Mama Yang Hero Academia-28

"Be on alert girls. We might not have been able to find any sight of him last night, but I'm sure we'll catch sight of Hero Killer Stain at some point." Ryukyu exclaimed.

"Hey Ryukyu, could we take a break, we've been at this for a while now, an' we didn't really get a whole lot of sleep last night." Nejire exclaimed.

"Hmm. I guess we could take a bit of a break." Ryukyu exclaimed. "You two wait right here, I'll go grab us some drinks."

Scythe and Nejire sat on a bench near them, as Ryukyu went to go get the drinks. They were both in their hero costumes, but Scythe had two holsters on the small of her back, that sat there in a bit of an X-formation, with two handles, resembling butterfly knives sticking out of the holsters. The two heroes in training were near an elementary school with a playground, and being dressed in their hero costumes, drew the attention of some of some of the elementary students, but none of them came over. When Ryukyu returned with the drinks, the children came rushing over to meet the hero, but started gawking at Scythe instead when they got a good look at her.

"She's the one who won the U.A Sports Festival, even though she was a late entry. She's even a kid like us." One of the kids said pointing at her, jumping up and down in excitement. "You're so cool. Can I please have your autograph?"

"Okay." Scythe said with a bit of an embarrassed smile, as she began signing various notepads, signing with her hero name and a cute smiley face drawing.

"She's pretty popular with kids, isn't she?" Nejire questioned as she and Ryukyu hung back to watch Scythe interacting with the children.

"She is. I wouldn't be surprised if she inspired more than a few future heroes to go to U.A to get their license." Ryukyu smiled. "But there's more to her than that. She's kind hearted, and no matter how grim things might seem, she always keeps a smile on her face, to chase away the darkness with her light."

"You think she might become a hero in the top ten after she graduates U.A?" Nejire questioned.

"I think, with her skill set, and her kind heart, she'll take her grandfather's place as the #1 Hero." Ryukyu smiled.

"I've heard she's the strongest in her class." Nejire exclaimed, drinking from her soda.

"Strength isn't everything Nejire." Ryukyu chuckled softly. "Even if she weren't as strong as she is, I'd think that her tenacity and her incredibly big heart, is all she'd really need to get to her grandfather's position."

"But won't she be a bit of a hindrance since she's a child?" Nejire inquired.

"Let me ask you Nejire. When you look at her, what do you see?" Ryukyu asked.

"I see a young woman in a hero costume that would make Midnight Sensei proud." Nejire stated.

"I see a young woman, with the potential to save lives. I see a young woman, who's been through more heartache, and pain, than anyone her age should endure, in her lifetime, than anyone else has suffered their entire lives. She suffers from PTSD and Panic Attacks from that mental trauma, yet here she is, putting a smile on the faces of children, and inspiring hope in them." Ryukyu smiled.

"You think she's really capable of taking her grandfather's place?" Nejire inquired.

"Why wouldn't she?" Ryukyu asked, looking at Scythe as she used her healing abilities on a kid's scrapped elbow.

"True. Oh she better be careful or that boy is gonna…"

"EEEP." Scythe cried out before slamming her fist on that boy's head.

"Grab her chest." Nejire sighed. "Can't say I didn't see that outcome."

"Indeed." Ryukyu chuckled.

"What is wrong with you?" Scythe questioned the boy who grabbed her chest, as he now sat in front of her on his knees. "A woman's body is not for playing with."

"I'm sorry." The boy said.

"You'd better be." Scythe said as the principal came out.

"What's going on out here?" The principal questioned.

"I can take it from here Scythe." Ryukyu said.

~Elsewhere in Hosu~

"Oh and here's little Shoto wearing his All Might onesie, that drove Enji crazy. Here's little Shoto after having gotten into the diapers." Rei said, showing Weiss all the baby photos she had of Todoroki.

"Oh, he looks so cute wearing one on his head." Weiss gushed.

Todoroki, Weiss, and Rei were all wearing their hero costumes. Todoroki's hero costume consists of a dark blue jacket with elbow-length sleeves, its collar high and joined in the center by a gray neckpiece, baggy pants of the same color, a metal-plated combat vest and white boots, their soles and a thin line running down the center of each of them a darker pale gray. He was also sporting a brown utility belt around his waist, with little metal capsules containing medical supplies hanging off the front.

