Sorry, this took so long, Crisis on Earth-X pt. 1, but I did add a star wars mission. Season four episodes 11 and 12. For those who haven't read Windcaster, Esinon is now a gray Jedi and has a yellow, double-bladed saber
The fateful wedding of Barry and Iris is now three weeks away, war still wages in dimension three, now reaching the peaceful planet of Kiros, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and their padawans have been sent to deal with the threat.
Three weeks before Barry and Iris's wedding…
"It's been ten rotations since Master Yoda's last transmission. I just hope we're not too late." Anakin said to Obi-Wan, Esinon kept her eyes fixed on the beautiful planet in front of her.
"Rex, take us down," Obi-Wan instructed,
"Yes sir," the large cruisers entered the planet's atmosphere, Esinon stretched a bit, as her master, Ahsoka, and Anakin climbed onto speeders, with a portion of the 501st and the 212th.
"Are you sure you don't need a ride Commander Blur?" Trigger asked he was shiny right off from Kamino, oblivious to the fact that his commander could run over Mach 2.
"They call me Blur for a reason ya know, but I'll try to keep up," she said with a crooked grin on her face, the ships opened up and the speeders rode out, she ran keeping pace with the speeders, she winked at Trigger as she caught up to her master and Rex's speeder. She looked around at the small village,
"Anybody else think it's too quiet? I haven't seen any colonists."
"They're probably just hiding," Obi-Wan said, noting the ghostliness of the village.
"Let's hope they stay hidden, makes our job a lot easier if we don't have to worry about them in battle," Rex added,
"I don't like it, the droids have never been shy about using civilians as living shields," Esinon said,
"I'm sure they're here somewhere, let's make for the city center," Anakin said, they all pressed forward. Esinon still didn't like the lack of colonists. A few droids pulled out in front of them,
"Biker droids! Dead ahead." Ahsoka called,
"Squad! Tighten up! Form on me." Anakin instructed starting to go faster, Rex released fire as the droids started to charge them, Esinon ignited her lightsaber, deflecting some of the beams. She chased one of them down making quick work of the droid. The bulk of the bikers had fallen behind the troops,
"Careful! They're circling around!" She called, Ahsoka and Rex flipped around raining fire down upon the droids, one left, Esinon jumped on top of the droid slicing its head off and stabbing her saber through the speeder, she caught back up with everyone else. "We're clear." They pulled towards the city center to see a squadron of droids, blue laser fire began to intermix with the red, she saw a tank starting to lower its canon, she leaped onto the top opening the hatch, she stabbed her saber through the commando droid in front of her, she turned the tank on the other one and fired. She jumped out the top, dropping a charge into the tank and jumping off, landing next to her master. KABOOM! The tank exploded, Esinon smiled satisfied with her handiwork. They pulled into the city center,
"Captain, have your men secure the perimeter. Esinon, go with him and run reconnaissance." her master instructed,
"Yes master," she took off with the 501st.
Later…
She hung onto Boil's shoulder as the walker rocked back and forth,
"Boil, how's it going?" Obi-Wan asked,
"We're still mopping up a few clankers here and there, sir. We've established a perimeter around the Governor's tower. No one gets out without a fight."
"Good work," he replied, Esinon jumped down from the walker to join her master, "Cody, any word from the Separatist commander?" he asked,
"He's barricaded inside," Cody said, pointing up at the tower. The two Jedi looked up and then to each other.
"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Obi-Wan asked,
"Well, there's two ways we can do this, negotiator, or lightsaber's blazing. Your pick, I picked last time." Esinon said,
"Before we do that, his name is Darts D' Nar. He's sent you a message." Cody held out the communicator, a Zygerrian appeared,
"Master Kenobi, come to the tower. We'll discuss the terms of surrender," he said, Obi-Wan looked at the tower.
"That was easy." the communicator flew from Cody's hand into Anakin's.
"Zygerian scum," he growled, crushing the communicator in his metal hand. "I'll handle that slaver."
"Anakin, he asked for me," Obi-Wan said, putting a hand on his old apprentice's shoulder. "I need you to locate the missing Togrutan colonists."
"Fine. I'll have Admiral Yularen initiate a planetary bio scan." Anakin said grumpily,
"Use your speed to search the village as well," Obi-Wan said under his breath starting to walk towards the tower.
"Master, wait, this feels really trappy." she said, "Are you sure you don't want me to come with you?"
"I'm sure, now go find the colonists please." she sighed before she took off running, she checked, every house, no colonists. Ok, maybe she didn't look hard enough, she checked again. Still no one. She pressed her comlink,
"Anakin, there are no colonists anywhere in the village."
"Can you search the planet?"
"Sure, but I'll need something to eat when I get back or I'm gonna pass out," she replied, with her new speedster diet when she used her speed, was difficult, to say the least, to accommodate on missions, but the council knew that it was a great asset for the war, so she had stopped by Central City to grab some of Barry's special protein bars.
"That's fine," she took off running around the entire planet of Kiros, a few minutes later she skidded to a halt in the city center.
"I searched the entire planet, twice. The people simply are not here," she said, grabbing a bar off of the speeder.
"Then where are they?" Ahsoka asked Anakin's comlink chirped,
"No, you are wrong Jedi." Darts D' Nar's voice answered,
"Am I? You are no doubt aware that your droid forces have been destroyed. You are surrounded Do the honorable thing and surrender now." Obi-Wan said calmly, "I promise you will receive fair treatment."
"You think you've won? Think again. I've planted bombs all over the city." All of them looked at each other, "No one will survive. Now surrender." D' Nar growled,
"Well, if you aren't bluffing I must concede. But you'll have to make considerations. First, you release the colonists."
"Here's my counter offer." An explosion shot into the sky, they all dove out of the way of the falling debris, they all turned to the smoking pile of rubble.
"Is everybody ok!" she shouted, most responded with yes, but there were clones who were too close. She knelt down next to a trooper, he seized in pain. "I need a medic! You're gonna be ok," she tried her best to soothe him until a medic arrived. She ran over to Anakin, "We don't have time to do a planetary bio scan, I have an idea."
"I'm all ears."
A few minutes later…
She finished attaching the harness to the speeder, sliding the latter half on her back. Ahsoka and Anakin climbed into the speeder and held on tight, she took off running through the city, the first bomb spotted. She stopped allowing the two Jedi to get off, she couldn't leave the speeder, since she was currently attached to it. Anakin and Ahsoka made quick work of the droids, Ahsoka pulled off the panel.
"Um, how do we disarm these?" Anakin slashed it with his lightsaber the bomb stopped beeping,
"How did you that would work?"
"I trust my instincts," Anakin said, they both climbed back in the speeder,
"You mean you guessed," Esinon muttered,
"It was an educated guess," he said, "Now let's go," she took off running. Soon they had destroyed seven of the nine bombs, she skidded to a halt,
"Last two," they jumped off,
"I'll cover you! Defuse the bombs!" Anakin said deflecting the blasts, Ahsoka pulled the panel off the bomb, the other one started to beep.
"Master, the bombs, they're linked,"
"You need to defuse them, not activate them!" he shouted,
"Droids on the roof!" Droids pulled out, he kept deflecting the blasts, backing towards the bombs. Esinon detached the harness,
"We have to disconnect them at the same time." A blast fired, Destroyers pulled out from the balcony, firing sniper blasts.
"Snipers!" Both Anakin and Ahsoka dashed out of the way to safety.
"I'll draw their fire, destroy the bombs!" she shouted running into the crossfire, both the snipers started to focus their fire on her, she reflected each blast swiftly, she ran up the side of the wall, she tackled the droid to the ground stabbing her saber through it. She threw her saber sending the yellow double blades into the second one. She heard the beeping fade to see Ahsoka and Anakin had diffuse the bombs. They began to walk towards the speeders, a loud explosion sounded in the distance, Esinon's comlink chirped,
"Esinon, Esinon come in. D' Nar is making his escape from the tower."
"We'll catch him," Esinon said, she had to admit, she was getting tired. She had been running more than she usually would on an average day.
"We'll never catch him in time," Ahsoka said, noticing Esinon struggling to catch her breath.
