Yes I uploaded! I promised this story would be finished before 2020 and it will be!
Question of the chapter: favourite miraculous character/ favourite Christmas movie?
What? It is the festive season. I like the Nativity movies but I also like the Santa Clause ones. Unpopular opinion but I am not a big fan of Elf.
Anyway, Merry Christmas! Enjoy this chapter (take this as a semi-final)
When Marinette would look at the Seine, on a typical sunny day, she would find it the most calming and serene place on Earth. Her eyes would always fall on the locks that held so much love. Deep within her she had always hoped to be able to put her own lock on there, and for a little while, only a glimpse, she saw it coming true with Chat.
But just like people in life, there was the hidden depths under the surface. The base of the Seine was pitch black and deadly. Chills would run down her spine at the thought of what lurked in the shadows. Despite being able to breathe, Marinette felt suffocated by the area around her.
"Marinette!" Tikki proclaimed, flooding around the girl with alarm," We need to transform immediately and use your lucky charm,"
Nodding Marinette forgot her initial fears, caking herself in the powerful confidence she felt in her superhero suit," Tikki, spots on!"
Around her, seemingly more quicker and desperate than usual, the familiar red bugs wrapped around her body- leaving her Ladybug suit in their wake. A surge of power radiated through her body as the mask hid Marinette, the poor abused Dupain Cheng child, and displayed Ladybug, the confident city hero.
"Lucky charm!" Ladybug screamed, throwing her red yo-yo into the air.
Moments of anticipation followed, waiting for some kind of object that will help her. After the agonising wait, the red light faded and her lucky charm appeared.
Catching the object, Ladybug became perplexed. Out of all objects in the realm of possibility- her lucky charm gave her a firework?
The firework was white and red striped, as they are often perceived, with a string that curled from the circled base. It ended in a point which took the shape of a rocket. On the side was a note which read: 'Powerful enough to shoot through water! Just apply flames to string and let it go.'
Thinking on her feet, Marinette observed how she was new knee deep in the water. Her heart was hammering in her chest as she fumbled with her yo-yo. At some point, she remembered there was a lighter included (as well as a breathing mask which she knew would be useful later).
Holding the lighter out of the small gap in the cage, Ladybug readied herself to set the firework off.

Meanwhile, Chat was racing back to the Agreste manor. His breathing was hitching in his throat, creating a burning sensation that carried through to his muscles. Though, he had no time to worry about it.
Worry filled his veins as he noted the rising smoke from his home.
Panic seeped into his brain as he spotted the gates that were blown off their hinges.
His heart stopped when he couldn't see Marinette.
Landing on the stone drive, Chat walked cautiously into the thick fog that sat around the mansion. Vaguely, he could see a large and dominating figure. He knew it was Tom's akumatised form.
"Mo- Anna?" His voice cried, realising he nearly gave his identity away.
Punisher turned on his heels, laughing menacingly," Why if it isn't the unlucky cat. I am Punisher- give me your miraculous and I might let your precious girlfriend go,"
Freezing, Chat's blood ran cold.
He knew Punisher was bluffing - in more ways than one. Punisher could be bluffing about having Marinette in the first place, though Chat had a deep feeling that Punisher did have her. Secondly, and more likely, even if Chat gave over his miraculous- Punisher would still keep Marinette. In this situation it was best for Chat to fight the villain than give into demands.
Then an idea struck him. In his clasped palm there was still the moth miraculous. He was unknowing to whether or not dual miraculouses would work- however it was worth a shot.
Trembling, Chat placed the miraculous under his bell. As soon as he did, a grey spirit - similar to Plagg- left the miraculous. Unlike the first time he met Plagg, the hero knew what to expect of the Kwami.
"I am Nooroo," The Kwami declared, her looked around at the surroundings with wide eyes," Just say Nooroo Dark Wings Rise! I think you know what to do, save Paris Chat Noir,"
Nodding, Chat forgot his initial fears and filled himself with the happiness he would have when he and Marinette could be together again," Nooroo Dark Wings Rise!"
Silver moths flowed around him, leaving his cat suit with silver engravings and panels. His mask gained a moth in the middle, his bell turned a deep silver colour. Whilst Chat still retained his baton, it extended to resemble the cane that Hawkmoth was famed for having.
Around him, moths began to appear. There were hundreds in a few seconds- all ready to fight.
Unlike Hawkmoth, Chat Noir has good intentions. Rather than feeding off of the negative spirits, Chat could feel the happiness- which he could use to create heroes rather than villains.
First he sent an Akuma to Nino. At first the DJ teen was confused. But as soon as the moth hit his bracelet, Nino was filled with comfort and determination. However, he didn't become Bubbler instead he became a faux Carapace- the turtle miraculous hero. Nino was completely green, with a shell and black mask.
The next Akuma was Alya. Instead of Lady WiFi she took on the spirit of Rena Rouge, a powerful fox miraculous. She was ready to use her sly illusions to fool the villain.
Chloe, feeling strangely generous that evening, was akumatised next. Her form was of the bee miraculous, yellow and blacked striped, and named Queen Bee.
