Chapter XXIV

–Parents & Magic Weakness–

Monday, August 7 1995

HJP's POV

Harry was most of the days asleep in Voldemort's bedroom who would stay by the side lending him magic as he worked or read some book. With the constant time-travel Harry's magic needed constant lending and since Harry couldn't tell the younger-self, Voldemort was taking advantage for Harry to stay with him fulltime.

Harry was barely even keeping up with his studies with Lady Alexa.

"Serpens?"

"Yes?" Harry agreed as he arrived the past after a massive kiss.

"You said once that your parents birthed in the '60s… does that mean that they're going to Hogwarts this year, right?"

Harry frowned as he counted the days and realized that they were today was 1971, so yes today was his parents first-year.

"Yes…" He agreed and could feel Tom's eyes darken. "I…"

Tom's snake-features started to change and then he was Tom Riddle all over again. He took hold onto Harry and pulled him out the office, down some massive stairs and into a massive fireplace. Before Harry had time to react Tom had thrown floopowder into the fire and pulled Harry close to withhold the fall himself.

{Diagon Alley.}

They were thrown in and left at the Leaky Cauldron. Tom looked around and entered the Wizardry street with Harry.

"Tommy…" Harry started, only to freeze at still seeing the town full of students.

"You are an orphan. Did you ever meet them?" Tom asked and Harry shook his head, looking up to the sky. The sun had just set but people were still making the last-minute shopping. "I'll go book us up a table at Perthro restaurant."

Harry turned to look at the older, who smiled back.

"Tom-tom…"

"Spoiler territory doesn't mean that you cannot do it yourself. Although I hope you don't mind, but Winky will track your whereabouts for in case you need. You have been using too much magic because of the constant travels. I can see it in your eyes. And the fact that Antonin forbidden you from Portkeys and Apparations is because it takes quite the strain on your Magical Core."

Harry nodded and Voldemort walked down the road into the restaurant Harry had run to several days earlier in his own timeline. The teenager turned around and started looking around. After a while he groaned and put his hands on his pockets, ready to give up and go join Tom when he felt a parchment in his pockets. Harry frowned and took it out.

Lily Evans lives in Cokeworth, Midlands, England.

James Potter lives in Potter Manor, on the 7 august '71 he was in Isle of the Blessed's playground.

Harry's eyes watered. When he'd return to the future he would have to thank Voldemort big time. It couldn't have been easy to find their exact locations decades after the happening. Harry turned around and run, he was just about to leave the Leaky Cauldron when mid-age Winky popped in and took hold onto him.

"Where to, Master Serpens?"

"Isle of the Blessed."

Winky nodded and teleported him with her own magic. Harry run up the road of the Wizardry street and went up towards the castle until he found it. The playground. And like promised there he was. James Potter. In the flesh.

Harry didn't approach. He didn't dare. Even as he saw his grandparents by the side. Even as he saw they pamper in on him.

Eventually he turned around and gave his hand to Winky.

"Cokeworth, Midlands."

Winky nodded and teleported them. They walked around through the Muggle town and then Harry saw his mother with a black-haired boy by the side. The two talking excitedly about what the Professors had told them about the Wizardry World. The teenager did cry this time and he couldn't blame the pregnancy hormones this time.

TMR's POV

Tom looked up from the newspaper he was reading to see Winky arrive with a red-eyed Serpens. Serpens run to him and hugged him, giving him a massive kiss. Not that he was complaining, but a restaurant of one of his Knights of Walpurgis was not exactly the best place to start a make out session.

"I take it you saw them?" He wondered when his Serpens finally moved back to let them breath. He would so be pounding his young lover hard later when they'd get home.

"Yes, thank you."

Tom nodded and walked Serpens to the round table and offered him a seat, before sitting down.

"I ordered for us while you were out." He offered and Serpens nodded. "Even though I believe that you could pass as off-age because people believe you are older than me" – Tom pointedly avoided the teenager's glare at the mention of their age difference – "I do not believe that with your Magical Core's sickness it would be a good idea for you to drink alcohol."

Serpens' eyes grew and some kind of dread as if he realized something, then he nodded in a mixture between happiness and sadness. Serpens was hiding something from him. Something important from the future by the looks of it. As much as he wanted to make Serpens tell him, he knew he couldn't force him. By knowing the future, he could accidentally stop Serpens' birth and that was the last thing he wanted to do.