"I'm not letting that slaver scum get away." Anakin said, he climbed onto the speeder with Ahsoka. "Esinon, go back to the base. We'll handle this." The two Jedi sped off,
"Ok, guess I'll make the lonely walk back to camp," she said to herself, beginning to walk in the direction of the base.
A few minutes later…
Anakin and Ahsoka had the slaver, she sat on a crate eating a bar trying to get her energy back.
"Esinon, time to report," she stood next to her master as they reported back to the council.
"I searched the village multiple times, if the colonists were there I would have found them," Esinon replied to the question of where the colonists were.
"What about the rest of the planet?" Master Windu asked,
"I ran around it twice, they are simply aren't there. The most likely explanation is the Separatists took all of them as hostages. The people of Kiros are peaceful, and wouldn't know how to revolt."
"Those are my people," Ahsoka said quietly, Esinon could sense her worry.
"Troubling is the return of the Zygerrians." Master Yoda said,
"It's likely that they mean to use Dooku to rebuild their slave empire." Master Plo said,
"We can not allow that Master," Anakin said,
"Agree I do, but find the colonists first, we must. In great danger they are."
"What is it, Master?" Plo asked,
"Sense a darker hand I do in this mystery, slavery, a great tool it is for the rise of the sith."
A few hours later…
Esinon fiddled with the sleeve of her tunic as the ship drew Zygerria, other ships moved towards the planet as well.
"Looks like Zygerria is a popular place these days," Anakin muttered,
"It sure is attracting a lot of high class, scum." Obi-Wan quipped,
"Let's just hope that the information that our spies gave us is accurate," Rex said, soon the ship landed on the surface, she held her helmet under her arm, focusing on trying to tuck her padawan braid into her hair.
"Remember, I'll keep the queen occupied while you guys find the missing people of Kiros," Anakin said putting his own helmet on.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Obi-Wan asked,
"With my magnetic charm of course." Anakin boasted,
"What's plan B?" Esinon asked, adopting her Master's sardonic tone.
"Haha, very funny." she put her own helmet on her head, "Hold onto this for me will you buddy?" Anakin tossed Artoo his lightsaber, she and Obi-Wan did the same. The door to the ship opened letting them out, this planet just felt disgusting, the force felt sad and pained here.
"Remind me again why I'm playing the slave?" Ahsoka asked her master,
"I tried it once, wasn't very good at it. Besides the role of Master comes easy to me."
"Oh really? Well, try to be convincing at it this time." Ahsoka snipped, the group walked into the Zygerrian complex, hoards of people moved around, it looked like a market.
"How could anyone even entertain the idea of this?" she asked, disgusted by the sights she saw in front of her.
"It makes them wealthy and powerful, and people will do anything for power," Obi-Wan answered a twi'lek fell down in front of them,
"Get up you filthy skug!" the Zygerrian yelled,
"Master, the bonds are too heavy," the twi'lek replied weakly, struggling to get to his feet.
"Tell it to my whip." The Zygerrian raised an electrified whip, Ahsoka caught his hand,
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," she growled,
"You dare touch me!" he shouted, he raised his whip to strike Ahsoka, Anakin pushed her out of the way,
"Excuse my slave friend, she is freshly caught," the Zygerrian paused looking at their armor,
"What have we here? You wear Zygerrian armor, but you are not one of us. Who are you?"
"I've come for an audience with the queen," Anakin stated boldly,
"Then you have an invitation? We can't just let anyone in to see her majesty."
"No invitation, but I do bring news, news the Queen will be eager to hear," he said keeping his cool,
"I doubt that you're nothing more than a brigand." the Zygerrian scoffed,
"I wouldn't say that, especially when the Queen learns you prevented her learning the news of Bruno Denturri." small camera orbs surrounded them,
"Cease all hostility, this man is to be brought to the palace immediately. By the order of the Queen." the robotic voice stated, Obi-Wan motioned for her to go with Anakin she gave a slight nod, following the Zygerrians. They made their way through the streets, the palace coming into view, the throne room. A Zygerrian woman sat on a throne,
"Make all the preparations for the evening, and fetch refreshments." the Queen ordered, she looked over to the people entering her court. The Zygerrian guard stepped towards the queen, stooping a low bow.
"My queen I present Lars Quells." Esinon was tempted to roll her eyes, really? Fine, don't mention me. She thought to herself.
"So you are the man who claims to be acquainted with Bruno Denturri?"
"Yes, your highness." Anakin took off his helmet, flipping his hair out of his eyes. Keep the sarcasm in, she reminded herself, "He did not mention your ravishing beauty," the queen smiled for a second, before a snarl formed on her face,
"Did he also speak of my deep hatred for him!" she lashed out, "Or did that escape his mind as well." The guards aimed their guns at them, Anakin kept his cool, putting his finger against the gun and lowering it from his face. The other guards did the same,
"He need not speak of it highness, in fact, Bruno Denturri will never be speaking again."
"What do you mean?" the queen asked, confused.
"Bruno Denturri is dead by my hand." Anakin boasted, "here is a slave from his palace, compensation for my efforts." he pushed Ahsoka forward, not enough to hurt her, he pulled off the cloak that Ahsoka was wearing, revealing a blue and gold outfit.
"Unhand me, brigand!" Ahsoka shouted, Anakin gave her a confused look, Ahsoka glanced at the queen to see if it worked. The queen stood up from her throne, the others in the room knelt down, Anakin put a hand on Ahsoka shoulder, she knelt as well, the queen gracefully walked down the steps.
"You impress me, Lars Quell. She is quite the prize." the queen looked Ahsoka over, "And to have defeated him in combat, you must be quite the warrior." the queen glanced over at Esinon, before focusing back on Ahsoka. "You have failed to introduce your friend Lars Quells."
"This is…"
"Aspen Quells," Esinon filled in, thinking of a name quick on the spot,
"My sister," Anakin finished,
"And did she help?"
"Yes," Anakin said,
"Well, Bruno always knew how to pick a beautiful female." the queen said stroking Ahsoka's shoulder. She moved away,
"Don't you dare touch me," Ahsoka growled,
"Though she will have to be processed, her temperament leaves much to be desired. What is your price for her?" the queen asked,
"With respect, how can I price the beauty of this slave, when I gaze upon the magnificence of your highness. Who's beauty would make the brightest stars seem dull." The Queen laughed,
"Lars Quell, you flatter me."
"No your majesty," Anakin started to whisper in the Queen's ear.
"I'm gonna vomit," Esinon whispered to Ahsoka,
"I think I might too," she muttered,
"Stop it, stop it!" the Queen swatted Anakin away, "You're a bold one, aren't you."
"My reputation precedes me then,"
"Perhaps we can find a way to put a price on your slave. Come, walk with me," she said, Anakin took her arm and they followed after. They walked up the balcony, "Slavery is the natural order of things, the weak deserve nothing more than to kneel before the strong, bound to service." the Twi'lek offered drinks to the Queen and Anakin. "I will need more men of your talent to spread our ideas across the galaxy." Esinon noticed a golden knife underneath the tray that twi'lek was holding, in an instant, the twi'lek raised the knife, she caught the twi'leks hand, pulling the knife out of her hand, gently.
"Let go of me!" she shrieked, Esinon let go and the twi'lek stumbled backward, she stepped towards the Twi'lek.
"You dare raise a hand against your master?" the Queen said in disgust and anger, "Clearly you require further processing."
"No, no, I won't go back to that place!" she cried, she stood on the edge of the balcony, she held out her arms,
"Wait! Stop!" Esinon yelled the twi'lek jumped from the balcony, a sickening crack sounded from below. Esinon ran over to the balcony's edge and looked down.
"Such a waste," the Queen said, not at all bothered by the dead body that lay below. "But perhaps she was more trouble than she was worth." Anakin put a hand on Esinon's shoulder, Don't break cover, he heard his voice say in her head, she took a deep breath and collected herself. "But you Aspen, you are quite resourceful. Very well, I will pay the price for you and your brother's slave. "It seems I am in need of a new servant," she said smiling at Ahsoka.
"She is a gift to you your highness," Esinon replied,
"You are a woman of many surprises, it pleases me. I wish for you and your brother to be my guests at the slave auction and sit at my side."
