Author's Note: I do apologize for the lack of updates, this story isn't dead I'm simply… stuck, writer's block, I went to celebration, may the 4th, now I'm opening up costume commissions.

However, in my coping with the stress of life I wanted to kinda free write. Additionally, in purging the clone wars again for references on a damn uniform (and cursing it to Ilum and back), I had an idea, free write, and touch on this relationship before the relationship.
So I'll be writing, and releasing a companion piece called "Life's million moments" to keep with the theme of "life is made of moments" or perhaps I'll call it "A million little Moments" or "A Million Moments" Haven't decided but, I'll let you know when it's up. It'll be pretty short overall I think, based off a first written chapter but I think it'll be something cute.
I also have some ideas of a mini-fic based on the new clone wars trailer, that I may write and come back to this one. This one is gonna get a few modifications from the original path but not too many.

Without further ado let's continue on with this story, a short chapter is a chapter.

Kix, inputting the initial lab results from his female General's lab results, mobile testing was fine but it only told you when there was a life-threatening issue. It didn't tell you all the numbers you wanted to know about a person's overall health. One result was mildly troubling and further testing would have to wait, he needed to specifically test for it and he wasn't sure he had the clearance to do so without authorization. Regardless, it was nothing that would affect the General negatively any time soon nor impact her ability to do her job, he figured it could wait and he could sate his curiosity later.

There was something about being eye level with her men now that made Ahsoka feel a little different, even the day after she returned and was actually standing flat on the durasteel floor in her quarters in front of Rex it hadn't fully set in that she'd grown that much, she'd been pretty close before but now, now it was definitely noticeable. She'd be lying if she said it wasn't a bit of confidence booster to her.

Again, Kix prescribed her to pick up on her exercise so she'd not only learn her new limits and growth but work out the rest of the hormones struggling to balance out in her system. Oh, and he told her to eat these specific ration packs and protein bars he had ordered. Which lead her to get up early and doing drills. Though apparently, it was slightly distracting, which made her smirk. Her regular attire really wasn't all that well suited for several hours of intense workouts in an already too warm environment. So she switched it up, wearing a pair of tight shorts that went to her mid-thigh, and a loose tank top that still showed off a sports bra underneath. Though often, she'd remove the tank top a few hours in. She'd go toe to toe with them, doing a few rounds of drills in the morning, by the second one the tank top was gone, and her skin was shining from sweat. Everything was still a little more sensitive than she'd have liked anyway, so the less fabric the better. Though her marks had healed remarkably fast, there were still some that could be seen on her skin.

Most of the shinies were gaping at her and usually, it'd make Ahsoka a little self-conscious but now, it was the opposite. Probably still the balancing hormones or maybe, it was Rex's reactions of protectiveness and stolen subtle actions of affection just out of site of the others that made her love it. His subtle caresses to adjust her stances, standing just a little too close, it still was driving her mad even a week or so after. The heat coming off him, especially after rounds of drills and sparring was a focus test to be sure.

The clone knew it, of course, he knew it, he knew how she reacted to the slightest of touches or even the lack thereof. He'd taken extensive mental notes from during her cycle on the purely nonsexual ways that drove her completely ballistic. Especially now her being eye level, a carefully aimed breath against her montrals or lekku was all it took for the almost nonexistent tensing of muscles he was sure no one else noticed. The shade of her stripes changing just slightly before balancing out to normal again. It wasn't uncommon for her to just about pounce on him by the time they were back in a private space to shower. He wouldn't ever say he hated it, and would never admit how much he truly loved it.

Another early morning, Ahsoka was sparring while Rex was lifting various weights she watched him from the corner of her eye noting the way his muscles trembled with strain every now and again. Once she finished her sparring match she sauntered over to him a towel wiping down her arms, face, and headtails from sweat. Her tank top clinging to her skin before she just removed it. She sat on the edge of the bench watching him almost idly seeming while Ox spotted for him.
"General," he addressed her a slight nod the only recognition her attention focused. Rex, finished sat up slowly and looked at her.

