Hey everyone

Sorry I haven't been posting that often, but I'm back at collage again and it's really eating up alot of time. Also for a story like this, I would have to write about three to four chapters in advance before posting to make sure this all fits together for the up coming trial. So thank you guys for all your love and support, and I hope to continue writing as soon as possible.

Just a Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or the world they come from. Just the idea of the story

Ding! Dong! Ding! Dong!

"Good morning everyone! It is now 7 am. Night time is officially over. So let's all breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy this beautiful day."

I lay on my bed as the morning announcement rang. I did not get enough sleep last night. It was almost a curse when you see your nightmares during the day. As much as you wish you can just close your eyes and pretend it wasn't real, it doesn't stop you from opening them to the truth.

Yesterday, we lost three friends. The twins; who caused a bit of destruction wherever they go, and Anna; the one filled with optimism and love for her sister. But, she killed the twins, and talked like she was full of despair. She...wasn't herself anymore.

A lot of us spent the rest of that day to ourselves. Letting the sorrow overtake us. We all ate before we went back to our cabins, barley talking to each other. We were all filled with our own kind of despair. One that we can't get rid of in a day. It's clear with the few of us left, the paranoia is getting bigger.

I groan as I got up from my bed. My head has been feeling so heavy lately. Maybe because I've had a lot of stuff on my mind. It certainly doesn't help that the people around me are killing each other.

Why?...why are people resorting to that? Back to when it was Eugene and Astrid, they kill just to leave and see their families. But...Anna's trial was so different. She didn't kill for wanting to leave. She killed mostly because it was fun. Like it was her primal instincts to kill. Just...what was she? And what did she mean by she remembered?

Did she remember something about the outside world? Did she know who was running the game? Maybe she was the traitor, and only now remembers it.

No! No, no, no...That doesn't make any sense.

If she was the one behind this whole game, then why drag her sister into it if Anna loved her so much. So that theory is thrown out the window. So then...who is running this game? And why?

I doubt I'll find any answers today. I might as well play it as I usually do. So I quickly got dressed, grabbed my bag, and head outside. I took one look to see no one else around. Maybe they're all at the dinning lodge already. I should go there first.

But then I remembered that Rapunzel had probably made more of those memorial pictures. I quickly ran over to Tuffnut's cabin to see if there was anything. Sure enough, on his porch was his painting. It didn't look as clean or as neat as the other pictures beforehand. But then again, that's almost Tuffnut in a nutshell. The picture was of him standing in the middle, holding a demolition switch. Surrounding him were some items getting blown up. I guess it makes sense for one half of the demolition duo.

I quickly made my way to the girls' side to see his sister's picture, and it was almost a mirrored image. In the center was Ruffnut, holding a switch, and having fireworks surround her.

I turn my head and can easily spot Anna's picture. I carefully walk up to it to get a better view. It seems like a simple picture, Anna climbing up an icy mountain with a genuine smile on her face. Her warm features defiantly show through this picture.

But then I remember back to what she was in the trial...almost behaving like a lunatic in an asylum. But that wasn't the Anna I knew at this camp. That was someone else entirely. Why do I have to keep reminding myself of that?

I quickly turn and head to breakfast. I'm not surprise to see a number of people there already. Jack, Pitch, Maui, Fishlegs and Snotlout were all eating their breakfast.

"Hey," I said when they noticed I came in.

"Hey," Jack responds as I grab my plate and fill it with food.

"Where are the girls?" I ask as I sat near Jack and Maui.

"Rapunzel is taking a nap," Fishlegs answer. "She stood up late painting those pictures."

"Defiantly not her best work," Snotlout comments.

"It's the thought that counts," Fishlegs argues back.

"And I doubt we'll see Elsa and Merida today," Pitch comments before sipping his tea. "Not after the events of yesterday."

"I'm worried about Elsa," Jack said. "I hope she'll be alright."

"She'll work though this," Maui said. "I know I had to."

"Maybe you should go to her cabin and talk to her," I suggest.

"That may be an idea little man," Maui said with a small smile. "If she feels up to it."