A few hours later…
Esinon pulled Anakin aside,
"I sense a disturbance in the force,"
"I sensed it too, but we need to focus on the mission at hand."
"Ok," she responded, they joined the queen, the roar of the crowd was deafening. How could this many people profit from slavery?
"Your highness, Zygerrians, and guests from a thousand worlds! Our auction begins with slaves of unmatched quality, and impossible quantity!" the announcer's voice boomed over the loudspeaker, "Starting with Togruta from the Kiros system!" the doors opened, Governor Roshti was shoved out,
"Oh, no," Ahsoka whispered the Governor looked tired and weak,
"This handsome sample represents a lot numbering no less than 50,000!" the speakers crackled as the crowd roared, "Virtually untrained in combat, there will be no rebellion from these slaves!" Anakin and Esinon made eye contact, well they knew that the people of Kiros were here.
"So, where do you keep 50,000 slaves, like the people of Kiros?" Anakin asked the queen was about to answer when they were interrupted by a guard.
"Your majesty, I have urgent news." the guard whispered something in her ear, the queen stood up stopping the auction for a moment, raising her hands to silence the pounding of the cheers.
"Before we begin the auction, I welcome a most special guest. Obi-Wan Kenobi. Jedi Knight." Esinon's eyes went wide, she saw the doors open and her master was shoved out, he shielded his eyes from the bright sunlight, the crowd jeered and yelled,
"Whip the Jedi!"
"The Jedi are not so tough!"
"My friends, my good friends, do not fear the Jedi! He is no different from others we have forced into submission, for they have forsaken their ideals to serve a corrupt senate. Every Jedi has become a slave to the Republic." the queen announced, Obi-Wan made eye contact with Esinon, she could sense his slight fear, but mostly pain, it wasn't looking good right now. "The Jedi Order is weak, and we will help break it." the stadium reverberated in approval, the queen picked up a whip handing it to Esinon, "Teach the Jedi his place." Esinon took the whip and walked down into the stadium, she climbed up on the platform, where Obi-Wan was kneeling with his hands on his head.
"Whip the Jedi! Whip the Jedi!" the crowd cried,
"Looks like I have to save you again old man," she said,
"I knew you'd have a back-up plan," he muttered, panting, she looked up the balcony, where Artoo was lining up.
"Prove to me you are a slaver! Swing that whip, or die beside him." the queen ordered,
"Well, those are some lousy options." she muttered, she stooped into a low bow igniting the whip, "You leave me no choice highness!" she saluted the blue droid, she threw the whip snatching the guard's gun away, Obi-Wan rolled using the force to throw the guard off the platform, Artoo fired their sabers, she caught both igniting her own, the yellow blades flashing angrily in the face of the guards. Obi-Wan ran past her, she tossed his saber to him, they stood back to back,
"Guards subdue them!" the queen shouted, blaster fire rained down upon them, she deflected the blasts. Anakin jumped down into the arena and joined them,
"Ahsoka the Queen!" he yelled, the doors opened and twenty more guards flooded the arena. Esinon flipped up to the platform, she used her saber to deflect the whip blasts, she heard yelling, and Obi-Wan falling underneath the whips. She grabbed the end of a whip that was coming at her and threw the guard over her head. She stayed agile deflecting each blast and dodging all the whips. She heard more yelling to see Anakin falling to the ground as well, she was surrounded now. She turned to fight off another guard when she felt a sting on her wrist. Another, throwing her saber from her hand. She gritted her teeth, outstretching her hand to call her saber, but it was dragged down by another whip, another hit her foot. She grunted in pain trying to desperately get back to her saber. A few more hit her neck, she yelped in pain, she kept going the electricity was wearing her out, she pulled the guards with her only a few feet more until her saber, the electricity increased, she fell to her knees in exhaustion, her hand curling under the electricity, until everything went dark.
A few hours later…
Esinon opened her eyes in a flash, every memory of what had just happened,
"Master!" she yelled, she paused looking around, she was in a pit of some sort, with bars lining the top. She looked up at her hands, which were dangling above her head in chains. There had to be a way out of here, she could feel something around her neck. A shock collar most likely, the queen had put one on Ahsoka as well. A loud groan sounded from above, the metal grate slid open the Queen and a few of her guards descended into the pit of darkness. Esinon wanted so badly to blast them with lightning and escape while the top was still open, but she had no idea where her friends were, so she would have to be patient.
"Commander Blur, if I'm not mistaken." the Queen began,
"Only my troops may call me that, you can call me Commander Windcaster," Esinon said calmly, the queen waved a hand, a guard pressed a button. Esinon yelled in pain as an electric shock was sent throughout her body, another, he screams echoed through the empty cauldron. The pain finally stopped, she panted trying to catch her breath.
"First thing you will learn here, is that you never talk back to your master." Esinon gritted her teeth, keeping her mouth shut.
One week until Barry and Iris's wedding…
Esinon's screams echoed as she tried to withstand the whip stinging against her back, it had been two weeks of this torture. She fell to her knees as the whip stopped, a guard grabbed a fist full of her hair, wrenching her head to look up at his. She bared her teeth towards him, he pulled out a knife.
"You have not been behaving Jedi, you will come to my submission," he growled,
"I will never." she spat back, he ran the knife along the edge of her jawbone,
"Something tells me you need a little more persuasion." he took the knife slashing through her hair. Her Padawan braid fell to the floor, he continued until she had only hair left to her jawline, she whimpered at the sight of her padawan braid on the ground. "Jedi scum," he kicked her one last time. All hope was lost, she felt like crying, screaming, yelling for someone to come to comfort her, to free her from this hell, but nothing would come out.
A few hours later…
She had been alone for a while, usually, someone was along to yell at her some more, but she hadn't seen any guards in a while. A few more minutes of silence and the groan of the ceiling opening sounded again. A few guards descended, they wrenched her to her feet, she grunted, pain ripped through her body.
"The queen wants to see you," they growled, attaching cuffs to her wrists, Esinon kept quiet hoping to avoid the end of the whips at their sides. They led her to the castle where the queen was waiting, Anakin at her side.
His eyes went wide at the sight of his friend, she was covered in bruises and long marks where a whip would have hit. Her hair was jaggedly cut, and her padawan braid gone.
"Commander Blur, I came to check on your progress." Esinon kept her head down,
"Much better, I also have to inform you that the palace is becoming your permanent resident, I will processing you myself from now on," she commanded to the guards,
"Wait, highness, may I have a word with my friend?" Anakin asked politely,
"Very well Skywalker, make it quick," Esinon looked up to see the queen waving the guards away, Anakin came over,
"Are you ok?" he asked, noticing her tired slump,
"Even though I haven't been running, my metabolism is catching up. I'm running out of steam. Have you found Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, or Rex yet?"
"No, I can't get away from the queen. I don't think that Obi-Wan or Rex are still on the planet."
"You have to get that information out of the queen and soon," Esinon muttered tiredly,
"The Queen said that if I swore allegiance to her, she would let you guys go."
"Anakin, you can't. It doesn't help the people of Kiros and we have to go all together." she said firmly, "Just get the information of where everyone is out of the Queen and then come get me. We can't break out without them. We need to find them quick, I can sense Obi-Wan, he's struggling." Anakin could sense that Esinon was struggling, and with the extra weight of Obi-Wan's troubles, it was becoming a lot for her to handle.
"Hang on a little longer, I'll see if I can get you some extra food tonight. I have to stay in the palace as well."
"You're the best,"
"Time's up Skywalker," the queen said, the guards came back, dragging Esinon away, she followed after them, she glanced back at Anakin. A little longer, a little longer,
Three days until Barry and Iris's wedding…
She lay in a cage high above the throne room, hanging like a bird. She felt a disturbance perking her head up, she looked down upon the throne room. The doors opened and Count Dooku walked in, he hadn't sensed her yet. She kept quiet, and shrunk her movement,
"I wasn't expecting you Count, not without an invitation." the Queen began,
"But I was invited, by your faithful advisor. He's concerned over how attached you've become to Skywalker." the Count said moving towards the throne,
"Skywalker, is a symbol of my-" she paused, "our power to enslave even Jedi."