Weiss's costume consisted of her hair being braided, and she has her bangs and styled them to frame her face more closely. She wears a pale blue and white v-neck top, above which she wears a vivid blue shrug with a raised collar, and the Schnee emblem on the left sleeve. On her arms are a pair of long dark blue gloves. For her bottoms, she wears a long white open leg skirt that splits on both sides. Around her waist are three white belts with a medium-sized pouch attached to the lowest belt. She wears long, pale blue wedge-heeled boots. Her rapier was on her waist.

Rei's costume consisted of a two piece leotard, with a sleeveless top, with a chest plate, icy blue wedge-heeled armored boots on her legs, reaching up to her knees, with matching vambraces, and a Valkyrie styled circlet on her head with a sapphire in the center. Around her waist she had strapped an armored belt and thigh guards, and a loin flap covering both the front and back of her lower half. Her vambraces were both connected to a pair of icy blue fingerless gloves, and a satchel on her side. This costume of hers was a gift, courtesy of Melissa Shield when she was still living with them.

"Mother, could you please not show my girlfriend my baby photos?" Shoto questioned.

"Oh come on, isn't it a mother's job to embarrass their son in front of their girlfriend?" Rei smiled. "We're only having some fun."

"We're out on patrol and in public, I think the embarrassing stories and pictures can wait until after we get back to the hotel." Todoroki stated.

"He does have a point Ice-Queen." Weiss smiled.

"I guess these can wait until later." Rei said putting the pictures away.

"So, Hosu is a pretty big place. Do you think the Hero Killer is still here?" Weiss questioned.

"He's still here. From all the other reports I've read about him, he's nowhere near done yet. But we're not hunting the actual killer right now. We're hunting down his copycat." Rei exclaimed.

"What evidence is there so far?" Todoroki questioned.

"Well, not much. At each crime scene, there's this slime like stuff. I managed to get a sample from the police, but I haven't been able to get so, much as a reaction from it." Rei stated reaching into her satchel, and pulling out a vile of goop.

"Where did you get this?" Weiss asked, grabbing the vile after seeing the goop, Todoroki looking over her shoulder.

"It was at the last crime scene the copycat was at." Rei exclaimed.

"Weiss, isn't that…"

"Yeah, it's the symbiote goop from Adam Taurus, Carnage's host and vessel." Weiss exclaimed answering Todoroki's question before he could finish asking it.

"Adam Taurus. The guy Blake used to date before becoming an official thing with Yang?" Rei questioned.

"He's also one of the two people who've been hunting Scythe down for a while now." Weiss exclaimed. "Wait… Scythe is working at Ryukyu Agency, and that's here in Hosu."

"If Scythe is in Hosu, and Adam is to, then…"

"We need to warn Yang about this." Todoroki stated.

"I'll call her right now." Rei exclaimed, pulling her cellphone from her satchel.

"I've got a really bad feeling about this." Weiss exclaimed.

"You and me both Weiss." Todoroki stated.

~Gran Torino's Place~

"Seriously girly, do you always rely on the recoil of your weapon?" Gran Torino asked.

It was the second day of the internships, and Gran Torino was training Ruby, but she seemed to be relying on her weapons recoil, which honestly, wasn't a bad thing, it just took Gran Torino by surprise.

"Not always." Ruby smiled. "I've been learning to handle a fight without it."

Ruby was currently dressed in her hero costume. She wore a waist cincher with her chest covered, hugging her figure and accentuating her curves, with no blouse underneath, effectively leaving her shoulders, arms, and underarms uncovered. Her hooded was cloak repaired of any damages it had sustained. Along with the cincher she wears a short dark red skirt, with split at the side with a small brown belt strapped across the gap, with a pair of shorts and slightly see through stockings, underneath the skirt. On her arms she wears black bracers with brown belts around the wrists with black fingerless gloves. Around her waist is a brown belt, with several tungsten bullets and a buckle of her emblem on it. To complete the costume, she wears thigh-high steel-toed boots, with brown belts around the thighs, and no laces. In her hands was the newly built Crescent Rose, with the blade blunt and dull for safe use on civilians, and the rounds she fires are rubber.

"Dad and Yang say I rely on it too much, so I've been learning to fight without Crescent Rose as often." Ruby said, using her speed, boosted with 5% of One-for-All, to evade Gran Torino.

"Glad to see he at least knows how to teach you proper combat." Gran Torino smirked.

Knock-knock-knock…

"Huh, who could that be? No one really comes to my agency anymore." Gran Torino said, as Ruby put the folded up Crescent Rose on the holster on the small of her back.

"Open it and find out." Ruby said with a bit of a smile.

