Back in Storybrooke (slow chapter)
Regma remembered some of the buildings but there are new buildings that she hasn't seen before, "Let's go to Granny's. It is where almost everyone go to and I am positive both moms will be there." She grabbed her hand while putting the rings in her pocket then ran entering Granny's. The people stopped eating as they heard bell as it opened seeing two strange women into the diner wondering who they are then they continued. Regma still holding her hands to find a booth at the far end then the waitress asked what drinks they wanted, so Regma answered, "Coffee for me and root better for her."
Amari whispered, "Do you recognize anybody?"
Regma looked around the diner, "Nobody yet. New people, but I am sure Granny is calling Ma to tell them about us."
Amari was puzzled, "Why?"
Regma rolled her eyes, "Granny is very suspicious person. Ma is the Sheriff of this town, and this town gossip goes faster than telephone line. So if there anything new or something happened, everything goes straight to the Sheriff. Ma would then call mom to inform her about us."
As the waitress returned their drinks, Regma ordered, "two grilled cheese sandwich for both of us and onion rings for her, please." She nodded writing down their orders. Regma thanked her then turned to Amari, "I miss Granny's cooking especially mom's."
The people kept staring at them and whispering while they ate then Amari doesn't know why or what is going on, so she asked, "Why are they still staring at us?"
Regma laughed as she looked around people, "You'll see. I am sure they would be more alarmed to see us than we are to them."
Amari hates her vague answers then slapped her hands as she held her coffee, "Will you stop that?"
Regma shook up, "Hey! You almost spill my coffee!"
The waitress returned with their food then they ate happily, Amari loved the taste of the sandwich, "This is so good!"
Regma nodded, "I thought you would. This is Ma's favorite."
Amari was startled by that then kept eating the onion rings. Amari stopped midair as a woman who is similar to Regma with tall man with hook besides her with someone else behind them. Regma saw her face then turns her head around to see what she is seeing. Emma Swan, Regma realizes she is not ready to meet her as her chest rises beating hard as her eyes wide. She quickly drew out her twenty dollar bill putting it on the table and grabbed Amari to run out the back door before Emma could notice them, "Let's go!"
Amari didn't finish her onion rings, "Was that Ma?"
Regma nodded leaning against the wall trying to calm her fast beating heart.
Amari still can't believe, "She looks so much like you. How is that possible?"
Regma replied, "Magic."
Amari questioned as she became excited, "Why did you run out? I want to meet her. When will we see mom?"
Regma tries to breathe again, "I am not ready to meet them. I haven't seen them in twenty one years and now here I am. I need time to wrap this around my head."
Amari nodded, "Alright. Where do we stay?"
Regma finally calms herself down as she hopefully that Ma didn't notice them run out, "There is bed and breakfast that Granny owns."
Amari followed Regma to Bed and Breakfast to the front desk, but it wasn't Granny. Regma haven't met her before, "I would like a room please with two twin beds."
The tall woman of black hair and light skin nodded writing on the book, "name please."
Regma is about to speak but remembered her last name is Mills then Ma would come here to check their names as she thought, would she risk it.
The woman asked again, "Name please."
Regma nodded still deep in thought shaking her head, "Right. ummm …. Regma and Amari Mills."
The black haired woman shook up full in shock by their last name double checking, "Regma and Amari Mills, is that correct?"
Regma nodded as she wrote on the book then gave them key as Regma paid for the room for a week. Regma remembered her car then turned back to Amari making sure their rings are in her pocket, "We have to go back to our car."
"Shit," Amari slammed her foot, "Let's go then."
Regma inhaled heavily with her eyes closed as she about to open the door, "Come on. I am not leaving you alone, which is for sure."
Amari sighed, "I really want to go back to that diner. Please! I want to meet her!"
Regma really does understand that, "I know. I do too, but not tonight."
Amari growls to herself started walking towards the car few miles down as Regma slowly walked through the town under dark sky full of stars. She wants to stop by her house on Muffin Street which is around the block, as she looked around to see her white mansion that she loved but she knew it is far off.
They finally reached the car which is in between forest then Regma started driving opposite way from the Bed and Breakfast. Amari was puzzled at the wrong direction, "Where you're going?"