"Your power of him is an illusion. You forget I was a Jedi once."
"You have little in common with Anakin," the Queen said, meeting Dooku on the floor. "Please hear my plans for the Jedi, then decide." Esinon shifted slightly, poking her head out.
"Right now at my facility in the Kadavo system, Obi-Wan Kenobi is in despair." her eyes went wide, Kadavo system? Where was Anakin, they needed to break out now.
"I'm listening," Dooku and Obi-Wan had long-time beef, if she was honest with herself, her master had beef with most of the Separatist leaders.
"Kenobi is coming to realize, perhaps for the first time in his life, that his efforts to help others will only injure them. As plans for escape and rescue fade, the gnawing fear that he will never be able to take action will grow in Kenobi's heart. To ease the burden of his fellow slaves, defiance will become compliance. Starting with their padawans." she laughed, "Imagine… imagine an army of Jedi at your service. Zygerria will be invincible."
"An ambitious plan, your majesty. Only my goal is not the enslavement of the Jedi Order, but it's extermination. I have come to supervise their execution, perform it if necessary. Now, summon Skywalker." Was this how she was gonna die?
"I have no desire to end Skywalker's life. He has become a valuable asset to me and my throne." the queen said,
"Your compliance is not optional. I command you to kill Skywalker." the queen whipped around pointing an angry finger in his face,
"I will not be ordered around in my own palace, Count!" the queen shouted,
"If you will not obey, perhaps your prime minister will."
"Atai, what does he mean?"
"I'm sorry your majesty, but the Count is right. The Jedi should die. You're not fit to be queen anymore."
"Atai you traitor!" the queen shrieked, she ignited her whip, cracking it, "I'll make both of you pay for this treachery." Dooku raised his hand, the queen gasped for breath, pulling at the invisible hands around her throat.
"Punishment for a slave who disobeys her master." The doors opened, Anakin came running in,
"That's enough Dooku!" the Count dropped the queen, she collapsed to the ground,
"Skywalker…" she said weakly before passing out,
"I see the Queen has given you a long leash, one more step and I end her life."
"Why do you think I care about this slaver scum?" Anakin asked,
"Indeed,"
"The Kadavo system! Anakin, go! I'll handle Dooku!" she yelled, she held up her hand to the chain on her cage. She crushed it in her fist using the force, her cage crashing to the ground, she threw a wall off of herself. Anakin ran out of the room,
"Young one, we meet again," Dooku said igniting his red lightsaber, she opened her hands, forming balls of lightning in her hands.
"I'm not so young anymore." she thrust the lightning at him, he deflected each blast, she couldn't use her speed or she would pass out and end up dead. She formed whips of lightning in her hands cracking them at Dooku, he used his own lighting to counteract her own. Her arms tightened, raising higher, pressing harder,
"You have become quite strong in the dark side, young one."
"I see you're not as talented with its abilities as you claim Count." she shot back, both relinquished, she panted, she was getting tired. She jumped trying to land a kick on his jaw, she got close but landed it on his chest instead. Dooku stumbled back a little bit but managed to slash at her arm, sending a cut down to her elbow.
Dooku used the force to shove her away from him, she landed on the floor, skidding into the bottom of the platform to the throne. Anakin was probably off the planet by now. She needed to go now, she scrambled to her feet, jumping to the window and out. She landed on the ground, searching for a ship, she spotted the exit of the complex. She took off sprinting towards it dodging past confused guards and some laser fire. Esinon looked around frantically for a ship, she looked to see a small fighter, she opened it quickly and jumped in. She took off from the dreaded planet of Zygerria, headed for the Kadavo system.
The Kadavo System…
Obi-Wan looked at the destroyed controls, he pressed his comlink,
"The controls are destroyed Master Plo, there's nothing we can do from here,"
"I can't move the cruiser in for the rescue until we get rid of these canons." Master Plo said, firing at the shielded turrets.
"I think I can help with that," Esinon said over the coms, Master Plo saw an unfamiliar ship fly through the arena of battle. The cockpit opened and Esinon landed on one of the turrets, she planted her hands firmly on the top and released a surge of electricity, the canon sputtered, she jumped as it exploded underneath her, she jumped to the next doing the same thing, "I'll take care of the canons, just tell that cruiser to get down here!" She jumped to the next turret doing the same thing, over and over again, this mission was taking its toll. Soon all of them were destroyed, "You're all clear Master Plo, bring the cruiser down to the landing pad." she said into the com.
"Cancel that order, Esinon. There's no way to get the people out of the holding cell and up to the landing platform. But I have an idea, we need to get the cruiser to move underneath the facility. We can escape onto that ship if Admiral Colbron can get close enough." the freighter was starting to come in, it pulled in underneath the holding cell. Esinon stood on the landing platform, she met up with her master, Anakin, and Rex, they ran into the gunship. The doors closed and pulled them off the platform, which looked like it was going to collapse soon. Anakin looked out of the gunship to see the cruiser pulling away,
"The cruiser is clear Master Plo,"
"All gunships fired!" she heard the crashing outside, she took a moment of pleasure, Zygerria was done again.
Back on the Republic Cruiser…
She walked with her master, Ahsoka, Master Plo, and Anakin
"I thank you Jedi, and the Republic for saving our lives." Governor Roshti said,
"Ahsoka is the real hero, without her creativity, I don't think we would have gotten your people to safety." Anakin said,
"Indeed, Padawan Tano, might I have a word in private?" the Governor asked,
"Of course," the two togruta walked off, the three Jedi started to walk towards the medical facility to check on their troops. Obi-Wan glanced at the large gash down her arm,
"What happened here?" he asked,
"Um… well Dooku is tough and I lost my lightsaber when they took it away. So I don't have that one anymore." she said, "Which sucks because I really liked that one."
"You mean this one?" Anakin asked holding her saber,
"What?! How'd you get this?" she asked taking in her hands,
"I knew where the queen was hiding it, so I stole it back and gave to Artoo for safekeeping," he said, smiling,
"Thank you so much!" she grinned,
"It's about time we both got to the bacta tank," Obi-Wan said looking at his own wounds,
"I hate the bacta tank," she mumbled,
"Also, Esinon about your hair, I called Senator Amidala to help you fix it. I'm sure we can also make you a new padawan braid. I mean you can't look terrible for that wedding." Anakin said,
"You never cease to amaze me." she said, "Are you, excited Master?"
"Well, time to meet all those friends that you always talk about from Earth-1," Obi-Wan said they started to walk off together,
"Bring me back more Doritos!" Anakin called after,
"You deserve 'em after saving me more than once!" She shouted back,
One day later…
The two Jedi held their bags in their hands,
"I'm gonna breach us to S.T.A.R labs because there will probably be people there instead of Joe's."
"This is your territory," Obi-Wan said, she pressed the button to her extrapolator, a breach opening in front of them. She stepped in first, he followed after, a flash of white, he squinted his eyes blinking them a few times looking around a lab.
"Cisco!" Esinon shouted, Obi-Wan watched his padawan and the Latino man embrace.
"How's it going? It's been so long!" Esinon looked over Cisco's shoulder, to see Harry.
"Harry? Oh my gosh!" she walked over hugging him, "How long have you been here?"
"A few months, decided to come visit." He responded Cisco walked up to Obi-Wan, sticking out his hand,
"Cisco Ramone, I don't know if you remember-"
"I do Mr. Ramone," Obi-Wan shook his hand, Iris and Caitlin walked into the Cortex,
"Esinon! You cut your hair," Iris said admiring the short cut,
"Yeah, part of the mission. Harry, Caitlin, Iris, this is my Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi."
"Nice to meet you all," he responded, giving a small wave. Esinon looked around the Cortex,
"Where's Barry?" she asked,
"Guys? I need a little help!" Barry's voice shouted over the coms,
"Shoot," Cisco ran back behind the console, "We're sending back-up," he said, Esinon nodded, double-tapped the bracelet on her wrist, suiting up once more. She took off running, through the familiar street of Central City, she caught up with Barry who was chasing after a few armored cars. The streak looked over at her,
"So your reinforcements?"