Gran Torino was planning on playing his usual dumb self, but the smile Ruby was giving him, was sending him the message that he probably shouldn't. Turning back to the door, he opened it, thinking it was some sort of salesman trying to pawn off another piece of junk to him, but when he opened the door, he stood there in shock, his walking stick dropping to the floor, as he met his gaze, with Nana Shimura's.

"Surprise old timer." Nana smiled. "Glad to see me?"

"S-Shimura?" Torino questioned. "You, you're alive."

"I am, an' I have her niece to thank for it." Shimura said, pointing back to Ruby.

Torino looked back at his intern who simply smiled softly, and nodded her head, confirming what she said.

"Scythe was able to use her control over time to travel through it, and use a loophole that would not only prevent a paradox from happening, but also keeping an apparition from forming as well." Ruby explained. "It was during the fight against All-for-One."

"Wait." Torino said, turning back to Shimura. "So that young lady we helped that day, was Toshinori's granddaughter?"

"Indeed it was. An' the reason she had my hairpin, the only one of its kind, was because he gave it to her, since she reminded him of it." Shimura smiled. "Well, are you gonna let me in, or am I just gonna stand here all day?"

"Oh sorry, please come in. Ruby and I were just going over her control of One-for-All. Toshinori seems to have taught her well." Torino exclaimed.

"You think dad was the one who taught me proper control over One-for-All?" Ruby laughed. "Hell no. First lesson he gave me, I broke both my arms. I'm not even kidding. Yang taught me. Since she's had more control over it than me, a lot longer."

"I'm still stumped on how he transferred it to more than one successor." Torino stated.

"I'll explain it to you later old friend." Shimura chuckled looking Ruby's costume over. "For now, I gotta know how Ruby designed her costume. Gothic Lolita has got to be the inspiration for it."

"Well, Gothic Lolita was my style with my normal clothing. So I guess old habits die hard." Ruby chuckled, sheepishly scratching the back of her head. "More importantly, what are you doing here? Dad never mentioned anything about you coming by my internship."

"I came by to see my old friend. But I also have a warning." Shimura said. "Adam Taurus is the copycat Stain. It's most likely he's devouring the hearts of his victims."

"Who?" Torino questioned.

"A dangerous man, who wants to turn my sister into a baby making factory to grow an army with our power, and turn my niece into a living weapon to be the one to lead that army." Ruby stated. "If he's in Hosu, then Scythe might be in trouble."

"We'll be stopping by Hosu tomorrow on our way to where we'll be doing more of your hero training with some actual hands on experience. You can probably check in with them if you want while we wait for our transfer." Torino exclaimed. "You're more than welcome to join us Shimura."

"Thanks, but I think I'll stay behind. My hero license has long been expired, so any hero work I do would be considered illegal vigilante work." Shimura stated.

"I guess that makes sense. But would you be up for training Ruby alongside me? You never really got to train Toshinori all that much." Torino exclaimed.

"I'd be honored." Shimura smiled.

"N-now hold up. My element isn't fire, it's lightning, so no flames against me, all right?" Ruby asked as Shimura lit her hands in her violet colored flames.

"But where would be the actual training if I were to hold back?" Shimura smiled.

"Can we at least take this to the roof so we don't accidentally incinerate Gran Torino's living room?" Ruby questioned.

"I suppose. What do you think Torino?" Shimura questioned turning to her old friend.

"That seems reasonable." Torino said as he smirked evilly. "But the next week is gonna be hell for you."

"I expected nothing less." Ruby sighed, as they made their way up to the roof.

~Internship Day3 Early Evening~

"Hope you're ready. We're going out to fight some villains." Torino smirked, his walking stick pointing up in the air. "Shimura, hold the fort while we're gone?"

"You can count on me." Shimura said, waving them off, dressed in a pair of jeans, and a T-shirt, with an apron on, and her hair done up in its usual style. "Have fun, and be safe okay?"

'When she's unable to do hero work, or she's not training me, she's just like an ordinary housewife.' Ruby thought.

"C'mon squirt, times a wasting. Phase2 won't get done on its own.

"Huh, what just like that?" Ruby questioned. "An' don't call me squirt, you're like two feet shorter than me."

"If you only fight against me and Shimura, you'll be in trouble when you come across someone who's the complete opposite." Torino stated. "The key is to let you get experience with different types of villains and situations. This is an internship after all, you really shouldn't be surprised by this. An' if I wanna call you squirt, I'll call you squirt."

"I get what you're saying about the whole experience thing, but I think I still need time to prepare myself. I am still suffering from a bit of PTSD from when the League of Villains held me hostage." Ruby stated.

