At the guild, Erza's P.O.V
When Evergreen hit me with her stone eyes it felt weird and not the good kind either, I could hear what was happening but I could not see it made me feel useless people were hurt and I couldn't do anything about it because I am still stone, poor Lucy she is probably enraged right now she hates feeling useless more than me, all of a sudden I felt hot was Natsu trying to melt the stone off me the little shit I heard master yell and Gajeel recommend welding something back on then I saw light from my right eye then my left I was no longer stone but the other girls still were sadly.
"Why do I feel hot Natsu what have you done." I stated angrily.
"Erza there is no time for that do you know what's going on?" Master said coming to Natsu's rescue.
"Yes, in fact I could hear EVERYTHING!" I said smirking as Natsu blushed.
"Then please go find Evergreen and defeat her to save the others." Gramps ordered.
"Yes master, you have my word!" I yelled running out of the guild.
As I ran through Magnolia the townspeople asked me what was happening.
"It is just prep for the parade later." I lied; we can't have the townspeople worry.
"Well can you ask them to pick up after themselves." A shop owner asked as he gestured to the broken wall of his shop.
"Of course, sir." I replied politely and left to continue my search.
"Look what we have here Titania Erza the one who they call the queen of the fairies." Evergreen said mockingly behind me.
"Evergreen turn the girls back now before this gets ugly." I stated, giving her a choice.
"I don't think so you have to beat me, if you can." Evergreen taunted me.
"Fine you chose the hard way." I said calmly as I requipped two swords and charged at her.
"Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun." Evergreen yelled, shooting fairy dust bullets at me she added more creating a smoke screen and thinking she won.
"This is one battle you and your team won't win." I stated firmly and requipped two more swords on my feet.
"What the hell!" Evergreen yelled, getting angry.
"Give up Evergreen." I demanded.
After I pinned her to a clock tower, she laughed in my face.
"You know my eyes have another function remote control I can make one of those precious statues of yours crumble from here." Evergreen said as she tried to bluff.
"If you do that then you will pay the price with your life." I threatened her while summoning all my swords to my side.
"I surrender!" Evergreen yelled in fear. Her eyes closed tight awaiting impact from all my swords, I smirked and punched her in the face.
"That's all it took to make you surrender; seriously woman learn how to bluff." I mocked her like she did me.
Evergreen just nodded before she fainted.
Back at the guild
Natsu's P.O.V.
The stone started to crack and the girls were back to normal once Lucy was fully released, she looked very pissed.
"I am going to beat the shit out of that blonde bastard he messed with me and my kin I will have him begging for mercy!" Luce yelled, running to the barrier scales appearing all over her body and her eyes turned gold.
"No you cannot fight Laxus Lucy, in fact you are banned from fighting him unless you are the only one left, as he is still the master's grandson and your dragon wants to see blood Laxus' to be exact, Natsu Gajeel you two will take on Laxus; only if you two can't beat him then Lucy you can fight." Gramps said seriously as he looked at Lucy like a parent would look at a disobedient child just before she ran into the barrier.
"Wait, don't tell me you're over 80!" Gajeel yelled in shock.
"Do I look over 80 to you dickhead." Lucy yelled terrifyingly.
"No not at all." Gajeel mumbled. She scared him, then Laxus' hologram came back.
"So Erza beat Evergreen that's annoying oh well I just have to replace the old rule now that I have no hostages, with a new one now I have activate the Thunder Palace; now the whole town is my hostage you have an hour before the town is burned to a crisp time is ticking, tick tock." Laxus yelled, mocking us.
He has made a fatal mistake he pissed off Fairy Tail's dragon slayers and that mistake will be Laxus' downfall I turned to the others and saw an enraged Lucy but before she said a word master cried out in pain.
"Lucy help me get him to the infirmary and please call Porlyusica I know she has a com and that you have one too!" Mira yelled as master collapsed.
"Mira I've got it go get his meds now you call the old woman I need to focus on stabilizing master." Lucy told Mira as she picked master up and took him to the infirmary Mira not far behind with a com in her hand.
After 10 minutes
"How are we going to get out." Cana stated.
"I don't know, who knows how to rewrite the runes." Gajeel asked.
"Wait I can rewrite the runes and I will get you guys out." Levy stated.
"Hey Mira, can you quickly erase my guild mark." Luce asked. She looked like she was thinking of a plan.
"What why...oh I get it the runes only apply to Fairy Tail wizards so if you're not one then you can walk through like the rest of the girls." Mira explained, removing Lucy's mark.
How does she come up with these loopholes, oh well that's my girl.
"Thanks Mira also only one of us should do this or it will be suspicious now come on girls and you can do it Levy-chan now Stella come with me, Happy stay with Natsu." Lucy stated before she and the other girls ran out, but she stopped at the door and turned to face me and lug nuts.
"Just promise me if you and Gajeel have to work together then please don't make it a competition do you hear that Gajeel." Lucy called out to me and Gajeel seriously.