Regma couldn't believe she remembers the way to Muffin Street, "I want to see my home."
Amari nodded quietly.
Regma parked front of the white mansion smiling, "It looked exact the same," pointing at the apple tree, "That is mom's favorite apple tree."
Amari studied the house and it looked huge to her while listening.
"I remember when I was four years old and I got my first bike. I was looking forward to it and I kept asking for one for months. Mom was really scared out of her writs as I started to ride on my own. One day, mom was working in her office then I mischievously wanted to go outside for a bike ride. I sneaked out of the house and I magically made the road to go down instead of flat," Regma laughs as Amari started laughing, "You did not!"
Regma nodded with tears in her eyes, "I did! I was top of the road looking down so enthusiastic. I actually flew down the hill as mom ran outside screaming for me magically putting the road back to normal. She grounded me for a week and took my bike away."
Amari quiet down her laughing, "It must be hard for you."
Regma with half smile sadly still staring at the house, "I miss her. I think about them every day."
Amari looked at the house, "It is dark inside and I don't see a car anywhere."
Regma still looking, "I think she stays at her castle because she is Queen now instead of here."
Amari unexpectedly opened the door getting while Regma freaked out, "Wait! What are you doing?"
Amari with evil smile, "Let's go! No one is around."
Regma got of the car facing her, "mom could put protection barrier around the house. It could be a trap, Amari. Get back in the car"
Amari stubbornly closed the door and started walking towards the front porch then Regma became furious with her slamming the wheel then got out to follow her yelling her with whisper, Amari looked back smiling. She tries to put the door open but it was locked, "It's locked. Let's go around the back."
Regma threw her arms up trying to drag her back to the car, "We cannot be here. It is trespassing and believe me when I say this, mom will know."
Amari shrugged, "If we're careful, she won't."
Regma rolled her eyes still following her around the back, "She will still know! She has the eyes of a hawk or a wolf for that matter."
Amari doesn't care because she wanted so bad to see inside of the house and to see pictures of her. She wants to see what their life could be if she stayed then when she had her hand on doorknob surprisingly it clicked, "It's open!"
Regma's heart beating fast as she walked across the threshold as Amari studied inside of the house, "where is your room?"
Regma looked back, "Before mom converted the guest room to my room, upstairs first door on the right."
Regma looked around and saw nothing has changed except new pictures as both Henry aged then Amari finally saw picture of her mom, "Is that mom?"
Regma stared at the photo as two Henry with mom in the middle smiling showing teeth nodded quietly. She doesn't look like she aged for past 21 years.
Amari was shocked, "She's beautiful."
Regma smiled, "You looked like her."
Amari quietly asked, "So everything is true?"
Regma rolled her eyes just like Regina does, "Why would I lie about this?"
Amari put down the photo back on the shelf then walked upstairs to where Regma said her room would it be, but it looked like a guest room. It looked like Regma had never lived there as Regma entered sadly.
Regma looked in inch by inch of the room to see if there is any clue that she has existed before it was changed and wiped, but it is perfectly clean. Amari has already left looking through the house upstairs. They both heard the car pull up, Regma eyes wide, "We have to go now! Mom is back!"
Amari started to freak out, "I thought you said she lived in castle."
Regma shrugged, "I said maybe! Next time, you have to listen to me!"
Amari rolled her eyes, "Why should I start, sis?"
They both ran out the front door but it was too late to close it when Regina walked in. They both hid behind the bushes as Regina noticed the back door is opened, so she walked over to look outside, but no one is there so she walked back inside closing it. Regma couldn't believe she is seeing mom for the first time. She has dreamed this for thousands of times, but it never prepared her for this. Regina magically turns the light on to see if there anything moved or touched, but it looked like whoever was careful then looked through the house.
Regma realizes her issue then hit Amari hard, "my car is out front! Do you know what it means?!"
Amari shrugged, "What?!"
Regma was even angrier, "Every little trouble since we came here was because of you!"
Amari sighed, "I wanted to know! I have to see!"
Regma nodded growling to herself hitting her again, "Because of you, she knows!" pointing at the house.
Amari started to water in her eyes, "I am sorry! I have to see her. I dreamed of this moment and she is right there."