"Ah, that's right, those nightmares you had the past couple nights." Torino exclaimed. "No need to worry. You'll be just fine, we won't be going after anyone that big, we're going after a bunch of small fries." Torino said, hailing a taxi. "An' it won't do us any good hanging around here. Because of the small population in this area, the crime rate is pretty low, that's why there are so many hero agencies in urban areas. There's a lot more crime there. The higher the population density, the more trouble you'll find. Now in Shibuya, we'll have plenty of small fights to break up, I guarantee."

"Wait you mean we're going to Shibuya in Tokyo?" Ruby questioned. "I'm not so sure my costume is stylish enough. Plus my mask is still in the pouch near Crescent Rose's holster."

"That costume of yours tells everyone you're a hero, you should be happy to get to display it in such a bright spotlight. Besides, you don't need to put your mask on until we actually start patrolling the area." Torino stated reassuringly.

"I suppose. I wonder if Scythe has started using her new mask yet." Ruby thought.

"What's that now?" Torino questioned.

"She got a mask as a late birthday gift from our classmate Kirishima the day after she recovered from her bout of depression. She hasn't used it yet, but Kirishima gave her a mask that's identical to his, but built a little slimmer for her feminine jawline." Ruby exclaimed, before her cell phone went off, and she grabbed it, finding it was a text from Jack.

"Huh, what are you doing now?" Torino asked.

"Well, Yang isn't the only mother in the family you know. I have a daughter to, but she's adopted, she gets kinda restless whenever I'm gone for a while, it took dad and Blake's parent's hours to convince her everything was all right, and that I'd be coming back." Ruby exclaimed, responding to Jack's text.

"Ah, I see." Torino stated. "Geeze, whatever happened to waiting until after marriage to have kids?"

"I can hear you." Ruby glowered.

~Hosu City Same Time~

"We'll patrol Kyoto today to." The normal hero, Manual, said walking along the streets with Iida by his side. "Sorry this is so monotonous."

"No, it's better this way." Iida said, looking around, fully armored with his helmet on.

There was a moment of silence between the pro hero and intern duo, before Manual spoke up.

"Hey, this is kinda hard to ask but, you're after the Hero Killer aren't you?" Manual questioned.

"How did you…?"

"I couldn't think of any other reason why you'd come to my agency. Plus, your teacher, Huntress, gave me a call, and warned me about what you might be up to. She's worried about you ya know? Your whole class is." Manual said. "I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm really glad you did choose my agency, but… you shouldn't be pursuing personal grudges." These words took Iida off guard, as his whole purpose for choosing Manual's agency, was so he could do just that. "We heroes don't have the authority to arrest people or punish them. The only reason why we're allowed to use our Quirks is because of the regulations put on them. That's why, no matter how noble the reason may be, a hero must not use their Quirk for themselves. If a pro used their power for their own selfish desires, it would be a very serious crime." Manual said, before a thought came to his mind. "I'm not saying the Hero Killer isn't incredibly guilty or anything, you just seem like the earnest type you know? I'd hate for you to focus on one goal and ignore everything else."

"Thank you, I appreciate it." Iida said, bowing to him slightly.

"Oh it's fine, as long as you get what I'm saying." Manual sighed. "So, we good?"

'No.' Iida thought, clenching his fists in anger. 'What am I supposed to do, with this burning hatred, if I can't act?'

"Iida."

Manual and Iida looked up at the voice who called his name, and saw Scythe coming down with Nejire and Ryukyu in her dragon form, by her sides, Scythe and Ryukyu gliding down on dragon wings, with Nejire coming down on waves of electricity.

"Manual it's nice to see you again." Ryukyu smiled.

"Likewise." Manual said, as Ryukyu reverted to human form.

"Hey Iida, how you doing?" Scythe asked landing on front of him, folding her wings up, and bringing them into her back. "You feeling okay?"

"That's something I should be asking you. After all, I've heard about your little venture of self-destruction, via caffeine and sleep deprivation." Iida said.

"So you heard about that huh?" Scythe asked, looking at Iida with a sigh.

"Hi, sorry about interrupting your patrol Manual." Ryukyu said addressing the hero Iida was working alongside while the two teens talked. "Scythe was just real concerned about her classmate, and I couldn't say no to her wanting to check up on him."

"Oh it's fine Ryukyu." Manual chuckled. "It's good to see friends concerned about one another."

"So Scythe, have you started using the mask Kirishima gave you as a late birthday present?" Iida questioned.

