Mama Yang Hero Academia-27

"So guys." Mina began as she was reviewing over the list of agencies she was set to go to. "Have you decided what Pro-Agency you wanna go for? I mean I'm super grateful that Yang was only joking about turning these in at the end of the day, but we've only got two days to turn this in."

"Mt. Lady's my top choice." Mineta stated.

"Mineta, are you thinking something perverted?" Tsu questioned as she walked by.

"Possibly." He said, sounding horrified she figured him out.

"You made it pretty far in the tournament." Ojiro stated. "It's weird you didn't get any offers."

"I know." Mina whined.

"Hey Scythe, who are you going with?" Uraraka asked looking to her friend.

"The only hero my mom approved of, which I don't really mind, I was gonna choose her anyway. The Dragoon Hero Ryukyu." Scythe exclaimed her body shaking every so often.

"Why, is it because you're both dragons?" Mina questioned as they came to her desk.

"Not really. I was actually planning on going to her agency if she extended the offer, because I'm a big fan of hers, and it's be nice for a change of scenery." Scythe exclaimed. "She's the one who got me into the Festival as a late entry, so I owe her quite a bit."

"Oh, that reminds me, I'm so happy you're able to use your legs again." Uraraka stated. "Even better, you were able to use them again in the middle of a fight, after Todoroki destroyed your medical support gear. That made for one epic comeback."

"Yeah, I guess." Scythe chuckled nervously. "So who'd you end up going with Ochako, or have you not chosen yet?"

"I've actually settled on my choice." Uraraka smiled.

"Already?" Mina questioned.

"What agency?" Ojiro questioned.

"The one that the Battle Hero: Gunhead, runs." Uraraka smiled.

"Huh? Gunhead's a big brawler though. Yeah I mean he can act adorable and be the crazy uncle everyone has sometimes, but are you sure? I thought you were wanting to be more of a rescue type hero like Thirteen?" Scythe asked.

"Yep, he sent me an offer." Uraraka smiled. "Oh that's right, Yang and Blake used to work for him as trainers in his dojo didn't they? You know what he's like don't you?"

"Only a little. I'd sometimes have to sit in the corner of the dojo when they couldn't afford a babysitter, and Melissa was out doing repairs on inventions she sold to clients. I'd sometimes even train alongside their students." Scythe exclaimed. "But Gunhead is a real nice guy. Took me out to lunch every time I was tailing mom and mama at work. You should have seen him when he found out about the Ochuna incident though. He went ballistic, and tapped a laminated picture of Ochuna's face to his punching bag. He's got a real soft spot for kids, and is protective of them as well." Scythe smiled, one of her cat ears twitching, as she shook a bit again. "Though again I ask, why choose him. I thought you wanted to be a rescue specialist like Thirteen?"

"Ultimately that's the plan, but I've been thinking ever since the festival. Well at least since I faced off against Bakugo, that I could have easily been defeated by him. The only reason I won was because his head was in the clouds about impressing Ruby. But if it wasn't he'd have beaten me for sure. So I got to thinking, the stronger I am, the more possibilities I'll have. Plus learning from a battle hero will give me a different perspective. Right?"

"Yeah, and it would also be a double edged sword, in a good way. You'd be a rescue specialist, and know how to fight off enemies." Scythe exclaimed.

"More importantly there's something I've been meaning to ask you all day." Uraraka stated. "Why are you trembling? Are you feeling tired or something, and where'd you get that scar on your eye? Do I need to take you to Recovery Girl?"

"Oh, the trembling is because of exercise. I'm doing a workout that doesn't involve much movement, called Air-Chair. My fight with Shie Hassaikai made me realize there are still those who are stronger than me, and I need to get stronger." Scythe stated. "As for my eye, I got the scar the day after the Sports Festival from an old foe of my grandpa's. He was kind of a tough nut to crack, but I managed to get away from him." Scythe explained. 'Sorry, I can't tell you I went back in time and got it from his mortal enemy, to save Grandpa Toshi's predecessor. It'd be just wrong, and you wouldn't believe me anyways.'

"Seriously, are you okay?" Tsu asked.

"Do you need to go see Recovery Girl?" Ojiro questioned.

"No, I'm fine." Scythe exclaimed.