Regma replied glared back at her, "And I haven't?!"
Amari started want to fight her as her annoyance rises inside of her, "You have grown up with her. You have some of the memories of her, but I don't!"
Regma is tired of her stubbornness trying not to be loud, "That doesn't make it all better, Amari!"
Amari looked back at her into her eyes sadly as she sat back down, "I am sorry. I just want to see her so badly. I always thought my parents died in a fire, sickness or something. I would make up stories to help me feel better. I didn't want to wait any longer."
Regma nodded understanding where she getting at, "I know, but she doesn't remember me. You are not alone in this, Amari."
Amari felt bad then hugged her tightly apologizing again. Regma hugged back warmly telling her it's alright realizing she still a teen.
Amari backed away, "So what we do?"
Regma shrugged, "We are stuck."
Amari eyes crossed, "Why do you say that?"
Regma explained, "I am sure that Emma is on her way while mom waits for her. They both have magic, so if we run through the forest, Ma would chase us then catch us by freezing us or something. If we wait here, Ma would check my car then they would find us anyway. So either way, we are caught. If we walked out front then mom will magically make both of us right front of her within seconds asking us questions."
Amari looked back shocked, "They are brutal."
Regma shrugged, "I told you before. No matter how many you tried, you still cannot create deception towards mom. I know because I tried and I got into trouble every single time. I learn the hard way, literally."
Amari glared, "You serious aren't you?"
Regma laughs, "You don't believe me?"
Amari disagree, "I do not think she would notice us walking to the front since she is probably upstairs.
Regma smiled, "It doesn't matter where she is in the house. She will still know."
Amari hand out to get the key wanting a challenge, "Give me the key. I can get us out of this."
Regma was surprised by her bold then handed her the keys to her car, "Alright. I'll be watching."
Amari shook as she took the keys, "You're not coming with me?"
Regma backed away knowing how exactly this will end, "No, I will not."
Amari shrugged with evil grin on her face, "Watch how this is done."
Regma smiled back at her, "Oh, I will and you will see that you need me to rescue you."
Amari doesn't believe her as she walked around the opposite way from apple tree, not wanting to her to see through the office just in case. She waited few minutes as she watched Regina disappear from the window from the second floor still on the phone. She quietly tip toed to the car quietly opened the door on the other side so Regina doesn't notice her, she hopes. She got in the driver seat proudly as she turned on the key and when she about to drive then she was abruptly stopped paneling the gas but wouldn't drive. She looked down wondering why it is not going then looked up and saw the live figure Regina Mills right front of her. Amari eyes wide as in deer in headlights fully shocked as she thought, it was so close. She noticed the police car pulled up front of the house then Emma Swan got out of the car with Captain Hook besides her. How Regina gets here so fast, she wonders.
Regma hid in the bushes at the edge of the house watching the whole show feeling restless but you got to give her some credit because she bought two people in within seconds.
Regina knocked the window of the car while Amari still frozen with her hands on the wheel as heartbeat loudly through her ears. Regina tapped again to get her attention. Amari slowly opened the door swallowing her throat while Regina crossed her arms studying her up and down, "Who you might be?"
Amari cleared her throat again to speak, but nothing came out frozen in fear.
Emma stood by the car to check inside while Hook walk around the house to see if there is anyone else, "So you're the one who ran out back of Granny's Diner."
Regina felt strange all of the sudden like she knew this young girl from somewhere then noticed how scared this girl is so she carefully affectionately to the side of her arms, "It is ok."
Amari was surprised by the soft touch then cleared her throat again realizing Regma was right all along. She should have waited until the right moment instead of pushing herself to this moment. Regina was dressed in her mayoral black suit as she usually does with short hair that goes above her shoulders. Captain Hook walked back announcing, "I don't see anybody else."
Emma thought it was strange how similar she looked between her and Regina wondering if they are related somehow asking, "Where do you come from?"
Amari still silent looked around hoping Regma would rescue her. Regina was puzzled how she still refused to answer and feels how familiar she is.
Regma from afar knew exactly how she feels as she tries to collect her courage and stretches herself hoping it'll help to give her some confidence somehow. Emma and Hook quietly whispering to each other.
