A/N So the guardians have been around since the very first Seer. They've been a protector for the Seer.

"They're still there." Decadence felt her browplate twitch, and it took all her patience and control to not turn on the weapons system and shoot the ship. Or Gala.
"I'm well aware of that Gala." She was harsh in her tone but flicked her doorwings in apology to her sister. Her digits pressed against the holographic screen, before pushing it aside. The screen that replaced it showed her how far from 'Earth' they were, and exactly how close the Steelhaven was.
She was grateful that she had interlocking fangs, as it made it impossible to grind her dentae.
It was no secret to the crew of the Flyer that the sole reason the Elite Guard was traveling to earth was because they were. While she would admit that Ultra was the first Magnus to not be obsessed with the group's purpose, they rest of the planet still were very curious about the ways of their groups. They assumed at first that it was merely a way for noble families to deal with unruly heirs. But many who returned were now bitter, and tended to fight more against their creators. Those who stayed chose to give up their inheritance.
So their opinion changed.
Most compared them to priests that had their ' purpose ', yet had no religion. A family, yet there was turmoil and strife in a way that shattered families.
They were their own, and there was nothing to compare them to, nothing that could accurately describe them, but eventually, after many of them that gave themselves for their Seer, they decided on The Guardians.
Which the Elite Guard then took for their own, until they forced them to change it.
But the history surrounding their group had always fascinated the planet. From the group's humble beginnings with only three members; to their prime with over several thousand; to now, the group scattered and fractured around the galaxy. They used to be the ruling faction; before the Golden Age, before their Seer fell out of favor with their Divinity.
It was the first and only time that ever happened. Even Viv hadn't-
But with all the myths that surrounded The Guardians, it was no surprise that they would follow them to the distant planet Earth. Decadence wasn't sure how she would keep them away from their seer, but she knew it was her purpose to make sure that no harm came to them. If there was any chance that the Elite Guard got to the seer before they did, there was no guarantee that there would be a seer to protect when the group arrived.
While their true purpose was hidden from most of Cybertron, the rest of the citizens knew that there would be a day The Guardians would leave their civilian lives, and would leave for space for a life that they would give up their lives for. The citizens didn't understand why, didn't understand that this is what they had been trained to do; what they had been born to do. So, they packed up their lives, left or brought their families with them, with three discs be carried on the ship.
Those discs were the biggest threat to Cybertron, and most mortal enemies, but they were ultimately solely loyal to their purpose. They would destroy worlds for them if it came to it, end whoever stood in their seer's way. But that was their reason for creation, to lead the seer on the proper path.
The path that their Divinity had given them.
The original Warriors had failed with their seer, trying to keep her on the right path. After the disaster, after their failure , they had stepped in, refused to let them near any other. They wouldn't risk another Reluse happening.
Her gaze drifted back toward the transformed disk's, as they had been for the past while.
It meant that this cycle would be the first in hundreds of millennia that a seer would have access to the disks; to the power they contained; to the loyalty it would mean. Should they fail in their mission, should they fail in their purpose , it would spell doom and disaster for this galaxy. It would mean the end for all of the surrounding galaxies, for this entire universe. Should they fail it would spell doom for all and she would not let some pretentious 'guard' who thought they knew, who have failed the planet, who had failed their Divinity, who'd forgotten their purpose, to ruin that.
Their Divinity had given orders, and they had followed them for millions of years. But now, after being trapped in a war for so long most of the citizens of Cybertron has lost their way. And now that the war was over, nothing was getting better. Poverty was still rampant, and the planet was literally tearing itself apart.
She only hopes that the young seer is ready for what was coming.
The ship shuddered and she managed to keep herself from falling. Was the Elite Guard actually attacking them?
But that was quickly ruled out as her audio receptors picked out the thud of pedfalls on top of their ship.
There was only one thing that could latch itself onto a ship moving at hyperspeed, and the hissings, clicks and growls confirmed it.
Trackers…
There was no hesitation. Hesitation had gotten her family killed before. Hesitation had cost her her spark.
Her digits flew across the screens, the entire ship going into lockdown mode. It split apart, and she could hear the screech of their claws as they tried to cling to the ship. With less bulk the ship was more agile, and she strapped herself in. Those that were her section did the same, and she sent a message to the rest of the sections.
/Shake them off/
/Copy that/
The rest of the sections split apart, and as they passed by her, she could make out the figures of the Trackers on top of the ships.
Trackers. The Original Cybertronian, the Predators of the Planet, the sorrow of their Divinity. Then their own threat appeared, and the Warbuilds and Civilian builds were able to fight them off, with the help of the first Seer. Now the only threat to them was in its most harmless stage, a mere disk until they were united with the seer.
Hesitation cost her everything.
She began siphoning the power from the Steelhaven , and fed it into section 3/7. Haven knew what she wanted done, what was expected of her. She and Mirage needed to protect those disc's until they could reach the seer, and the blue swirl that appeared-
No.
No!
A Tracker was clutching on the back of the ship, its tail whipping to dig itself in the ship. Blue reflected of its plating, and its mouth opened into a roar that hadn't scared her since she was created.
It shouldn't have been able to roar outside a ship.
It was over.
She had failed.