"I was thinking of starting to use it tonight during patrol. I actually just got finished with catching up on some sleep, thanks to Ryukyu's new sleep schedule for me during my internship." Scythe exclaimed. "Also, be careful. Adam Taurus, is here in Hosu as well, he's a copying the Hero Killer. An' I'd bet you anything he's actually eating the hearts of his victims."

"Thank you Scythe, we'll be sure to keep an eye out for him. What about you? I know from what Yang has told the class, a large portion of your PTSD came from your first encounter with Taurus. Will you be all right if you run into him?" Iida questioned.

"I'll be fine." Scythe said. "I've been working real hard in keeping my emotions in check and trying hard to get over my PTSD."

"She's telling the truth." Ryukyu smiled. "Though she does still tend to shiver in fear whenever his name is said."

"True, true, so true." Nejire exclaimed.

"Who's Adam Taurus?" Manual questioned.

"One of the villains responsible for the USJ Incident." Ryukyu stated. "He's also a man, who's been hunting Scythe down, to turn her into a living weapon. Each attempt has left her traumatized beyond belief. I've already had to help her through several panic attacks whenever she sees the symbiote goo that belonged to him, found at several of the crime scenes. She's been using it as a means to try and get over her PTSD by starring at it."

"Huh, no kidding?" Manual questioned looking over to the two conversing teens. "Damn, she's been through a lot in her life huh?"

"First the major reveal of how she was conceived, then being hunted down, followed by the incident at the USJ that left her temporarily paralyzed, then losing her arm at the Sports Festival, after that an attack from a Yakuza group. She's had one hell of a life, that's for sure." Nejire stated.

"Sounds like it." Manual said, sounding impressed she was still standing.

"I think it's best if we get going." Ryukyu said. "Scythe, I hate to interrupt your conversation with your friend, but we must return to patrolling the area."

"Coming." Scythe smiled. "I'll see you later Iida."

"We'll talk soon." Iida said, sounding a lot happier than he was before she arrived. 'That girl. No matter the situation, she somehow always gets someone to look on the bright side of things. She's even made my anger from earlier disappear.'

"Oh and Iida." Scythe called, pulling the mask Kirishima gave her, out from her shadow on the side of a building and putting it on. "Remember, keep smiling. Even if it's painful. In this world, those who are smiling, are the ones who are the strongest." She said, using her index fingers to curl her lips into a big smile.

Iida was taken aback by that bit of advice. But he took it to heart, realizing if anyone in this world, had the right to be angry at anything, it was her, and yet she kept her head high and didn't look back. She just kept pushing forward.

Though, Iida still held hatred in his heart for Stain, he was starting to understand, what it meant for what heroes do, and what it might mean to be one.

~Train Ride near Hosu that Night~

"So, gramps, this train isn't gonna get to our destination until pretty late, are you sure that's okay?" Ruby asked Torino, while looking out the window.

"That's why I picked it. There'll be more skirmishes at night, so it'll be much more fun." Torino smiled leaning back into his seat.

'Was he an adrenaline junky when he was my age? Is he a hero just for the thrills?' Ruby questioned pulling out her cell phone.

"What's this, checking in with your daughter again?" Torino questioned. "Didn't you do that five minutes ago?"

"Yes I did it five minutes ago to say goodnight to her, but I'm not checking in on her. I'm not over protective like Yang." Ruby said.

"You kids these days, you're constantly buried in your cellphones." Torino stated.

"I'm checking in on a friend. He's in Hosu, but he's been, not himself lately, after his brother was attacked by the Hero Killer." Ruby exclaimed looking through the texts. 'He didn't reply to the text even though he read it. It's been nearly half an hour since I sent the text. I don't think he's ever waited longer than three minutes at most to respond to something before.' She thought as the conversation at the train station came to mind. 'We're almost at Hosu Station.'

"Hey did you see that?" One guy's voice said from the other side of the train behind them, drawing her attention to their location. "A building exploded."

"What's the ruckus?" Torino questioned.

"Think it's some kind of fire?" Ruby questioned, before she remembered something. 'Hold on, don't tell me we're…'

"Passengers, please hold onto your seats." The feminine voice of the train attendant said through the PA System.

The train ground to a halt, before someone was thrown in through the metal wall, tearing it open, and causing a panic to ensue.

"What the hell?" The hero questioned picking himself up.

'Yep we're here alright. The beginning of the Hosu Incident.' Ruby exclaimed, remembering the episodes involving the incident back in Remnant.