"Yeah, but weren't you in a fight against a Yakuza Head yesterday? Shouldn't you be taking it easy?" Tsu asked.

"Which is why mom is having me do small stuff during hero training. I won't be participating in the actual activity." Scythe exclaimed as she stopped doing the Air-Chair, and relaxed. "I'm grounded if I try to disobey her. I'll just be doing some basic strength training with weights, possibly train with my new weapon."

"You incorporated a weapon into your arsenal?" Uraraka questioned.

"Yeah, I had Aunt Ruby help me with piecing it together before the Sports Festival, but there's still a few minor tweaks we need to work out before it's actually combat ready." Scythe exclaimed.

"So who was that woman with the copper colored hair, and flew in with Eri, Jack, and Ms. Belladonna?" Ojiro inquired.

"Oh, that was the android I told you about. Her new body had finally been finished the day before, but her weapons systems were still booting up." Scythe explained.

"Unfortunately, I didn't have her original blueprints. So I couldn't recreate everything about her that she had before her original body was destroyed." Ruby said, joining the conversation.

"You built her?" Uraraka questioned. "That's incredible."

"You're like a tech-wiz." Ojiro exclaimed.

"You could become David Shield's apprentice or something." Mina added.

"I'm flattered, but Uncle David doesn't really need an apprentice when he has Melissa by his side." Ruby said.

~Later After Class~

"Hey, Ruby, Scythe, wanna walk together?" Uraraka questioned meeting them at the class room door.

"Sure." Ruby smiled. "Weiss, Scythe, and myself were actually gonna go to Jotaro's Café to do our homework, you're more than welcome to join. Pyrrha and Momo, will be there to."

"That sounds great." Uraraka said with a smile. "Iida come with us… Huh." She stopped her offer when she saw the next Ingenium was already gone.

"Probably already decided on where he's doing his internship. I wouldn't be surprised if he was off turning his forms in right now." Weiss exclaimed.

Just as Ruby opened the door, she was startled as All Might, came sliding and stopping at the door. Though he was bent over so he could be at eye level with Ruby and Scythe.

"Hahahahaha. I am here in a bizarre position." All Might said sounding nervous.

"Yeah what's that about, you're embarrassing me in front of my friends, what gives?" Ruby exclaimed. "An' why are you in such a hurry?"

"Hi come with me a sec." All Might exclaimed, making a, come with me, motion with his hand.

"Uh, sure, okay." Ruby said. "Scythe and I are going to be a minute, we'll catch up yeah?"

"Alright. See you at the Café." Uraraka said, as they went separate ways.

All Might led them to a secluded hall that directed students to the toilets. Figuring it was as quiet as it could get for the conversation they'd have.

"I'll get straight to the point. You've both received an offer from a hero who'd like to take you on." All Might said.

"Well, I've already chosen my internship place, plus mom would have a fit if I chose someone she didn't approve of." Scythe exclaimed.

"Wait, seriously? Don't tell me it's…"

"Yes, the Hero's Name is, Gran-Torino. He taught at this school back in my day, but only for one year, in fact the man was my homeroom teacher. Though he looks quite different than you remember him from way back then, Scythe."

"Yep. I figured it would be him."

"He knows about One-for-All, as well. Actually I suspect that's the reason he asked for you." All Might exclaimed.

"I wonder if he's still as awesome as when I first met him." Scythe thought. "Wait, so he knows how your Quirk works, to? I never knew that. Guess I should have figured since he's Shimura's sworn friend."

"He retired a long time ago, so I forget to count him among the people who know." All Might exclaimed as his legs were shaking. "Is this because I wrote about you in the letter I sent him? I doubt he watched the festival and think my teaching was inadequate since you were taken out during the Cavalry Battle, Ruby. Then he went so far as to use his old hero name when making the offer, scary too scary. Damn it legs stop shaking." He said slapping his legs, to get them to stop, but their shaking was only getting worse.

"He didn't seem like that bad of a guy when I met him in the past." Scythe exclaimed.

"You were never trained by him." All Might exclaimed. "Anyway, it is my duty to train you both, but since he sent the offer, you should work with him this week if that's what your heart says. Anyway h-he-here's t-th-the a-ad-address." All Might said, shakily handing Ruby a piece of paper.

"Just how scary is his training?" Scythe questioned. "I'm glad I'm going to Ryukyu's Agency if Torino's is this scary."