Regma finally gathered her courage got out of the bushes walking towards Amari smiling. Emma and Regina stopped at their track then looked at each other as Emma spoke up, "That cannot be right."
Regma bravely spoke up, "I must apologize for my sister. This is Amari and I am Regma. She heard about the famous Queen and wanted to meet you."
Regina was full of astonishment as she felt that she actually knows her personally but still cannot put finger on it. Emma felt like something is wrong or good, but she cannot decide as she thought to herself.
Regma continued touching back of Amari, "You know how teens are."
Regina nodded decided she needs to let this go but doesn't know why. Emma still couldn't speak as she still studied both of them.
Regma turned to Amari, "Get in the car," Amari gladly got in the car on the other side then turned back to Regina, "it is good to see you," she opened the door spoke quietly out of their earshot sadly, "mom."
Regina didn't exactly hear her, "What did you say?"
Regma silently smiled pointed at her apple tree, "I said I always loved your apple trees when I was a child. I apologize again for my sister."
Regina was confused all of the sudden as Regma got in the car inhaling heavily and Amari still haven't spoken a word. Regma drove back to Bed and Breakfast.
Emma stood watching them driving away, "Do you know them?"
Regina turned back to Emma, "I actually don't, but Regma seems to know us."
Emma nodded, "I got call from Granny's Bed and Breakfast and Captain Hook said that their names are Regma and Amari Mills."
Regina was staggered at that revelation, "They feel awfully familiar."
Emma nodded, "I know what you mean."
Regina replied, "Keep eye on them and thank you for coming even it was unnecessary. Sorry for taking up your time."
Emma smiled warmly, "No apology needed."
Regma arrived at Bed and Breakfast turned to Amari, "It is ok, Amari."
Amari had her hands on her face, "I have never felt embarrassed."
Regma laughed, "It happens the best of us."
Amari turned to Regma, "I am sorry. You were right, I shouldn't done that. I shouldn't pushed myself. I was forcing myself without realizing that I needed time to adjust this whole new reality."
Regma nodded, "I understand. You'll listen to me from now on?"
Amari eyes crossed, "I will do my best."
They both got out of the car grabbing their clothes and stuff walking upstairs to their rented room. Amari jumped on the bed fully exhausted. After awhile, Regma wondered if her magic is back, so she started to practice moving things with flick of her hands, but nothing is working yet.
Amari noticed her hands are snapping, "What are you doing?"
Regma answered, "I'm trying to practice my magic."
Amari smiled, "That's cool."
Regma frowned, "it is not working, though."
Amari tried another way, "What was your first spell?"
Regma answered, "Teleportation."
Amari was surprised, "Wasn't that complicated spell to learn?"
Regma shrugged, "I am probably out of practice or in need of a boost from moms."
Amari thought of this, "What if you don't?"
Regma was puzzled, "What do you mean?"
Amari answered, "What happened at your first spell?"
Regma tries to remember her first spell, "I was with mom and I had a power to teleport anytime and anywhere, so that time is when I got really mad then I teleport out."
Amari listened carefully, "Ok. Why don't you think about mom and that day you were angry? Maybe you need a trigger. Find your inner anger."
Regma didn't realize she has her own smart, then tries to remember lesson with mom, empty her mind, closing her eyes then feel the magic rising in her. Regma remember that day she was pissed off at Ma about her being pregnant with Hope as she spoke loudly, "mom."
The bright blue aura of magic spreading swirling around her unexpectedly appear front of Regina on her back drinking coffee and reading newspaper in the kitchen. She quickly teleported out before Regina turns around but only noticed the blue aura.
"My magic is back!" Regma shouted exciting.
Amari smiled proudly at her big sister, but wonders about herself, "Will I have magic?"
Regma answered, "I don't know. You didn't get their full magic."
Amari looked up from her bed, "How is that possible?"
Regma explained, "We were made from their true love magic, so in order for both of us to develop properly, we need their magic."
Amari tries to understand as Regma kept practicing moving objects successfully as she smiling to herself. She is more in tuned with herself than ever before. She felt so good to have her magic back.
Amari feeling disappointed, "Nothing is ever easy."
Regma felt bad for her, "It will come to you one day, and I am sure. Let's go bed."
