Hello everyone!

I hope you are excited for this chapter, its a big one. It gave me more than a few headaches. (spelling errors. they are headaches) Lol. I might have not got them all so if you spot any please do let me know.

"Silver, may I ask why you disobeyed my orders once again and didn't stay put?" Inquired Giovanni glaring down at his son with cold eyes and disappointed scowl adorning his features with his hands behind his back.

The red-haired boy flinched looking at the floor avoiding the man's piercing disapproving gaze, feeling his mouth going dry. Giovanni's eyes narrowed dangerously and with a quick movement of his hand roughly jerked Silver's chin upwards.

"Look at me when I am talking to you," growled Giovanni sneering down at the trembling boy, "Now answer me. Why didn't you obey MY ORDERS!?"

Silver gulped, gathering whatever courage he had, pushing his father's hand away, taking several steps backwards glaring at Giovanni, "I wanted to prove to you that we don't need that pathetic weakling that you are so obsessed with! He hasn't even won a league and is possibly the worst trainer out there! Why do you even want him!? I am more qualified to be the heir than him!"

Giovanni stared at Silver silently for a few seconds before his lips twisted upwards into a hideous smirk, almost looking none human, "You don't get it do you, my son? Ash Ketchum might be a pathetic trainer but he is much more than you can imagine. Have you ever wondered why I never fired those three bafoons following for his Pikachu?"

Silver frowned curiously, feeling intrigued by his father's words, "What do you mean?" Giovanni chuckled, starting to circle the boy, like a predator looking for a weakness, "You see Silver, unlike most Pokemon trainers, with every single region Ash went he managed not only to defeat several organizations but managed to stop catastrophe after catastrophe that threatened the world. Ever wondered why?"

The red-haired boy kept quiet not quite sure where Giovanni was going with this. The dark-haired man decided to continue, "Those three gave me some very interesting information after our mission's failure in Unova. Ash Ketchum is the Chosen One."

Silver scowled in even more confusion, "I don't understand. What does being the 'Chosen One' mean?"

Giovanni's face fell stoic yet his eyes held the pure look of insanity, and with a swift movement Silver suddenly found himself pinned against the wall by the throat, his feet dangling uselessly in the air. Giovanni smirked slightly, tightening his grip around his son's throat, "It means, unlike you who is a nobody and is no use to me, that Ash posses the ability to call upon any Legendary Pokemon in the world and control them at will. With that power in my hands, Team Rainbow Rocket will be unstoppable if he becomes its heir! The world will fall to its very knees after Project Nucleus is activated and the war is over. Do you understand now why you are nothing to me? Just another asset that can easily be replaced?"

Silver felt something stab deep inside his chest, jealousy, anger, and sadness. Jealously and anger towards Ash for being the Chosen One. He felt robbed of his only chance to prove himself to Giovanni. And the sadness of realization that he will never live up to his father, not when Ash Ketchum is alive.

The boy screwed his eyes shut, Giovanni was right he was nothing, "Yes father. I understand." The man smiled, slightly tightened his grip around Silver's throat as a warning not to defy his next words, "Good, now if you disobey my orders again I will be less forgiving in the future. I am letting you off easy this time. But if you do it again I will not hesitate to end you. Am I clear Silver?"

Silver hesitantly nodded looking up at Giovanni in slight fear, his voice was trembling as he replied, "Y-yes father."

"Good Silver. Nice to know we have a mutual understanding." With that Giovanni roughly dropped the boy on the floor before turning on his heels and started walking away, leaving a shaken Silver behind.

"The Tree of Beginning? You know about this place!?" asked Gary gawking at Ash in surprise that his friend knew about it! The brunette had briefly read about the unique structure while studying. From what he gathered from the minimum information there was, it was actually a living organism made up of crystal that feeds on sunlight and it's actually theorized that it created all Pokémon that dwell on the earth, including the Legendaries.

Ash hesitantly nodded, feeling his stomach churn remembering the occurrence events of the last time he was there, "Y-yeah. I went inside it once."

"What?! You went inside?!" exclaimed Gary, staring at Ash in disbelief, who flinched slightly, "That means you know how to get inside! Why don't we check it out Ashy-boy? Besides, I can do some research while I am there! It would be very interesting to investigate such a special place."

