All right, time for the next part of the episode! Anyway, enjoy!
Early on a Saturday morning, inside Olga's room, Rhonda was easily getting hyped up in excitement as she was pulling a snoring Phoebe out of her sleeping bag and settling her glasses on as Nadine groaned, getting up. "Rhonda, I know you like your sleepovers to be perfect, but getting us up on a Saturday morning?"
"Come on, you girls! We can't just lay down here, napping! We need to beat the boys to the TV before they choose anything dumb!" Rhonda said as Lila yawned, getting up from her sleeping bag.
"Do we have to?" Lila groaned, rubbing her head as Phoebe got herself up, looking a little disgruntled.
"Of course! The honor of picking our first Saturday Morning cartoon is at stake here!" Rhonda said as she opened up the door... only to be met with Arnold's grandmother carrying a tray of banana cream pies, and hitting Rhonda in the face with one, causing the girl to be surprised. "What the- what's that for?"
Gertrude couldn't help but laugh. "It's National Don't Mention Meat Or Someone Will Hit You With A Banana Cream Pie Day! If any mention of meat is heard, you're going to get hit in the face with a banana cream pie!"
"...And you baked pies for this... holiday?" Rhonda smirked as she licked her lips. "Good pies, though, but really? I can't mention a form of meat or I'll get hit in the face with a banana cream pie? How do you know when someone around is mentioning meat? Look, I'm not roasting y-"
Gertrude smirked as she plucked another pie from the tray and slapped another pie in Rhonda's face. Rhonda looked unamused as Gertrude laughed. "Look alive! You never know when you casually mention meat in a sentence!"
The old lady snickered as she went over towards Mr. Hyunh's room and peered an ear towards the door, as if listening in. Rhonda could only watch as she turned towards the girls, who were getting up as Phoebe noticed Rhonda's covered face. She couldn't help but snicker. "My, my, Rhonda, don't you look heavenly?"
Nadine and Lila noticed as well, following Phoebe with their hidden giggles. Rhonda glared as she went over and got out a tissue box, pulling out a few tissues as she said sarcastically, "Please, don't help me or anything."
As Rhonda wiped her face up, Phoebe couldn't help but shake her head as she said, "Well, since my folks are picking me up early for the fencing tournament, I'll have time for two shows, but I have to get dressed and ready."
"We know, we know." Rhonda said as she opened the door and peered outside again. This time, her target was acquired as she noted the door opening up to see Arnold peering outside the door, looking around... but not before meeting the eyes of one Rhonda Lloyd. Both kids's eyes narrowed before slowly retracting their heads back inside.
Rhonda quickly turned to her friends as she motioned them over. "Okay, they're up! We better go now!"
"On the count of four?" Lila asked as she, Nadine and Phoebe took positions behind Rhonda.
"Yeah. Four! RUN!" Rhonda said as she opened the door and the four girls ran out... only to crash into their four respective boyfriends, still in their pajamas. After a moment of blushing and awkward apologies, Rhonda shook her head as she said, "You're not beating us to the TV, this time, Arnold!"
"Oh, on the contrary, beautiful..." Arnold smirked. "I think you and your little girlfriends are in quite a stew..."
Gertrude, upon hearing that, gave a smirk as she picked up a banana cream pie and tossed it right on Arnold's face. Rhonda snickered as she said, "Oh, Arnold, you're being a bit too frank!"
Gertrude, upon hearing that, threw a banana cream pie right at Rhonda, causing the girl to groan. Rhonda frowned as she shook her face. "You'll never beat me, boyfriend!"
"We'll see about that, girlfriend!" Arnold smirked. "We'll see who the 'winner' is!"
Gertrude pulled up another banana cream pie as she was about to throw, which Arnold immediately noticed as he turned, "Wait, Grandma, I said 'winner'! W-I-N-N-E-R, not 'wiener', 'W-I-E-N-E-R'!"
However, because Arnold corrected his grandmother, she hit him with a pie anyway, just because he mentioned a type of meat. Arnold sighed as he turned around, only to see the girls missing from their spots. "Come on, guys! We need that TV!"
"No need to tell us twice, man!" Lorenzo nodded as he, Gerald, Tucker and Arnold started running downstairs.
Unfortunately for the four boys, Rhonda, Nadine, Phoebe and Lila had already settled down quite well next to the TV as Rhonda had a wet cloth to wipe her face with as she got rid of the last of the cream pie residue. Rhonda gave a cheeky grin as she said, "You'll get your turn after the hour passes."