Meanwhile in the teacher's lounge, Yang was looking over some of the internship papers that had already been submitted.

"Internships huh?" Snipe asked, coming up behind her.

"Yeah, a few students already chose where they were going. Though I'm a bit concerned with where Iida wants to go. It's the same city his brother was attacked in. Poor guy probably has some anger to deal with." Yang exclaimed.

"Well, he might just be wanting to apply there to get a sense of his brother's influence on the people." Snipe suggested.

"Yeah, but I have a gut feeling, it's more than just that." Yang sighed.

"Well, there's not much that can be done about it. Looks like it's the only one he put down, and we can't really force a change, unless it's absolutely called for." Snipe stated. "Make sure your students choose wisely, there are plenty of third years who regret their decisions."

"Oh that reminds me, I've gotta give Yu a call." Yang said, pulling out her scroll. "Mineta chose her as his only option, and knowing him he's wanting to do something perverted to her."

"So you're gonna have Mt. Lady work him to the bone?" Snipe inquired.

"You could say that." Yang said with a chuckle.

~Café Dragon sometime later~

"So, is anybody uncertain about this problem right here?" Momo inquired as the group sat in a booth, doing their homework.

"I'm not too sure on how the formula would equate to this equation." Scythe exclaimed. "I mean it's not even the same equation of our hero subjects, but it still fits?"

"It's a variation of mathematics and hero work. If a runaway train is traveling at speeds greater than 320Kph, and the speedster hero's top speed is 295Kph, where on the diagram would they intercede one another for the hero to act, and what time as well?" Momo questioned.

"Why bother? I'll just call Barry, he can run so fast he can travel back in time." Scythe exclaimed.

"No Scythe this is just to learn math, the concept of involving a heroic situation is supposed to try and make it more interesting." Pyrrha exclaimed.

"I know, it's just so boring." Scythe groaned, planting her head on the table.

"Don't give up just yet sweetie. I'm sure you'll get through it." Hikage said putting a milkshake down in front of her.

"Thanks Aunt Hikage." Scythe said with a smile. "How are the twins?" Scythe asked, putting a hand on Hikage's protruding belly, feeling one kick against her hand.

"Oh they're just fine. I'm more concerned about how you're able to keep up with your studies. I mean you did fall behind a bit before the Sports Festival." Hikage said, placing a hand over Scythe's.

"I caught up real quick, grades aren't perfect, but I'm trying." Scythe sighed.

"Should you really be working though? You look like you're about to pop." Uraraka stated.

"I'll be fine. I don't hit my actual due date for a couple more months." Hikage exclaimed. "Though Jotaro is only having me do small stuff. Doesn't want me to go into early labor."

"You can't blame the guy for being a concerned father." Weiss stated. "Wish I knew what that felt like."

"Hey c'mon now, I'm sure Mr. Bakugo is a great dad." Ruby stated.

"He's a bit spineless, but yeah, he can be a great dad at times." Weiss exclaimed. "I'm just talking about when I was a child. I wanna know what it felt like to have a caring father. I know what it's like having a caring mother, but… my father wasn't the nicest person around, I'd even go so far as to say he was villainous. The only thing he got mad about when my brother died, was that he didn't have a contingency plan for when I failed to live up to his ideal legacy of the family name."

"A name he married into if I'm not mistaken." Pyrrha stated.

"Indeed. He confessed right at my tenth birthday party to my mother, that he only married her for the family name. That was when the family began to fall apart. My brother even tried doing everything he could to ensure he inherited the company instead of me. His ego was so big, he thought he couldn't be touched, but that was proven wrong, when he blew up right alongside the suicide bomber who grabbed him. Only an ear, was all that remained to bury him." Weiss explained picking up her coffee cup. "If I'm being honest. I wish I had been born into the Bakugo family instead of the Schnee."

"Yikes." Uraraka stated. "You said company, your elegance and mannerisms say a lot about you, sorta like Iida's do for him. Was your family originally rich?"

"We were, though after my father took over the company, the money that was used to build our fortune, was blood money. He didn't care what happened to his workers, and silenced anyone who spoke out against him." Weiss stated. "While, I just blindly accepted him like the puppet I was."

"You know, if you're wanting to make the bond between you and the Bakugo family official, I could ask Gwen and Venom to do for you what they did for Eri." Hikage exclaimed.

