I'll Punish You!

Disclaimer: I don't own power rangers or the concepts and a thanks to decode9 for the use of the true legend war story concept. The following has over time devolved into a ridiculously over the top sort of parody of many things, as a warning, comedy is one of the main themes and focuses here, so if you were expecting something serious, you've come to the wrong place. With that light warning out of the way, enjoy.

In a flash, Leon and the rangers appeared on a transporter platform inside a fairly large white room. When they emerged, the six friends took a few moments to get their bearings, having felt their stomachs knot and contort inside their stomachs. Some even patted their bodies, hoping the strange teleportation experience they had just gone through hadn't put anything in the wrong place.

They then looked around the new space they'd found themselves in, they saw a central console that projected a map of what looked like the Milkyway Galaxy. Several areas of the star map appeared to ping with more light as they observed. To the side of the console appeared to be a fairly sized kitchen and lounge combination, while stairs near the rear of the room seemed to lead off to further corridors of the place they'd been brought to. As they stepped out into the room they found themselves in, one by one, each of their eyes fell on the forward section of this futuristic room. They stood in stunned silence looking out of the windows, coming to the realisation that this wasn't a room at all, it was the bridge of a spaceship. Leon laughed and clapped the red and white rangers he stood behind on the shoulders.

"First time in space I see. Don't worry, that sense of wonderment you feel right now, it never really goes away. Welcome rangers to the Stellar Sparrow, my ship for cruising space and taking down criminals!" He grinned as he walked to the console and began pressing buttons seemingly at random.

Soon enough they calmed down and Mizuki turned to the others. "Oh my god we're in space, can you believe it!?" She grinned as bolted towards the cockpit for a better look at the view. Dan gave a chuckle as she rushed off to entertain herself.

"I never imagined we'd be seeing the Earth from this view." The pink ranger said.

"To be fair, we didn't count on meeting a Space Sheriff today either." Alyssa said as the rangers spread around the bridge of the Sparrow.

As they took in the sight and fact they were now inside a real life spaceship, a young woman emerged from one of the runoff corridors and marched quickly down the stairs, she had dark hair tied up in a bun and her features were asianic for the most part. Leon turned his head and briefly smiled. Dan watched as that smile quickly turned to worry as the young woman stomped up to him, her teeth gritted, looking ready to bite the Sheriff's head off.

"What the hell Leon!?" She shouted at him. The girl didn't look intimidating at all because of her short stature, her face and the death stare she was giving Leon on the other hand, caused him to practically shake in his boots.

"Uh… you're not mad I brought them along... are you?" He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

The young woman groaned and turned around to compose herself first. Then she turned to him once more and shook her head. "I get they're useful for finding our Warrant but you should've asked me first. That's beside the point though, Command's still on hold right now and I don't think Skyfire's gonna be happy if you keep him waiting! I thought you were gonna do it as soon as you came aboard Leon!" She said, clenching her fists, almost ready to hit the young man.

"Oh that stick in the mud again? Gimme a break will ya?" He sighed and turned to the console as the remaining rangers noticed the commotion and joined the two around the central console.

Pressing a few buttons, the projection of the Galaxy faded away and was replaced by a hologram of a man clad in red and gold armour that appeared to be based on the style of a Ninja while a black visor covered his eyes. "Starlancer, about time you finally answered. Now, why has the GLE received rumors from the Planet Earth's social medias that there's been a new arrival matching your description fighting a Police force in a city known as Novaton?" He said, his voice was certainly unimpressed.

"Yeah… that's kinda… sorta… true." He said as he scratched his head and looked over to his partner, mouthing the words 'help me'

She smirked. "Oh you're the one in trouble this time Leon. You're on your own."

He cursed under his breath as Skyfire began speaking again. "Care to explain why your assaulting fellow men of the law, son?"

Leon wrapped his hands around the back of his head and shrugged. "Well, turns out the Cops in Novaton are pretty corrupt. Hurt people and this real bad Corporation is paying them to capture my new friends here and take the morphers they're using to fight back." He said, continuing to explain the situation of Novaton to the other Space Sheriff.

Skyfire nodded along as Leon updated him on what the rangers had told him and their own assault on Leon that spurred him to action. "I see, I'll need to get in touch with Space Patrol Delta about the issue; but after all you've told me, these men are a mockery to all good lawmen! If I had it my way, the whole GLE would be sent to deal with them! Very well Starlancer, you have Command's permission to continue your case against Okashi without interference. And remember to give those Corporate sellouts a good beating if they get in your way again."

