Daichi's POV...Two Days Later…

I grunt, pulling myself out of the hole made by Saji "Dude, I explained to you that you should hold back! You never show your full strength against an enemy!"

The blonde-haired boy grins, black flames coming out of his skin "Oh come on, Dai, you ought to know by now. I will never hold back."

How did I manage to get myself in this situation, you might be asking. To be honest, I think it started about three hours ago before the Rating Game even started. That's what I get for running my mouth. What an idiot I am.

Three Hours Ago…

I grin as Shirone smacks my butt "Damn, trying to get some tail already?"

The white-haired girl rolls her eyes, smiling slightly "Tempting, but no. Rias wants you to get ready for the Sitri/Gremory Rating Game."

I groaned, brushing my hair out of my face "No rest for the weary. And I am ready! I'm one of the strongest people that we know! The only person who could probably cause me trouble is Saji, and that is because it's Saji and he knows me that well!"

Shirone rolls her eyes as Asia walks down the stairs, kissing my cheek "Maybe it's because you're so damn predictable, ya dork. At least do a little bit of training, please?"

I grumble "I'm good, I promise. If nothing else, I can just summon the Dark Excalibur. And I promise Acnologia, Tiamat and I can control it much better now."

Asia presses her lips to mine as the rest of the girls come out of her rooms "Morning, Dai. How'd you sleep?"

I smirk, summoning the Chaos Edge with one go "Who said anything about sleeping? There's a reason I don't want to train now, you know."

Akeno raises her eyebrows "That explains the banging around that I heard last night."

I grunt "I was not that bad, Akeno-chan. I made sure of it."

Shirone rolls her eyes "Whatever."

Before I could say anything, Rias came over, giving me a quick kiss on the lips before growling "Today is the start of the Gathering. I expect all of you to be on your best behavior. I am looking especially at you, Daichi. Before you say anything, you know exactly how you can get with your personality, so don't even bother saying anything."

I grunt as Acnologia and Tiamat snicker "Wow. Thanks, Ri. I see how it is."

Acnologia rumbles "{You and I both know that she's right. Your personality is sewage laced with crap most of the time.}"

I roll my eyes "Gee thanks, guys. I see how it is."

All of a sudden, just as Ophis climbs onto her usual spot on my back, Kuroka transforming into a cat and lounging on my head, Rias grabs my hand, pulling me towards the door "Crap, we're going to be late at this rate! Come on guys, it's not that far so we don't have to worry about teleporting!"

Five Minutes Later…

I sigh, having allowed myself to get dragged across the entire Gremory Territory to make it to the Gathering 'on-time' "So, how long before our first fight? When do I get to fight Vali?"

Rias sighs "I don't know, and I don't know. Now, I'm going to go visit my friend and my Cousin. Be good."

I toss up my hands as everyone goes their separate ways, supposedly to explore "Why does everyone always say that!?"

Before I could say anything else, I could hear a girl growl "I thought I told you to leave me alone! Stop it, I don't want to have anything to do with you!"

The male grunts "Oh really, a Virgin like you doesn't want to know what a good time looks like? Who would have thought?!"

I growl, disappearing from view only to appear right in front of Rias and a brown-haired boy, who were both about to tackle this other guy who was hitting a blonde-haired chick. I grab the guy's face, scales sprouting all over my body as I lift him, showing a few fangs "I believe that this nice lady told you to beat it, asshole. Unless you want to find out what it feels like to have dragon claws rip through your skull, I would suggest that you leave."

As I dropped him, the guy sprinted off, flipping me the finger as he goes. As I return to normal, I call after him "Right back at you buddy!"

Rias sighs "I thought I told you to be on your best behavior, Daichi!"

I shrug "I didn't kill him, did I? Thus, I was on my best behavior. Trust me, if you weren't there though, he'd have been history. I don't like people who can't respect women, especially like that."

The red-head sighs "Well, I guess this is as good of a time as any...Sairaorg, Seekvaira, this is my Pawn, Daichi Fukada. He is the bearer of the Chaos Edge. Daichi, this is Sairaorg Bael and Seekvaira Agares."