The waitress entered the room and approached, setting down their meal. Not once Theodore Nott's wife dared to take a look at the infamous Sire Serpens Black that every Knight of Walpurgis had heard about but none had met except for Jeremiah Lestrange who had seen him once out the corner of his eyes.

HJP's POV

Harry arrived his timeline tiredly, to find himself in a place he didn't know. Groaning, he picked the two-way-mirror only to find himself face-to-face with a Dementor.

Harry froze as two Dementors noticed him and flew at him ready to Kiss him.

{Serpens?} Voldemort's voice asked from the mirror, waking him up from the stupor.

Harry raised his hand with the mirror as he turned around and started to run.

{I've no idea where I am. Hurry. There are Dementors trying to Kiss me!}

Immediately Harry's lightning scar hurt him, followed by the sound of disapparating. Harry stopped running and looked back to find Voldemort appear between him and the Creatures, followed by Lord Jeremiah and Healer Dolohov. Harry run into his adopted father and his Healer as Voldemort let his Dark Aura surround him. When Harry looked towards the Dementors they had actually fled from You Know Who in fear. It was when they were finally alone that Harry recognised where they were.

"Is this… Privet Drive? Why the heck did my decontrolled magic brought me here of all places? I was in Diagon Alley. Why does my messed-up decontrol bring me here instead? This was never home! And why are Dementors here in the first place?"

The Lawyer and the Healer shared looks uncertain as Voldemort finally finished with sending the Dementors away, turned around and pulled Harry close. Harry started being surrounded by the older's Magical Aura as his Magical Core's levels were raised to a more normal level.

"I'll go wake Corban and we both will look into this Dementor attack." Lord Jeremiah put in and Voldemort nodded as he did his best to bring Harry's levels high enough for the Healer to allow a magic teleportation. "My Lord, how many more times will your younger-self forget to send Sire Serpens while inside a Manor?"

"Until I lose my body this is the last time we aren't in a Manor." Voldemort supplied and Harry could see both Lord Jeremiah and Healer Dolohov breath relieved.

Finally Harry's Core was checked and the old Healer nodded, before Harry was taken hold onto and side-apparated. Immediately Voldemort resumed his Magical lending as he took hold onto Harry bridal-style and walked with him inside Lestrange Manor's grounds. Sirius running in their location and shifting.

"His Magic took him into the middle of an illegal raid of Dementors." Tom supplied. "Go ahead and have some chocolate be ready for him."

Sirius looked at Harry, before he run back inside the Manor. Healer Dolohov joined their side, closing the gates behind them.

"Finished erasing your Magical's trace from the town." The Healer supplied and Tom nodded. "How bad?"

"I'm still lending and he is still shivering, you tell me." Voldemort snapped, only for Harry to grab his face. Voldemort looked down at Harry as they entered the Manor and then ahead. "Sirius III is getting chocolate for Harry to eat." Harry's lover added.

Healer Dolohov looked at Harry and then nodded as they walked into Harry's bedroom. Winky and Sirius were already inside with a hot cocoa. Harry accepted it and started drinking it as he was sat down on the bed. The Healer started looking him over until he eventually sent everyone – Voldemort included, much to Harry's amusement at the way the You Know Who had looked affronted at being spoken to like that by his own Knight – out the room.

"All we did was go to Mr Nott's place." Harry put in. The Healer looked back from where he was setting Harry's drink away. "We were returning when we realized the sunrise."

"Which explains why my Lord said this would be the last time. His past-self most likely realized his mistake." The old man hummed in thought as Harry took out his shoes and robe. "Did the Dementors touch you?"

"Tom's voice woke me and put me into motion before they managed to get a Kiss." Harry answered. "But they were close enough for it."

With narrowed eyes the Healer took his wand out, what provoked in a shiver.

"Apologies, if you prefer, I can let my Lord inside but I really need to do a thorough check-up for any side-effects."

Embarrassed at his instinctive shiver, Harry nodded. Healer Dolohov opened the door and let Voldemort inside, who stepped forward and held Harry's hand without questioning what was going on.