"Hey there," he greeted and the corner of her lips turned up slightly in a smile. Rex looked at Ox for a minute noting that he was done with the weights for a while. The other nodded and the pair put them back on their racks before Ox went over by Jesse, the two talking before starting their own lift session.

"What's your limit?" she asked him

"About 150 why?" he looked back taking steadied drinks from his water.

"Could you lift me?" she asked and he rose a brow at her.
"I bet I could…"

"Do you want to try?" she asked, her bottom lip slipping between her teeth for a moment.

"Tomorrow," he noted "I've already been at it, I don't want to drop you," he promised sitting in front of her. He grabbed one of her hands, turning it over in his own, tracing the callouses built up from years of handling a saber.

"Then are you done for the day?" she asked with a head tilt

"I think so, you?" she nodded. The innocent expression meant quite the opposite he'd learned that easily.

Jesse watching the pair leave almost didn't grab the bar when Ox needed it he apologized before looking where they'd been before.

"Damn you think they wouldn't still be at it as hard as they are after a few weeks ago…" he smirked

"Don't start." Ox rolled his eyes.

"What, they're like a damn pair of rabbits or something." he laughed "Seriously I'm not crazy you see it?"

"I try not paying that close attention to the sexual tension between my General and my Captain actually."

"Whatever, you're no fun, where's Kano, he gets it."

The next day after their initial warmup drills Rex, as promised, did try to bench press her, it did in fact work rather well. One hand went up under her reak lekku between her shoulder blades while the other, as she crossed her legs, went towards her upper thighs in the middle. She did surely notice the attention and slowly there was some counting to see how long he could go. Turns out the number was 28 before Rex's arms were trembling to the point that Jesse stepped in case he did almost drop her, it'd break his nose for sure. He finally had to stop at 36, Jesse lifting the Togrutan general and setting her back on her feet.

"Not bad." she smiled at him there was still that glean in her eyes that told the Captain she had some other ideas but she didn't voice them.

Ahsoka made a point to spar for a little while and then stretch out, given her, already explored, and continually explored, the flexibility it did draw some attention from most of the men, especially the newer ones.
"So is the General-"
"Do not finish that sentence trooper." Jesse cautioned at Rex glared at the shiny. "We can make those jokes, we've earned it, you haven't"

It was that evening that Ahsoka, Anakin, and Rex formally addressed the new troopers they'd gotten Anakin staying until the end, unlike last time. He looked at the pair once they were alone.

"Feeling better?" he asked and Ahsoka nodded Anakin made a motion and Ahsoka spun slowly around for him to see. "Very nice, I like the new stripes." He hadn't gotten much time to actually give her a good look over before they shipped out.

The next battle was on Dantooine, which was a first for Ahsoka since her return, and she couldn't remember if she'd personally been there, sent to get supplies for them yes, but fought personally on the planet, no.

Didn't change the facts: heavy forest was a blessing and a curse, they got cover but so did the droids. They were trying to get out of the forests and into the less dense areas though it was hard.

"Kriff it…" she grumbled jumping up over their point of cover and deciding to charge basically head-on, into the droids. Anakin was soon to follow with a smirk. While their clones provided cover fire and pushed forward with new aggression set by their Generals. Rex and the others were taking cover on the next line of trees watching them and taking a moment to look on his men, making sure they too were okay.

"Damn, I love this woman." he mused gently in his helmet coms. A clone somewhere gave a reply

"I have the weirdest hardon right now," he was mostly sure it was a joke but Rex glared at no one in particular anyway.

"Keep it in your codpiece." he shot back and thus began the banter. Ahsoka blissfully unaware of the talks while she continued to get them ahead

Didn't take them long to take over the next section, get a better grip and then continue onwards. The campaign was a long one factually it lasted a few lunar rotations. Though it wasn't the worst one they'd been on.

"General Tano is just a light," a clone mused one night "She just has an energy that makes you want to be around her, and around her you're safe. She's just such a force."

"Aren't you sweet." she giggled plopping herself next to them. Of course the men were tired, of course, they were sore, beat up, and done. But the campaign was over, they'd finally won, and now it was repacked and head back to Curosaunt for a reload and then off to Kashyyyk for their next mission.