I step forward, a grin plastered on my face "Nice to meet you both!"

Sairaorg grins, gripping my hand "So, you're the Chaos Dragon Emperor, eh? I bet you'd provide a good challenge!"

I smirk, tightening my grip on his hand "I think you'd be a good change of pace as well...you wanna fight me?"

Rias sighs as Sairaorg nods "Let's do it! Come on then, Chaos Dragon. I'll show you the meaning of Strength!"

So, right there in the coliseum, we clashed. I summoned the Chaos Edge to deflect Sairaorg's first blow. I knew that I had to be fast before Rias broke up the fight. So, I grin "Scale Mail, activate!"

{Balance Breaker: Chaos Dragon Scale Mail!}

I slide to a stop as Rias sighs, looking off to the side "Why am I letting this continue? Can you tell me that, Seekvaira?"

The blonde-haired girl grunts "First off, I thought I told you to call me Seek-chan, just like when we were kids? Second off, you're letting this continue because you trust your loved ones and you know that they will be fine."

Rias nods slightly as Sairaorg and I are relatively equally matched in strength, me in Balance Breaker and him in his base form "I guess you're right. Sairaorg is super-strong but Daichi is super smart, at times. They are pretty evenly matched…"

I spin around, summoning Yamato to my hand as I grin underneath my helmet "Alright, I guess it's time to get serious! Acnologia! Tiamat! Let's burn some rubber!"

{Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge! Surge!} {Calamity!}

Black lightning shoots across my gauntlets, causing Sairaorg to groan with pain. At that, Rias races up, standing in between us. I grunt as the black-haired boy grunts "Rias, move. We're still fighting!"

The red-head shakes her head "No, you're not. You're done. You can resume your fight if we meet in the Rating Games. For now, you're done."

I groan, returning Yamato to its pocket dimension and letting my Scale Mail fade "Aw, you're a party pooper, Rias. You know that?"

Rias grunts as Sairaorg steps up and bows before walking off "That's not what you said last night. Besides, I want you to save your energy for the rating game against Sona and her Peerage."

I roll my eyes, kissing her cheek "Yeah, yeah. I guess we can do that. When do we have the rating game against Sona?"

Rias looks at Xenovia, who grunts "About three hours."

I grin, lifting the red-head and racing away "Alright, you guys enjoy the fair! We'll be back sooner rather than later! I've got something I've got to take care of!"

Five Minutes Later, Having Teleported Back To The Gremory Mansion…(M-Rated Scene Next, Just Be Aware of That…)

I grin, easily releasing Rias' large breasts from her black lacy bra "Ready for a good time, milady? We've got enough time to enjoy ourselves again, and for stealing my fight with Sairaorg, I intend to enjoy myself greatly."

Rias kisses my jaw, smiling "Well, in that case, maybe I should have stolen more fights from you…"

I grunt, already getting hard. Rias takes notice and grins, leaning down and freeing me from the tight pants "Oh boy, is this just for me?"

I snort, pulling Rias' shirt right-side-up "Wow, I must have done a number on you, damn! Can't even put your shirt on correctly!"

The red-head blushes as we rejoin the group "Well, I could have done it if you weren't distracting me!"

I shrug, flashing a toothy grin "You enjoyed every minute of it, and you know you did."

Shirone raises her eyebrows "Oh, do I have a rival? I'm going to have to do some work with you later, I guess."

I shrug as Ophis crawls onto my back again, nuzzling my neck as she purrs "All I know is that I'm going to enjoy that when it happens. Now then, who do we have to fight? You said the Sitris, right?"

Saji steps out of the shadows, a smile on his face "That'd be right, Dai. You're fighting us. I hope you're ready to lose because I'm kicking your ass to make sure that Kaichou's dream is realized!" Should have just ignored him.