"What's she talking about?" Uraraka questioned.

"As a symbiote, Venom has the ability to change someone's DNA at the molecular level. They actually made Eri a biological member of the family, just to help her adjust and feel more comfortable with being in the family. We're blood sisters now." Scythe smiled. "But blood only makes you related, it's loyalty that makes you family."

"That's true." Ruby chuckled. "They haven't done the same thing for Jack though. They've respected my request on not making that happen, until I find someone who would be fine with dating me, being Jack's adoptive mother. She's even convinced herself that dad is her grandpa as well. It's a bit embarrassing but still, I'm glad she's happy."

"So what do you say?" Hikage questioned.

"I'd have to ask Mitsuki about it first. Hold on." Weiss said, pulling out her phone and heading for a quiet place to talk.

"So anything else I can get the rest of you?" Hikage questioned.

"I'll have another milkshake please." Scythe exclaimed.

"Damn, you're really packing away everything with sugar and caffeine lately aren't you?" Uraraka questioned.

"Scythe, are you still having nightmares?" Ruby asked.

"Um…" Scythe paused, looking away.

"Hold on, nightmares?" Momo questioned.

"When I saw Scythe a year ago, she had been suffering from PTSD for a while, and was barely getting any sleep due to nightmares she'd have that haunted her dreams. Have Yang and Blake not gotten you treatment for those yet? I know you had a meeting scheduled the day I last saw you." Ruby said, addressing Momo's question, then Scythe.

"Things have been a little hectic so… we haven't really had an opportunity for it." Scythe exclaimed.

"Scythe, have you been forcing yourself to stay awake every night so you don't have any nightmares?" Pyrrha questioned.

"Um… maybe." Scythe said looking a bit embarrassed.

"Alright. I'm talking with Yang about getting you some professional help." Ruby said, gathering her books together. "Sorry girls but Scythe and I are gonna have to cut this study session short."

"Of course. We understand." Uraraka stated.

"We'll see you at the Agency, alright Pyrrha?" Ruby asked.

"See you."

"Why the Agency?" Momo inquired as Ruby dragged Scythe away.

"During the attack from Shie Hassaikai yesterday, our home was completely destroyed. There was nothing left standing but part of a few walls." Pyrrha exclaimed.

"Really? So, you're all living at Huntress Agency then?" Uraraka asked.

"Just until we can find someplace else to live. Preferably close to both U.A and Huntress Agency." Pyrrha stated.

"I'm back, Mitsuki said if it was possible, she'd love for it to be done." Weiss stated, coming back to her seat. "Where'd Ruby and Scythe go?"

"It's a story." Uraraka said with a chuckle.

~Huntress Agency Upper Floors~

"Yeah, yeah sounds good… Great, we'll be by to check out the house tomorrow." Blake said, speaking to someone on the phone, before hanging up. "Well that was fast."

"I'm back babe." Yang said coming through the doors of the living area on the upper floors.

"Hey, how was your final day as a teacher?" Blake asked.

"It was exhausting. But fun, since I got to help the others with choosing hero names. Weiss, Ruby, and Scythe all came up with clever ones. Well not so much clever for Scythe. She just put down the name of her power." Yang chuckled, sitting down in the chair.

"She's gonna be known as Godslayer?" Blake asked, sitting next to Yang.

"Yep. I think it's pretty cool." Yang stated. "How was Shimura's first day?"

"Good. It didn't take her long to get accustomed to all the new tech around." Blake explained. "We've got an appointment with a relater tomorrow. They're showing us that house we agreed on in the catalog."

"Sweet. If we get that house, there will be plenty of room for everyone, and then some." Yang smiled.

"Yang, Blake. We need to talk." Ruby said, bursting into the living area of the Agency's upper floors, dragging Scythe along.

"What is it Ruby? Did Scythe try being a vigilante again?" Yang questioned.

"No. But this is something important." Ruby stated. "Scythe is still having nightmares."

"What? But that can't be true, she's been sleeping soundly every night, for the last several months." Blake stated.

"She pretends she's sleeping, when in reality, she's still awake, and forces herself to stay awake by drinking Rockstars and anything with caffeine and sugar." Ruby exclaimed, sitting Scythe down on a chair across from her parents.