"I thought you'd be more happy to see me," she joked, the cars began to break off, "You take the one going right, I got left. Corner 'em in the city center." he nodded as the two speedsters broke off, she chased down the car, dodging bullets as she went, she zipped to the window grabbing the gun out of his hand, using her super speed, she got into the car, throwing the first criminal into the back now restrained with some of her nanotech. She grabbed the wheel out of the other's hand, using the force to steer the car, while she made quick work of the villain, throwing him in the back restrained as well. She drove the car down the street to the city center, she parked it stepping out of the car, where Joe and Captain Singh were standing. "Threat neutralized, soon Barry pulled up as well."
"Bad guys are in the back,"
"Thank you Flash and Clairvoyance." Captain Singh said, Joe just kinda stood there in shock,
"You're welcome Captain," she and Barry took off back towards S.T.A.R labs, Barry pulled off his cowl, Esinon taking her mask off.
"When did you get here?"
"Two minutes ago," she grinned as she and Barry hugged,
"Wow your hair is different," he said stopping to look at her,
"Yeah, mission complications," her hand moved to where her silk beaded padawan braid was hanging, memories of Zygerria flashing through her mind. Obi-Wan came and stood next to her, sensing her anxiety, she sensed his presence calming down.
"Here, give me your suit. Fifteen year old was smaller than seventeen year old you." Cisco said she double-tapped her emblem the suit shrinking back to her bracelet and handing it to Cisco.
"Windcaster, I have something for you and Allen to try, let's go," Harry said, walking towards Cisco's lab. Esinon looked around as the Cortex filled with chatter, this felt so nice. No war, no council, no troops, no battles, just her and her friends, two dimensions away from being Commander Blur, she could just be Esinon here.
A few minutes later…
Harry handed the MAD device to Esinon,
"Alright, I modified the MAD 2.0 to work on access your guy's force bond. Particularly the adopting one another's powers," he said fixing the other link to Barry's head as she stuck the MAD to her own forehead.
"You ready?" she asked Barry as Harry finished calibrating the device.
"Ready as I'll ever be," he said, both of them closed their eyes in concentration. Esinon could feel her whole body start to tingle, it was working. Both opened their eyes, Esinon held up a phasing hand and a few objects were starting to float around Barry.
"Looks like it worked," Esinon said
"So are our original powers still there?"
"From what I've gathered, the force bond allows to pull from strengths and cover weaknesses. You are drawing from Esinon's strengths and vice versa." Harry said, "Now I guess you just practice," Iris walked in,
"Esinon, if your not too busy Caitlin and a few other of the girls and I are going to get our nails done if you want to come." Esinon removed the MAD from her head and handed it to Harry,
"Sounds fun!"
A few hours later…
Esinon sat in a chair, in a nail salon, feeling slightly tense around some of these women who she didn't know very well. Felicity handed Iris a glass of champagne.
"Iris, you are absolutely glowing."
"Thank you,"
"Wait, it's pregnant women who glow, brides blush," Caitlin said,
"Right, blushing bride I can do, the other one, not just yet," Iris said, with a huge smile on her face.
"Oh, it doesn't get much better than this ladies," Felicity said,
"I know, it feels so good to be away from it all." Kara said "Everything."
"Where's Mon-El?" Iris asked Kara, sighed,
"You know what? It's a long story, but thank you for letting me bring my sister as my plus - one."
"Yeah, absolutely. I'm actually really excited to meet her." Iris said,
"Me too," Felicity said, electricity crackled, Kara, whipped around to see the machine the woman was using to do her nail was now destroyed and smoking,
"Oh, I'm sorry! I should have warned you. I take a lot of keratin." she excused,
"Super strong nails," Felicity said, trying to help,
"So, you and Oliver? You guys next, you think to walk down the aisle?" Iris asked Felicity,
"Maybe once the city isn't being attacked and Oliver is no longer under indictment and he's spent enough time with his son…"
"So any day now," Caitlin said,
"Any day now," Felicity laughed,
"What about you Esinon? Any boys?" Felicity asked removing the topic of conversation from herself,
"Oh, no. You guys don't know this, but as part of my religion, I have to be celibate. So there aren't going to be any boys," Esinon said quickly,
"Well, that sucks," Sara said,
"I don't really have a problem with it, I've been doing this for eleven years now." Esinon quickly counted,
"I still remember being seventeen, things were so much simpler then," Kara said wistfully,
"Trust me, my being seventeen is a lot different than your seventeen. Most of my friends have the same face, nothing normal by your standards." Esinon said, rubbing her hands together, Caitlin raised her glass,
"To your big day," they all clinked glasses,
That night…
Obi-Wan followed his padawan through a large crowd of people inside the cafe, they sat down at a table. Obi-Wan watched people walk around the large party Esinon pointed out people as they went.
"The blonde with glasses is Felicity, the blond without glasses is Sara. She's aggressive towards new people, be careful. The blond up there is Kara, she can fly, the two men back there are Jax and Professor Stein." he started to space out, as the music lulled him into a trance. A few minutes later he heard a glass clink. The man named Joe stood in front of them,
"The old man would like to say a few words," he joked, "What can I possibly say about Barry and Iris that everyone in this room doesn't already know? How they're special and kind, and brave. But we all know that so, I'm gonna talk to you all about somebody you might not know. Me. For the longest time, I have been happy just to be Dad to these two. And then Wally and Esinon come along," Obi-Wan glanced at his padawan, Joe must think of Esinon as a daughter. It did kinda make sense, Joe had shared many memories of Esinon when they were at S.T.A.R labs. "and then watching them face what they have in the last few years with grace and trust, and love, so much love… You see two people who love like that and you want it too." he reached out his hand to a small woman on the side,
"Oh I'm in the speech," she said excitedly,
"Yes, you are. So, Barry, Iris, thank you for showing me how to love again. For showing me that love is the most important thing we have. I love you guys." Joe raised his glass, "To Barry and Iris,"
"To Barry and Iris." the room chorused.
Esinon smiled as Joe finished his speech,
"Where did you stay while you were here?" Obi-Wan asked, Esinon paused for a second, Obi-Wan never asked about her time on Earth-1.
"I stayed with Joe, I went to school here as well. Barry and Wally also lived there," she answered,
"Do other people have powers like his?"
"Yes, they are called meta-humans. We took on a lot, most of my time on Earth-1 was spent being Clairvoyance."
"And that's the suit you were wearing today?" he asked, processing all of her answers.
"Well, it's my secret identity. So people can't come and find me."
"So that's why you wear the mask?" he asked,
"Yes," she said,
"Oliver, I don't want to marry you!" Felicity shouted, every head turned in the room and then turned away.
"That's awkward," Obi-Wan muttered to himself, Esinon punched him in the shoulder.
"Anakin's rubbing off on you," she grumbled,
Three am the next morning…
Barry woke up with a start, someone was downstairs, he looked over to see Iris still asleep next to him. He zipped out of his bed careful not to wake her, he looked into the kitchen to see Esinon sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Hey,"
"What are you doing in my apartment?" he asked,
"Joe got called on patrol early this morning and asked for coffee. We were out. I was trying not to wake you up, but force bond." Barry stared at her haircut for a minute,
"What was your last mission,"
"Oh, nothing," she said focusing her attention back onto the coffee.
"Esinon." Barry crossed his arms,
"Fine, Zygerrian slave empire. I got captured, we all did and we suffered because of it," she said,
"War?"
"Yes, which is why I'm excited for tonight, fair warning Cisco and I are going to be slaying it on the dance floor," she said with a huge smile on her face.
"Oh gosh, how's Obi-Wan. Does he like it here so far?" Barry asked,
"I think so, he's kinda quiet. Last night he finally asked me about my time here, so steps forward."
"Wait, he never asks about it?" Barry confusedly asked,
"Nope, he never wants to talk about it, only Anakin asks." she said, pouring the coffee, "I gotta get back to the house, see you at the wedding." she zipped off, Barry blinked for a moment,
"Wow, super annoying, gotta remember that."
The next morning...
Obi-Wan sat at the table with a holoprojector, Esinon had managed to connect it to the council back in Dimension 3. He sipped his coffee,
"This meeting is adjourned," Master Windu said, the projection disappeared, Wally and Joe came into the room.