The boys gave a groan as they decided to sit down and join them, with Gerald saying, "Man, you girls always find a way to secure your spots next to the TV."
"What can we say?" Phoebe giggled as she pulled out a chart that was conveniently hidden behind the cushion she was sitting on. "We're successful in our rights to the couch! It's nice to hang out in your place Saturday morning, cuddled next to the TV and watching Saturday morning cartoons while the adults do the chores..."
From nearby the room, Olga was passing by, wearing a casual housewife outfit as she was mopping the floors as she peeked out into the room. "You know, girls, it would be nice if you guys helped out once in a while."
"Oh, we know." Rhonda grinned.
Olga couldn't help but give a heartfelt sigh. "In the Pataki household, we always did the chores first before anything else. I guess that's the perks of youth today."
With that, Olga went back to mopping duties as Phoebe picked up the remote and turned on the TV. "It sure is nice to have a sleepover at your place, Arnold and to let the guests have control of the TV."
"It was supposed to be a boys only thing." Tucker crossed his arms. "Rhonda came in with you girls when tonight's plans fell through!"
"And now we hold control over the remote." Nadine grinned towards her boyfriend. "Get used to the girls dominating the boys."
Arnold shook his head in amusement as he said, "Come on, let's just enjoy the girl's programs before we get into our own, shall we?"
"Fine, fine." Tucker said disgruntled as Phoebe turned on the TV.
"All right. Turning the channel to Nickelodeon. Assume Nickelodeon watching positions!" Phoebe called out.
Immediately, the girls and the boys got up as they started to assume funny looking positions as Phoebe raised her leg up and stuck her tongue out. Just as she was about to push a button on the remote, a news report came on.
"We interrupt your daily channel surfing to bring you this news bulletin! Flash! The Hillwood Juvenile Center is currently in the process of releasing two prisoners from their sentence, being let off on good behavior and changed for the better in society." A news reporter said as the others looked over at the TV, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
The girls and boys raised an eyebrow in curiosity as they looked at each other. The news reporter continued, "Wolfgang Caudell and Ludwig Van Dyke have recently been released back into the world, feeling refreshed, more better than ever as they seem to be adjusting back to society."
"Wolfgang and Ludwig?" Gerald asked in shock as he looked around at his friends. "Weren't we just talking about those two the other day?"
"Yeah, I believe we were." Arnold said.
"How could they be released from jail? I thought the mailbox offense would have them be behind bars for like, you know, YEARS!" Rhonda pointed out.
"I'm more trying to figure out what types of good deeds they'd have to do in order to get out of jail. I mean, you don't just get out of jail on good behavior alone!" Nadine frowned.
"Uh, girls? Shouldn't we be more concerned for the girl that put THOSE two in jail in the first place?" Lila asked, motioning her head towards a surprised Phoebe.
The smart girl then realized that all eyes were turned to her... before the smart girl scoffed. "Please. You guys seem to think I'm some helpless little girl that'll be surrounded by two bullies bigger than me. Come on, like them getting out of jail even worries me."
"Well, we just don't want you to get in trouble, then we'd have to save your bacon!" Rhonda said... causing Gertrude to run in and hit Rhonda with another banana cream pie, causing Rhonda to look up at the old lady in frustration before the old woman laughed.
Phoebe giggled a bit as she said, "You girls OBVIOUSLY have not hung out with me... I hung out with you. Just don't worry. Even if they WERE stupid enough to approach me, I have a plan."
The others looked at each other in concern with Rhonda taking another wet cloth and wiping her face as Phoebe held her position. "Now back to Nickelodeon watching positions! We can't miss this new episode of our new favorite show!"
The others paused as they noticed the overconfident, smirking Phoebe casually watching cartoons, obviously wondering what ideas Phoebe had cooking in her brain. But more importantly... what was going to happen to Ludwig and Wolfgang now that they were out of jail?
And that's Part 2 of this episode completed! How did you guys like it? Next time, Phoebe goes with her parents to the fencing competition where not only does she sign up, she has to compete against a few people... and what are the odds that two certain bullies enter, just to humiliate Phoebe? By the way, the whole 'Don't Mention Meat Or Someone Will Hit You With A Banana Cream Pie Day' is a reference to Garfield and Friends! Anyway, read, review, criticize and suggest, folks!