"Scythe, is that true young lady?" Yang questioned.

"Yes." Scythe stated.

"No wonder you're always falling asleep in class." Yang stated. "Sweetie, why didn't you just come to us with this? Hold on, I just realized what I asked. You didn't come to us, because you thought you could handle it yourself."

"My method is working just fine." Scythe exclaimed.

"Your method is self-destructive young lady. In both your mental and physical health." Blake stated. "I'll give Toshinori a call and see if he knows anyone who can help. They might find out about our origins, but they'll have to be sworn to secrecy."

"Agreed." Yang stated.

"Do we have to?" Scythe groaned.

"Yes." All three of Scythe's family members said.

"Fine." She grumbled.

~Sunday Train Station~

"Everyone has their costumes right?" Aizawa questioned. "Remember you don't have permission to wear them out in public yet. An' don't lose them or anything."

"Gotcha." Mina exclaimed, sounding all excited.

"Speak properly. It's yes sir Ashido."

"Yes sir." Mina said in deflation. "Causing the others to chuckle a bit."

"Make sure you mind your manners with the other heroes during your internships. Now get to it." Aizawa finished instructing.

"Yessir." The class, minus Iida, said.

As the class dismissed, and went to their platforms in the station, Ruby and Scythe chose to try and use this opportunity to talk with Iida.

"Iida, wait up." Ruby said as they caught up with him, with Uraraka joining them. "Hey if you ever want to talk of anything just let us know. We're friends, aren't we?" Ruby asked, with both Scythe and Uraraka nodding their heads in agreement.

Iida turned around to look at them, and despite holding a rather small smile, they could see in his eyes, he wanted to be alone right now, but he did say one thing. "Yes."

After that Iida left them to their separate devices. Scythe was following him from a distance, mainly due to the fact Ryukyu's Agency was in Hosu as well.

"I guess all we can do now, is just hope for the best." Ruby sighed. "C'mon Uraraka, we'll miss our trains if we don't hurry."

"Right." Uraraka stated following Ruby to their platforms.

~1 Hour Train Ride Later~

"Alright, here we go." Ruby said walking up the steps of a building, with a carnival like sign saying, Welcome, on it. "Remember he's not dead, it's just sausages and ketchup. An' he might act dumb, but that's all it is, an act." Ruby turned the handle on the door, and poked her head in. "Hello I'm here from U.A High. It's Ruby Rose. I'm really looking forward to…"

Ruby paused when she saw the short old man in a white and yellow suit, with a yellow cape, lying on the ground, atop a puddle of red liquid, motionless and looking lifeless.

'It's only ketchup and sausages, it's only ketchup and sausages.' Ruby repeated over and over again in her mind. "Gran-Torino sir, please stop. Dad warned me about your teaching tricks." Ruby exclaimed.

"Eh woopsie, I was carrying a nice big plate of sausages covered in ketchup when I accidentally fell down. Clumsy me." Torino exclaimed.

'Okay, that's a little weird, why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?' Ruby thought.

"Now who did you say you were?" Torino questioned.

"I'm Ruby Rose from U.A High School." Ruby stated.

"You're who now?" Torino questioned raising his hand to his ear and turning it to Ruby.

"I'm Ruby Rose." She said in a bit of a louder tone.

Torino put his hand down and looked back at her, before saying something that really got on her nerves.

"So what's your name young lady?" Torino questioned.

'Oh great. He was dad's teacher so I knew he had to be pretty old, but I didn't expect him to be bonkers. He wasn't like this in the anime was he? I've only seen all of season2 only once, so I can't remember.' Ruby thought.

Out of the blue, Torino decided to just slump down on the ground, to which Ruby reacted with a bit of concern.

"I could really use some food." Torino exclaimed.

"Some food?" Ruby questioned.

"Hmm? Toshinori?" Torino questioned.

"Rose." Ruby exclaimed. Torino just starred at her blankly. "Eh-heh, excuse me. I just need to make a phone call." Ruby said pulling out her scroll. 'I should probably let dad know the state this guy's in. He's not fit to mentor.' Ruby thought before a clicking sound gained her attention and she turned back around to see Torino pilfering through her hero costume case. "Ah, hey uh, wait that's my stuff. You can't just go pilfering through a girl's things without permission, that's just perverted and rude." Ruby shouted.