Present Time…

I should have figured that it was Saji's fault, to begin with. That's how it normally goes anyway. I grunt, diving out of the way of another fireball and narrowly avoiding getting hit by an Absorption Line "Dude, calm down!"

The blonde growls "No! Fight me like a man! Use your Balance Breaker! I want to kick your ass and show the world that Kaichou is serious!"

Acnologia growls as Saji manages to outsmart us, quickly trapping us in one of his Delete Fields long enough to attach an Absorption Line "{Damn it! Daichi, be careful. As of right now, you've got more than enough energy that you don't have to worry about him taking too much energy. Sooner or later though, it's going to pose a problem. Just remember that.}"

I grunt, the Chaos Edge glowing "Alright. Do you want the Balance Breaker, Saji? Fine, Shine, Chaos Edge!"

{Balance Breaker: Chaos Dragon Scale Mail!}

Not going to lie, I was kind of playing with Saji. After completing the Chaos Edge and then absorbing Tiamat, I never really took too many people seriously. Now that Saji has managed to outsmart me, attaching an Absorption Line to the Chaos Edge itself, I had a time limit. The longer I wait, the more energy Saji absorbs, the worse that it is. I know that for a fact, so I did what I had to do. I got serious.

Knowing that I couldn't summon Yamato or Rebellion, I decided to go the old-fashioned route. I growl "Dragon Blade, extend!"

The purple energy blade shot out of my right gauntlet and I tried to bring it down onto the absorption line, only for it to bounce off again. Saji grins "You thought that would work? Nothing can cut my Absorption Lines, which means that, while I may go down, I'm taking you with me, Daichi!"

I grin under my helmet, scales forming around my face as my blood started to boil "Well, there goes taking it easy on you. Sorry Saji, but I guess I've got to show you just how outclassed you are!"

I disappeared, reappearing behind him, swiping with the energy blade. While I did miss, it was on purpose this time. I came up with a plan on the fly. As Saji was flying through the air, I wrapped my hand around the absorption line and yanked as hard as I could, sending the blonde my way. As soon as he was close enough, I grunted, my gauntlet turning into a cannon "Sorry, but I've got to make this quick. Dragon Cannon!"

Taking a point-blank Dragon Cannon caused Saji to retire. That's when I noticed the problem. Even though Saji wasn't there, the Absorption Line was still there, still draining my energy. Tiamat growls "{That tricky bastard…}"

I crack my neck, flaring my wings out as I take off, flying towards the sounds of other battles "Tiamat, calm down. We don't have enough time to fight about Saji. Thanks to this damn absorption line, I don't know how long we have before we end up retiring anyway, so we have to make every second count. Now then, Go, Chaos Blazing Paladin!"

{Blaze Boost!}

As my armor changes, I swoop down, cutting through Tsubaki's Mirror Alice with Yamato, just before Xenovia's attack can be reflected. Starting to feel my energy fade, I shot several Dragon Cannons at Tsubaki, causing her to retire as well. As my energy fades enough to drop out of Chaos Blazing Paladin, and almost out of Scale Mail, I launch several more Calamities everywhere. As my vision starts to fade, I can hear Shirone scream for me. My last words were barely heard, but I knew that she knew what I said. As I fall, retiring, I mutter "See ya later...win this for me, Shirone."

(Author grins) "Well, how about that for the next chapter of My Saving Grace? It takes a freaking Yamato to cut through Mirror Alice's barrier. That's pretty nice. Anyway, the next chapter has Daichi awakening two days later, knowing that the next Rating Game is against Valiana and her Peerage. Along with with making Akeno a mate and Irina a girlfriend, Daichi not only awakens his Zanpakuto and Spiritual Energy, figuring out how to use both with his Balance Breaker, but he and Vali duke it out in Juggernaut Drive, and then he asks Vali out on a date as well. The chapter after that is Daichi's fight with Sairaorg, where he unlocks a new form. And I know, the only real form we've seen him use is Chaos Blazing Paladin, but don't worry, that will change the next chapter. Now then, things to do and places to be. You know how it goes.