Amari nodded as both of them went to restroom to brush their teeth and wash their face. Regma wore sulk soft pajamas and Amari simply wore white t-shirt and underwear.
The next morning they went to the diner to eat breakfast and noticed a young woman who are in similar age as Amari as she walked in to pick up three coffees, Regma studied her thought that this cannot be Hope. Her face is thin like Captain Hook but her hair is dark dirty blonde.
Regma stood up, "Hope?"
Hope looked back puzzled, "Do I know you?"
Regma answered, "I remember you. You were baby when I was 8 years old. Sometimes I would play with you while Emma showers or on the phone listening to citizens about their issues."
Hope studied her then Regma smiled, "You have grown well. Still causing trouble?"
Hope laughs to herself, "I try not to," but she doesn't understand how she remembers her but, "How come I never seen you around?"
Regma answered, "I was adopted out of Boston and I know you're here because Emma asked you to."
Hope felt bad, but laughs, "You know about that?"
Regma shrugged, "It is anticipated. Why don't you sit with us?
Hope smiled warmly, "Sure, I'll be right back. I actually have to give these coffees to mom and dad." Hope was curious about the newcomers so she wanted to know them more. Hope came back and sat next to Amari while introducing to each other.
Regma asked in royal tone, "Did you tell Emma I was adopted when you gave her coffee?"
Hope laughs awkwardly, "You sound like aunt Regina when you speak that way."
Regma smiled warmly, "It is alright. You don't need to feel self-conscious by it.
Amari asked, "Why did she say that you were causing trouble?"
Regma nodded towards Hope, "Hope is a prankster, is that right?"
Amari was amazed smiling, "What do you do?"
Hope laughs to herself, "For instance, one time I put four different color paint into the spiker pipes in school because I hated the principal. Her name is Maleficent. When I was sent to the office because I made mess outside of school on purpose then I lit the fire so the water will come out, but instead of water, it is paint. I got grounded and suspended for a month and forced to clean the school every day."
Amari laughs hard, "I would love to see that! That must be awesome!"
Regma laughed turns to Amari, "You do that in school, and you're dead."
Amari frowned rolling her eyes while Hope laughs then got serious, "Why you both were adopted out of Storybrooke?"
Regma and Amari stopped laughing looking at each other, then Regma spoke up, "It is a long story, so it is not worth discussing. I apologize."
Hope nodded pressuring a little farther, "I understand. How come nobody remembers you if you said you remember me when you were eight years old? I am assuming you were born and grew up here."
Regma answered, "I don't know. I am wondering the same thing myself."
Hope realizes that they are not giving her real answers that she needs to know, but decided to try another way, "Why are you here?"
Amari answered this time, "I needed to talk to the Queen because of Cuckoo Land. Mr. Boo is terrorizing children, so I need her help to find a way to defeat him."
Regma jumped in answering truthfully, "I am hoping to start working in next few days. I am nurse so today I am going to the hospital to see if they have opening."
Hope nodded but never heard of Cuckoo Land.
Regma continued as Hope opened her mouth in royal tone like her mom, "Did I answer all of your questions, Hope?
Hope laughs to herself think it was creepy that how she talks like Aunt Regina, "I apologize, but I really did want to know you both. I didn't mean to make you feel unwelcomed."
Amari slapped her arm smiling, "I am enjoying my stay actually. This town is beginning to grow on me. I think you're coolest person so far I have meet."
Hope felt better as she sighed, "I am glad to hear that."
Regma reassured her, "It is ok, Hope. You would have made a good Sheriff."
Hope smiled started to get up because she needs to go back to classes at Storybrooke University that Regina created few years ago because of Henry and other children who started to grow older. She was supposed to graduate last year but she failed few classes in past two years, so she has to take her classes again.
Regma and Armai ate breakfast then Armai broke the silent, "We need to go see mom about Mr. Boo."
Regma nodded as she ate, "Alright then I need to go to the hospital to see if they are hiring and hopefully Emma didn't do anything to prevent it."
Amari looked up as she drink her apple juice, "You knew that Hope was here to grill us, how?"
Regma started to be frustrated with her mistrust in magic, "I told you already!"
Amari growls to herself, "No you didn't! I still don't understand this land and its people. I do not know!"
