Two Days Later…

"Are you sure that you can't come with us?" Kagome asked Hannibal

They were at the airport right now, where Sesshomaru's private jet was waiting for them. Last night her little brother Souta's had called her yesterday. His wife (who was also pregnant) was due soon and he wanted Kagome wanted to be there. Of course Kagome wanted to be there for him as so with Sesshomarus' help with the flight, she packed her bags quickly.

"You know that I would love to but with the trail still going on I can't leave." Hannibal said and kissed her head.

He believed that this was perfect timing as he needed to stage Beverly Katz body soon. When the FBI will find her he knew they will informed Kagome sooner or later and she'll know that it was him. It was a big risk but also a test to see if she'll stay or not.

"Be safe. If you need me don't be afraid to call me. I'll be on the next flight right away." He said

"Same here." She said

Hannibal went to bend down to talk to Leo.

"Look after your mother for me, Leo. You're the man in charge now. Help protect your baby sister as well. Promise?" He said

"I will." Leo smiled

He kissed his head and stood up to kiss Kagome once again. With that done the two walked up the jet and Hannibal stayed there till it took off. Now it was time to set up the stage.

Beverly Katz was found the next day by Freddie Lounds and she called Jack. When he saw that it was her he had informed everyone back at Headquarters, not to mention Will as well. Once Will was told about her death he had asked to see her body. He needed to see how it was done and who had done it. Jack agreed as he hoped that Will would know who killed Katz. When he arrived Will looked around as best as he could with the face mask to look for Kagome. He had hoped to see her there but sighed in sadness that he didn't. Once they got him inside Jack got everyone out so he could release him from the straps, bindings and face mask. When he was completely free he looked upon her body and guilt flooded his mind. After shaking it off he went to work.

"I strangle Beverly Katz, looking in her eyes. She knows me. And I know her. I expertly squeeze the life from her rendering her unconscious. I freeze her body, preserving shape and form so I can more cleanly dismantle her. She cuts like stone." Will stated "I pull her apart, layer by layer, like she would a crime scene. This is my design. I will leave no usable evidence. But she found something. She found me. What she found is already gone. What did I take from her?"

He was able to leave his dark mind and returned to the other side.

"It's the Chesapeake Ripper." Jack stated

"It's the Ripper." Will agreed "And the copycat. Same killer, two mask. Beveryl helped me see it."

"Help me see it?" Jack asked

"She was looking for a connection between the copycat and the Ripper." Will informed him.

"You think she found it." Jack stated

"She found something." Will said "Where were you two nights ago?"

"In the hospital. With my wife." Jack said

"I told Beverly to go to you, tell you everything she knew." Will said with sadness. "Instead, she went looking for evidence. She met the Ripper two nights ago, Jack. She...She will be missing organs. He had to take his trophies."

"Who is he, Will?" Jack asked

Will wanted to say the name, he truly did but he knew Jack wouldn't believe him.

"Beverly made her connection to the Ripper. You have to make your own, Jack." Will said

"Then what did I bring you here for?" Jack asked

"To say goodbye." Will said shakily as he tried to hold in his tears. "Where's Kagome? Does she...she knows? Did she see her?"

"I had asked Hannibal and he said that she had went to Japan yesterday. Her little brother's wife is expecting soon." Jack said "I don't know if it would be a great idea to tell in her condition."

Will looked over at Jack with a brow raise. Kagome never told him of her pregnancy.

"What condition?" He asked

Jack hesitated as he didn't how Will would take it.

"Will...she's pregnant." Jack said

Will just clenched his jaw and hands but said nothing.

"So how did it go?" Hannibal asked

He was face-timeing with Kagome as she called to let him know that she has a nephew, Maru Higurashi.

"The pregnancy went well, though Souta and Shippo learned the hard way why you shouldn't look down there." Kagome said

"Not everyone can handle seeing the natural nature of birth." Hannibal smirked

Kagome giggled before covering up a yawn.

