The next day after Hannibal's attack, Kagome couldn't believe why Will would go this far. She expected that from Micheal. Unable to believe this she had went to see Will to talk to him. Jack had went along with as he too wanted answers.

"Hannibal was almost murdered, Will. By an employee of this hospital." Kagome said as she stared Will in the eyes.
"An attendant, who we believe is the person that killed the bailiff and the judge at your murder trial." Jack said
"He killed the bailiff, he didn't kill the judge." Will stated "That was the Chesapeake Ripper."
"You know this?" Jack asked
"He told me." Will said
"Then you told him to kill Hannibal." Jack stated
"Nothing I said made that happen, Jack." Will shrugged. "It just happened. I'm not Micheal."
"It sure looks like something Micheal would do." Kagome scoffed
"No, you know very well what he would have done. Taking away something that you both love." Will said as eyes flickered to her stomach.
Kagome looked down in guilt when she saw the sadness in his eyes.
"Is that why…" She asked
Will scoffed.
"I'm not bitter like Micheal is." He said "I would never hurt you like that. But I will always protect you from danger, even if you refuse to see it."
The conversation between Will and Jack continued on. He believes that Hannibal is the Chesapeake Ripper. Kagomes' wasn't surprised that Will has finally figured out who Hannibal is. Though she was surprised when he said that the Ripper had killed Beverly Katz.
'Note to self, give Hannibal a scowling of a lifetime.' She said in thoughts.
"If the Ripper is killing, you can bet Hannibal Lecter's planning a dinner party. All of us probably sipped wine while swallowing the people to whom we were trying to give justice, Jack." Will said and still saw Jack wasn't believing him. "Who does he have to kill before you open your eyes?"
When Kagome got home Hannibal knew that she had found out about Beverly. Her glared said it all and of course she wasn't speaking to him. He knew that it would be awhile before she could forgive him. Once he was feeling better and able to move he started making her favorite meals. This was his way to ask for her forgiveness. Her eyes lit up brightly when he made her favorite dish, Oden. Hannibal couldn't help but watch her during every meal course and smiled when he saw how happy she was.
"I know that your upset with me." He said
"I understand why you did it, Hannibal. She figure out your secret and you couldn't let that happen." She said "I just...I just feel like I'm betraying everyone. This made Hannibal smile with happiness and love. He took her hand as he brought it up to his lips and kissed it.

"Shall we get going?" She asked "I believe the guest are arriving."
Hannibal smiled and placed her arm around his before they walked out the room with Leo behind them. Even Remy followed them around in the house. Mostly he stays around Kagome as he's been feeling the need to protect her and the unborn baby.
Like always the party was a delight for everyone. Everyone loved the music and they bragged about how triffic the food was. Of course all the women congrats Kagome about the baby and wonder if she and Hannibal are gonna tied the knot. The question made her blush but couldn't answer when she saw Alana arriving at the party. Her alpha side was rising up as she didn't trust her and she wasn't the only one. Hours later Jack had finally arrived to the party and looked around. With the thought that Hannibal could be the Ripper he couldn't help but mentally cringed when he saw everyone eating the appetizers. He even saw Alana, Kagome and Leo eating them. Chilton came in and picked up one of the appetizers and let out a small cringe.
"Prosciutto roses. Heart tartare. Beef roulade. Whatever this is. Needless to say, I will not be eating the food." He said before putting the appetizer back on the tray.
"Nice to see you again, Dr. Chilton." Jack said
"Hannibal the cannibal." Chilton muttered "That is what they'll call him, you know."
"Not according to Abel Gideon." Jack said
"Gideon has given me enough trouble for one day." Chilton said "The fact that he lied to you makes me even more certain he was telling Will Graham the truth."
"Why did you come here tonight if you're so convinced?" Jack asked
"Darwinism." Chilton smirked "I do not want him to think I suspect anything. I really shouldn't be seen speaking to you. I don't want to be perceived as a threat."
He walked away just in time before Hannibal looked over and saw Jack.
"Jack. I'm so happy you're here. After all, you are the guest of honor." Hannibal greeted and shook his hand. "You saved my life."
"Unfortunately, my friend, I can't stay." Jack said
Then a waiter with appetizers came passing by and Jack stopped him.
"I would love to take some food to go, if that's all right." Jack asked
"Of course. I'll get one of the staff to get you something from the kitchen." Hannibal said
"No, no. That's all right. Just bring me a container and I'll serve myself from here." Jack said "With your permission, of course, Dr. Lecter."
This made Hannibal slightly narrowed his eyes, knowing well that Will was influencing Jack's mind.
"Hello, Jack. So glad that you made it." Kagome smiled and hugged him.
"Lovely seeing you too, Kagome but unfortunately I can't stay." Jack smiled and started picking the appetizers he wanted. "I do have your permission, Dr. Lecter?"
This replaced Kagome's smile with a frown.
"Help yourself." Hannibal said lowly
"Thank you." Jack smiled
"But before you go I have an announcement to make." Hannibal said before clicking his glass. "My I have your attention please."
Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over towards him. Kagome raised a brow as she wasn't sure what he was going to announce.
"Today I had gather everyone here for another special occasion." He said before turning to Kagome. "Kagome, after what happened, it made me realize how much I truly love you. And how much I want us to be together."
He took little black box from his tux pocket and kneeled on one knee in front of her. Everyone gasp and awe at what was happening. Alana had suddenly frowned and looked down with sadness. Jack and Chilton eyes widen in shock at what was going on. Kagome just gasped from shock.
"Kagome Higurashi...will you do me the honor in marrying me and be my wife?" He asked and showed a five carat ring.
Kagome eyes started to tear up with a smile.
"Yes. Yes, I will." She smiled
Hannibal smiled as he stood up, placed the ring on her finger before kissing her. Everyone applauded and congratulate them. Alana, Jack and Chilton clapped as well but wasn't too thrilled as everyone else. Jack knew that this was gonna kill Will. Alana on the other hand could no longer be around so she just excuse herself and left.