Regma calms herself down, "I tell you what, I am positive that Ma is outside waiting for us and would be watching us from the distance because mom asked her to. I know because she is the Sheriff and she will do anything mom asked her to do without a question. That is one thing that both Hook and Emma argues sometimes."
Amari nodded as she looked back to see Ma, but it is too far to see.
Regma explained, "I know this because I know them both pretty well."
Amari listened, "So everything is evolved around magic?"
Regma nodded.
Regma and Amari paid the bill as they left walking towards Town Hall to see their mom. Amari looked around to see if Regma was right and she was. Emma walked out of the office as Hook smiling as they affectionately kissed each other. Regma nudged her to make sure she is paying attention to her walk instead of looking back to Ma. They walked quietly towards Town Hall then Regma stopped for few minutes as she looked around.
Regma smiled to herself and Amari noticed, "What's wrong?"
Regma shook her head, "Nothing. I was thinking."
Amari taken aback, "Tell me anyway."
Regma imagined that day, "I was just remembering when I was kid and I was in pre-school at that time. I begged mom to let me walk alone to here. Actually, I rode my bike from my school to here, but one day I forgot my helmet. The teenagers were out joyriding as I rode across the street. I got hit by a car and when mom heard the car stopped then she ran outside scowling at me that I forgot my helmet, but she comforted and healed my bleeding on my head while I was crying heavily. Later in the evening, she gave me ice cream."
Amari listened to the story, "So let me get this straight, you got in trouble forgetting your helmet while harming yourself, but she gave you ice cream anyway."
Regma laughs smiling to herself, "She's terrific mom."
Amari rolled her eyes shaking her head then she opened the door to let Regma in. They carefully walked quietly as everything looked the same as Regma noted, but few things different as they made improvements inside the building. Regma noticed one thing is different on the door from Mayor to Queen then she whispered to Amari, "it used to be mayor."
Amari asked, "Why did they change from Mayor to Queen? Aren't they the same?"
Regma quietly whispering explained, "I think they changed it to Queen when mom united the realms as you said. So maybe the change happened after."
Amari nodded then Regma turned again towards her, "You're ok?"
Amari shook her head backed away, "What if she will never remember us? What is the point of being back?"
Regma answered quietly, "We are here to give back mom happy ending. She will remember us because I have plan."
Amari nodded straighten herself as she wore jeans and white t-shirt same as yesterday, "I am ready now."
Regma knocked few times then they both leaned closer to the door to hear to hear her, but no answer yet.
Regina stood behind them watching them quietly talk then spoke in regal tone with her arms on her waist in her mayoral suit, "What is this plan you speak of?"
Regma looked back eyes wide and Amari had a heart attack, "You scared the shit out of me!"
Regma slapped her arm, "I apologize, but we are hoping to talk to you."
Regina looked between two sisters noticed one thing is same between them is their hazel eyes, "You two are sisters?"
Regma and Amari nodded at the same time.
Regina walked passed them to unlock the door with her key then walked into the office as both of them followed behind her.
Regma looked around the office as she hasn't been here since she was kid, remembers her time being in office. Nothing much has changed, but only new furniture and new large desk that looks more medieval. Regina watched Regma as she studied the office. Regina felt like she has been in this office before.
"What is it you need to speak to me about?" Regina sat down behind her desk by the window.
Amari spoke up when Regma opened her mouth, "Mr. Boo is terrorizing the children in Cuckoo Land. I was told that you are able to unite the realms. I was hoping you would defeat him and bring Cuckoo Land here so you can watch over them."
Regina seriously deep in thought as she listened, "I thought Mr. Boo is a good man who takes in children?"
Amari was shocked that she has heard of it, "You know Mr. Boo?"
Regina nodded, "Actually I do. Mr. Boo is another magical being like myself, so he created another hidden realm for orphanage children to give them a home."
Amari started to get angry, "You knew about Mr. Boo and did nothing about it? You don't even check on him?"
Regina was confused why she is more upset than usual, "What has happened in Cuckoo Land?"
Amari angrily asked, "Were you ever going to save me?"
Regina quickly stood up then Regma was shocked at her bold question, "Amari, that wasn't appropriate. Apologize to her."
