Hey readers, this is a bit of a shorter chapter today but I'm hoping to get a big one up soon. Thanks for reading and I hope you're all enjoying the story.

Yavin IV, Jedi Praxeum, Student Quarters

Tyron's eyes felt heavy as he stared aimlessly out to the lush surroundings of the Jedi Praxeum. Exhaustion was his main companion right now and it had no plans of leaving.
He couldn't sleep, he wouldn't sleep. If he tried to then he would only see Bray. Bray and his suffering wife who he had failed to protect.

Not long after the incident, Jaden and the other Jedi had arrived at the house in a panic. Tyron informed them of what had transpired in their absence.
After they had cleared up the damage the Jedi had hastily made their leave to notify Master Skywalker and the others of what had happened. Tyron didn't say a word to Nayla before leaving. How could he? Even looking at her was too much of a task. He had failed. No words to the grieving wife would bring Bray back and make up for his failure.

Jaden had tried to talk to Tyron during their journey back to Yavin but he was met with only limited, one-word responses. He had wanted to comfort his student but his words were useless; verbal relief was alien to the boy it seemed.

Tyron had gone straight to his room when they had arrived at the Academy, seeking isolation like it was an ally. Edaruk had greeted him upon his return but was given nothing more than a nod.
The Zabrak could sense and see his friend's pain but did not attempt to investigate. The more emotional things of life were lost on Edaruk and he felt if he tried talk to Tyron then he could only make things worse.

Tyron let his mind wander and soon found it focusing on the Twi'leks. The thought of those monsters made his skin crawl. Who they were, why they had committed the acts they had he did not know but what he was sure of was their fate: a painful death by his blade.

"Thoughts like that lead to nothing desirable, trust me on that one kid." A voice spoke
Startled Tyron turned and saw Kyle Katarn waiting at his door.

"Mind if I come in?" the Jedi Master asked

Tyron nodded and turned his back once again

"Jaden told us everything that happened. I'm sorry Tyron. Bray Turick sounded like a good man."
Tyron stiffened at this but said nothing.
Sighing Kyle walked over and stood next to him "I know it's hard Tyron but don't close yourself off to other people. It never does anyone any good."
Met with silence once again the Battlemaster made to leave but not before speaking once again "We've heard whispers about those Twi'leks you encountered. It's believed they've been seen on Nar Shadda. Jaden and I will be going there to investigate so you're gonna continue your training with Corran Horn in the meantime. He's a good man, he'll look after you."

Tyron felt shocked at this information "You're leaving me here while you go find those murderers? That's ridiculous! I want to help take them down."

Kyle winced at the Padawan's tone but stayed firm "I'm afraid that isn't a good idea. It's an important mission and needs clear heads doing the job. I believe your emotions are getting the better of you and your Master agrees."

Tyron narrowed his eyes at this "All he ever does is agree with you it seems. Why couldn't he come here and tell me himself?"

Sighing once more Kyle answered "He felt it was best I do. He could feel your frustrations and wanted to give you time." At this the Jedi Master walked away, leaving Tyron on his own.

More like leave me here so I won't fail again Tyron thought in anguish.

Yavin IV, Jedi Praxeum, Hanger Bay

Jaden was deep in thought as Kyle finished setting up the New Republic shuttle for launch.

"The navigation systems on these things are almost archaic. Whoever designed them must have got their inspiration from a bucket of Jawa juice." The Jedi Master mumbled

Jaden smirked "It's you that let Jan take the Raven's Claw. Maybe being a gentleman isn't always the best way."

Kyle feigned outrage "I'll have you know she said I was sweet for doing that."

Jaden rolled his eyes before turning as he heard his name being called. Looking back he saw Edaruk walking up the ramp.

"What can I do for you Edaruk?" Jaden asked

The rugged Zabrak crossed his arms and spoke "I'm worried about Tyron. He hasn't left his room since you guys returned and I can sense a lot of anger around his presence."

Jaden groaned while Kyle looked back at the Padawan "The kid had it tough on his last mission. He'll be okay but he just needs some time to himself."

Edaruk raised his eyebrows but said nothing

"Seriously Edaruk, he'll be fine." Said Jaden "Just do me a favour and try to keep an eye on him while we're gone please."

The Zabrak shrugged as though unsure but nodded and then left the ship.

Kyle proceeded to bring the ramp up and ready the ship.
"Here goes nothing. Nar Shadda here we come."