"I promise." We both said at the same time and with that she was gone.
"Levy how long left." Mira asked nervously.
"I don't know Mira, I'm sorry." Levy stated, stress written all over the poor girl's face and with that Mira was gone.
Lucy's P.O.V.
As I walked out the guild, I felt a new determination in me to win so I started to run with Stella flying next to me.
"Stella wings." I told her.
She just nodded her little head and she flew me on top of the buildings, and we landed. Then we walked a bit and thought of a plan.
"Lucy, I don't think it's a good idea to evacuate the town." Stella stated, worriedly.
"Why Stella?" I asked concerned for my best friend/sister.
"Look down at the streets there are a lot of people from other towns here today for Fantasia it would be a stampede." Stella replied.
"You're right, let's just be on the lookout." I added.
"Hey Lu do you feel that?" Stella asked.
She looked really creeped out, something did not feel right.
"Come out Bickslow I know you're here." I stated calmly.
"Why if it isn't the guild's precious celestial cheerleader." Bickslow laughed.
"Cheerleader, cheerleader." His babies repeated.
"Let's get this over with how about we make it a little bit harder for me, during this fight I can only use my celestial spirit magic and that's it." I said, smirking.
"Sounds fun it's on, I will beat you though then I will take your soul how do you think Natsu will react." Bickslow stated while sticking his tongue out smirking.
He has no clue whatsoever of what me and my spirits are capable of.
"Open Gate of the Archer, Sagittarius." I chanted.
I wanted to get this over and done with ASAP before he really pissed me off.
"Hello, miss Lucy what can I do for you?" Sagittarius asked.
"Shoot down the dolls." I answered.
"Oui." Sagittarius replied as he shot the dolls down.
"Oh no my babies, my babies psych." Bickslow cried, but had his tongue out like he was joking.
"Way to go miss Lucy." Sagittarius said.
"Ha ha ha this is not just a toy shop it's a armory oh and thanks for the keys." Bickslow screamed, cackling with my keys in his hand.
"Oh no you have my keys whatever shall I do." I yelled sarcastically.
"Return." I stated. My hand was held out for my keys as they appeared in my hand, I smirked.
"What the fuck didn't see that one coming, that just makes it more fun." Bickslow yelled.
"Fun, fun, fun." His babies repeated.
"Fun I'll show you fun Open Gate of the Lion/Little Lion, Leo and Leah." I chanted.
Two spirits appeared in front of me.
"This should be fun I haven't had a proper fight in a long time." Leah said, pumped up to fight.
"Ha ha ha looks like I need to get serious." Bickslow said, taking off his helmet.
"Lucy, Leah shield your eyes." Leo yelled, covering his eyes.
"Look at me when I speak to you." Bickslow laughed.
"Look, look, look." Bickslow's babies chirped.
"Baryon Formation my ultimate combination." Bickslow commanded, sure of himself.
"Leah I need you to distract the babies, Leo create a blinding light and I will knock him out." I explained to my two spirits as we jumped out of the way of Bickslow's attack.
"Got it/sure princess." Leah and Leo said at the same time.
"Oh, Lion's Brilliance/Regulus Impact/Celestial Lucy Kick!" We all attacked at the same time and when the dust cleared Bickslow was knocked out.
"We won this one, you two can go back now." I said in between heavy breaths.
"Bye princess." Leo and Leah said.
When they went back the strain on my magic disappeared, and my breathing returned to normal.
"Lu you need to stop making bets." Stella stated as we sat there.
Back at the guild
Natsu's P.O.V.
"Luce did it!" I yelled out.
"What bunny girl did it, she beat him!" Gajeel yelled, shocked.
"Well she beat you, and the bunny always beats their opponent just like in the Tortoise and the Hare." I stated, confidently.
"You idiot, the tortoise wins not the stupid bunny." Gajeel argued back.
"No, the hare wins cause they are faster duh!" I yelled back.
"That's it I need to translate the runes at two different speeds, you two will be out in no time trust me and when you are out head in different directions so you don't get stuck in Freed's runes." Levy yelled out of nowhere.
"That's great shrimp how long?" Gajeel asked.
"5 minutes so get ready to fight, got it boys." Levy answered Gajeel politely as she rushed to finish.
"Done yet shrimp." Gajeel grunted.
"Yes I am now you two split up, Natsu you go east and Gajeel you go west now go beat Laxus!" Levy yelled.
As we ran out of the guild I saw Gajeel look back at Levy for a nano second before we went different ways.
Outskirts of Magnolia
Cana's P.O.V.
"Laxus, Freed show yourselves cowards." I yelled, trying to bait them out.
"Cana, Juvia thinks we should be careful not to get stuck in runes." Juvia explained calmly.
"You're right knowing Freed he probably put up rune traps all over Magnolia." I said.
As we walked more we did the thing we were talking about, we got stuck in runes.