"Aye-aye; Starlancer out!" Leon finished as he closed the transmission and turned to his partner. "Well Wenji, that went better than expected." He said.

She folded her arms. "You're lucky Sheriff Skyfire is all 'Justice' this and 'Hero' that. Otherwise you'd been in bi-ig trouble right now."

Leon turned to the rangers. "Oh, almost forgot. Everyone, this is my partner Wenji." He introduced her to the group.

"That's Field Operative Wenji! Come on Leon, is it that hard to remember when I only just got promoted last week!?" She said, the blue ranger noticing that she was just about ready to slap him.

"Nice to meet you Wenji." Trouble said as she offered a short nod. "Don't worry, I know how it feels to find a teammate insufferable." She smirked whilst eyeing Dan. Though it had been a while since she felt that way, he could still get on her nerves sometimes.

"Hey, what's that supposed to mean!?" The red ranger yelled on queue as the other rangers around them began to laugh.

Leon smirked as he watched the scene unfold. "I'm glad I ran into you guys. Seems like you're all pretty close too. Wenji and I are close ourselves but it's nice to have some new friends too, don't you think?" He said, walking over to the kitchen area and opening what looked to be a fridge as he spoke.

"Honestly, if I never met these guys, I don't know what I'd be doing with my life right now. So the more the merrier!" Sora agreed whilst Wenji walked over to the kitchen.

"What're you doing Leon?" She asked.

As he pulled ingredients from the fridge, the Space Sheriff gave a grin. "I promised I'd make your favourite after this, right? Looking here I think we have enough to feed our friends too."

At his words, his partner's eyes lit up brightly. "You mean you're making Fippo!"

As Leon nodded, Mizuki walked over to get a better luck. "Um… what's Fippo?" She asked as the remaining rangers listened closely, worried for their stomachs if the taste was anything like their disaster chef's cooking. The blue ranger on the other hand simply wondered if it was a dish she could recreate if the rangers enjoyed it. Had the rangers been privy to her thoughts in such a moment, they would be very concerned.

"Fippo is a dish native to my home, Vesara. As you can tell from my eyes and my dursa or the mark on my face, as humans usually call it, I'm not from around here. It's made with a kind of fish that's only found on Vesara but it's pretty nice. It's even become a favourite of Wenji's ever since we started working together." He said as the orange ranger hovered around the kitchen area, Dan watched closely, certain her intent was to steal food from the counter when no one was looking.

"Don't worry everyone, it's really good, you'll love it!" Wenji said, a dumb smile plastered on her face, the revelation that Leon was making this meal had lifted her mood considerably.

"Shouldn't we be finding Okashi, not sitting here eating?" Alyssa asked. Though her question was logical, Wenji shook her head almost immediately.

"I've already got the Sparrow's computer scanning for him. You see, the Ikshi Diamond he stole is one of a kind according to my files. It's also a power source of immense potential. Fortunately, it gives off a unique energy signature that sticks to anyone it's been in contact with." She said.

As Wenji explained the properties of the Diamond that Okashi had stolen, the rangers began to understand what that meant. "So we can just find him by using that energy signature." The red ranger concluded.

"That's right!" Leon piped up from the kitchen. "And when we do, we'll show Okashi why he shouldn't mess with Power Rangers or Space Sheriffs!"

[Martial Strike]

The Corporate King sat inside his office, whilst Callie stood patiently at the side of his desk, her tablet in hand as the Alien fugitive Okashi was held by two Corporate Cops. The CEO looked perplexed by the Alien bird ninja being held in his office and immediately turned to his administrator.

"So what's with the freakshow? New monster you're planning to use against the rangers?" He asked.

Callie took a deep breath and readied herself to deal with her moronic boss once more. "Not this time. Your goon squad, like, picked him up after he tried pawning off a Diamond to some dumb loser."

"Oh, a Diamond? How big is it? Is it worth a lot?" The CEO's greed overcame him, Callie frowning at his response as she wondered how it was possible that this person could keep hold of a company this large.

She sighed and shook her head. "Nuh-uh. It's only a teensy thing. It's also not very valuable. Totes la-ame! But it's got, like, so much power pouring out of it. I've got your eggheads downstairs using it in your special project. With a secure power source like this, it should be, like, done in zilch time at all." Callie said.