"Why would you want to waste your day like that?"

We all turn to see Monokuma on top of one the tables. Figures he would be here.

"Let me guess, another area is opened up," I said unamused.

"Geesh, it getting harder to please you guys," he said with a sigh.

"This is getting so predictable," Pitch said fingering his brow.

"Well...how about this," The bear said. "What if I we to tell you that there is something in this campsite that may or may not help you with your woes. Something about the outside world perhaps?"

"Not interested," Snotlout said leaning back on his chair.

"Welp, can't be helped I guess," Monokuma said before disappearing again.

All of us groan as we look at each other.

"Soooo? Are we going to check it out?" Jack asks.

"I think we don't have much of a choice anymore," I said as I eat more of my breakfast.

"Indeed," Pitch said. "We finish up and head down to the newest site."

"You guys go ahead," Maui said. "I'll go over to check on Elsa."

"I'll join you," Jack said eager.

"Then the rest of us will go and see this new campsite," Pitch said with a hint of annoyance.

Slowly, everyone finished their breakfast and head out the door, leaving me alone.

It felt really uncomfortable, just sitting in a big room alone. The feeling of isolation really gets to you. And now that there are few of us... I honestly don't know what to think. That any moment a person could snap and kill. And that this new campsite could be just another motive to push for that.

But...I should at least check it out. Get into the loop like everyone else. So after I finish my breakfast, I head out the door and to the Great fire pit. Once I got there, I saw the door open, leading to the 4th campsite.

I walk through the path towards the fourth site, man it feels like a longer walk than usual. The trees overhead completely block my view of the sky. But then I made it to the path's end...

...and I couldn't believe my eyes.

Right before me as an amusement park, a full out theme park right before my eyes. A huge roller-coaster spread through the whole area, and you can see a castle's towers peak above the rest of the area. There's even a train that goes by with Monokuma's face on it.

Soooooooo many thoughts and questions popped into my head. The first being how did this get here?! I mean... The resort, the school, and the trailer park were a bit of a stretch. But how do you fit a whole theme park in the middle of the woods? I don't even want to know how much it would cost someone to build.

I shake my head as I journey down the path to my right to look at everything around.

The first thing I saw was a small, grey building that stretched across the land. On each side were two big doors that had cars on a giant conveyor belt. I look up the middle and saw a big sign on top of the building.

'Monomi's Haunted House!'

Monomi? I'm guess that's the pink rabbit on the side of the sign. She looked like a little sister to Monokuma. Half of her body is pink, she has a red eye on her right side, and a yellow bow in front of her left ear.

How can anything that cute be in front of a haunted house? Wait? Did I say she looked cute? Don't be stupid Hiccup! She's just another by product to that stupid bear.

Chances are that this haunted house is a trap anyway. No way am I going in there.

My next stop this huge castle. It looks almost like a castle inside Disney world...but with a creepy Monokuma face on top. I carefully walk up to the front entrance when I notice Snotlout there. He's trying to open the doors to get inside, but to no avail.

"This blows!" He complains.

"Why is it?" I ask curiously.

"The doors are jammed!" He yells. "I can't get inside."

I try to pull on the door handle, but the door wouldn't open. I even try to push the door, but not surprising; that doesn't work either.

"Please," Snotlout said crossings his arms. "If I can't get it open, there's no way you can."

I groan at his compliment as I look up to study the castle.

"But, why keep such a big place locked up?" I ask out loud.

"Because of the mice!"

We both jump as soon as we heard Monokuma's voice. Gods! Every single time!

"Wait? Mice?" I ask.

Monokuma trembled in fear.

"Yeah...mice," he said starting to shake. "They're so small...so creepy...so...yucky."

"Heh, never knew you would be scared by a pathetic rodent?" Snotlout snarks.

"Oh, I'm not afraid of them, not by a long shot," the bear retracts. "But do you know how many diseases those things carry around? No way I'm going let you guys get exposed to that. Always tie up any and every loose end."

