We were planning to adopt Tori until the director and Rumple's mom Fiona appeared. She destroyed the adoption papers. Her actions appalled Jack, Josiah, and me. She made Tori cry crocodile tears. "You can't adopt Victoria. Victoria has a heart defect and dark magic. You told me to look after her" Fiona refreshed my memory. I struggled to understand why I wouldn't want my own child? She needed me but I let her down yet again.