Amari turns to Regma indignantly, "Why should I? She didn't do anything to save the children in Cuckoo Land, so why would she care about saving us?"
Regina have no idea why or what is going on as Amari ran out slamming the door behind her.
Regma cringed as she heard the slam as she started to walk backwards, so she can follow her, "I apologize for her outburst. The past few days has been hard on her."
Regina became speechless and not understanding why she felt so guilty all of the sudden still standing watching Regma leaving the room. Regma ran out of the Town Hall and saw she was only sitting on the bench across the street, so she walked over to sit next to her. She remained quiet to give Amari time.
Amari feeling gloom, "She didn't even bother to save me and my friends back in Cuckoo Land. She knew about Mr. Boo, but doesn't nothing about it."
Regma remained quiet because she knew Amari is not finished, so she let her continue then she looked towards the Town Hall to see if mom is watching them through the window.
Amari angrily, "… I don't know anymore ..." starting to lose for words.
Regma carefully answered, "Not all realms have the ability to teleport to like Neverland since the only way go there is by ship or fly to the star. Maybe mom really didn't know and doesn't have the ability to easily to teleport there."
Amari sat up straight looking back to Regma, "I thought you can teleport anywhere you like."
Regma shook her head, "Well I can, but I don't if I can anymore though. Anyways no, magic has it limits and it comes with a price."
Amari eyes crossed, "If she united the realms years ago then why she didn't united Cuckoo Land?"
Regma honesty answered, "I don't know. You have to give her chance to answer. Besides she does care about the people and us, Amari. She just doesn't know it, yet."
Amari sighed heavily as she listened trying to calm herself.
Regma softly tapped her back, "You do need to go back and apologize to her. Give her a chance, Amari."
Amari nodded as she stood up. Regma stood up the same, "One more thing, never curse front of mom again. She literally hates anyone curses because she believes it is widely incongruous."
Amari nodded, but didn't say anything as they walked back towards Town Hall then Regma rubs her back to reassure her.
Amari knocked this time then heard Regina called out to come in while she does paperwork on her desk. They stood waited front of the desk until Regina looked up and saw that they came back.
Amari bravely spoke up, "I want to apologize for my behavior."
Regina stood up smiling, "It is alright. You'll be surprised how many people have done that, but you're the first to come back and apologize."
Amari nodded straight to the point, "Why did you do something about Mr. Boo?"
Regina asked again, "What happened?"
Amari looked over to Regma to jump in, "She tells me that few years ago Mr. Boo found a way to become more powerful by stealing the children's dreams. So half of the children are part of a cult and other half are slaves."
Regina listened to Regma while watching Amari then she nodded asking again, "Why didn't you do something about it if you knew Mr. Boo?"
Regina explained, "The Cuckoo Land is in another dimension and the only way to go there is by opening portal on the floor by a torch. The torches are special magical item and given to few children to find a way to Cuckoo Land."
Amari finally understood, "If we find this torch, will you go there to defeat Mr. Boo and free the children?"
Regina nodded, "I will look into it as soon as possible," she turns to Regma, "Emma tells me that you were born and raise here until you were about eight years old."
Regma slowly nodded, "Yes, I was."
Regina asked because she knows every single person in entire realms, "Who are your parents before you were adopted?"
Regma doesn't want to lie to her own mom then looked over to Amari as she thought, "I rather not to answer that question."
Regina was puzzled, "Why is that?"
Regma knew she needs to find proof first besides the rings answered, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
Regina with her arms crossed, "Try me."
Amari laughs then whispers without thinking knowing why Hope found it eerie, "You really do talk like her."
Regma glared at her to tell her to be quiet then Amari whispered again, "sorry."
Regina looked the whispering between two of them like they are bickering sisters. Regma backed away smiling pulling Amari with her, "thank you for your time and again I apologize."
Amari smiles still laughing as Regma kept pulling her out of the door, "It is wonderful to meet you, truly. I have been waiting to meet you all of my life because you're legendary where I come from."
Regma slapped her back to make her stop talking like idiot. Regina stood staring at both of them like they are crazy with her arms on her waist.
Regma finally dragged her out of the Town Hall then slapped her head, "What do you think you're doing?"
Amari shrugged not caring started to walk away.