Acting purely on instinct, Ruby jumped from her seat in a flurry of rose petals, and grabbed the hero, before the hand of the Nomu could grab him, and skid to a halt on the other end of the train, holding the hero's jacket by the hood as the four eyed Nomu peeled back more of the metal frame of the train, causing more panic to ensue.

"Nomu." Ruby shouted. 'Hold on, this Nomu looks different than in the episode. Its skin is all black, with red markings, and… are those bone spikes coming out of its elbows? Wait, hold on don't tell me, that mask, and its eyes are blood red with black sclera. This Nomu has been turned into a Grimm. But how? Did the League of Villains get their hands on Venom, or did they use Carnage as a basis?'

"I want you to stay back, you hear me Rose?" Torino questioned, jumping from his seat, and using his Quirk to bounce off the walls, and slam into the Nomu, forcing them out of the train car, and into the wall lining the tracks.

"Gran Torino." Ruby called out, as the old pro flew to the city below, dragging the Nomu with him.

Running to the hole in the train car, Ruby spotted a large portion of Hosu on fire, and her eyes widened in horror.

"No way. What the hell's going on here?" Ruby questioned.

~Hosu City Streets~

There was a panic ensuing among the citizens of the city, as a fire raged on, with a large Nomu, similar to the one that attacked the USJ, right in the center of the chaos. This Nomu was different however, its forearms, shoulders, and abdomen had bone armor along with a Grimm Mask covering its brain, and spikes along the vertebra of its spine. The teeth lining its lower jaw were sharp like a wild jungle cats, and its nails were like razor sharp claws.

There was one flying above it, with the leathery skin of its wings, shimmering a blood red, with a Grimm Mask covering the front part of its brain, and long razor like spikes poking out of its vertebra along its back.

Farther into the city, where there wasn't as much chaos, Manual and Iida were watching the smoke rising from the area.

"What did you say?" Manual asked, talking with the police. "Villains appeared? Don't worry, I can head there right now." Manual said, before turning to Iida. "Stay with me, we're running." As they ran, Iida had thoughts running through his head, about who it might be responsible for this.

'It couldn't be, no this is different; that murderer wouldn't be so flashy.' Iida thought.

As they kept running, Iida stopped as he thought he spotted something in the middle of an alleyway, and his eyes widened upon seeing who was there, and began chasing after him, his feelings of anger and rage, returning, overriding Scythe's words of encouragement.

Meanwhile, deep within the alleyway, Stain was holding up his next victim, and preparing to strike him down, as he looked up in the sky.

"That idiot's making a move. An' he's so noisy, I'll have to dispose of him later." He said, before turning back to his prey, a hero named Native. "At the moment, I have important work to finish here." He said, raising his blade.

"My body. I can't move." Native said, struggling to breathe with Stain's hand covering his face. "You bastard. I-I'll kill you."

"If you call yourself a hero, you should choose your last words with care." Stain said, raising his blade, and angling it to where the chipped edge of the blade was completely visible.

Before he could strike, his attention was drawn to a different person, as Iida came, and tried kicking Stain away from Native, but his attack was countered as Stain used his blade to knock his helmet off, and sending Iida to the ground.

"A child wearing a suit." Stain said. "Who are you?" Iida just looked at him with anger and disdain. "Run, run away from here. This is not a place for children."

"You're carrying blades all over your body, and you're wearing a bloodred scarf. You must be the Hero Killer Stain." Iida said, picking himself up. "It's you right? I've been looking for you. But I didn't think I'd find you so soon. I am…" Iida's words were stopped as Stain pointed his blade in his face, two inches from his nose.

"You're eyes are searing with vengeance. Be careful what you say next. If need be, even someone your age can be my target." Stain said.

"Are you saying that I'm… not even a threat to you?" Iida questioned, clenching his fists. "You listen to me criminal. I am the brother of an incredible hero who you attacked. He's the best older brother that anyone could hope for. I have come to stop you, because he can't anymore. You're going to remember my name, for as long as you live." Iida said, a fire burning in his soul. "I am Ingenium, and I will defeat you. That I promise."

"Then so be it." Stain said. "Die."

"For Tensei." Iida shouted using his thrusters to increase the power of his kick.

Though his attack was quick and powerful, Stain easily dodged it, and kicked Iida in the shoulder, with a spike on one of his boots.