"Oh, you know about R&D's plans already? Bill was right, you're very resourceful, more than he is actually…" He pondered the thought, Callie resisting the urge to champion how damn right that conclusion was.

"Don't worry, I'll like, see that project's finished faster than my Dad's hairline; as for our friend here. We can, like, use him to get the ranger's morphers if you want. For realsies though, I don't care."

As this point, Okashi decided interject. "Weywll I jus' wan' sum monay fo' the Diamond an' Iyell be on mai whey!" He said, trying to excuse himself from running into more trouble.

Callie feigned pain in her ears as the Alien spoke "OMG, can you just, like, not speak? Your voice is, like, so irritating; I just can't even!" She said, scowling at the ninja thief. "Just get your dumb butt out there and get him the morphers 'kay? Then I can pay you and totes never hear your nails on chalkboard voice again; do you, like, get what I'm saying?" Okashi simply nodded, not wishing to incur the wrath of the valley girl before him.

[Martial Strike]

Some time after finishing the Fippo that Leon had made, the rangers and their new friends sat in the lounge as they waited for the ship's sensors to pick up Okashi's signal.

"So, what made you guys want to be Law enforcers anyway?" Dan asked. It was something that they'd all wondered about. From their own experiences, the rangers collectively couldn't exactly imagine why someone would want to be a lawkeeper.

"Well for me it was something I've wanted since I was a kid." Leon said. "Ever since I saw a Space Sheriff come to Vesara and take down a bad guy in front of me, I've always idolised them. Then I made it my mission to become exactly like them. Now I'm here, Sheriff Starlancer. Still can't believe it sometimes you know." He said as he stood, unaware of the cheesy grin on his face as he walked back to the kitchen with the plates that had been stacked atop his.

"I get what you mean Leon." Mizuki said, swinging her legs back and forth as she sat on a cushioned stool. "I lived in Newtech City until I joined the rangers. I was there when B Squad fought the Troobians a few years back. I was usually far from the action but their Megazord fights were always great to watch! That's why I joined the SPD Academy and then I got assigned to help you all." She added, turning to her team, only to be met with silence.

"So, you're telling us all this time you're the one Bridge sent to help us and you're only letting us know now?" Ella asked, her tone coming off as more than a little irritated.

The orange ranger chuckled nervously. "Sorry guys… I thought you knew?" She said, attempting to downplay the problem she had unwittingly caused.

"Well, it's nice to know who our help is… I guess." Trouble said while looking slightly worried. Though the truth had come out, given how unreliable Mizuki was outside of the battlefield, it was a shared sentiment that they were all more than a little concerned with Bridge's choice.

In an attempt to calm his friends, Dan turned to the second GLE officer. "So, Wenji; how'd you get involved with this? You don't look like the type to go chasing criminals across the Galaxy."

"Well… I guess I had enough of my own world. My planet is called Empry, it's a very reclusive world that minds it's own business and doesn't involve itself much in the Galactic community. The closest comparison I found in your planet's database, this 'Wikipedia' as you call it, was a place called China back when it was run by Imperial dynasties. Petty close to what Empry is honestly. I got bored and wanted to do something fun, didn't expect to get stuck with Leon for the foreseeable future but… at least I can keep him outta trouble."

"That… doesn't answer my question all that much though…" Dan muttered as Leon turned around as he finished washing up.

"Don't sweat it, she's a pretty private person and that's all you're gonna get outta her. Want my theory though? She's actually a former assassin for whatever black ops organisation Empry's got." The Space Sheriff said, to which he got several strange glances.

"Um, Leon… why do you think that exactly? She doesn't look like some highly lethal assassin to us." Sora asked.

"Watch." He said as he retrieved a spherical fruit from the counter and without warning pitched it at Wenji, aiming straight for her head. Each ranger watched helplessly, unable to respond to the shock of Leon throwing something so fast at her head so easily.

As it barreled quickly towards her head, too fast for any normal person to react to in their eyes, Wenji's hand became a blur and in a split-second the girl now held the round fruit out in her palm, not even looking at what her partner had just thrown. "Leon, you better not have been aiming for me." She warned him with an unsettlingly calm voice as she held the fruit out toward him, still not looking in the direction it had been thrown from.

"N-No! Of course not!" He lied as he retrieved the fruit and placed it back in the bowl.

The rangers simply watch this extraordinary feat, mesmerised by her inhuman speed. "Woah… maybe Leon is right." Alyssa whispered to the others.