"Why don't you fire off a One-for-All Smash at me?" Torino suggested. "I wanna know how far you've come in terms of handling its power. I was quite surprised to find Toshinori had kids, even more so that he managed to pass One-for-All onto both you and your sister."

'Is this even the same guy as before? I still can't pinpoint the feeling that I'm forgetting something important.' Ruby thought.

"This is a pretty good costume. Based off Gothic Lolita. I'd say you'll catch the eye of the public in no time with this." Torino said, after he finished inspecting Ruby's costume.

'How the hell would he know I'm a Goth Lolita kinda girl, just by looking at my costume? It's doesn't even have that much gothic stuff to it unlike my last style of clothing.' Ruby thought.

"Now where's that attack?" Torino questioned.

"Uh, but sir…"

"Hey what are you doing here?" Torino asked, playing dumb again.

'What the hell is with this old fart?' Ruby questioned. "I'm here because I chose to be mentored by my dad's teacher. Out of the thousands of Agencies that wanted me, I chose to come to you because I thought you might be able to help me up the percentage of One-for-All, I'm able to control. An' I'm not sure how much time left my dad has with what remains of One-for-All in his possession. I see that was a bit of a mistake. I'm sorry, but I can't waste my whole week messing around like this sir. I hope you'll excuse me." Ruby said, bowing a bit, before she turned to walk out the door.

"As I thought." Torino said, sounding serious.

Ruby stopped in her tracks, and turned to look at Torino. The old man took in a deep breath, before he used his Quirk to fly into the air, and bounce off the walls, back to the floor, and towards Ruby, increasing momentum momentarily to land right above the doorway, his fingers digging into the bricks of the wall. Both his hands and feet causing cracks and indents in the stone.

"It's time for you to show me what you can do. Ya newbie. Eh-he-he." Torino said, looking at her with a bit of an evil look in his eye. "I watched the U.A Sports Festival on Television. You seem to have quite the handle on maintaining a certain control of output on One-for-All. But that niece of yours, not so much. The way she used her power was unthinkable. Reckless. He's not training her well. He may be the symbol of peace and the #1Hero. But All Might's a total novice when it comes to teaching. I can only imagine what a blunder he is in the classroom."

'Now I remember. Torino only plays dumb, before he gets all serious, with his teaching method. It's his shtick when it comes to being an instructor and mentor.' Ruby thought.

"I can't stand to watch her use her Quirk that way. It's a miracle her arm was able to be fully functional after reattachment. So I suppose I'll have to teach her. Is she coming by later?"

"Oh, no actually Scythe is interning at another Agency. Yang wouldn't let her intern anywhere she didn't approve of." Ruby stated.

"I see. So it's just you and me here huh? Guess I'll put you through the training I was gonna put her through." Torino exclaimed. "Now hurry and get your costume on."

"I'm ready, teach me everything." Ruby said, with a confident smile.

~Ryukyu Agency~

"Uh, hello, I'm here to see Ryukyu." Scythe smiled, her tail twitching behind her.

"Do you have business with the hero?" The secretary questioned.

"I'm Scythe Xiao Long, I'm here for the internship." Scythe exclaimed.

"I see. She's meeting with a work studies intern at the moment, just let me tell her you've arrived." The secretary stated pressing a few buttons on the machine on her desk by her computer, and picking up the receiver. "Ryukyu? Your first year intern from U.A is here… Are you sure, aren't you still… Yes Ma'am." She then hung up. "You may go in now."

"Thank you." Scythe said, before passing the desk and going into the office. In there, she found Ryukyu talking with an upperclassman she's seen around U.A's Campus.

The upperclassman is a fair-skinned girl of average height with wide, curious eyes. Her upper eyelashes long and thick, and her irises are a royal blue where her pupils are white. Her hair is periwinkle, and it reaches all the way down to her knees, twisting around itself at her waist and curving inwards around her legs. She has side-swept bangs, tucked behind her ears on the right and hanging just over her eyes on the left, and two short clumps of hair on either side of her face, curved towards her face on the right and behind it, under her ear, on the left.

