "Sorry Rubes, growing up with seven sisters makes me resistant to that."

"No fair!" I nodded with her. It wasn't fair.

I somehow found myself at the edge of the imaginary line everyone else in this temp room had set to separate guys from girls. My weapon case must have been straight on the line, or at least helped form the concept of it.

Once again, Blake had somehow found herself "trapped" next to me, as she tried her best to avoid contact or well any type of social interaction.

Pyrrha meanwhile must have chosen to be here willingly as she had laid out her equipment in front of her, likewise as to how I had to mine.

"That's," I stated, watching her clean and maintain her weapon. Each part of the javelin she called Milo, as it transitioned seamlessly from Sword to Rifle. It followed her silent command, and each touch she placed had meaning to it. "Awesome."

Her lips softly quivered as she shook her head. With a tone so humbled I did not realize was humanly possible - Well besides Apricot and Sepia whenever they broke something or hid one of their other sister's things.

"Your weapon is far more interesting Jaune." Her eyes gave away the silent rose that had managed to lay her hands on the case.

The moment I unlocked it, ruby had picked the rifle to admire it.

"So cool!" Ruby commented in joy. I was certain the rifle would have been taken apart and put back together a hundred times if I looked away from Ruby for even a single second.

"Well. I guess it's hard to find a gun that can't turn into well…" Ruby held crescent rose tightly, as she began to note every part of the rifle. "Any other type of weapon under the sun."

"It's not what your weapon can transform into that matters Jaune. It's how well it can accomplish the job." Pyrrha spoke up, as she continued. "And I agree with Ruby. It is cool to see a huntsman gun like yours."

"What is it called?" Ruby asked.

"Oh boy." Alter chuckled as I swear he was just going to let fate screw me over. "Now: What did Alex call this thing?"

"Oh. Uh, well Ruby this rifle is called…"

"You haven't given it a name, have you?" She knew it right away.

"...Yeah. My mentor gave it to me, and well. She called it the…" I turned it over, Alex had mentioned she had written down the name for me to- "Avtomat"? I couldn't read the rest. "The Sava. I'll call it the Sava."

"That's a beautiful name." Pyrrha complimented. Thank you.

"What does it mean?" Ruby asked as she had gotten closer to the bag I carried. With any luck, she won't figure out the little surprise Rhiannon had packed in it.

"Well. Sava is my mentor's last name. She made this rifle just for me, so I should honor her with it." The two of them nodded in agreement. I noticed Blake's hairbow twitch ever so often as I mentioned her name. I guess we're getting a bit too loud.

"Sorry guys, but I think we should get some sleep now." Pyrrha agreed, I guess she must have noticed Blake's sleep being interrupted by us as well.

"But! But!" Her resistance soon died down, as she went to bed -although it took Yang to drag and tie her down to her sleeping bag-. It would at least give me some time to rest before she demanded to know why I didn't want her to touch the bag.

"Alex." Rhiannon spoke up, as an open document found its way into my hand. It was never good news with these things of course.

It was a manifest, and inventory list. Odd.

It almost went by me: Rhiannon had circled it thankfully, as the red highlight went over a single word and its amount. Tons of Dust. There was no description of the type, just the amount.

"We raided a minor outpost," I confirmed her realization. The amount we found was nowhere near this size. It couldn't have been.

"They took a small portion from the real dust cache. White Fang won't care that we dealt with them, but I doubt that was all of them." She spoke up, as she had to be true. Rise of Dust theft couldn't be used for smaller attacks like the one we prevented.

"We need more information. Did you memorize the van's license plate?" With any luck, it belongs to a small business, or if they're idiotic enough it will lead straight to a prime information source.

"The others are looking into it." With a buzz of her phone came a quick response. "They-. The license plate matched a picture of someone posing with the car. Tukson. Sound familiar?"

"Comics for Jaune." X-Ray and Vav. Limited edition of course, as he had already read all of the other ones.

"Lethal or Non?" Her finger had been resting at the safety switch for a while now. I had no doubt she had an extra clip or two with her.

"Pistols only. I've met him before Rhia, and you will soon enough. We'll enter with them holstered, and hidden. I don't intend to shoot or threaten one of the few book store owners that sell some actual interesting books." He may not even be guilty of any suspicions we're putting on him. All we have is a license plate for now, and maybe some more info if he's willing to talk with us. "With any luck. The next time you lift that skirt of yours will be useful to us."

"Bitch." I only shrugged in response. Nothing different from what we'd usually call each other at some points in time.

"200 Lien if Jaune doesn't use your gift." I spoke up, doubtful he would need it. Though seeing as I'm betting against her, might as well keep it safe with this.

Her smirk returned in a flash. "500, and he'll use it. Get ready to send him some extra ammo for it after we're done with this."

"If he uses it, and if he doesn't you'll owe me another bottle. You drank the one I had my name on." She shrugged, as she tossed it over.

"Just have Jaune get another one for you later. Hunter trainees are excluded from the drinking age right?"

AN: Thanks to Grammarly for helping me make this better.

I hope people like this chapter, as the story grows I continue to take time to consider how everything needs to fall in place. Sorry for the wait! Also, Blake is a bit distant, let's see if Jaune can get her to warm up as their paths continue.