And with that, Monokuma disappears from our sight. I'm not entirely sure about this whole castle full of mice, but it looks like we can't go in.

Soon, I found myself at my next stop, The Roller-coaster entrance. I look around to see not too much going on. The long red track can be seen with a number of loop-d-loops and bigdrops. Before me was a couple of red cars train with Monokuma's face on the front; waiting for someone to get on.

I nervously step back. I hate roller-coaster. They always made me sick whenever I ride one. The last thing I want to do is to get on one in a death game. Thinking quickly, I head back down.

Finally, the last stop of this place. A long colorful building with a sign that said, 'Arcade', on top. I peak inside to see rows and rows of games. From air hockey, to racing car games, and even a big wheel in the middle of the floor.

Curiosity got to me I took a few more steps inside. It seems to be a standard arcade. There was even a prize table on the side. Though, I don't exactly want to win these prizes. They were a number of Monokuma stuff animals, a couple of balloon bats, and some small knick knacks. But there were also about 5 wrapped up boxes on top that were labeled, 'mystery item'. What could be in those boxes? Maybe I shouldn't go for them. After all, I would need 1000 tickets for the cheapest one. The biggest one is for 5600 tickets. Just what could be in there for that much? Then again, knowing Monokuma, there will be a note book in there.

"Hmmmm."

My head turned to see Pitch looking a few arcade games. Didn't think he would be the type that was into games.

"Hey," I said as I approach him.

"Oh, hello," he said acknowledging me. "Curious...isn't it?"

"Curious?" I ask him.

"The names of some of these games." He points out to the four games that were in front of him, causing me to look too. I see a nimble of the old box arcade games and the titles on top.

'Trigger Happy Havoc'

'Twilight Syndrome Murder Case'

'Killing School Life'

'Do Ultimate Robots Dream of Clockwork'

Ok...something tells me I really shouldn't play any of these games. The last thing I want on my mind is murder and killing.

"Why have particular names on these games?" Pitch continues as he crossed his arms across his chest. "What is Monokuma trying to tell us?"

Wait? What was that last part? "What do you mean?"

"Nothing really," he said dismissing me. "But have you honestly ever heard of these games before?"

"Not really," I reply. Then again, I haven't gone to an arcade in a long while. I can't really stand the noise in them.

"Neither have I," Pitch said. "So these games might've been made up by Monokuma. So what is their purpose?"

As much as I hate to admit it, he has a point. Why would that bear bring these games here? Just what are they? Though, I'm a little afraid to play them, so I really shouldn't be too concern.

As I walk away from Pitch, I notice a small section with a giant tarp around it. I think there may be a game being developed under the tarp. There was a hand written sign that said, 'don't play this game yet!' I should heed it and avoid the tarp.

Wow, I manage to look around the island before dinner time. Well, might as well head back to eat, as well as wait for everyone to give our full report.

It was a bit of a hike back, with the forest trees blocking off the sights of the amusement park. Soon, I found myself passing the Great Fire pit and to path number 1. From there, it's the usual short walk to the dining lodge.

I step inside and saw a number of people already there. Jack, Maui, and Elsa were sitting at a table together. The look on Elsa's face... Despair couldn't even begin to describe it. She was a pale as a ghost, her eyes had dark circles around them, and hair was a little frizzy. But...she still seems alive. She was nodding and whimpering as Jack continues to hold her hand while Maui wrapped her in a bear hug.

"How is she?" I ask, unsure if I should speak right now.

"She's calmed down a bit," Jack answers looking at me. "We just mostly sat and talked outside her door."

"What about?" I ask sitting down at a table nearby.

"Just how we understand somewhat of what she's going through," Maui said. "I even talked about Moana and how she was to me. How much it pained me to lose her like that."

"Again...I'm sorry about what I said to you in the trial," Elsa said in a soft voice.

"I told you not to worry about that," Maui said with a smile. "You were angry and upset. A little temper flair doesn't hurt that much. And I got angry too, so we're even."

"Thank you," Elsa said before looking towards me. "And I'm sorry that I was yelling at you like that. I just...I just wanted to believe my sister couldn't do such a thing."