"I see jet lag has taken your hold. How's Leo taken it?" He asked

She turned her tablet to the side and he saw Leo passed out on his bed before turning it back on her.

"He passed out the moment we got back." Kagome smiled

"I bet. How does it feel to be home?" He asked

"I miss it terribly and miss my mama's cooking." She said and laughed when Hannibal made a face. "Don't make me choose between your and my mamas' cooking. I won't do that."

She yawned again.

Hannibal knew that he should let her sleep, he only meant to check up on her like he did yesterday but he truly misses her and Leo. The house no longer had that warmth when they were around. Before, he was used to coming home to an empty house as he fine being alone but none that he had them he didn't want that feeling anymore.

"You should get some dear, you and the baby need to sleep." He said

"Alright, I'll try to call you before you go to sleep over there." She smiled "Love you."

"Love you too, Kagome. Good Night." Hannibal smiled

"Good night." She said before shutting off her tablet.

Once she stood up and stretched a little she climbed into her own bed. When she was about to doze off she couldn't help but feel like something bad was going to happen back in Baltimore.

After his talk with Kagome he having a conversation with Dr. Frederick. When he heard that he brought back Dr. Gideon to his hospital he was surprised and very suspicious. Frederick said that it was for Will's therapy but Hannibal didn't believe it so he had asked to analyze Gideon. Unable to say no Dr. Frederick had agreed in hoped the Gideon will say something. Hannibal walked into the room and saw Gideon in one of the cages.

"You don't need to stand way over there." Gideon said "I'm a cutter, not a pisser."

With that said Hannibal stepped forward a little.

"Hello, Dr. Gideon." Hannibal said

"Our brains devote more space to reading the details of faces than any other object." Gideon said "Dare I say, I've never seen yours before."

"I'm Dr. Hannibal Lector." Hannibal said "I was Will Graham's psychiatrist."

Well, he's not a very good advertisement for your abilities, Dr. Lecter." Gideon said

"That remains to be seen." Hannibal said

"I bet you're a devil at the bridge table." Gideon said "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"The pleasures mine." Hannibal said

It was obvious that Gideon wasn't going to talk.

"But now I know your name. Of course, I am aware of you by reputation, and I see why Chilton both reveres you and resents you." Gideon continued on. "Esteem in psychiatric circles still eludes him, yet it clings to you like soap to a baby's eye. He very much wants to be you."

"He should be more careful what he wishes for." Hannibal smirked in amusement.

"And you should have been more careful with Will Graham." Gideon said "That young man has got a bone to pick, especially since his girlfriend is now yours from what I heard."

"As a therapist, I'm concerned with finding ways of overcoming resistance, not building it up." Hannibal said

"Well, you built up something, Dr. Lecter." Gideon smirked

After their talk Hannibal was about to leave. That was until he walked out the front and saw Freddie Lounds taking pictures of him. To his surprise and suspicious it was Will that had asked for her. His questions were answers when he read Freddie Lounds blog. It would seem that Will is trying to contact the man killed at his trail.

Back in Japan…

In their hotel room Leo tossed and turned in his bed as a vision was coming to him. He foresaw Hannibal hanged on pole like cross and the Orderly (from the Hospital Will was in) was hurting him. It looked like he was gonna kill him so he manage to get out and woke up. He quickly got out of bed and climbed on his mothers' bed, shaking her up.

"Hmm...Leo, what's wrong, baby?" Kagome said, waking up.

"It's Hannibal, mommy. Something bad is going to happen to him." He said "I saw it in my dreams."

That got Kagome to wake up.

"Are you sure, Leo?" She asked

Leo nodded.

She quickly got up and started packing their clothes while trying to call Hannibal, to at lease warn him. No one answered so she called Sesshomaru to ready the jet for them as they needed to head back.

At Baltimore...

