"it's a very special day today."

Twilight sat on her throne in canterlot, a grown spike by her side. twilight looked over to spike, who just commented.

"It's not that special. It's just our annual get together."

Spike rolled his eyes. "sure."

Today also happened to be hearth's warming eve, which was why twilight was excited. They always tried to get together on this day, but something always had them working. But this year, they finally had time.

The first to arrive was rarity.

"twilight, darling!" Twilight flew down from her throne to greet her.

"it's nice to see you." Twilight replied, smiling.

The ponies saw a portal open up next to them. Fluttershy hopped out of it, and discord, who was behind her, waved goodbye. Fluttershy waved back, and turned to her friends. "it hasn't been too long, right?" She smiled warmly at them both. Just then, applejack and rainbow dash walked in.

"it's only been a month, sugarcube. No need to worry." After the group shared hugs, they couldn't help but notice that somepony was missing.

"where's Pinkie?" Fluutershy asked with worry.

"spsst..."

The mane 5 looked around with surprise. then, applejack noticed a white glove motioning her to the door. Applejack was confused, but followed the gesture. She opened the door slightly open to see shadow standing there.

"shadow? What are you doing here?"

"I'm with pinkie. We have a surprise to show you ponies."

Applejack nodded and slid back into the throne room to open the door. Pinkie now stood beside shadow, with something wrapped in a blanket in her right hoof.

"you excited?" Shadow asked her, putting a hand under the same hoof.

"of course I am!" Pinkie whispered excitedly. "They don't know yet." The couple walked into the throne room, greeted by their friends.

"hello guys." Pinkie smiled softly. "we have... someone we want you to meet." Shadow helped pinkie pie walk closer to her friends. The mane 5 surrounded them. And what they saw made them gasp. I

that blanket, is what seemed to look like a cross between pony and hedgehog. Its legs were pink pony legs, its arms were a dark shade of pink, fading into black on its wrists and hands. There was also a red stripe on the arms. It had a hedgehog muzzle, but also had a mane and tail. Its ears were hedgehog-like. it's eyes were big, bright periwinkle.

Pinkie looked up at her shocked friends faces.

"surprise! We have a daughter!" Pinkie pie and shadow whispered with excitement. The main 5 were all turned to silence for a moment.

"But,… how?!" Rainbow dash exclaimed. S

shrugged. "honestly, everypony told us it couldn't happen, but pinkie was able to." shadow put an arm around her. They both smiled.

they were surrounded with smiles, and good friends. It was nice. Pinkie pie looked down at her baby.

"Her name... Is Silhouette."
