It had been a few weeks since the Sports Festival and so far, things proceeded as normal. The only difference being is that whenever anybody in the Hero Class went out in public, they would be recognized and either sung praises for their talents or reassured that they would do better even if they had come short in the festival prior. Currently, it was a Friday afternoon and the kids were getting ready for their Heroics 101 Training as Aizawa and Oboro stepped in.
"Alright, Class, as you have already guessed, you must have gotten a lot of attention due to the Sports Festival, correct?" Aizawa said as the kids nodded while talking amongst themselves.
"Man, just one little festival and we're suddenly celebrities. How crazy is that?" Deli whispered as she leaned over to Mina, who nodded in agreement.
"Because of your performances, you've all managed to arouse the attention of watching Pros. With this in mind, I think it's best if you see for yourselves." Oboro explained as he took out a phone and showed a holographic chart depicting everybodies Internship Requests. Izuku, Katsumi, Shoko, Melissa, and Hana were the ones with the highest number of requests overall.
"Wow, that's a huge number, huh Izuku?" Hana said as the freckled teen gulped, overwhelmed by the huge amount he had received despite only placing 3rd.
"However, now comes a very crucial part of your road to Heroism and that is..." Oboro took a deep breath as the kids all leaned in their seats, anticipating what was to come out of their assistant teacher's mouth.
"...HERO NAMES!"
Aizawa covered his husband's mouth with an annoyed sigh as the kids cheered excitedly. One Hizashi was enough for him after all and he did NOT need another.
"These Hero Names are fundamental to your future careers. You should be very careful about what you pick, otherwise..."
"There will be Hell to pay!" Finished three female voices as Izuku perked up with a smile as Nemuri, Yuu, and Rumi all stepped in while waving. Minori squealed in a fangirlish way while Sero looked away with a shy blush.
"Yup, we'll be observing the Hero Names you pick out to see what can be deemed appropriate. You gotta make yourself presentable, after all!" said Yuu while winking and striking a provocative pose and just like that, Izuku's joy turned into embarrassment as Melissa, Hana, and Ochako giggled whilst Katsumi rolled her eyes with a scoff.
"Whores..."
Everyone in the class was handed a small chalkboard so they could come up with their Hero Names and given 15 minutes in order to finish coming up with a name. If it didn't satisfy enough, they would be allowed to re-work it. After the 15 minutes were up, Yuma twirled up to the front of the class and raised her chalkboard high for all to see.
"My dazzling name! The Sparkling Heroine: LUMINA!"
"Not too bad, really lights up!" Nemuri approved as Yuma bowed elegantly before sitting back down in her seat. Mina strode in next and slammed her chalkboard down.
"Hands off, boys; for I am: ALIEN QUEEN!"
"Wow, total Aliens Fan..." Everyone thought at the same time as Nemuri looked like she wanted to protest but Rumi slapped a hand over her lover's mouth.
"Let the kid have her fun. After all, you had to go through a few tries yourself, sweetheart." Nemuri sighed and nodded as Hana shyly stepped up and cleared her throat.
"I hope I can do this name justice; The Matter Master Heroine: All-Make!"
"Nice, going to honor the name of your godfather, huh?" Hana nodded with a blush as she saw Izuku, Katsumi, Melissa, and Ochako all smile at her in approval. Tsuyu came in next as she showed her chalkboard.
"I've had this in mind since Grade School; The Rainy Season Heroine: Froppy."
Needless to say, everyone shouted their roars of approval as Tsuyu blushed and looked to Habuko, who hid her face behind her chalkboard as she presented her name.
"U-Um...the Gorgon Heroine: Medusa."
"That works too, considering your Quirk!" Izuku pointed out with a smile, causing the snake-headed girl's scales to turn from grey to pink.
"Listen up, you sexy losers! I'm the Volatile Heroine: Ground Zero! Of course, I'd love to go with Queen Explosion Murder, but..." Katsumi grumbled as she saw the looks Izuku's adopted sisters were giving her if she went and chose that violent name instead.
Melissa adjusted her glasses and straightened herself as best she could. "Well, here goes nothing; The Qurikless Heroine: All-Tech!"
"Nice! Going for broke there, huh?" Rumi said while clapping as Melissa shyly blushed while scratching her cheek bashfully.
"Alright, I think this will pass; the Strong Heroine: Battle Fist!" Itsuka said as she presented her chalkboard and received unanimous praises.
"THE GUSTO HERO: GALE FORCE! DO YOU LIKE MY HOT-BLOODED TITLE?!" Inasa all but shouted, nearly blowing everyone away with his vigorous voice. Camie placed a hand on his shoulder to settle him down as she presented her name.
"The Glamourous Heroine: Maboromicamie. Totes cute, right?" The Valley Girl chirped with a wink as everyone looked at each other and nodded, though they couldn't figure out where she came up with that name.