"Ingenium. So you're brothers." Stain said. "I let him live so he could spread the good word, word of me." Stain exclaimed, deepening the kick, and knocking Iida down to the ground face first. "You're a weakling, just like he was." Stain flipped his katana around, and stabbed it into Iida's shoulder. "You aren't heroes, you have no right to be called that. Both of you are nothing but fakes."

"Shut up villain." Iida growled. "You damaged his spine, and paralyzed him from the waist down. He's never gonna be able to work as a pro hero again. My brother was incredible, a caring person who saved many lives. Someone people looked up to. You had no right to take that all away from him." Iida said, gritting his teeth. "He is my hero. My older brother inspired my dream, that one day I could aspire to be a pro to. I won't forgive you, I'll kill you."

"Shouldn't you be worried about saving that guy?" Stain asked, pointing to Native. The sight of the pro cause Iida to freeze up. "So busy with your grudge, you forgot about him. You plan on using your Quirk only for yourself. Completely blinded by a selfish desire for revenge. You're about as far away from being a hero as I can imagine." Stain said, pulling his blade from Iida's shoulder. "An' that's why you'll die tonight." He said, licking the blood from the blade causing Iida to become paralyzed throughout his entire body.

'My body, won't move.' Iida thought.

Flipping his blade around again, Stain raised it above Iida's head preparing to strike him down, and skewer him through the skull.

"Goodbye child. May your death bring upon a better world." Stain said.

"No please… not like this." Iida growled. "Say whatever you want about me. You're still just a criminal who hurt my brother."

As Stain was about to bring the blade down, his attention was drawn to his left, before seconds later he spotted a blur of electricity jumping from the walls, and before he could react, he felt his face impact with a fist.

"Lightning Goddess Smash." Scythe shouted, slamming her fist into Stain's face, with the maximum percentage of power her body could safely handle of her One-for-All.

The force of the punch sent Stain flying back be twenty feet or so, as Scythe flipped over midair, and landed in front of Iida, beside Native.

"Whose there?" Iida questioned, hearing the power flowing through Scythe's body, looking up with his eyes. "Scythe? How?"

"Don't, you worry Iida." Scythe said, a determined look in her eyes as she glared at Stain. "I'm going to save you."

~Minutes Earlier~

"Seriously? How many Nomu are there?" Scythe questioned, fighting against them back to back with Nejire. 'An' how the hell are they related to Grimm?'

"You know these things Scythe?" Nejire questioned, fighting against the giant eyeless Nomu Grimm.

"Sort of. They're called Nomu, bioengineered beings of immense power with multiple Quirks. There was one who attacked alongside the villains during the USJ Attack. That's actually the one who paralyzed me from the waist down for a while." Scythe explained. "It was designed to take out my grandfather, but my mom beat it no problem. Well, maybe after I had given her a near death scare."

"Would you say these are as strong as the ones from the USJ Incident?" Ryukyu asked, trying to help with putting out the fires.

"No, but I would say these ones are attracted to negative emotions like fear, or anger." Scythe exclaimed. "You see their bone platting and vertebra? Somehow they've been integrated with Creatures of Grimm. Soulless monsters who prey on the innocent and will destroy anything that has intelligence, and a soul."

"You know this how?" Ryukyu questioned.

"Let's just say, I've a history with Grimm." Scythe exclaimed. "One more thing. You have to kill the Grimm, there's no capturing them, or detaining them. Grimm are soulless, so when they die, they simply turn to ash. They don't leave behind a corpse, or blood. They turn to ash and blow away in the wind."

"Alright, good to know." Nejire stated before the blazing inferno got bigger.

"Tenya." Manual's voice called out. "Where are you Tenya?"

"Iida's missing?" Scythe questioned.

"Hey look out." Ryukyu shouted.

Scythe turned to where Ryukyu shouted to, and saw his aunt Ruby standing there, with a bus heading towards her. The bus landed on a car, and started up another gas fire.

"Aunt Ruby." Scythe called out running to her.

"Scythe, glad to see you're wearing the mask Kirishima gave you, what's going on? Have you seen Gran Torino anywhere?" Ruby questioned.

"No, I've been a little busy with helping Ryukyu deal with these Nomu. What the hell, how are resembling the Creatures of Grimm?" Scythe questioned.

"I don't know. You think the League could have gotten their hands on Venom?" Ruby asked.

"Doubt it, Aunt Gwen and Venom are an unstoppable team, there's no way they'd be caught so easily. They'd need an army for that." Scythe stated. "Have you seen Iida?"

"No. I haven't, and he hasn't responded to my last text either." Ruby stated.

"Hey Manual. Stop the fire." A hero with bull horns called out.