"What was that about?" Wally asked stifling a yawn,
"I had some Jedi business to attend to." It was about eight am now, the wedding was at ten. The two Jedi had been awake for hours now, having to take care of morning meditation and there run. Esinon was upstairs busy getting ready for the wedding. They heard a yell from upstairs,
"Śrāpa cha ki jā'ijēriyana slēbhara maila! Zygerria sabai śrāpa! Ma tyahām̐ pachāḍi jānchu ra lā'iṭasābēra linchu ra lā'īphaphŏrmakō lāgi tyō kurūpa bahānā mārphata churā'um̐dacha!" Esinon screamed angrily, Joe and Wally looked to Obi-Wan who was sitting calmly at the table.
"Do you know what she just said?"
"No, but she's not in a good mood after our recent mission."
"Ma āśā gardachu ki unīharūkō graha visphōṭa hunēcha!" they heard her shout again,
"That sounds like Nepali, but something different about it." Wally said,
"She's speaking Ewok," Obi-Wan stated calmly, acting like this was a natural occurrence,
"E- what now?" Joe asked,
"It's her homeworld," Esinon stormed downstairs into the kitchen looking for burn cream her hair half done.
"Sorry Master," she grumbled, walking back upstairs,
"What was your guy's most recent mission?" Joe asked, staring at the stairs where the grumpy teen had just been.
"Complicated," he muttered,
Two hours later…
Esinon could feel the weight of the lightsaber on the holt on her leg, under her dress. Maybe she was just getting too much of Barry's anxiety, but something was coming. She and her master walked into the church taking their seats in the pew. She noticed a bulge in her master's suit coat,
"So you sense it too," she said,
"Yes, something is coming, do you have your lightsaber?" he asked, she nodded,
"We could be wrong, but be prepared to fight," he said quietly,
"Heads up, blasters aren't a thing here. It's called it's a gun, it shoots small metal bullets and don't get hit by one." she said, Obi-Wan's eyes went wide for a second, "Um… nothing's probably gonna happen, so it'll be fine.." the two Jedi went quiet as the music started to play,
"Can't say how the days will unfold, can't change what the future may hold. But I want you in it, every hour, every minute. This world can race by far too fast, hard to see while it's all flying past." everyone stood facing the back as Iris walked down the aisle. Esinon took a deep breath, trying to ward off Barry's nerves, but she could feel his overwhelming excitement. "But it's clear now, you're standing here now I am meant to be wherever you are next to me, all I want to do is come running home to you, come running home to you and all my life I promise to keep running home to you, keep running home to you," Iris and Barry now stood hand in hand on the altar,
"Everyone please be seated." Obi-Wan and Esinon sat down, "Welcome to you all. I'm honored to be presiding over the wedding of Barry Allen and Iris West. Although I don't know them well, I know that they are a match for each other. "How do I know that? Well… because of all of you, looking out at their friends and their family and seeing the joy on all of your faces, seeing how happy you are for them, tells me everything I need to know. It tells me these two people deserve to be together. They deserve to be happy and fulfilled. And they deserve to live a long life together. And now to the standard housekeeping. Does anyone have any cause why these two should not be married?" no one spoke a word, "Speak now or forever hold your peace. A blue beam came down from the ceiling, hitting the priest and he vanished. Panicked screams filled the room, all the heroes jumped to their feet, as men in black uniforms flooded the room, all carrying guns. Esinon recognized the red and black symbols on their sleeves, Nazis. A blonde woman flew above them,
"Peace is overrated," she growled,
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Iris said in disbelief,
"Nazis?"
"I hate Nazis." Both Kara and Oliver said, the men opened fire, Barry ran along catching every bullet, dropping them all in front of the altar. Jax and Professor Stein grabbed hands, transforming into firestorm.
"You have interesting friends Esinon," Obi-Wan said, Firestorm wound up throwing a fireball, exploding a good portion of the pews.
"Get everybody out of here!" Kara yelled ripping off her glasses,
"Esinon!" Barry shouted,
"I got it!" she yelled back, she used her speed to grab all the guest rushing them out to a safe distance. She made it back to the church, her master threw a kick sending a Nazi into another, "You caught on quick." she opened her hands, chords of lightning forming in her hands. She spun throwing them into a pair of Nazis, she flung them into a stained glass window and out into the street. Supergirl flew into the blonde woman and they crashed through the window, taking their fight outside. Obi-Wan broke out his lightsaber, stabbing it into the closest Nazi, Esinon brought out hers as well, yellow blades flashing. She threw it like a boomerang, taking out a band of the Nazis, she called it back to her hand, stabbing it into a man behind her.
"Tiny! Duck!" Mick yelled Esinon dropped to the ground, a stream of fire flew over her head. She leaped back up to her feet, a Nazi grabbed her from behind. Esinon struggled in his arms,
"Let go!" she screamed, her hands started to flare with lightning she freed a hand, smashing her sparkling fist into his helmet. He collapsed to the ground, Esinon flipping back up to her feet, calling her lightsaber. Kara crashed back through the ceiling, the woman in black floated back through the ceiling.
"Stay down," she growled, Kara turned clapping her hands, sending a loud boom through the room. Esinon and Obi-Wan fell to their feet from the shock wave, every window shattered sending glass over everyone. Kara dragged the woman in black to her feet, punching her in the gut sending her flying to the end of the aisle.
"No!" the man in black with the bow jumped over the balcony landing next to her, he picked up, "Fall back! Everyone fall back!" he threw down a flasher, sending a blast of light into the room. Esinon helped her master to his feet,
"Are you alright?" he nodded,
"Best wedding ever!" Mick yelled,
A few minutes later…
Esinon, Obi-Wan, Joe, and Wally walked into the Cortez,
"So what's the game plan?" Wally asked,
"There isn't one yet," Barry replied, "Whoever attacked us knows who we are, so I think just get Joe and Cecile as far away as possible."
"Oh, no way, man. I have to help out. Come on." Wally grumbled,
"You're helping by keeping our family safe," Barry said,
"He's right. Until we know what these people want, nobody's safe." Joe said Barry, nodded as Wally took off with Joe. A few minutes later Oliver, Sara, and Jax came back up a mysterious Nazi in the pipeline.
"We wiped all the minds of everyone in the city. Everyone's identities are safe," Oliver said turning away from the monitor,
"Yep. everyone's secret identity remains secret." Mick said, holding a memory flasher,
"Any idea where they went?" Obi-Wan asked going into General,
"No, I flew over the entire city, there's no trace of them," Kara said,
"Well, clearly they attacked because you were there," Iris said,
"Killers, heroes, then what?" Barry asked,
"If I know my history, ethnic cleansing, world domination," Felicity said, her voice wavering a little bit.
"Make America Aryan again," Jax said,
"Which it never was," Caitlin interjected,
"Hashtag melting pot," Iris muttered,
"I hate Nazis," Mick growled, Obi-Wan leaned over to his padawan,
"What's a Nazi?"
"It's like the dark Jedi from the purge," she whispered,
"There appearance seems quite a severe course of action in support of a cause that was defeated over 70 years ago." Professor Stein said, Obi-Wan sat there confused, Esinon had learned about this stuff in school.
"Apparently they didn't know about the Yalta conference," Esinon said,
"What's a Yalta?" Mick asked she rolled her eyes,
"The woman didn't seem surprised to see me," Kara said,
"How did she even know you were on this Earth?" Alex asked,
"And how was she as strong as you?" Barry asked,
"That archer matched me, shot for shot," Oliver said walking back over to the monitor, "You know, I think it's time we got some answers."
"Yeah, he ain't exactly talking," Jax said as they all stared at the Nazi on the screen.
"So let's make him talk," Oliver growled, they all gathered in the pipeline, Esinon still attempting to explain to her master what was happening. The man took his mask off and turned to face them,
"Oh my gosh," Felicity murmured,
"Oh my gosh, what?" Barry asked, "Who is it?"
"That's Tommy Merlyn." Sara answered, seeming shocked, "He died over four years ago."
"Who's Tommy Merlyn?" Oliver paused trying to get words to come out,
"Thea's other brother… and my best friend." Tommy smirked at Oliver as he walked closer, "We're gonna need a moment alone." Oliver said quietly, everyone else ducked out.