"Adorable! But not as cute as my name; The Blood-Stained Heroine: Vampirella!" Toga squeaked with a bright smile as she and Camie beamed at each other. Setsuna chuckled as she gave both of them pats on the back with her detached hands before bringing them back to her as she flipped up her chalkboard, which had been until now, lying face down.
"The Reptillian Heroine: Lizardy! Like it, Katsu-Chan?" Katsumi blushed and looked away, remembering the teasing nickname she had given Setsuna when they were children, which was now her decided Hero Name of all things.
Shoko walked up with a blank expression as she showed her chosen Hero Name. "The Half-N-Half Heroine: Todo-Chan."
"Cute, but where did you get it?" Nemuri asked as Shoko stole a quick glance at Hana and blushed as she looked away, refusing to say anything else. Ochako gulped as she stepped in next.
"The Gravity Heroine: Uravity!"
"Great! A little play on your surname and gravity, huh?" Rumi said as Ochako shyly blushed and nodded in agreement. Hitoshi just shrugged as he presented next.
"My turn, huh? Okay, here it is; The Mindjacking Hero: Dark Persona."
"Spooky! I'm sure Batman would love it!" Nemuri joked as Hitoshi rolled his eyes in response. Meanwhile, Fumikage and Kuroiro both silently gave their indigo-haired classmate thumbs-up in approval.
"Here's my manly name! The Sturdy Heroine: Red Riot!" Eiko shouted with bravado as she slammed her chalkboard down.
"Sweet! That's a reference to Crimson Riot, huh?" Rumi excitedly exclaimed as Eiko blushed proudly with her fists on her hips.
"He's my Grandpa! Of course that I'm gonna honor his legacy with my new revolutionized wave of manliness!"
Tetsutetsu shot up in his seat with his chalkboard raised as well. "DON'T FORGET ME! THE IRON HERO: REAL STEEL!"
As Eiko and Tetsutetsu were exchanging praises to each other's Hero Names, Iida sighed as he looked at his chalkboard and saw what he had written, remembering what had happened when he visited Tensei in the hospital.
*Flashback*
"Tensei!" Iida cried as he ran into the hospital room where his brother was being held. What he saw made him gasp and cover his mouth to see his brother hooked up and with a respirator to help steady his breathing. He looked in pretty bad shape as a doctor came over and placed a comforting hand on the shocked boy.
"He'll live, son, don't worry. However, he has extensive spinal damage...he may never walk again."
It was in that moment that Iida's whole world stopped. His brother, crippled, never to walk again? It seemed impossible, it was like something out of a nightmare, but here it was; a reality.
"Tenya..." Tensei said weakly as the younger brother approached the older, a look of sorrow on his face as Tensei raised a hand and placed it gently on Iida's shoulder.
"It's okay...it's up to you now."
Sighing, Iida showed his chalkboard to his classmates.
"I made a promise...The Turbo Hero: Ingenium."
Everyone did not go crazy as they gave their friend sympathetic glances, understanding what he was going through at the moment. Iida sighed and set his chalkboard down as the next person presented their name.
Everyone else soon stepped in with their chosen Hero Names, which went as followed:
Momo-The Everything Heroine: Creati
Kyoka-The Hearing Heroine: Earphone Jack
Deli-The Stun Gun Heroine: Chargebolt
Minori-The Freshly Picked Heroine: Grapevine

All that was left was Izuku as everyone looked at him expectantly. Looking at what he wrote down, he nodded to himself, affirming his decision as he presented it to the class, causing Katsumi to look surprised.
"Are you sure?"
"I've never been surer, Kaachan; The Loving Hero: Deku!"
With everyone's Hero Names set, Nemuri, Yuu, and Rumi headed off while bidding the children good luck on their internships and some reassuring words to Iida, since they knew he needed them.
"Alright, since everyone got at least ONE request, it's time for you to start picking out your internships!" Oboro excitedly announced while clapping his hands. After Aizawa passed everyone's papers on who they wanted to intern with, they wrote them down and turned them in. Izuku sighed as he turned to Ochako, who took out the card given to her by Batman and headed over to Oboro, the two of them headed out of the classroom to talk while Izuku turned to listen to who was deciding to go with whom.
"No way! The Lion Hero: Shishido?!" Deli exclaimed as Jurota smiled and nodded while proudly adjusting his classes.
"Yes, the #12 Hero, it was an honor to have one of my requests be from him!"
"Well, I decided to go with the Conduit Hero: Cole MacGrath! I figured he'd give me a few points!"
"Kouji, you're seriously going with the Ancestral Hero: Nightwolf? That's very brave of you!" Sato cheered as he patted his friend on the back, causing the rock-headed boy to shyly cover his face.
"Merci! I shall be going with Uwabami and joining me is Madame Setsuna!" Yuma exclaimed happily with her sparkles intensifying as Setsuna shrugged.