"There is nothing special about it. Now let's go!" snapped Ash as he turned on his heels to leave, he didn't want to be here of all the places, honestly seeing the living rock formation felt like a bladed dagger had been driven through him, twisting inside of his chest.

He didn't hate the place.

He just couldn't be here, it hurt too much.

What Ash didn't notice that a certain pink legendary had appeared behind him, tilting her head to the side in confusion and her blue eyes full of curiously. She sensed a familiar strong aura near her home and came to investigate. She was surprised to see the Chosen One, with a few people she never saw before, were with him, one of which had faint evidence of Arceus, Zygarde and Mewtwo's presence on him.

Deciding to ignore it, the small pink Pokemon kept staring at Ash, she didn't expect to see him again. Smiling happily, she suddenly started silently laughing as an idea popped in her head, who says she can't have some fun with him?

Ash was so focused on leaving, he didn't notice that his feet were slowly leaving the ground. Only when his friends started screaming his name brought Ash out of his state. The boy blinked in surprise looking around in bewilderment, "Huh? What's going on?"

Ash quickly paled when he realized he was hovering at least fifteen feet in the air above everyone's heads and Mew was floating in front him, swinging it's long tail side to side, smiling brightly at him. She giggled playfully twirling excitedly around the boy's head.

Ash couldn't help but chuckle nervously at the Psychic-type Pokemon, he guessed she was excited to see him again, but he was still wary of her. Since the last time they met, it didn't end well. He never blamed her, it's just he preferred not to go through that same experience, "Nice to meet you again Mew, but can you maybe, erm, put me back down? We can play later, I promise."

Mew deflated slightly, looking rejected that Ash didn't want to play with her, but she hesitantly complied slowly putting the trainer safely back on the ground. The Pokemon trainer breathed inward sigh of relief, at least his two feet were on the floor again. A new weight suddenly settled on the boy's head causing him to stumble back in surprise. He looked up blinking in mild confusion to see Mew had settled comfortably on top his hat, inwardly Ash sighed in frustration. Great just what he needs.

Humming in thought, Tasha had the bright idea to bring out her Pokedex to scan the pink bipedal Pokemon making herself at home on Ash's head, "Mew, the New Species Pokemon. Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques and is believed that this mythical Pokémon is said to be extinct, however, sightings of it are still being reported to this day."

Tasha blinked a few times looking at Mew then back at the Pokedex, she scowled in irritation at the machine in her hand before stuffing it in her pocket, "Extinct my arse. Whichever scientific idiot said that needs to go to a mental asylum."

Gary was utterly speechless staring at Mew, if his grandfather was here right now he would go nuts over the mythical Pokémon! Just like the Tree of Beginning, the researcher only heard about it, but he didn't suspect that she actually existed! He never thought he would see one let alone witness the Pokemon sitting on his previous rival's head like she had the right to be there.

However, Lysandre wasn't so pleased to see the pink feline Pokemon, sure she looked very innocent and cute sitting on Ash's head but he had a suspicion that Mew had another reason for suddenly appearing out of nowhere. What? He wasn't sure but knew it probably meant trouble. He couldn't help but keep his hand near Pyroar's pokeball just in case. One thing was for sure: Lysandre wasn't going to trust Mew alone with Ash. Especially with the floating stunt she pulled earlier. He almost had a heart attack fearing for the boy's life!

Jessie and James couldn't be less surprised, by now they were used to Ash's shenanigans with legendaries, but they were instead worried and fearful of Mew. One thing they learned is when Ash is with any Legendary Pokemon trouble won't be far behind.

"So, what now?" asked Ash scratching his cheek, not quite sure what to do next. Mew's head perked up at this, she knew what she could do! The Psychic-type Pokemon slowly floated off of Ash's head, glowing a faint white aura while her blue eyes shone brightly. Everyone's eyes widened realizing what she was doing.

"No wait Mew! Do-" Ash didn't get to finish his sentence as everyone was engulfed in a blinding flash. Once it died down everyone was gone without a trace.