"Believe me, I wish it wasn't true too," I said with an honest face.

"But...I cannot deny what I saw...what Anna had become," Elsa said trying to dry her face with her hand. "But...looking back...I realize, the one the killed those twins...that wasn't my sister."

I became surprised when I saw her face harden a bit.

"The Anna that killed them...that wasn't my sister," she continued. "I know Anna would never even think about killing anyone. So...in a way... Monokuma killed my sister and replaced her with that...thing. That's something I can never forgive or forget. But...why did it have to be my sister?"

She broke down again as she leans on Maui. He gently hugged her like a loving brother.

"Elsa..." Jack sighs.

I couldn't help but to look. I feel so bad for her, but I know we did the right thing.

"Who knows?"

We all turn as we heard Merida's voice coming from the door. She was leaning inside the door frame, as if she was listening to the whole thing.

Merida continues, "But the one thing we do know is that bear isn't going to stop. Like he said, he wants all to feel despair. So maybe targeting you sister was his way to fill you with despair."

Elsa frowns before standing up. "Well, it's not going to get me. I've had my breakdown of sorrow, but I also have a strong resolve. So I maybe continue to cry for my sister, but it's not going to cloud my mind. Like you said Merida...I have to stand on my own... And to live for her."

"As cheesy as that sounds, I'm glad for you," Merida said before stepping inside the lodge.

"Where have you been?" I ask her.

"Went exploring on my own," she said sitting down. "And out all the things to be here...an amusement park?! Really?!"

"Are you serious?" Jack asks. "The forth campsite is an amusement park?"

"See for yourselves," Merida said as she holds up a brochure in her fingers.

She flicks the brochure to the trios table so they can look. I decided to go up and lean in myself to view the paragraph next to the Rollorcoaster and the castle.

'Let your cares soar free at this free admission theme park. Let go of the ups and downs of your life...and anything you are attached to in life.'

Ok...this one has to be the worst. Let go of anything you're attached to? What does it mean by that?

"Remind me to give this place zero stars," Jack said jokingly. "Monokuma is making this place worst."

"Worst then it already is," Maui comments.

"But what does it mean by this?" I asking pointing to the attachment part of the paragraph.

"I don't know," Merida said.

"Maybe we should wait for the others," Elsa said as wipes off the last tear from her eye.

We waited for a bit for everyone to come back before discussing anything else. I managed to eat something before Fishlegs, Snotlout, Pitch, and Rapunzel arrives. They all grabbed something to eat and read the brochure before talking.

"And anything you are attached to in life?" Rapunzel reads out loud.

"That makes no sense," Snotlout yells. "What does it mean to let go of life?!"

"I'm scared to think of what that means," Fishlegs comments.

"Probably something to do with our homes and family," Pitch concluded.

"I said I don't want to think about it!" Fishlegs squeals.

"Pushing that aside," I start. "The only place in the fourth camp that maybe a help to us is the castle. Monokuma doesn't like going in there."

"If it's scary for Monokuma...I kinda don't want to know what's in there," Rapunzel said.

"Besides, we can't get the door open," Snotlout said. "Even with all my God like strength, I can't get it to open."

"So far the castle is off limits," Pitch said. "And everything else in the area is just standard attractions."

"And they're not even good rides too," Merida said. "The haunted house made me yawn."

"You went on the rides?!" I said in shock.

She shrugged, "yeah. So?"

"But it seems to be like the other campsites," Elsa said. "There is nothing that can help us get out."

"At least we know that someone is looking for us," Jack said. "We still have this Makoto Neigi looking."

"But we have no idea who he is," Pitch points out. "We don't know if he's a fabrication by Monokuma."

"We don't know that for sure...but our little man does," Maui said pointing to me. "He's the one that saw him."

"I said I spoke to him through a computer screen. I didn't actually see him," I said. "But I can tell he's real. I don't know how, but I just do."

"That seems good enough for me," Jack said with a smile.

