Anna made her way up to Elsa's room. She stood silently outside contemplating if she should even try to talk to her at this point. She began to walk away when she heard Elsa's voice,

"Come in, Anna."

Confused, Anna opened the door and began, How did you…?"

"I know you." Elsa said plainly, answering the question before it was even finished. "And I knew with how quiet you were at dinner that there would be a conversation coming."

Anna simply stood there.

"You can come in." Elsa said with a slight laugh. With that the younger girl slowly entered into the room; though still remained standing and unsure. Elsa turned away from her paperwork and got up from her desk to sit on her bed looking at her younger sister.

"Did you want to talk?" she began gently. Elsa didn't want to have this conversation, but maybe initiating it and guiding it would quelch Anna's fears (and stop her from continuing to push further.)

"I..uh..I mean, it's…." Anna gently shook her head trying to clear her thoughts and her words. "Are you ok?" she finally stumbled out.

Elsa gave a small smile, "I'm ok." she said with a sigh. She wasn't being dishonest. She had been much better before; but she had also been worse. Anna was simply happy because she didn't use the word 'fine.'

"Would you like to talk about it, Elsa?" the younger girl asked going to sit on the bed as well.

With another sigh, Elsa simply replied, "It's just...a lot. All of it. It's a bit overwhelming at times. Trying to keep up with...everything. And it's hard to not just isolate anymore; to get used to the open doors."

With that Anna gave a sad smile; Elsa knew what she was thinking.

"It's not that I don't like the open doors." she reassured her, placing a gentle hand on Anna's. Relief spread over Anna's face.

"It's just..."

"A lot." Anna finished for her. Elsa simply nodded. "Well, you know I'm always here for you, right Elsa?"

"Of course, thank you."

"You do seem to be keeping your powers better under control!" Anna said encouragingly. Elsa looked down at her hands, arms covered with long sleeves and shame rising in her chest.

"Elsa? Did I say something wrong?"

"No, Anna...not at all...thank you." Anna didn't exactly buy it, but chose not to press. Elsa was speaking and opening up; and it would take time.
