I just chuckle as I teleport away pulling up my swim trunks. Now didn't the guardians set up base in one of the smaller outpost in the middle of Lastation and Lowee? Guess I'd have to find out.
I'll send out a pulse as I run looking for them. Need to see how well they are doing. They are going to be the protectors of this dimension to be honest.
Once I found their location I then started to stretch. Been awhile since I ran somewhere. I switch me flipflops with my boots and I slide on my pair of gloves. Time to see if I still got it.
I skid to a stop near their outpost. They looked at me cautiously ready to jump into action at a moment's notice. Good they were always ready for a fight.
"It is good to see you all ready for invaders. Though I am not one. It is understandable you do not know me." I say to them as I look down at my boots. I see how they were ruffed up a little. Damn I'm going to have to replace them. Didn't think that run would have torn them up so badly. Though I am faster than I was in the past. I wonder if they have any better ones. These used to be the best they had.
"Yes I am Vanguard Mirage the oldest one among the gathered heroes of the four nations. The Traveler Miku told us you were the one to bring us back to help restore and protect the lands." Her accent was a very old style but she seemed to hold some more grounded understanding of magics looking like one of those Scholarly mages.
"Yes. It worked a lot better than I thought it would to be honest. Though it is good to see you all here helping towards the goal." I say. So far there was 27 of them. Only 23 more to go till Miku runs out of ghost.
"We may be from different nations but this is all still our home." Another mentioned to me.
"That is good to hear. Though I'd like to say. Those smaller outpost that are not with us. Do not engage unless they do something first. If they don't bug us I don't see the problem with them staying. As long as they aren't abusing children anyways." I say to them.
I hear a laugh. "So what I hear is if they are abusing children or cause problems for you their fair game?" Oh I like her she's one of those fight happy ones. But they are fun to get shit done.
"Yes. If they are doing neither I don't see the problem with them being around. I've already taken care of the more trouble ones." I say.
"Alright still good to know we've been mostly just clearing the roads taking care of bandits and what not putting the surrendered ones to work mostly. It's slow but going well." Spoke the leader.. The Vanguard again.
"That is good. As long as you don't torture them I don't see a problem with it."
"Uh is fucking the bitchy ones or the willing ones torture?" Spoke the aggressive one… No fucking the bitchy ones is just showing them their place to be honest. I think I should encourage that to be honest.
"No. As long as you don't tear anything in them." I answer.
She smirks patting a girl nuzzling her crotch. "I don't in fact after a day or so I usually bring them around to enjoying our nice fucks. Course I put a gallon in their guts usually."
"Don't go screwing them too much now. You do have a job to do. Now I'll be going. I'll come by and check on you once in awhile." I say to them.
They give me a nod showing a high level of discipline even though some weren't military I could tell.
Even if they were just adventurers. Everyone gets some type of training or discipline.
It all works in a well oiled system. Wonder how my military is?
Most likely better than it was. Hopefully they don't get too into it. I then teleport away. Which I'm growing way too used to.
I find myself in a bedroom seeing Fluffles snuggling a loli was asleep with sex reeking in the air.
Hmm. Guess she found someone she liked. That's good. If they grow attached to each other. I'll leave Fluffles here with the kiddo.
Fluffles yawned holding her bed friend. "Hi mom...everything alright?.. You need another report?
"No it's fine go back to sleep if you want." I can just look through her tome myself if I need something currently.
She yawned snuggling her would be lover. "Aright. Oh Scrappy and Alex Gardner switched/transferred to Omega's faction."
"That's good. Heard he treats his men better. Well her now." I say snickering a little. "But I'll leave you be for now Fluffles. Just call me when you need me." I say.
She nods and drifts back to sleep. They look cute together. Hopefully things go well.. Urgh me and Omega will likely buttheads and she also doesn't like people fucking with her guys.
Though I did save one of her men recently. Better than staying a fuck doll for everyone.
Should get me on her good side mostly.. Still things are going well. Maybe I can just read up on events for now.
I decided to go to my office to look them up and to finish some paperwork I needed to do. Urgh paperwork was still a bitch to deal with. Now to get down to business.
I sit down at my desk sighing. While I don't do as much. Doing it in general sucks. I started going through the short stack I had while I browsed things on my phone. The internet being set back up a few months ago.
It was still good though I brought up a lot of porn sites back. Once I got done I sigh in relief when I was done. I look back at my phone looking through shadow news which had a bunch of topics though I keep up more so with some political and tech stuff mostly.
I lean back in my chair propping my feet up. I yawn as I scrolled through the list. This is going to be a fun year.
