Chapter 20: Aliens and Beast

'Dammit! Lemme go!' Ben growled as he was tied up by a rope and dragged along by Shino's insects.

'What a drag…' Shikamaru complained at Ben's incessant whining. Meanwhile, Naruto was walking alongside Kakashi at the front.

'Stop being so reckless.' Kakashi said. Naruto's brows furrowed.

'What do you mean dattebayo?'

'Since Sakura's death, you have been acting way too recklessly.' Kakashi explained.

'Kakashi sensei, you can't expect me to stay calm after Sakura died!' Naruto argued back.

'All I'm trying to do is to get you to understand that you can't get hung up over her death!' Kakashi retorted.

'What? You want me to be as cold and unfeeling as you?! A comrade died!' Naruto shouted. Kakashi stopped in his tracks.

'...Unfeeling huh…' Kakashi muttered. Naruto realised what he had said in his anger and his expression softened.

Shikamaru had an annoyed look on his face while Shino looked down. Ben didn't know what was going on but he was sure that this was a chance for him to escape.

With the hold on his rope loosened due to Shino's temporary saddened state, Ben wiggled his right hand to his left wrist and activated the Omnitrix. Then, he slammed down on it, hoping for the best as he didn't know which alien he chose.

In a flash of green light, a molten being with lava flowing all over his body, his head burning brightly and the Omnitrix symbol on his chest kicked Shino with his superhuman strength.

Shino, with his guard down, got knocked out immediately. Ben then burnt the ropes before speeding towards Shikamaru, not giving him a chance to react.

'Crap!' Shikamaru gasped as Ben sent a right hook into his face, knocking him out.

'Lucky! At least I know how to use Heatblast!' Heatblast cheered. Kakashi and Naruto got into their stances.

Heatblast laughed as he shot flames from his feet, boosting towards Kakashi in a matter of seconds.

'Urgh!' Kakashi forced his body down as he didn't expect that and began blocking Heatblast's fast kicks. Heatblast was trying to ensure that Kakashi didn't have enough time to use his left eye. Even though he didn't understand the logic behind Kakashi's left eye, he knew it was dangerous.

'Hiyah!' Naruto attacked with a kunai in hand. Heatblast released fire from his left hand, using it to dodge. Naruto's eyes widened as he was headed towards Kakashi.

Kakashi quickly sidestepped Naruto but because of this, he failed to dodge the body slam from Heatblast. Heatblast slammed Kakashi with the force of tank. This resulted in Kakashi getting a bad burn and going unconscious.

'Kakashi sensei!' Naruto roared. He turned to look at Heatblast, anger building up.

Naruto threw his kunai away before creating five Shadow Clones, using them to sent himself into the air. As Heatblast was able to take aim, the clones began attacking in a synchronised manner, forcing Heatblast to focus on the clones.

'Wind Release: Gale Palm!' Naruto used the jutsu to increase his falling speed as he created another clone.

'Rasengan!' Naruto announced as the all too familiar blue sphere appeared in his right hand.

'Fiery Flurry!' Heatblast yelled as he rapidly sent fireballs at all of the clones, before bringing his aim towards Naruto.

Naruto twisted his body as he brought down the Rasengan. Heatblast clicked his tongue in annoyance as he released a Flamethrower to push himself back, allowing him to barely dodge Naruto's attack.

'Fiery Flurry!' Heatblast roared once again, this time focusing more to increase the size and power of his fireballs. Naruto began dodging all of the attacks by constantly using the Body Flicker Jutsu.

He then ran up a wall, further dodging all the attacks Heatblast was throwing at him. He then spun around, pulling out a new kunai.

'Damn it! Stay still!' Heatblast said in a raspy voice. Naruto closed the gap quickly before striking him with his kunai.

Heatblast seemed to be bad at close-quarter combat and desperately blocked the kunai with his arms. Naruto quickly struck Heatblast's vitals, trying to take him down quickly.

However, that only served to anger him as he slammed his palms into the ground.

'Volcanic Geyser!' He roared. Pillars of fire immediately erupted around Naruto, forcing him to use his chakra to stand as the force released by the pillars was threatening to suck him into them.

Naruto narrowed his eyes as he bent down, focusing. He then roared primally.

'GRAAHHHHH!' A red chakra cloak, reminiscent of a fox, appeared around Naruto. His teeth and nails sharpened, while his eyes turned red with a black slit in the middle. His whiskers disappeared and was replaced by scar-like markings.

'Ah...crap!' Heatblast muttered after seeing Naruto's transformation. In a mere second, Naruto appeared beside Heatblast and smacked him with his chakra hands.

