Chapter Twenty One: Yay, Servants!

The Third looked around, trying to decide which part of the body he wanted to destroy first. The heart? The brain? The liver? No, those organs were too vital. If he destroyed them, then everyone would die immediately, and he wouldn't get to see the terrified looks on those mortals' faces! He decided to go to the arm. He scoffed disdainfully when he saw the crowd of mortals there. He knew that some overly optimistic mortals would regard his decision to not destroy the brain first as an act of mercy, but it was not. Mercy was what his pathetic, imbecilic host had. He had none of it. Toward this world, he only felt hatred and anger. He would never let any of his victims die a quick death. Instead, he would hear their screams of pain, see the horror in their eyes, and feel the overwhelming despair in the atmosphere. Ding-dong! Ding-dong! A strange noise jolted him from his thoughts. It was his host's receptor. The cancer cell frowned in annoyance. How careless of him! He had forgotten to take it off! He removed it from his cap and snapped it in two. Then, a rumbling sound came from nearby. A gaping hole opened up. It was a wound. An army of Staphylococcus Aureus burst through the injury.

"Good morning, my little cells! Please enjoy your day, because it's the last day of your lives!" The head Staphylococcus giggled.

"Oh? What is that neutrophil doing here? Does he seriously think he can defeat us? Doesn't he know who we are?" another Staphylococcus inquired.

"I'll show you who I am, you lowly manifestations of Honkai! I am Honkai itself!"

"How arrogant!" The lead Staphylococcus said. She then began to fuse with her sisters, forming one giant Staphylococcus. She tried to entangle the 3rd in her fibrin net, but he sliced through it as if he was cutting through warm butter. He smirked. True, a regular neutrophil, such as his weak host, would never be able to defeat the Staphylococci. However, he was far from a regular neutrophil! He raised his knife. He was going to teach all of them a lesson.

The lead Staphylococcus and her Pneumococcus henchman knelt before the cancer cell. They had been no match for his power.

"Impressive. I sense that you two are quite strong. You managed to keep me occupied for a whole minute." He smiled amusedly. The Staphylococcus could only cower in fear.

"Tell you what. If you're willing to be my servants and bring glory to me, then you can have infinite power and live until the end of the world. So, do we have a deal?" The Staphylococcus and Pneumococcus nodded.

"Good." The third cancer cell began to give his powers to the germs. The Staphylococcus' appearance began to change. When the transformation was complete, he handed her a mirror. She gasped. She looked like a cell! She had long yellow hair and bangs. She was wearing a yellow and white dress, quite different from the dress she wore as a bacterium. It looked like something a cell in this body would wear! Her hands no longer had long claws. Instead, they looked like a cell's hands, with five normal fingers and five normal fingernails. Her henchman had undergone a similar metamorphosis. He now had short, slicked-back purple hair, regular hands like hers, and a blue and white suit.

"From now on, you are no longer common bacteria. Leave your old days with your sisters and brothers behind. I have given you new names: Adam and Stella. You are now half germs and half cancer cells. The powers I bestowed on you shall serve you well in battle. Use them wisely and bring glory to me, your king, the one destined to destroy the world. Now go and destroy, my servants, and don't stop until this world lies in ruins."

By the way, Stella and Adam are supposed to be based on Benares and Assaka respectively.