At that moment, the central console pinged. Leon and Wenji immediately headed over, shortly followed by the other rangers. "Looks like we have him. He's currently causing some chaos on this bridge." Wenji explained as she pulled up a holographic map of Novaton and pointed to a specific point on the map."

"Alright rangers, let's lay down the law!" Leon said as he lead them to the transporter.

[Martial Strike]

"Ay, I'm fuhlyin' 'ere!" Okashi cried out as he swooped in front of cars that drove along the bridge intersection.

The bustling public road was quickly disrupted by the Alien fugitive's attack as Okashi circled the area and glided towards civilians who attempted to flee from their cars. As he flew towards a fleeing man, laughing hysterically as he did so, Leon and the rangers materialised between the two, causing the crow-like Alien to divert and crash against the road.

"Ay, whach wheya' you're goin'!" He growled as he stood up and then saw the Space Sheriff stride towards him, the six rangers stood at either side.

"We meet again Okashi, guess it's my lucky day. You know you're wanted for seven hundred separate accounts of theft right? I really think your luck's just about run out, don't you?" He said as he produced his badge, ready for a fight as the rangers unlocked their own Martial Harnesses from their waists.

"Nah ah don' t'ink dat at awll! T'at Coroporayte Kin' Saiyd dat ah coul' have monay if ah went an' took dem mowphers oh youw rainjewrs!" He blurted out his plans without a care.

"Just give up bub, and tell us where that Diamond is now!" Trouble said while cracking her knuckles.

Okashi took a step back out of fear but then shrugged. "Mai knew Coroporayte frewnds saiyd they'd tayke it off o' mah hans! I don' got it know." He confessed as he prepared for the upcoming fight by raising his fists.

"We won't get anything more out of him and we can't just break into the Corporation's tower to take the Diamond back. Sorry Leon, looks like it's a lost cause." The red ranger said, though he hated to admit it, it seemed the Corporate King had got one over them this time, which to him was quite unusual…

"It's fine… guess I'll settle for taking this criminal down. You guys ready?" He asked. As each ranger held their morpher out and triggered their transformation, Leon lead the call. "Stellar Burst!"

"Martial Spirit, Strike Out!"

"Carnival Spirit, Strike Out!"

In a flash of intense colours and as the spiral Galaxy covered Leon from head to toe, the rangers emerged morphed whilst at their centre stood the armoured Space Sheriff.

"Might of the Dragon, Martial Strike Red!" Dan began their roll call, clenching his fists and standing in a fighting stance.

"Way of the Dove, Martial Strike White!" Sora carried on, placing his fist to his chest.

"Agility of the Tiger, Martial Strike Black!" Alyssa continued, performing a backflip and landing back on a solid stance.

"Grace of a Flamingo, Martial Strike Pink!" Ella posed on the tips of her toes.

"Ferocity of the Jaguar, Martial Strike Blue!" Isabel added, taking a stance similar to Dan's, while having her fingers out and clenched like claws.

"Wits of a Fox, Martial Strike Orange!" Mizuki called, throwing her hands high above her head and spreading them wide.

"The Ace has arrived, Space Sheriff Starlancer!" Leon added his own, presumably newly thought up touch to the team's standard chant.

"With Furious Fists, Power Rangers Martial Strike!" Dan called.

"Ready to fight!" They all finished as an explosion went off behind them.

"In the name of the stars…" Starlancer took in a breath before thrusting his index finger towards Okashi. "I'll punish you!"

As he finished, both he and his ranger allies charged forth at the fugitive, fully intent to take down the criminal. Okashi immediately attempted to take off, however, the white ranger quickly fired out his grapple that found itself winding around the Alien crow's feet. As he tried to fly away, Sora pulled on the tether, keeping the thief grounded.

Alyssa and Trouble took advantage of their foe's new predicament and with her scythe, the black ranger swung, the curved blade reaping into Okashi as sparks flew from his form. Isabel struck next, piercing him with her two sai's. As she did so, Okashi finally struggled enough for the tense tether to grow taut and finally snap, allowing him to fly freely.

"Good job keeping him grounded that long Sora!" Alyssa gave a thumbs up to their teammate as he took a moment to catch his breath from the strenuous challenge he'd just faced.

"Yeah, thanks." The white ranger said.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him!" Mizuki said with all the confidence of the world. "Tonfa blasters!" She called as she switched her weapons to blaster mode.

