Camilla's POV

"Sound Magic: Sonic Boom!"

I landed with a crushing boom of sound and spun in place.

"Sound Magic: Hard Sound Wave!"

With a twirl I sent out a flutter of sharp sound blasts that cut back anyone around me.

"Captain Yami!" I called out towards the top of a building "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, but this turned into a real pain." He said.

"HMPH!" I jumped up to the roof and landed next to him "I'm still not sure what's really going on but I'm, here to help."

"HMM!" he lifted his sword and made a cloak of darkness in front of us that blocked a arrow of light "Then pay attention if we lose this early we're screwed."

"Right!" I nodded "Marx and Owen, memory reading and erasing magic from one and restorative magic from the other, this is an interesting combination…annoying as crap though."

I looked back and saw Captain Yami was trying to keep his darkness around Julius who'd been seriously wounded somehow.

"We don't even have the Wizard King…dammit what's going on?"

Captain Yami jumped in and slashed them both back "You two ain't supposed to be looking around with faces like that!"

"If you rush in, you'll leave yourself wide open." Marx said shooting a beam of light.

"Dark Magic: Black Hole!"

Captain Yami spun his hand and a ball of darkness sucked the magic in.

"Sound Magic: Boom Burst!"
With a powerful blast of sound from my mouth I took down the liquid barrier surrounding the two, leaving them open for Captain Yami to attack.

"Dark Cloaked Back Slash!"

"Take a nap." He said sliding to a stop "You two are supposed to protect this country with all your might, so just relax until this is over."

"If these are non-offensive mages empowered by whatever's going on then others will only be stronger." I frowned.

I quickly stopped, feeling a vibration under the ground.

"Something's coming!" I jumped up just as a mass of thorny vines burst out of the ground "Oh come on! Captain Charlotte too?!"

"They've been careless after just waking up." She sighed, an elf mark on her face "Fear not I shall handle this"

"It's the thorny princess." Captain Yami laughed.

"I know not who you speak of but if you are human…I will kill you." She said.

"That's rich given you stole a human's body for this." I glared.

A wave of vines rose up and came crashing towards the town.

"Sound Magic: Boom Barrier!"

I let out a scream that put up a wall of sound to hold the plant life back.

"Get out of here!" Captain Yami yelled at the civilians in the path.

"The city is gonna be rubble at this rate."

I jumped back a few more times, there were rose thorns everywhere, I couldn't even seen the woman attacking us anymore.

"Dark Cloaked Slash!"

When Captain Yami slashed through the roses the woman darted out and stabbed forward, he dodged and I slid in and raised my foot to kick her back with a Sonicboom.

"HMPH!" I was quickly forced to jump back as her sword shot out more vines around us.

"Was Captain Charlotte always this strong?"

"Big Sis!"

"Sol get out of here!" I turned back and saw the dark-skinned girl.

"That attack was a mistake!" the girl yelled "It has to be!"

"She doesn't have one of those strange facial marks…that must be how to tell"

"HRAA!" Captain Yami slashed the air and once more knocked back the thorns.

"She's not herself you need to get out of here you can't handle this." I told her.

"I…I have to I can't leave this to someone else."

"And why not?" I asked "What you're gonna go over there and die like a fool!"

I turned around and screamed to disintegrate some vines.

"As long as you can still fight for what you believe in than that's what matters, but throwing your life away is foolish, instead depend on others to help you along the way to your goals." I said "As long as my body still functions, I'll never stop fighting for a world where no one feels left out or misfortune. Now take that ball of darkness there and guard it no matter what, that is something you can do while Captain Yami and I will do what we can do!"