"He's a crony," Mick said upon entering the room,
"An anachronism," Professor Stein corrected,
"That's what I said,"
"Lately we've been dealing with anachronisms. It's people and things displaced throughout time." Sara said,
"Ok, but why would Nazi's from 1945 want to crash my wedding?"
"Crab legs, they were delicious," Mick said,
"Ms. West is correct, if they're out of time, they would have targeted whatever military or law enforcement you people have in this dimension," Obi-Wan said folding his arms over his chest,
"You said that Tommy died four years ago right?" Felicity nodded her head, "Why would he be with these Nazis? Oliver was matched shot for shot, and the flying woman had the same powers as Kara. I think we're dealing with doppelgangers from another earth because they obviously knew about us." Esinon said,
"There's more than one?" Sara asked,
"52 actually," Kara said,
"Plus 52 dimensions," Esinon added,
"Though I'm hard-pressed to think of one where Nazis are ascendant."
"And Nazis are not a thing in our dimension," Obi-Wan said,
"I can think of one." Harry said, "There's a 53rd earth, and it's called Earth-X."
A few minutes later…
Obi-Wan watched the footage, disgusted with what he saw. Gunfire, soldiers, tanks, it looked like everything back home.
"It doesn't have a designation because it's a place so awful, so horrific, no sane person would ever travel there. It's basically, our earth, the same history, the same timeline, with one crucial and critical difference." Harry finished,
"So let me hypothesize. The Nazis developed the atomic bomb before the United States did, and they were more than happy to use it." Professor Stein said,
"Yes, the Nazis won the war, and New York, London, Paris, Moscow, all obliterated. The SS set up outposts not only throughout Europe, but also throughout the Americas, and Hitler continued his brutal reign aided by Prime Ministers and Presidents, sympathetic to him until his death in 1994."
"Now they're not happy just ruling one earth. This is making me physically ill." Felicity mumbled leaving the room,
"Yeah, the line starts behind me," Jax said,
"We have to find them. I mean do you think they're using the breach to hop between worlds?" Kara asked,
"Well, if I've learned anything from being a General all of these years, they're most likely operating from a staging area somewhere on this Earth. They attacked the wedding to take out all of you since you all are their biggest threats. They are here to get something, I just don't know what." Obi-Wan said,
"Good thing we have a metric ton of smart people in this building… and Rory." Barry said, "Let's get to work on finding our new friends from Earth-X."
A few minutes later...
Professor looked through his clear board past the equations to see Esinon and her Master holding Tommy's mask in their hands, floating above the ground in meditation.
"Astonishing," he muttered, his scientific mind had never understood how Esinon's powers worked, small cells in her body, or something… the two Jedi dropped to the floor.
"I've got nothing," she grumbled,
"Me either, it's difficult without the physical presence of the force," Obi-Wan said getting up off the ground,
"I'm gonna go see if I can help Caitlin with anything," Esinon said walking off, Obi-Wan rubbed his hands over the mask, it was frustrating to be out of control, Esinon knew how everything worked here. Obi-Wan, not so much, he wished he knew more about the people and places here, but then again he didn't want to know.
20 minutes later…
Esinon rubbed her bracelet, she found it in Cisco's workshop. He must have finished recalibrating it before the wedding. A loud alarm went off through the Cortex,
"Esinon! This building is coming down! Get out here now!" Barry yelled through the coms, Esinon zipped off to see a large metal building starting to collapse, she flew up using the force to hold the crumbling building together,
"GO!" she grunted, her body straining under the weight. Barry zipped around the building, grabbing all the workers, Esinon tightened her fingers, her knuckles turning white the weight increasing. Kara worked on gluing the building together long enough for Barry to get everyone out, Oliver did the same.
"We need to stabilize the building," Barry said, Oliver shot a line swinging around the building, using his arrows to help glue the building.
"Hurry!" Esinon shouted she couldn't hold it much longer.
"Your clear," Oliver said as he zipped past, Esinon let go of the building it continuing to stand. She landed on the ground with the other heroes,
"The sites cleared,"
"And stabilized," Barry said,
"Nice work," Oliver said,
"So why was there a collapsing building in the first place?" Esinon asked, rubbing her fingers.
"Doppelgangers, of me, and Kara." Oliver said, "We can't celebrate just yet, we gave them the window to escape."
"Escape with what?" Kara asked,
S.T.A.R Labs…
"Dayton Optical systems call it the prism," Felicity said,
"What on Earth do they need a sub-light generator for?" Harry asked, "It's basically a spectral emitter that... "
"Uses quantum entanglement." Felicity and Harry said in unison,
"You could also use it to create a stable fusion reaction," Caitlin said,
"Ok which means what?" Iris asked, struggling to understand all the super-geniuses in the room, everyone stayed quiet, "Guys, I really want to know what you're talking about." Harry looked to Felicity, she shook her head,
"You got this,"
"Well, basically, the device they stole can be converted to a neutron bomb," Harry said,
"Boom," Felicity finished,
"I take it back," Iris muttered,
"Bottom line is we need to find these doppelgangers, and stop them before we have a really terrible rendition of Back to the Future." Esinon said walking into the room, Obi-Wan gave her a confused look, "It's an Earth-1 thing," Barry walked into the room holding an arrow,
"This might help," he handed it to Alex,
"Is this a kryptonite arrow?"
"Yup,"
"I know I shouldn't have to ask this question but I have to ask this question. Oliver didn't shoot Kara did he?" Felicity asked nervously,
"Sort of, the archer and flying woman were Oliver and Kara from Earth-X," Barry said,
"When you said Earth-X was horrible, you might have undersold it," Caitlin grumbled to Harry,
"Wait a minute, how could there be another Kara?" Alex asked,
"The same way there are 53 Kara and 53 kryptons and 53 earths," Wells said,
"And Thawne from our Earth is working with them," Barry said, Esinon could feel herself growing angry, correction, Barry growing angry.
"He's an idiot," Harry growled,
"If that arrow has not so supergirl's blood on it, we could-" Felicity began,
"Track it using quantum analysis." Harry interrupted,
"We could,"
"I have something guys," Alex said, everyone walked into the medical bay, "These red blood cells are suffused with shortwave radiation.
"Solar radiation?" Barry asked,
"Yeah, incredibly high amounts. Like nothing I've ever seen before."
"Can you track it?" Esinon asked Felicity,
"Well, I once caught a deranged serial killer off his face cream, so…" Felicity said, everyone, gave her a confused look, "No joke,"
"Let's just do it and fast," Barry said,
A few hours later…
Esinon rubbed a cog on her lightsaber trying to get the oil off of it, she set it down using the force to rebuild her lightsaber. Obi-Wan walked into the room,
"Are you sure you don't want me to come?"
"Well, with most of the others down for the count, we need someone to hold down the fort here," Esinon said placing her lightsaber on her belt.
"Alright," Esinon walked out of Cisco's lab joining Sara, Barry, Firestorm, Alex, Kara, and Oliver. She and Barry ran off to the abandoned sight, taking Alex, Oliver, and Sara with them.
"Be careful, it'll be wall to wall Nazis in there," Barry said as they walked closer,
"I just took on Zygerrian slavers, I think I can handle this," Esinon said confidently,
"Let's go," Barry said taking off into the building, she took off after him. She knocked over every Nazi in sight, she skidded to a halt next to Barry.
"You couldn't have left one for me?" Oliver asked annoyedly,
"I'm sure there will be plenty to go around," Esinon said,
"And I'm saving Nazi you for you," Barry said,
"There's no sign of the prism," Alex said,
"Well, it has to be here somewhere," Barry said Sara, turned to see some Nazis coming,
"We got incoming,"
"Stay where you are!" the troops yelled, hundreds of Nazis flooded the room, Esinon took a deep breath centering herself, she couldn't freeze up now. A streak of red lightning flew through the room, Barry took off after him, Esinon ignited her lightsaber. She threw it like a boomerang, sending it slicing through a bunch of troopers. She caught it, running forward into battle,
"Flash, Supergirl, where's the last one?" Alex shouted, throwing a trooper over her head,
"I see them," Oliver said, Esinon used the force to shove a group of troopers into the wall,
"Where's their Arrow?" she asked, she saw a trooper coming up behind Oliver, "Duck!" she threw her saber-like a javelin into the trooper behind him.