I smile too, but then a thought came across my mind. Another name. A name I've heard before but I can't remember where. Maybe it was during my despair decease. Though I can't quite remember what I saw...the name sticks out.

Izuru Kamukura

Just...who is that?

"You ok?"

I turn to see... "WHA!"

I literally leaped from my seat when I saw Monokuma on the table.

"Oh," the bear giggles. "Did I scare you? Sorry, I thought seeing my cuteness would be enough to-"

"Why are you here?" Jack asks unimpressed.

"I just wanted to show you a little something," he said gleefully. "Just a little something I put together."

"Is this another motive?" Rapunzel asks fearfully.

"This early?" Monokuma said. "Maybe. Maybe not. But full attendance is required. So hop over to the arcade!"

With that, he disappears again. We all looked at each other with the same thought. We have to obey in order to live.

With some minor growls and mumbles, we all made our way to the forth campsite and the amusement park. With the sun going down, some of the buildings and rides of the park lite up with flash bulbs and multicolor lights.

We finally made it to the arcade to see Monokuma standing in front of the tarp. He was wearing a red and white striped shirt with a small top hat. If I had to guess, he's going to reveal something underneath it, maybe a game. Whatever it is, I don't think I'm going to like it.

"Welcome ladies and gents," he said; his voice sounding like a game show announcer. "So glad you all could make it!"

"Like you left us a choice," Snotlout comments.

Monokuma ignored him. "I am here to present; one of the greatest games on this planet! It is colorful! It is stupendous! It will test your skills like never before!"

"Just get on with it!" Maui complains.

Monokuma reaches out to grab the tarp. "I present to you... Are You An Ultimate!"

He pulls off the tarp to reveal a stage. There was a big screen on top of this big red curtain that reaches to each side of a raised platform. Red bars to surround the stage, save for the entrance and it stairs.

"What is this?" Snotlout asks totally confused at what he's looking at.

Monokuma smiles as he waves a black cane around. "This; my dear Snotlout, is the toughest game on earth. It will test you on your Ultimate Talent, and if you beat it, you win a fabulous prize."

"That's it?" Maui shakes his head.

"And if we loose this game?" Pitch asks curiously.

"Then you try again tomorrow," Monokuma. "Simple."

"Forget it," Rapunzel said backing away. "I'm not going on that thing."

"Why not?" Monokuma asks. "I made this game with you guys in mind."

"Not really a good selling point," Jack comments also backing away.

"Trust me, this game can't harm you," Monokuma said. "The only thing that will get hurt will be your pride when you loose."

"I don't believe that," Elsa said with a frown.

"Just a moment," Pitch said opening his e-book. "It says that Monokuma cannot help commit the murders. So I don't think this game is a death trap."

"In that case, why don't you try it out?" Maui said, gesturing him to get on.

"I rather not," Pitch said. "I'm never a fan of games."

"Excuses, excuses," Maui said.

I turn to Monokuma. "How exactly do we play this game?"

"Easy," he answers. "You step up, the screen will scan you, and you play a difficult task base on your talent. And once you step off, the game is over. And you have to wait at least 12 hours to try again."

"And what kind of prize do we get in return?" Jack asks.

"Phuhuhu," the bear giggles. "That would remain a secret. But I'll give you one clue. It has something to do with the outside world. Heck, it may even hold the answers you all are looking for."

We all look at each other, thinking that this is a trap. Just another motive to kill. But...it might be the break we're looking for. So what do we do? Maybe the game isn't that hard? If someone wins now, we can all get the answer.

"Screw it!" Snotlout said before stepping on to the game. The floor beneath him started to flash different colors. White lights started to circle around Snotlout and the tv screen flashes.

'Player: Snotlout Jorgenson'

We all gather around the stage as Snotlout got himself ready for whatever was going to happen. Suddenly, the curtain opened up to push a barbell onto the stage. On each end, there were about 5 big weights on each side of the barbell, and a weird black end caps too.

"What?" Snotlout said stunned.

The screen flashed again, showing a new text.

'Lift high for 3 minutes.'