Location: unknown

A bright flash occurred in the pacific crystal green chamber, the gleaming gems reflected it's the blinding light, like a mirror. Once it died down, a certain group landed roughly on the ground in a heap of bodies tangled together with a giggling Mew hovering above them.

"I can't move!"

"Ow! Be more careful Will ya Ashy-boy!?"

"As soon as you get off of my back!"

"If you two imbeciles don't stop arguing and get off my back I swear I will come up there myself!"

"It isn't easy Tasha! You try to move with this idiot on top of you!"

"Hey!"

"I got my foot!"

"That is mine, James!"

"Oh sorry, Jessie. Wait if this is yours where is mine?"

"Whoever is moving their foot better stop because they will find it missing soon!"

"Whoops sorry, Carrothead! Hey, I found my foot!"

"Can you please just stop calling me that and get your foot out of my face?!"

Mew was finding this very entertaining, humans always amused her especially in the oddest of situations. But alas, she knew she couldn't watch them any longer. She had important business to do. Deciding to help and time couldn't be wasted any longer, her eyes glowed blue once again and used her psychic powers to lift everyone off the floor, carefully untangling the group from each other.

Once she was done the mythical Pokemon gently put everyone back to the floor. Ash breathed a sigh of relief for what felt like the hundredths time today. However, he froze only now recognizing his surroundings, flashbacks of the chamber running through his mind.

"Where are we now?" Lysandre's question brought the boy out of his state. Ash screwed his eyes shut, feeling his stomach lurch forward, "The center of the Tree of Beginning."

This was where Lucario d-died.

"How do you know all of this Ashy-boy!?" exclaimed Gary, surprised once again. Just what about his rival he didn't know!? Ash winced feeling unable to reply, almost as if the answer was stuck in his throat. Mew gave the boy a sympathetic look before shaking her head, now wasn't the time! She needed to do this!

"Mew! Mew! Meee!" The mystical Pokemon started tugging forward by his hand, causing Ash to stumble forward in surprise not expecting to be dragged by her, "Whoa! Hold up, Mew!"

She shook her head frantically letting Ash go floating desperately around the chamber, confusing everyone inside. Jessie rose an eyebrow, "Twerp, I think she is sick. Did you break her or something?" Ash shook his head just as bewildered, "I didn't do anything!"

Mew suddenly dashed to the top of the chamber glowing blue once again and everything around the group started glowing as well, Gary glared at his friend, "Okay, Ashy-boy since you somehow know more about this place than we do. Can you tell us what is going?!" Taking a slight step back, Ash shook his head, "I, I, I don't know."

Blue energy started sparking in front Mew, swirling and glowing brightly into a small ball. Grunting slightly the pink Pokemon closed her eyes as the sphere grew in size. When it was about the size of her body, she opened her eyes, which was shining brighter than ever.

The sphere slowly started slowly descending towards Ash, who looked at it very nervously, "Y-you want to me to touch it?" hesitantly asked the boy looking up at Mew. She nodded her head, inwardly smiling. Ash was going to get such a surprise! Taking a deep breath, Ash slowly extended his hand towards the glowing and swirling ball of energy.

"Wait, Ash! We don't know what will happen if you do!" exclaimed Lysandre feeling unsure about what Mew's actions. He wasn't sure what she was up to, but he didn't want Ash to get hurt because of it. His hands inched closer to his pokeballs just in case.

Ash shook his head, smiling confidently even if inwardly his insides felt like jelly, "I will be fine! Besides what is the worst that can happen?" Lysandre hesitated before he sighed, nodding, "Okay, but please be careful." Ash nodded before looking forward again, feeling his heart thump rapidly against his rib cage. The trainer took a deep breath, taking the sphere of energy in his hand.

Ash grunted in pain as he felt the energy suddenly travel through him like a hurricane. Everything fiber in his body was on burning, feeling like his skin was on fire. He felt dizzy as everything spun rapidly around him and something else was draining from his body.

That was when everything stopped.

Ash weakly slumped forward, his friend's shouts were the last thing he heard before darkness consumed him.

That is a wrap!

Wondered what happened to Ash? You will have to find out in the next chapter. I was planning on making it on big chapter but well, I got too lazy(we have our days!)