Her hero costume consists of a royal blue skin-tight bodysuit with a high black collar, pale mint green markings covering her torso from over her shoulders to between her legs, framed with turquoise, a matching stripe of the same two colors around both of her upper arms. On her feet, she wears a pair of knee-high boots, a thinning flap buttoned on each thigh, with turquoise spirals around her ankles, matching the thicker ones above her yellow gauntlets and wrist-guards. She has a black strap around the top of each thigh, two small satchels attached, and two blue spiral horns on her head, which just looked like her bangs styled that way.

"Ah, Scythe perfect timing." Ryukyu smiled. "I'd like to introduce you to someone. This is Nejire Hado. She's a third year at U.A and she has been my intern since her first year. Her codename is Nejire Chan."

"Hi nice to meet you. I'm super excited to be working with All Might's granddaughter." Nejire smiled, shaking Scythe's hand, and her whole body.

"N-Nice to meet you to." Scythe exclaimed.

"Scythe, your mother has notified me on what your situation is. Since you'll be staying at my place during your time as an intern, I'll be making sure you actually fall asleep, instead of this self-destructive path you're putting yourself on." Ryukyu stated.

"Oh, what do you mean?" Nejire questioned.

"I suffer from nightmares due to PTSD, so I've been forcing myself to stay awake, by drinking gallons of energy drinks, and others filled with caffeine and sugar." Scythe exclaimed, sitting on a chair across from Ryukyu's desk, with her eyes looking like swirls.

"Oh no, that is bad. Don't worry, Big Sis Nejire will help make this right." Nejire smiled.

"Always keeping an upbeat attitude. One of the many things I like about having you as an intern here at Ryukyu Agency." Ryukyu smiled. "Now, first thing's first. Get changed into your hero costume Scythe."

"Right." Scythe said.

After dawning her nanotech costume, which Nejire fawned over, Ryukyu began explaining how things were going to go down for her internship.

"We're gonna be doing some late night patrols, the Hero Killer is still loose in the city, which means no one is safe until he's brought in. But we've got another problem other than him." Ryukyu stated. "It would appear he has a copycat, someone's killing heroes and leaving similar messages, the difference though, is he's leaving them without their hearts."

"So, what does that mean?" Scythe asked, standing next to Nejire.

"It means, they're either collecting their hearts as trophies, or eating them." Ryukyu stated reaching into a drawer on her desk. "There was a bit of evidence that gives us a clue as to what their Quirk is." Scythe and Nejire waited patiently for the evidence to be brought to them. But Scythe's eyes widened upon seeing the vial. "He left a sample of some sort of organic sentient mucus of some sorts."

"No…" Scythe said, recognizing the red tinge of the vials contents. She took a single step back, her body shaking in fear.

Her face must have showed a look of absolute terror; that coupled with her body language must have given away the fear she felt.

"Scythe, what's wrong?" Ryukyu asked, putting the vial away. "You look like you've just seen a ghost."

"That isn't mucus. It's a piece of a symbiote named Carnage." Scythe said, crouching down, and clutching her head. "The one bonded with that symbiote… his name is Adam Taurus. He's been hunting me down my whole life and… and I…"

"Hey, hey easy, take a deep breath." Ryukyu said as Scythe began hyperventilating. "Nejire go and get her some water."

"Right." Nejire said rushing out of the office.

"I can see where part of your PTSD came from." Ryukyu said, helping Scythe to sit on a chair. "Take deep breaths, and calm down. We can handle the patrol tonight. You don't have to come with if you don't want."

"No. No I need to do this. I need to face my demons." Scythe exclaimed as Nejire came back with the water for her.

"Don't force yourself to do anything you're not comfortable with." Nejire exclaimed patting her back gently.

"I'll be fine." Scythe exclaimed, looking to Ryukyu's desk. "Would it be alright if I borrowed that vial of symbiote?"

"What for?" Ryukyu questioned.

"I want to try and look at it, and when I think of Adam, I don't want to feel fear. I want to feel courage." Scythe exclaimed.

"Alright. If you think it'll help just to stare at the goop. Then you can have it." Ryukyu exclaimed getting up and grabbing the vial. "I'm to dispose of it after I've finished examining it anyway. But there's nothing that says I can't give it to an intern who could use it to help move past their PTSD."

"Thanks." Scythe said accepting the vial from Ryukyu, but keeping the symbiote unseeable to her eye, with her hand. "I can do this. I can do this."