"That's it?" Snotlout said with a smirk as he clasps his hands together. He then got into a squatter poise as he rubs his hands together. He cracks his neck as he reaches down for the barbell. He curled it up to his chest, taking a step back. He proceeds to lift the bar over his head. From there, the screen shows a stop watch and started ticking.

Snotlout seems to have no problem with this, as his stance seems to be strong. Though, I can't really see his face to know how he's feeling.

"Come on!" Maui cheers.

"You can do this!" Rapunzel also cheers.

"Keep it going!" Jack yells.

I guess I should cheer to offer support. "You got this!"

But as soon as a minute was up, one of the end caps started to expand like a balloon. It made Snotloit buckle his elbow, bending it.

"Whoa!" He yells before he became off balance, letting the barbell go off to his side. It fell hard, mailing a huge clang sound. As soon as it hit, the floor became red. Snotlout also went down to his knees and breathes heavily.

"What was that?" He asks while trying to take air in.

"I told you this would be tough sunny boy," Monokuma said. "You may not have won, but you get a consolation prize."

He slaps on a sticker on Snotlout's forehead. It had that bear on it giving a thumb up.

"Arg!" Snotlout yells, ripping the sticker off. "That thing was heavier than a car!" He points to the barbell as is disappearing under the curtain. "No person could ever lift that! It's rigged!"

"That's why you're an Ultimate, right?" Monokuma said. "You do the impossible feats. Now move over and let someone else have a turn."

Snotlout struggle a bit to get off the stage.

I guess it takes a lot to be a weight lifter then lifting weight.

"So...now what?" Maui asks everyone.

"I think we should try again," Pitch said. "Maybe a different kind of game would be easier for someone else."

"I guess...I can try then," Fishlegs said stepping up. Once again, the floor light up and circled Fishlegs.

Player: Fishlegs Ingerman

"Oooh, let's see what you get." Monokuma cheers with glee.

Then a table appeared with a few books on it. Fishlegs carefully looked at the books, unsure.

The screen flashes again...but in a total different language. 'Stabler bøker med de eldste på bunnen og de nyeste på toppen '. There was no way I can read that. And from the look of things neither did Fishlegs. He became panicked as he flips through every book on the table. And after about a minute of this, a bell went off. The entire floor became red. I guess Fishleg's time is up.

"What...wh-what was I supposed to do?" Fishlegs asks Monokuma.

"Read the screen," Monokuma said pointing at it. "It'll tell you what you needed to do. Next!"

Fishlegs quickly got off the stage after Monokuma slapped on his sticker.

"Only because I'm curious," Elsa said as she steps onto the stage. The table and books vanish as the stage light up for her.

Player: Elsa Arrendale

Soon, two white skates shot out of the curtain and stopped near Elsa's feet. Soon, the entire stage was turned to ice. Elsa quickly deduced that she would have to skate and put the skates on. She looked up at the screen to see her instructions.

'Skate the moves at each spot.'

Soon, soft music began to place and Elsa found her rhythm to skate around the small space a bit. After a few seconds, a small circle appeared on the ice with screen saying, 'leg lift.' Elsa smoothly lifted her leg over the spot. Then the next circle quickly appeared with 'triple salchow.'

Elsa quickly stops her skates and left. Sure enough, the floor turned red, and the ice vanished.

"What happened there?" Jack asks.

Elsa shakes her head as she unties the skates. "There's no way to do a triple salchow in that small a space. You have to get at a certain speed to do that move perfectly."

"It seems whoever goes up there, has to face an almost impossible test," I conclude.

"Yes," Pitch agrees.

"So...anyone else want to go up?" Elsa said after she tosses away Monokuma's sticker into the trash.

"No way am I doing it!" Rapunzel declares.

"I'm interested," Pitch said. "But I want to quickly study first."

"Not me," I said. "I'm not that good with games."

"Not tonight," Jack said.

"Same here," Maui said. "Besides, I'm going to stay up again way finding."

"Don't know what you can find with all these lights around," Jack comments.