Scythe and Ruby turned to see Manual running to the torn fire hydrant, and direct the flow of water to put out the fires.

"Why'd you run off by yourself? Where the hell are you Tenya?" Manual questioned, still looking around. "Damn it." He said as he directed the water to send the water flowing.

"Wait, Tenya went off alone? Despite what's happening?" Ruby questioned.

"That doesn't sound like something he'd do." Scythe said. "Aunt Ruby you stay here and help with the fires. I'll go find Tenya."

"What are you going to do if you run into trouble?" Ruby questioned.

"I have my weapons don't I?" Scythe questioned, patting the hilts at the base of her lower back, before running to the hero she was following. "Ryukyu. I think Iida might be in trouble, please let me go find him and help him if he's in trouble."

"What kind of trouble would he be in?" Ryukyu questioned.

"I don't know, but please, he's my friend I can't leave him alone. I don't wanna go after him without your blessing but I will if I have to." Scythe stated, starring directly into her eyes.

"Fine. But if you run into any trouble, especially if it's the Hero Killer or his copycat, you send for help, and get the hell out of there." Ryukyu stated.

"Understood." Scythe said, before she ran off. 'Why would Iida just run off like he did? It doesn't make any sense. Especially now with an attack from creatures that look like Nomu… Hosu City, guys who look like Nomu. Iida, Hosu, where the Hero Killer attacked.' Scythe's eyes widened in horror when she realized why Iida was gone, and what was driving him. 'Don't tell me.'

"Damn it Iida." Scythe cursed as she pushed herself with her One-for-All coursing through her veins. "I might be overthinking things. I don't exactly have any proof, but I can't just stand by. If I'm right, then Iida is in danger. I have to do something. Guys like Nomu are running wild, in the same place the Hero Killer and Adam Taurus appeared. I don't even want to imagine it, but I'm afraid I might be right. The League of Villains and the Hero Killer are connected somehow. That means, both the Hero Killer and Adam Taurus are somewhere in this city this very moment." Scythe said, as she ninja jumped the walls she was between to get a birds eye view from the rooftops following the strong smell of blood. "Since Iida wasn't at the fight earlier. He may have stumbled upon Stain, himself." She said, jumping down into another alley.

Rounding a corner, Scythe's eyes shrank in horror when she saw Stain standing over a downed Iida, his blade poised to strike the youngest Ingenium through the skull. Because she was going so fast, Scythe wasn't able to actually stop, so she instead jumped and planted her feet on the wall in front of her, and zigzagged like that towards them, slamming her fist into Stain's face, knocking him back from her friend.

"Guess I was right." Scythe exclaimed.

Stain looked up, and narrowed his eyes, his mind flashing through his memories of when he had been given an offer of recruitment by the League of Villains.

'It's her. The one from Shigaraki's picture.' Stain thought.

"You found him to?" Iida questioned. "But how?"

"I saw it on the news." Scythe exclaimed. "They had some stats about the Hero Killer, most of his victims were found where there weren't many people. So in order to find you, I needed to search far away from the chaos that was going on in the wide open public streets. In the back alleys of Hosu." Scythe exclaimed. "Iida, can you move?"

"No, I think this is his power. His Quirk paralyzes people from ingesting their blood." Iida said.

"Kinda knew that part from the information your brother gave my mama." Scythe exclaimed. "Guess I'm gonna have to start this off by getting you two out of here."

"What are you talking about?" Iida questioned.

"Shadow Deity." Scythe began clapping her hands together, before separating them, revealing a large ball of shadows. "Escape Vessel."

Scythe touched it to Native and Iida, before sending it off to the other pro heroes, leaving her alone with the Hero Killer.

"You prioritized their safety over fighting me." Stain said, smiling a bit. "You just might have the potential to be worthy of being called a true hero."

"Shut your mouth." Scythe exclaimed, reaching for one of the hilts on the small of her back. "You claim your mission is a righteous one. That all your killings are to try and make heroes act more like All Might. Well I can tell you, my grandpa would be disgusted at hearing you killed all those people in his name."

"Grandfather?" Stain questioned.

"So I'm going to bring you in, not because of the large reward on your head, not because of the fame it will bring." Scythe said, bringing out the hilt, showing it was a giant Butterfly Knife hilt, before flipping it over, and Zen rolling it over her arm, and opening it, a katana blade elongating from it, as she starred at Stain. "But I will bring you in, because I am All Might's granddaughter, and I will stop you from dragging his sense of justice through the mud."