Will knew it wouldn't be long till his fan come seek him out. Revenge was the only thing on his mind. He didn't know how Kagome would react to this but he believed that this was for the best. Though he was a little surprised that it was the orderly. They had an interesting chat before he took Will to his cell.

"Why did you want to talk to me?" The orderly asked

"I need a favor." Will said

"I'm always happy to do a favor for a friend." The orderly said as he cuffed Will. "Just say the words."

"I want you to kill Hannibal Lecter." Will glared

The man was shocked at first with a hint of glee and nodded before leaving.

Unknown to them Gideon had heard the whole thing. So when Alanna Bloom came by to see Will she also saw Gideon. When he got her alone he told her what Will was up to. With that in her mind Alanna called Jack and went looking for Hannibal. They checked his house and then his office but couldn't find him.

At the Pool GYM, Hannibal taped up to a pole, crucifix style and his wrists were cut open. A noose was wrapped around his neck and was standing on a wobbly bucket. He was angry at himself for letting his guard down and he knows who to blame.

"Judas had the decency to hang himself in shame at his betrayal. But I thought you needed help. Did you know that the phrase "to kick the bucket" came from exactly this situation? You could kick it out right now yourself and it would all be over. Quicker than bleeding out." The Orderly said with a smug look and held up a knife.

"You're a nurse at the hospital." Hannibal said "You're setting a new standard of care."

The man said nothing and checked his dart gun.

"Will Graham is not what you think." Hannibal said "He's not a murderer."

"He is now." The Orderly smirked and bowed. "By proxy."

"He asked you to do this?" Hannibal asked

"What are friends for?" The Orderly smirked "Now I'm going to ask you a few yes or no questions while you still have enough blood coursing through your brain to answer them. You ready?"

Hannibal to a deep breath and nodded.

"Did you kill that judge?" Orderly asked

Hannibal said nothing.

"I can ask you-or-no questions. You don't have to say a word and I'll know what the answer is. The pupil dilates with specific mental efforts. You dilate, that's a yes No dilation equals no." Orderly said "Are you the Chesapeake Ripper?"

He smiled when Hannibal's eyes dilate.

"How many times have you watched someone cling on to a life that's not really worth living?" Orderly asked "Eking out a few extra seconds. Wondering why they bother."

"I know why." Hannibal grunted "Life is precious."

The man smirked again in agreement.

"The Chesapeake Ripper. I wonder what they're gonna call me. You know, the Iroquois to eat their enemies to take their strength. Maybe your murders will become my murders. I'll be the Chesapeake Ripper now." Orderly smirked

"Only if you eat me." Hannibal growled

The man laughed. Hannibal looked up and saw Kagome coming in, gun at the ready. Will's fan noticed this and slowly turned around as raised his gun.

"Ah, the famous beautiful Kagome. Nice to see you again." He smiled

"I knew there was something off about you." She glared "Now you two choices. Either you drop your gun and put your hands up or I'll shot you. Trust me, my ex husband had made an expurt shot."

"As much as I amire the Doves work as well. But I'm here on Will's request." The Orderly shrugged

Kagome shot him in the chest and neck. He made agurgling noise for what air was left in him and fell the ground. Sadly he wasn't done. He lunged towards Hannibal and managed to knock the bucket beneath Hannibal's feet. Kagome shot him once in the head before Jack came in and quickly ran up and save Hannibal from being hanged. Then he told Alanna to call the ambulance.

They were able to save Hannibal from cut and wounds. He had to have a few blood transfusion since he lost a lot blood. When they placed him in his room Kagome and Leo stayed there till he woke up. Kagome had to call home and explained why they to leave early and her family understood. The next day Hannibal woke and smiled when he saw them. She saw that he now had a purplish bruise around his neck and both of his wrists had 2 and a half inches long. He weakly held out his hand and she took it as she sat down next to him.

"What have you gotten into this time, Hannibal?" She asked in a whisper

She knew that if it wasn't for that bruise around his throat he would have said something but was in pain. He just smiled at her and gentle squeeze her hand.