As she unleashed a flurry of energy bolts from her dual weapons, Okashi darted through the air in a failed effort to avoid them. As the blasts struck his wings, he cried out for mercy. "Hey, wawch wheya youwa shootin'!" As he spoke, the blasts struck his wings, sending him out of control.

The rangers followed to the edge of the bridge where Okashi fell to the road below, crashing against the tarmac and skidding across as the cars, unaware of the commotion above until now, braked just before they hit the bird Alien.

"Nice one Mizuki, now it's our turn!" Ella said as she nodded to Dan. The two rangers leapt from the bridge, shortly followed by Starlancer and their teammates.

Not wanting to give Okashi any time to recover, the pink and red rangers struck hard and fast, Ella ramming the end of her bo staff into Okashi's stomach and winding the thief before Joe swung his nunchucks around, repeatedly battering the criminal in the face. Pulling back, the two ranger returned to their team as Starlancer readied his blaster and saber to finish Okashi off. The foe in question stood dazed and unable to move or think after the last two rangers' debilitating attack.

"Alright Leon, the Star Sparrow's good to give your weapons a major power boost, take him down!" Wenji's voice came over the Sheriff's helmet communicator.

"Nice!" Leon said as he began to charge his blaster pistol. "Star Saber, Energise!" He called as a small beam of blue energy descended from the Sparrow and covered the blade once more. "This is it! Stellar Final Break!" He announced as he fired a blue beam of energy from his charged blaster, immediately following up the attack with a second one from his saber; slashing through the air with his energy covered saber, the plasma released its grip on his weapon and shot out in an arc that quickly merged with the first beam.

The now strengthened final attack quickly collided into Okashi and exploded on impact. When the flames finally died down, Okashi was nothing more than a few feathers. As the rangers were about to celebrate however, a beam fired from the Monster Supersizer Nine Thousand and One™ hitting the spot where Okashi had been destroyed mere seconds ago.

"Oh great, now he's gonna be even bigger!" Mizuki groaned as her arms stropped.

"And more annoying… god I hate his accent." Trouble said as in that instant, a gigantified Okashi reanimated and laughed as he looked down at the rangers and Starlancer.

"HAW HAW HAW, LOOWK WHO'S DA BIG MAWN NAWW!" His voice boomed across the city as Starlancer was taken aback by the sight.

"Now that's… a new one." Leon said, the rangers however stepped forward to deal with the new problem.

"Martial Zords, Strike Out!" Each ranger called as they were illuminated in a blue glow before before being teleported away to their zords.

As their Zords teleported from their hidden hangar to the sky above, the rangers teleported into their cockpits, now clad in their mega form ranger suits and ready to take the fight to the gigantic Alien.

"Mixed Martial Megazord, Combine!" The six called as their zords combined quickly to meet the new threat. As it completed its transformation, the red ranger took the lead once more. "Mixed Martial Megazord, Ready to Rumble!"

The Megazord quickly closed the gap between it and Okashi, giving the humanoid bird an uppercut punch to the head and knocking him back. As Okashi stumbled however, he quickly regained his footing and charged the Megazord with his wings spread. Before he collided with the Mixed Martial Megazord, he spread his wings and flew up, grabbing ahold of the hulking mechanical fighter with his foot talons and lifting it off high into the air.

"Woah, what's happening?" Sora asked as the rangers' cockpit rumbled and the six struggled to keep their footing.

"I'M TAKIN' YOUW AWLL WAY UP HIGH! SPACE HEEYA WE COME!" Okashi laughed hysterically as they ascended.

Ellie felt her stomach twist. "Oh no… This thing doesn't have artificial gravity like Leon's ship by any chance does it?" She asked, only to be met with worried shrugs from her teammates.

"Oh, you ain't leaving that easy bird brain!" Starlancer called from the ground as his boots pulsed and in an extraordinary leap, he shot up high into the sky and landed on the shoulder of the Mixed Martial Megazord. He quickly tapped the head of the fighting machine as the ground grew further and further away.

The Megazord's head turned and on their in-helmet screens, each ranger saw Starlancer perched on the shoulder of the Megazord. "Leon? How'd you get there?" Dan asked over their comms.

"Moon boots." He said briefly. "Look, when we get to space, I'll handle the rest. Okashi isn't escaping that easily." He nodded to them as he pulled out a large two barreled magnum-type weapon. "I've been saving this for a big catch, looks like I've finally got a crook who's too good for my usual weapons."

The red ranger nodded. "Okay Leon, we'll leave him to you!" He said as the Megazord and Okashi finally entered orbit.