Heatblast got swatted into a nearby wall. Heatblast shook his head, but before he could even stand up, Naruto began his relentless assault.

Naruto punched and kicked and body slammed Heatblast into buildings, floors, and the air.

'Urk!' Heatblast coughed as he moved his hands in front of him.

'Flamethrower!' A stream of fire shot out towards Naruto but Naruto merely body flickered beside Heatblast and punched him.

'Stop teleporting! Heatblast screamed as he smashed into the ground.

'Time to-urk...go with a different approach!' A flash of green light shine brightly. Naruto sped towards the light only to get punched square in the face.

The being that stood up from the light was a black being, with blue lightning running all over his chest. His hands and feet was also covered by blue gloves and boots respectively. He had an black eyemask, blue face, and green eyes.

'Wow!' He said in a voice that was a mix between high-pitched and deep. Naruto stood back up and sped towards Ben. However, Ben only smirked and suddenly, he was gone.

Naruto looked around, surprised. Suddenly, a force struck in the gut.

'Hey! Slowpoke!' Ben mocked Naruto.

'How do you like facing...uh…um...Fast? No...Quicksilver? Nah...um...oh! Fasttrack!' Fasttrack taunted.

'I can see your movements in slowwwwwwwwww-moooooooooo.' Fasttrack laughed as Naruto got up.

'Shut...up!' Naruto roared as he tried to tear Fasttrack apart with his chakra claws but Fasttrack only sidestepped him quickly before running behind him and pulling him towards himself.

As all this happened in a flat second, Naruto got sent at high speeds towards a concrete wall.

'So you're not completely mindless eh?' Fasttrack commented. Naruto stood up once again.

'Hey...go down already can you? I'm bored stif-' Fasttrack stopped talking as he heard the sound of disaster.

'Beep beep beep beep!' Fasttrack began sweating.

'I love you so much Omnitrix…' Fasttrack sarcastically said before running away.

'Come back!' Naruto roared but it was no use. Fasttrack was leagues faster than him.

Naruto calmed down and deactivated his transformation. After that, he walked over to Kakashi and shook him, trying to wake him up.

Just then, two figures showed up.

'Grandpa. Are you sure this is where Ben is?'

'This is where the locator is pointing at.'

'Well, the area is pretty destroyed. Makes sense that it was Ben who did it.' Naruto drew a kunai, being cautious of who the two new figures may be.

An alleyway in Television Town

'Urgh…why do you always do this?' Ben complained. He was currently staring at the Omnitrix.

'I was winning too…' He spreaded his hands and legs as he laid on the dirty, cold floor, taking a rest after that difficult fight.

'Anyway...I got Fasttrack, Echo Echo, Heatblast, Ghostfreak, and finally, Fourarms. Five more to discover.' Ben muttered absentmindedly.

In a certain room

Nepgear groaned as she opened her eyes. In her eyes, all there were was darkness.

She tried squinting her eyes and made out outlines of a door and a bed.

She stood up and tried opening the door but found out it was locked.

'Locked doors huh…' Nepgear raised her right hand and focused. However, nothing happened.

'Gehaburn?' Nepgear asked. Still, Gehaburn didn't materialised.

'What the…' Nepgear then readied herself and got into a stance.

'Hard Drive Divinity: Activate!' Once again, nothing happened. Tick marks appeared on her head.

'Let me out! Let me out!' Nepgear screamed as she pulled on the door handle, trying in vain to open the locked door.

After ten minutes of trying, she decided to sit on the bed as she had exhausted herself. She had a irritated expression.

'I can't transform, can't use Gehaburn, and can't open the freaking door! It doesn't look like there's a window either. This sucks...how did that edgelord even take me down…' Nepgear complained as she began massaging her right shoulder.

Suddenly, she heard voices. It was vague and unclear, but she managed to make out cries of monsters. Then, sounds of explosions, and finally, people talking.

Nepgear didn't know if they were the enemy, but still, she had to take a bet. If they happened to be passer-bys, they could save her.

'Hello?! Anyone outside?! I need help!' Seconds passed. As more time passed, Nepgear got more and more dejected.

'Of course they can't hear me...there isn't even a window in here to let me voice out!' Nepgear scolded herself.

Just when she was about to give up and go to sleep, a miracle happened.

'5% Detroit Smash!' A voice called out as the locked door broke into half. A freckled boy with fluffy dark green hair, large circular green eyes, with a skinny frame, and generally plain-looking, was standing in front of Nepgear, light entering the room from behind him.

'Are you okay?' The boy asked.