Three hours later the guests have left and Hannibal, Kagome, the waiters and other staff had started cleaning up the place. Leo sighed in relief that it was all over and took off his tie and jacket. He rubbed his cheeks' from the soreness that the older ladies gave him from pinching them. Sadly he wasn't fast enough to get away this time. So while they were cleaning he decided to play with the piano. Hannibal has been teaching him but he was still a beginner. He started to do a few notes from Beethoven-Moonlight Sonata. Hannibal heard this and walked in the room with a smile.
"Bravo, you are getting better." He said
"I still forget a few keys." Leo cringed when he hit the wrong keynote.
"You are self doubting yourself. You need to be convenient, when your convenient you'll feel the music in you. Like with your drawings. You have full convenience when do them because you know you can." Hannibal said "Try again."
Leo nodded and tried it again. Hannibal closed his eyes as he listened to the melody. Every keynote was placed just right. Kagome walked in the room and smiled at the sight. She walked over towards them and placed her hands on Hannibals' shoulder. Hannibal looked up at her with a soft smile before he took her hand into his and kiss it. When Leo finished the ending both Hannibal and Kagome applauded him.
"That's my boy." Hannibal smiled with pride.
This made Leo smiled.
"Thanks dad." Leo said
This made Kagome smile. This was the first time Leo had ever called Hannibal that word.
"Okay...I don't know about you two but the baby and I are tired and it way past your bedtime young man." Kagome said, while she rubbed her pregnant belly. "Come on Leo, bed. Now."
"Aw, mom, ten more minutes." Leo begged
The two just chuckled. Hannibal picked Leo up and helped him to his room. Once Leo was tucked in bed, everything was clean and everyone had left. Hannibal had headed to his and Kagomes' room to retire.
Hours later while everyone was asleep Hannibal was the only one that was still awake. He knew Jack was starting to believe Will and the only one that can prove it was Gideon. So he had to do something about it. He was able to give Kagome an herb tea that would place her in a deep sleep. He didn't want to do such a thing as he knew she would cover for him but didn't want to put any stress on her or the baby. Once he made sure that she was deep asleep he covered her up with the blankets before getting dressed. It wasn't long till he made it to the hospital were Gideon was at. He put on some scrubs, a surgical mask and a head piece to hide his face before entering the room. After he looked around and made sure no one was inside or had any cameras he opened the curtains.
"Hello, Dr. Gideon." Hannibal smirked

The next morning Kagome was woken up by soft kisses on her shoulder blades. Then she felt a hand rubbing down her thighs.

He got up and went to place a sweater on himself before leaving the room. After hushing Remy down he opening the door. To his unsurprised it was Jack.
"Jack." Hannibal said
"Hannibal." Jack greeted
"What can I do for you?" Hannibal asked
"We need to talk." Jack said
"Abel Gideon fell down a stairwell last night. He was hospitalized. The security guard standing watch has been killed in what appears to be another Cheaspeake Ripper murder." Jack said "Gideon is nowhere to be found."
"He escaped?" Hannibal asked
"We know he didn't leave the hospital on his own. His back was broken. He was taken by someone." Jack said "Someone who knew him. Where were you last night?"
"I was here." Hannibal said
Jack didn't believe it.
"Anyone other than yourself that can verify that?" Jack asked
"I can. It was after all a special night for us." Kagome said "What are you accusing Hannibal of?"
"I'm not accusing him of anything, only asking his whereabouts." Jack said
"That's not all you're asking." Hannibal said, holding in a scoff.
He gave a slight glare towards Jack before leaving the room.