"So question. If your costume was that nanotech thing you pulled out of your case. Then what are these?" Nejire asked, poking through her case.

"Oh, those are my weapons." Scythe exclaimed. "They're made to have both lethal and none-lethal modes."

"Ooh, what do they do?" Nejire questioned, sounding excited.

"If we ever run into a fight, I'll show you." Scythe exclaimed.

"Alright that's enough now girls. It's time we went on patrol. We might be working late tonight, but that doesn't mean we can just slack off during the day. We're going to be vigilant and work hard." Ryukyu exclaimed.

"Yes Ma'am." Nejire and Scythe said in unison.

~Ice-Queen Agency~

"Shoto, it's good to see you. I'm glad you chose my agency to intern at." Rei smiled, hugging Todoroki after coming into the rather spacious office.

"It's good to be working here mom. But what's up with the office?" Todoroki questioned, looking around what used to be Endeavor's office, in now Ice-Queen Agency.

The office hadn't changed too much, but there were some major differences. It had maintained the desk and the furniture she used, as well as the clients she had over would use. But the chandelier was removed, and the large, most likely priceless rug, had been removed from the office, and replaced with a smaller, cuter looking rug, and the walls had been painted a lovely shade of icy blue. More back in the spacious part of the room, the floor was covered in workout matts, with an elliptical, a punching bag, with MMA gloves on the wall behind it, a bench press, and a small table with a water bottle and a wireless battery powered Bluetooth speaker on it. There was even a single locker in the corner of the back.

"Oh just changing it up a bit to keep in shape." Rei smiled before turning to the other intern that came to her agency. "Weiss, how've you been?"

"I've been good. Thanks for letting me intern here." Weiss smiled.

Whether she thought it was a good thing or a bad thing, Weiss's looks hadn't changed at all since Venom had cocooned her and changed her DNA to where she was biologically related to both parents in the Bakugo family.

"Well, I'm glad to see you both. I'm sorry to be such a busy body, but I need you both to go get ready. We're going out to Hosu for the next couple of days. I've been asked by Blake to help with the investigation over there." Rei exclaimed.

"Hosu, isn't that where the…"

"The Hero Killer is currently located yes. But there's been another development, someone is most likely assisting him, or is trying to copy him." Rei stated. "An' given the evidence, it's safe to assume the League of Villains is involved."

"That's not good." Weiss exclaimed.

"Weiss, given your history with the League, I wouldn't blame you for staying behind." Rei exclaimed. "I can have you tailing one of my sidekicks while Shoto and I go to Hosu."

"I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm fine. I can get through this. I owe the League for what they did to Scythe anyway." Weiss exclaimed.

"Glad to see your resolve is strong." Rei smiled. "Alright, we'll be leaving as soon as possible."

~League of Villains Bar~

"Please explain to me again, why we're letting that woman do as she please in Master's location?" Shigaraki questioned, referring to Cinder.

"Your guess is as good as mine Tomura." Kurogiri said.

"Cinder has a plan, and since our recruitment of the Hero Killer failed, we're going with this one." Grey said, drinking a glass of whisky. "Didn't help matters much when he told us he learned what Adam had been doing, hunting down the brat. But I guess it shouldn't have been too much of a shock, since he fought against the Belladonna girl, and deemed her worthy of being called a hero."

"What exactly was that black substance, in that vile that she brought with her when we recruited you?" Shigaraki inquired.

"She said it was something involving a creature known as a Grimm, and how they're created." Grey exclaimed. "Knowing her, she's using her maiden magic to create a Grimm Pool. It'll be incomplete, but it'll be enough for her to keep her end of the deal we made for coming to this side."

"What exactly would the pool of Grimm, be used for?" Kurogiri questioned.

"It's simple. Think of a Nomu, but he has no soul, bone armor, and blood red eyes." Grey exclaimed. "Cinder might not be able to create any actual Grimm, but if that whack-job scientist of yours were to inject the Nomu with even a drop of Grimm Blood, while in their gestational tanks, and it's a success, the results would cause even Queen Salem herself to shudder at the mere thought of it."

"I see." Kurogiri said pouring him another drink.

"Is there anything we should know about Grimm if their essence is successfully integrated into the Nomu?" Shigaraki inquired.

"Yeah, one thing." Grey said, drinking the whole glass in one go. "Don't die."