"Thanks," Oliver said, firing another arrow, hitting a trooper behind her, she called her saber.
"Right back at ya," Supergirl and Firestorm, flew into the room, fireballs and heat vision blast lighting up the dim room. Esinon threw a kick into a Nazi behind her, she formed a chord of lightning in her free hand, lightsaber in the other, with only one blade ignited. She grabbed a Nazi with the chord, throwing him in a group of troopers, she threw her lightsaber into one behind them.
Back at S.T.A.R labs...
Obi-Wan could sense something coming, a loud alarm went off through the lab.
"You, and you, hide," Mick said pointing to Iris and Felicity,
"What about Caitlin?" Iris asked, worried about her friend.
"It's about to get a lot colder here," Mick said excitedly, Obi-Wan gripped his lightsaber,
"This is a lot different than the clone wars," he muttered,
"Come on old man, you're with us."
"I have a bad feeling about this," Obi-Wan said, following after Mick and Caitlin.
Back at the warehouse…
Esinon breathing became heavier, as she continued, she mustered all her strength to keep fighting, keep fighting, keep going, must protect. She turned to see Sara struggling with Nazi Supergirl, she tried to throw her lightsaber, but Supergirl caught the hilt, the yellow blade inches from her face. She tossed it away,
"Burn," she growled, shooting heat vision, Esinon flipped out of the way, she stumbled, rolling to the floor. She called her saber, it wouldn't come. Another Nazi was coming towards her, she gathered all her strength to get back up, throwing a punch towards the Nazi, he caught her hand,
"Mistake," Esinon snarled, she grabbed his arm flipping him over, she used all her energy to spin him around sending him flying into the feet of another trooper, she called her saber again. It finally came to her hand, she ignited the blade running back into battle.
Back at S.T.A.R. labs…
Obi-Wan crept towards the speed lab with Mick and Caitlin, he could see the dark archer. Mick fired a blast of fire, he flipped out of the way.
"Afraid of little heat?" he growled before firing again. The dark archer fired an arrow tying Mick up,
"No," he said, his voice distorted, "I'm afraid of nothing." he walked closer to Mick. "Bet you're pretty angry and scared right now."
"No, but she is," Mick said the dark archer whipped around Killer Frost catching his bow, freezing it over.
"You really didn't think this through. Just you against us." Obi-Wan emerged from the darkness, blue bladed cutting through the red lights of the locked-down speed lab.
"I don't need to think to kill you," he said, a blast fired from his suit throwing Killer Frost backward, Obi-Wan dropped into his ready stance, saber poised. The dark archer fired an arrow, he sliced through it, again, and again, the archer charged grabbing his hand with his saber, bending it from his fingers. He delivered a swift blow to Obi-Wan's head, sending him to the ground, "Anyone else want to be a hero?" three people jumped out from the darkness, more heroes.
"They wanted to wait, but I didn't think we'd ever get an entrance like that." the man said, Obi-Wan struggled to his feet, calling his saber. He cut Mick free, now five of them taking on the archer. Obi-Wan relied on the force to give strength to his punches, the archer eliminated them one by one. He grabbed Obi-Wan's arm as he threw a punch, throwing him over his head. Everything went dark,
Back at the warehouse…
Thawne ran around the warehouse in an angry blur of red, knocking over everything in its path, all the heroes were called into the middle. They could hear the heavy pounding of footsteps. A metal man with a green orb in its heart came forward,
"What the he** is that?" Sara asked,
"Metallo," Supergirl answered, it fired a green blast from its chest, sending kryptonite straight into Kara. Firestorm flew into the room, flying into the Metallo, they were sent flying into a pillar splitting Jax from Professor Stein. Thawne took off again, Barry hot on his tail, soon Thawne had taken out Barry, he grabbed Esino by the collar throwing her down next to Oliver and Barry. She grunted, gripping her side, struggling to get to her feet,
"Stay down," Thawne's distorted voice growled,
"Never," She snarled, getting back up only to be knocked out by Thawne,
"I warned you," he said, that was the last thing she heard before the world went dark.
A few minutes later…
Esinon's eyes opened, she was kneeling, her hands bound behind her back and a flashing blue collar around her neck. She took a deep breath, trying not to think about her time in Zygerria.
"Is everyone alright?" Oliver asked, grunting in his own pain.
"We're gonna have to work on your definition of alright," Sara grumbled,
"Yo Grey! You good!" Jax called to his latter half,
"It seems my retirement is somewhat tardy." Professor Stein said, all the heroes got to their feet, upon hearing a slow clap coming up behind them. The face of Harrison Wells smiled menacingly down upon them,
"Well, here we are. This is fun, for me. Not so much for you." Thawne said pointing at Barry, "All the times you've killed me, and now here all I have to do is kill you once." Esinon stepped defensively in front of her friend, "And the ever brave Clairvoyance, it really is nice to finally meet you. Eobard Thawne. It is true what they say, the real thing is always better than the pictures in the museum." she glared at him, "I've always wondered what it would be like to kill a Jedi." he said placing a hand near her throat.
"Enough Eobard. Enough." Overgirl said, coming into the room.
"Hey, you might want to listen to her," Alex said, having some idea of what the doppelganger of her sister was like. "We know that if you wanted to kill us you wouldn't have put these dog collars on us."
"Now I know what it feels like to hate myself," Kara said, staring at Overgirl.
"Well done," the dark archer said walking into the room.
"It wasn't a problem," she said, she paused falling to her feet.
"Hey," the archer knelt down next to her,
"The pain, the pain," she panted, "I don't know how much longer I can bear it."
"It's alright, it's alright." dark Oliver soothed, "You're going to be alright because we found her. We found her, and now we have her." they both stared at Supergirl, "I love you. Now very soon this nightmare will be over, and I'll take you home. So stand." Overgirl struggled to her feet, the dark archer nodded in approval, "S.T.A.R labs is secure," Esinon reached out through the force, her master was alright, he was safe, she could feel it.
"If you hurt my friends-" Barry growled,
"I did hurt your friends." dark Oliver cut in, "I really enjoyed hurting your friends."
"Are they alive?" Oliver asked,
"Yes, yes for now. We need your Kara's cooperation. Well, we don't need it, it would be preferable. But for the time being, you are more valuable as leverage."
"What do you want my sister for?" Alex asked,
"To save my life," dark Kara said, "that's your little mission statement, isn't it? Help people, save lives. Well, now's your chance."
"The General is dying," Thawne said,
"She's been exposed to too much solar radiation," Alex said, remembering the blood sample.
"Yes, like Icarus, I flew too close to the sun."
"But we can save her. We're going to save her, all we need is a new heart, and luckily, on this planet, we found the perfect donor." dark Oliver said calmly,
"You stay the he** away from my sister," Alex said firmly,
"Mmm, such loyalty." Overgirl said, "My sister tried to kill me."
"That's why you stole the prism?" Barry asked, "So you could duplicate a red sun, weaken her, and cut into her?"
"Can't make an omelet with invulnerable eggs."
"Hey. I'm gonna kill you." Oliver stated calmly to the dark archer.
"Nah, you won't." he said looking him over, "You're weak. And all of you choose the high road. You're heroes." The Metallo came back, firing a blinding green light at them."
Earth X…
Esinon woke up to the sound of coughing, screaming, crying, the force was crying out in pain and suffering. She felt more scared and in despair than ever, she tried to shake off the feeling getting to her feet and taking a look around. They were inside a yard, overcrowded with dust and people, bright lights beating down upon them, dogs were barking in the distance.
"Where's Kara? We have to get her back, they're gonna kill her." Alex muttered getting up,
"We need to figure out where we are first." Esinon said, shoving the despaired and pained thoughts to the back of her mind.
"Yeah, about that." Jax said getting to his feet, a door was closed in front of them by a Nazi.
"This is somewhat disconcerting." Professor Stein said slowly, Nazis walked outside the prison gate.
"I don't think this is our Earth." Jax said, Esinon looked up at the sky, and then back to the prisoners,
"We're on Earth X."