As the rangers felt the effects of the lack of gravity and began to float around their Megazord's cockpit, the mechanical fighter became inoperable while Okashi laughed in his perceived triumph.

"YESH OKASHI IS T'A GUREYTES' IN DA UNIVERS'!" He cheered, but his triumph was cut shore as he spotted Starlancer holding the new weapon and charging it up, blue energy pooling in each barrel.

"Galaxy Cannon… Primed!" Starlancer announced as he locked onto Oksahi. "Galaxy Collapse!" He called as he unleashed two spiralling energy shots that coiled around each other as they headed towards Okashi.

Finally reaching the Alien fugitive, the two shots hit their mark and struck Okashi directly in the chest, rupturing him as an immense blue energy built up in Okashi and he began to bulge. "AY, AH T'INK AM DYIN 'ERE!" He cried out as he erupted into a colossal explosion that lit up the space around the Earth for a short moment.

Leon lowered the Galaxy Cannon to his side and released his breath. He took a moment to savour the victory before finally speaking. "Another one bites the dust!"

[Martial Strike]

Having been retrieved by the Stellar Sparrow, everyone now stood in their civilian forms on the bridge of the GLE ship. Leon and Wenji stood opposite their new friends, who in turn now stood on the transporter platform, preparing to say their goodbyes.

"It's been fun working with you all, it's been quite an experience." Leon grinned at the team of rebel fighters. "And now I know where to go if I wanna kick the crap outta come corrupt officials." He said with a short laugh.

"Yeah, it's been pretty wild! Never thought I'd meet a cop I liked either." Dan agreed as they shook hands and Leon proceeded to do the same with each ranger.

"Well the bad ones get what's due eventually." Leon said, giving the red ranger a wink. Dan smiled, it was clear for their short time with Starlancer that even if their experiences with Cops were bad, at least there's still some good ones out there.

"Don't worry, now the GLE is aware of the situation, we'll aid in finding a way to oust that Corporation from Novaton. No people should live under tyranny." Wenji said, a determined look in her eye as she spoke. Clearly there was more to her than it first seemed but they thought it'd be best not to push it.

"Yeah, what Wenji said. Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of missing out on the action when it finally comes to taking down this Corporate King guy, sounds like my favourite kind of arrest." He grinned.

"We'll appreciate the help." Trouble said as each of the team gave a grateful nod before disappearing as the transporter activated and teleported them planetside.

Once the rangers had disappeared, Leon and Wenji returned to the central console, the latter beginning to type some commands into it as the projection changed once again to show several documents on wanted fugitives across the Galaxy. "Outstanding Warrants everywhere… as usual. So, where to next partner?"

Leon gave a short laugh as he looked over the current contracts. "To infinity… and beyond!"

|Martial Strike|

And with that, chapter 22 is over and the Space Sheriff Starlancer mini-arc has come to its end. It was fun to write again after not being able to get to this for a while. Sorry about that but I was more focused on writing Occult Circle for a while and then I had deadlines and Uni in general that's kept me busy. Speaking of which, it's started back up again and while it won't be a while until my next set of deadlines, it'll still keep me occupied, not enough for me to completely neglect this now though.

As for this chapter, it was fun to do and get into Leon's backstory and allude to a bit of whatever's going on with Wenji but I won't be developing beyond that so make of her what you will. I wanted to show why they'd work for law enforcement too and it seems their actions will have a positive impact on the rangers' overall outlook on police in the future. I finally had a go at putting in Callie's valley girl voice more this time as well and I'll say now that I'm, like, totes happy with it, for realsies. Continuing the fun, Okashi was enjoyable to write again with that awful attempt at a NY accent and my thanks go out to RangerRed2.3 once again for creating him since it was a nice challenge to my writing abilities too. I also decided that I'll actually be using that diamond for something as I alluded to in the chapter instead of it just being a throwaway mcguffin to get Starlancer to team up with the rangers. I used the zord battle this time just to show off Starlancer's most powerful weapon, the Galaxy Cannon that's adapted from Shaider's Big Magnum. Overall it's been interesting to adapt a Metal Hero and like Leon said, he will be appearing in my finale in some way, so look forward to his return. Next up is a little transitional chapter that leads into the next arc. All I can say about the next arc is that it's titled 'Berserker' and it's undergone some recent changes from my original plan but I'm sure you'll all enjoy the surprise there. Thanks for reading and until the next one!