"Meh, figured I'd go with a woman who knows how to strut her stuff."
Izuku was unsure of who to join, which is why he hadn't written his decision yet until a knock on the door alerted him and he opened it to see Toshinori in his All-Might form...in an awkward position.
"I AM HERE; IN AN AWKWARD POSITION!"
"What's up, Sensei?" Izuku asked calmly, ignoring the excited looks half the class was having. The #1 Hero looked around before taking his protege's hand and scurrying somewhere private. As for Oboro and Ochako, they were finished going back inside after finishing their 'talk'.
"Are you absolutely sure you want to intern with him?"
"It's the only way I'll save my parents, Oboro-Sensei. I have to trust him."
Oboro nodded and put a hand on his student's shoulder. "Then I'm counting on you to be safe, okay?"
As for Izuku and Toshinori, the latter was telling the former about a special Pro who specifically requested him; a Pro that once trained Toshinori personally himself.
"Wow, if you're THAT scared of him, he must be pretty frickin' tough!" The Green-Haired Cinnamon Roll said in surprise as his mentor rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.
"I haven't called him in a while...I guess it wouldn't hurt if I came with you, just to make sure he's okay?"
Izuku smiled and nodded as he took his Sensei's hand. "You got it, Sensei! I'll make sure everything works out!"
"Thank you, my boy."
The following week, everyone had begun boarding the trains to begin their set internships. Izuku saw Iida walking and ran over to him with a concerned expression.
"Iida, if you need help, just call, okay? We're here for you."
Iida looked at his friend with a solemn expression before silently nodding and heading for his train. He looked at the card that would take him to where he was going to intern at; Hosu City, where the Hero Killer: Stain was positioned.
"Hero Killer...I swear on my brother's honor...I'll bring you to justice!"
Melissa was sticking back at UA High in order to work on her Support Gear with Mei Hatsume and Power Loader. As the bespectacled blonde was tweaking her Battle Armor sleeve, she dropped her screwdriver and went to pick it up, only to make contact with Mei's gloved hand as the two looked at each other and blushed sheepishly.
"Uh..."
"Could at least take me out to Dinner first~."
Power Loader shook his head with mirth at the sight of his apprentice laughing at the Daughter of David Shield's flustered expression.
"Crazy kid. But, guess that's what I get for becoming her stepfather..."
Hana exited her train with Sero as the two of them were interning with the same Hero, who just so happened to be a special recommender from America. He was currently renting an apartment in Tokyo and as they made their way to the address, Hana knocked on the door.
"What's the password?"
"Um... 'Walloping Websnappers'?" Sero awkwardly said as he read over the 'password' written on the address card. The door then swung open as a young man in his early to mid-'20s peeked in with a smile and quickly ushered the two teens in as they saw he was busy putting on a familiar red and blue suit with black spiderweb patterns a large white spider symbol.
Sero was blushing nervously while having a look of admiration in his eyes whilst Hana herself looked awkward, vaguely remembering the man in front of her from the comics she would secretly read back before the disaster that claimed her family's lives.
This was the #2 Pro Hero in America, the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man himself!
As Ochako got off her train, she saw a middle-aged gentleman with a mustache and black hair standing by a limousine. He opened the door and gestured for her to get in as she nervously stepped inside.
"Call me Alfred Pennyworth, dear. Now, shall I take you to your desired location?"
Ochako gave the card she had been given a look-over and nodded as the limousine drove through town. Soon they stopped as they were parked in an alleyway before suddenly going down as Ochako looked outside to see they were in a cave of some sort filled with high-tech gadgets and a large computer. The limousine then drove down a set lane and parked as Ochako stepped out and looked around in wonder.
"Welcome to one of my back-up Batcaves, kid."
Ochako shivered at the intimidating voice and turned to see the Caped Crusader himself, the man who had come to her back at the Sports Festival to warn her of the danger her parents were in, one of the five #1 Pro Heroes in America; THE BATMAN.
"So...shall we start your training soon?"
And so begins the Internship Arc...
POINTERS
-Yes, Camie has an Official Hero Name and I used it.
-I figured I'd let Shoko make her Hero Name sound cuter while still technically using just her name.
-Yup, you're reading this right, Spider-Man and Batman are both gonna play huge parts in the Internship Arc. I'm not going to go over EVERYONE'S internships because I don't want to take so much time but I will do flashbacks in the later arcs.
-After the Internship Arc is done, I may just do a few Fluffy chapters to show the Hero Classes growing bonds with each other and to really kick off the Polyamory factor.
-Learning with Batman, Ochako's gonna be even more martial arts-crazed later on. She'll also be getting a grasp on her awakened Quirk.
-Yes, Cole MacGrath from InFamous is here as well and he's training Deli. I did do a small foreshadow in one of the earlier chapters but you probably didn't see it.
-While Stain will be important in this arc, the true focus will be on the Clown Prince of Crime himself; JOKER!