The akumatisations continued, each member of the class becoming a spirit of the miraculous. Kim became the monkey (Cheek as he named himself), Rose became the pig (Pink), Juleka wielded the sheep (Wool Blanc), and Alix gained the bunny miraculous (becoming Bunnix). More of the class slowly began to appear at the Agreste mansion.
Without order, the akumas began attacking Punisher. They too could sense the evil he gave out. Chat tried but he didn't have the power to remove Punisher's Akuma from him through the miraculous- deciding it must be the holder who created the Akuma who can withdraw them.
Wool Blanc and Pink worked as an unstoppable team, Pink using her power of increased strength to engage in battle whilst Juleka harnessed the wool net her miraculous allowed her to create. Together they held back Punisher whilst the other heroes waited to use their attributes too.
Taking his chance, Chat ran par Punisher and looked around. Distantly, on the floor, he saw his mother terrified.
"Mum!" He whisper-yelled, helping her into her feet," You need to get out of here. Hang on,"
Using the moth miraculous, Chat called Carapace over," Take this woman to a safe place. Her name is Anna and she could be a target of Punisher,"
Carapace instantly agreed, picking Anastasia up. He used his baton to propel him into the roof tops with Chat closely following. In her hands, Anna still gripped the precious book, deep part of her feeling the intense need for it.
"I am going to stay up here- to have a good view of the battle," Chat explained, Carapace voiced his understanding before continuing to take Anna to safety.
Chat searched around, looking desperately for any sign of Marinette.
Bang!
In the distance, he spotted a rising firework. It had burst out of the water and exploded into what seemed like tiny Ladybugs.
Suddenly, Chat realised what was going on.
Ladybug was calling for his help as Marinette was in the Seine!
~8~
Ladybug was swimming in trouble, quite literally. The water had filled the small box up to her neck. It took everything not to add tears into the mix of her seeming death by drowning. Her miraculous was beeping, she only had a few minutes left before she wouldn't even had a mask to breathe under the water with.
Beep!
The water was reaching her chin.
Beep!
She could feel the suit leaving her body from the feet, painfully and slowly. Gasping, the water was so high she was pressing her cheek against the roof.
Beep!
The water fully submerged her.
No longer was she the confident Ladybug, but the terrified and dire Marinette. As her superhero suit disintegrated, her eyes met vibrant green ones through the gap.
Chat Noir was looking right at her with a mix of admiration and shock. However, he soon realised that he needed to jump into action.
Even with his muffled speech under the water, Chat called on his cataclysm. Touching the cage, the metal contraption melted into nothing.
Marinette began to feel her lungs tightening, she gripped his arm in urgency. Chat passed her his baton, which offered a small breathing device. As she regained some oxygen, the black clad hero headed to the surface.
When they broke through the fresh water waves, they both gasped for sweet air. After which they both hugged each other tightly.
"I know we are in a very dangerous situation. But..." Chat stated.
Marinette tilted her head in confusion but soon found her lips connected with Chat's. There was no hesitation as she kissed back, even deepening the kiss herself. Despite the fact they were still in the water, the kids still felt amazing and Mari never felt happier.
They parted, gasping for air. Mari only have Chat a small moment before she kissed him again- taking him by complete surprise. Though it was very quick as they were both reminded of what they had to do.
In their heated moment, they failed to hear the warning beeps of both Chat's miraculous. First his moth suit faded, then so did his cat suit.
Marinette's eyes widened. Chat, her Chaton, was Adrien Agreste.
A thick blush crept to her cheeks as she turned in the water and swam off. Her face was as red as a ladybug, not fading even when they both reached a small boat dock they could climb onto.
Adrien laughed, draping an arm over Mari as they sat on the edge of the dock- their feet dangling over the edge.
"So you're Chat Noir," She mumbled audibly, not really knowing how to take the development," I feel stupid for not realising,"
Adrien kissed her head before laughing," You know I feel stupid for not realising the two bravest women in my life were actually just one. And do you want to know a secret?"
Marinette eagerly nodded. Adrien ticked her hair behind her ear. Mari's hair had grown out to a messy bob now, he still had memories of her in the street crying with the hair extensions out. Looking at her excited look now, Adrien realised how much she had changed since they first met with him as Chat and Adrien.
"I'm sure that important and brave woman is the love of my life," Adrien stated sincerely, placing a tender kiss on Mari's earlobe.
The ravenette felt a shiver run down her spine as her cheeks returned to the red stained colour.
For a moment, a brief moment, they felt like a normal teenage couple. They promised forever, they promised love without ever really knowing it. Though this couple would last.
Bang!
They both jumped up, alert. In the sky, a holograph of Punisher's face appeared.
"Pathetic Chat," Punisher growled," And an even more disappointing daughter. You can't even die properly,"
Adrien hissed, pulling Mari behind him.
"Now let's play a game of Chat and mouse kitty," Punisher teased.
The last words Punisher taunted, Chat vowed to make true," Come find me and defeat me,"
That's it, we only have one more chapter to go :(