"Then I'll go before we all head off," Merida said as she steps on the stage.

I lean into the bars as I watch the floor light up. I wonder what her game is. What can be waiting for the Ultimate Heiress.

Player: Merida Dunbroch

Suddenly, a bow and an arrow were flung to her. That caught me off guard. Why would she have a bow and arrow if she's supposed to be the Ultimate Heiress? Turns out I wasn't the only one surprised as everyone else leaned in closer to the stage to watch.

Without hesitating, Merida picked up the bow and arrow and looked the screen. It reads...

'Hit the target in the bullseye '

The curtains opened up to reveal a wall with a small red and white circle target. It rapidly bounces all over the wall at almost cheetah speed. Then, something clamped Merida's legs and made her wiggle from side to side.

Taking a deep breath and getting use to her body movements, Merida took aim at the wall. I can't see through her big hair, but I think she's trying to watch the movements of the target. After a tense few minutes, she lets go over the string and shot the arrow. It manages to hit the target...but just on an outer ring of white.

The floor turned red, and the curtain closed. Merida dropped her bow and steps off. When Monokuma was about to give her a sticker, she took it and smacked it onto Monokuma's body.

We all looked at her stunned, and confused.

She nearly shrugs at us, "at least you guys know my true talent."

"So you really are the Ultimate Archer," Pitch said with great interest.

Merida nods.

"But then why would that bear lie about your talent?" Fishlegs asks.

"I do not lie!" He said angry. "Her record shows her that she's the Ultimate Heiress."

"Yeah," she agrees. "That's what it says on paper, but not who I really am."

"Care to explain then?" Jack asks curious.

Merida groans before grabbing something under the collar of her shirt. With her finger, she pulls of a silver chain that was hidden there. Attached to the chain, was a small medallion with three bear carvings in it, surrounded by small turquoise gems.

"This...is the symbol of my family," Merida explains. "It was also the gift I got during the first motive."

"It belonged to your family?" Maui asks.

"It belonged to my mother," Merida answers, putting the necklace down her shirt. "Because of my family's status, I was brought up to be a 'proper lady'. Her voice turned a disgusting turn when she said those words.

"My mother was practically in charge of everything I do," she continued. "Teaching me how to eat properly, how to sit right, and when is the appropriate time to speak. It was a nightmare growing up like that. Everything weighted on you as long as you keep up appearances and don't make any choices to your life. The only time I ever felt free was when I rode on my horse I to the woods. It was there I picked up on archery. I managed to get good in it. So much that I actually disguised myself to enter competitions."

"Wow," I said.

"But I didn't know Hope's peak was keeping tabs on me," she said leaning on the steps of the stage. "So when I got my letter to attend the school, I was beyond amazed. But my mother wasn't thrilled. She told me I couldn't go, and that should be studying to be a lady."

"That sounds terrible," Rapunzel said.

"But...thanks to my status, I was able to contact the school and told them about my plight. So they came up with the plan. They sent another letter; telling my mom that there has been a typo, and that I was accepted as the Ultimate Heiress. It made my mother so happy that I could go. But when I get there, they'll make it look like I'm there as the Ultimate Heiress, but I'll be studying as the Ultimate Archer. At least that was the plan until this happened."

"Phuhuhuhu," the bear said. "Such an unfortunate situation you're in."

"So, there you go!" She said slapping her knees as she rose up. "That's my story."

"That's quiet the story," Pitch comments.

"I wanted to prove to myself that can get out of my mother's shadow. That I can do things on my own," Merida spat. But her face quickly softens back to a childlike demeanor. "But...if I learned anything from this...is that I don't want to be alone like this."

I took the initiative and put my arm around her. "You're not alone in this."

Everyone agreed and nod their heads. It seems that we are finally warming up to one another.

But...it only takes one mistake to break that trust.

Tv shows for kids really harp on the power of friendship crap; how being nice to everyone will eventually get what you want in the end. But does that really achieve any result. It doesn't make you win; it makes you a door mat. So I say kick around all those so call friends and prove you're at the top of your game.