"Oh look who I have trapped." Freed spoke, appearing from runes.
"Freed dispel the trap immediately and let's fight fair!" I yelled.
"Only one of you will fight me, Cana I hope it's you." Freed stated calmly and watched us.
"You sicken me Freed you know that I am not fighting Juvia no matter what you do to me!" I yelled at him.
I was infuriated, no I was livid that he thought I would fight my own comrade.
"I expected better from you Cana, why do you protect the Phantom girl?" Freed asked bitterly. What does he have against Juvia.
"Cana it's fine Juvia will make this easier for you Water Body." Juvia yelled.
She started to bounce off the barriers and then she hit lighting lacrima dead on and was electrocuted.
"Juvia why!" I yelled, crying.
"Save the town." Juvia said weakly before she fainted in my arms.
"Freed how could you!" I screamed.
Any control of my anger was gone and any remorse toward Freed was gone, he was no longer my guild mate he was my enemy.
Freed's P.O.V.
I wonder why the Phantom girl sacrificed herself to help Cana, foolish girl Cana won't win against me it still shocked me but I regained my composure.
"Dark Ecriture: Pain." I stated.
I heard Cana scream out in agony.
"Dark Ecriture: Fear." I chanted again.
Cana was frozen to her spot in utter fear it was like she had seen a ghost.
"Cana!" I heard Mira's voice yell out of nowhere.
I turned towards her voice and saw her and Elfman who was hanging onto Mira for support.
"Freed that is so unmanly how could you do this to Cana she was your friend!" Elfman yelled.
What an idiot of a man, he should know my only friends are the rest of the Thunder Legion and Laxus.
"Elfman you are talking rubbish." I answered him.
"You little shit Beast Soul!" Elfman yelled as he transformed into a beast.
He finally did it took him long enough he then charged at me.
"So you finally learned it took you long enough both your siblings learned it before you." I mocked him.
For Mavis' sake he is predictable anger really does cloud your judgment he is sloppy.
"Dark Ecriture: Pain." I stated.
He let out a deafening scream.
"Freed stop!" Mira yelled.
You could see the tears threatening to fall but her words fell on deaf ears.
"Dark Ecriture: Fear." I said calmly.
He now looked like a big baby afraid of the dark.

"Mira you are delusional we were never close." I said through gritted teeth.
I walked closer to Elfman, he was still in pain and fear.
"Freed don't." Mira sobbed.
I ignored her and focused on Elfman again.

Before I finished the spell I was hit by an immense wave of magic energy one I have not felt in a long time.
Mira's P.O.V.
"Freed stop." I sobbed.
He ignored me and focused on Elfman again.
"Dark Ecriture: Death." Freed chanted.
Before he finished the spell I hit him with an immense wave of magic I unsealed my seal on my other magic and everything went red.
"Satan Soul!" I yelled out.
Freed wore a expression of shock and a little bit of fear but he quickly put up his stupid facade again it's annoying.
"Dark Ecriture: Wings!" Freed yelled.
Wings appeared on his back as he tried to get away from me, not happening.
"I will eliminate you Freed you can't escape me." I said evilly.
I just smirked and flew after him catching up to him in seconds I threw him into the ground and waited.
"The only way to beat a demon is to become a demon." Freed whispered in between labored breaths.
"Dark Ecriture: Demon." He chanted as he placed a rune on himself he turned into a demon.
"Demon wannabe who do you think you are!" I yelled back.
"Soul Extinction." I attacked.
He blocked me, we went at each other for what felt like hours till I got bored and decided to end this so I flew into him and pinned him to the ground, then he returned to normal.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry Mira please don't kill me." Freed begged.
I was about to kill him when the memory of Lisanna's face flashed through my head and my transformation failed.
"Freed why, you have friends at Fairy Tail. Why did you do this?" I asked, confused.
"I only have one true friend and that is Laxus!" Freed yelled. Afterwards tears flooded his face.
"Freed that's not true there are people who want to be your friend, you just need to let them in." I said softly.
"Really Mira you think they would forgive me." Freed choked.
"It's Fairy Tail of course we forgave Gajeel and Juvia didn't we." I laughed.
"You are right I have been so stupid and I surrender." Freed said admitting defeat.
Back at the guild
Levy's P.O.V.
"Mira vs Freed, outcome tie both unable to fight." I read out loud.
I jumped when I heard the guild doors fly open I looked and Porlyusica was there.
"Where's he and is the celestial dragon around." Porlyusica stated in the same uncaring tone.
"Master is in the infirmary and Lucy is out looking for Laxus she said master was stable before she left though." I stammered.
She was gone once I mentioned where master and Lu-chan are 5 minutes went by and she walked out.
"Go tell that shithead of a grandson that he is killing Makarov." She stated sternly though her eyes showed that she was annoyed.
For the first time in my life I didn't think, I just ran I had to find Laxus and tell him to stop this nightmare of his please be well gramps.
