CHAPTER TWENTY-EIGHT: BATTLE OF THE DRAGONS, PART 2

Raven's Moon infirmary...

Claire walks into the infirmary holding a yogurt and iced tea. "Hey, Sakura. I thought you were probably starving so I got you something to eat." She said, handing her the yogurt and iced tea.

"Thanks, Claire." Sakura said as she took the yogurt and the iced tea.

"How are you feeling?" Claire asked.

"Still terrible. But at least I'm not dead thanks to Wendy and Sherria." Sakura replied. Both Carter, Claire, and Sakura could hear cheers coming from the crowd.

"Sounds like Casey and Kyle are kicking ass." Claire commented.

"I told him to win for me." Sakura said.

"You bet he will. Casey fights well when he's pissed." Claire stated. She said her goodbyes to Sakura as she left, leaving only her and Carter in the room.

Sakura finished the yogurt as she placed the container on the stand next to her bed. She took a sip of the iced tea. "Carter, Casey will be all right, right?" She asked.

"Of course. He's fighting for you and Raven's Moon after all." Carter replied.

Sakura smiled. "Show those tigers the true power of a Dragon Slayer. Show them exactly why you're called the King of Ice, Case..."

Back to the Battle...

"The staring contest continues. You can almost cut the tension with a butter knife! Who will make the first move?" Chapati questioned.

As if answering him, Sting headed straight for Casey. He attacked him but Casey dodged it. "Feel my holy white judgement!" Sting shouted as he attacked Casey and punched him repeatedly.

"Casey!" Kyle shouted.

Rogue flew past Kyle as he kept trying to attacked Rogue with his lightning. "Oh, my! Kyle cannot seem to land a hit on Rogue! Is this what Shadow Drive is like?" Chapati said.

Rogue continued to attack Kyle while Casey ended up getting kicked in the face. Casey and Kyle were back to back. "Any great ideas that you have in that brain of yours would be great right about now, Casey!" Kyle shouted.

Both of them looked up at the sky. "Dodge!" Casey yelled as they moved out of the way before they were hit by Sting and Rogue.

"They've increased their magic power..." Snow muttered.

"You can do it, Casey!" Razi shouted.

"Did anyone tell you it's bad manners to hold back when you're fighting?" Casey asked.

"You're one to talk! Aren't you supposed to be strong?" Sting replied. Kyle and Rogue continued fighting. Casey and Kyle took blow after blow. "You're not Natsu-san, but surpassing the legendary Casey works as well!" Sting said as he lifted Casey up.

Casey realized that he couldn't move. "What did you do to me?" He asked.

"My White Dragon's Talon is infused with holy magic. Now the real fun begins, you're my new punching bag!" Sting said.

Kyle continued fighting with Rogue as he kept missing. "In the end, a Shadow Dragon always finds it's prey And you won't even see it coming." Rogue said as he reached for Kyle. However, Kyle caught his wrist.

"I wouldn't be so sure if I were you. Now, where were we?" Kyle asked.

"Like a boss!" A guild member commented.

"For a second I thought he wouldn't be able to touch the guy." Snow stated.

"Rogue is skilled, but he's nothing compared to Kyle in his ability in a fight." Aira said.

"Show Sting your real power, Casey! Take him down!" Razi shouted.

Casey smirked as he punched Sting with his fist covered in ice. "You shouldn't be able to move!" Sting said. He saw the mark freezing off. "He froze the mark off of him?" Sting questioned.

"You're strong I'll give you that. But my Ice Drive gets rid of any spell that is cast on me." Casey stated.

"What happened you were all cocky just a few moments ago." Kyle said. Rogue gasped in fear. "Don't underestimate Raven's Moon!" Kyle exclaimed as he punched Rogue.

Together, both Casey and Kyle slammed their opponents into the arena wall. "And just like that, the final battle has come once again!" Chapati said.

"You guys are pretty awesome alright. No shot there." Sting said as he glowed white. "Looks like we'll have to give you everything we got. When we decide to go all out, there's no way Ice and Lightning can stop us."

"Here it comes, King of Ice! Dragon Slayer's Secret Art!" Sting shouted. "Holy Nova!" Sting headed for Casey. However, Casey appeared just fine as he stopped Sting's attack with his hand. Sting had a shocked look on his face.

"Kyle!" Rogue shouted. Kyle said nothing as he punched Rogue. Casey and Kyle crashed Sting and Rogue together as they kicked them aside.

"They're on a whole different level, now!" Yajima commented as everyone cheered.

"Sabertooth's Twin Dragons are completely at the mercy of Raven's Moon's Dragon Slayers! Will the match end with Sabertooth faced down in the dirt?" Chapati questioned.

Rogue stood up. "We're not finished yet." He claimed.

"He's right. It's not like we've expected this to be easy you know. Give us some credit." Sting added. That's when Sting and Rogue glowed with their element as they had markings and their hair stood up.

Casey raised an eyebrow. "Oh? Getting serious now, are we? I guess I should too. This match was starting to bore me." He stated. Casey's white hair spiked up as ice-like markings appeared on his face.

"I'm a little insulted." Kyle commented.

A gust of wind blew. Sting headed straight for an attack at Casey as he shoved him back. "Lightning Dragon's-" Kyle started to say but Sting attacked him before he had the chance to release a spell.

Both Casey and Kyle headed to attack them as they got kicked back. "White Dragon's Holy Breath!" Sting shouted as he ended up making a hole in the ground. Casey and Kyle fell into the hole.

"You can't leave because we're not done yet!" Sting shouted.

"You're right on that one! Ice Dragon's Spikes!" Casey shouted as a light blue Magic Circle appeared and multiple icicles attacked Sting. Kyle appeared from behind him. "Lightning Dragon's Roar!" He shouted as lightning attacked Sting.

Sting landed on the ground as he put his hands together. "Holy Ray!" He shouted, attacking both Casey and Kyle. Both Casey and Kyle fell down. Casey went to punch Sting but he counter attacked it. "Time to fly." Sting said as Casey was thrown into the wall.

Casey and Kyle were being beaten to the ground. Soon enough, both Casey and Kyle were on the ground, with Casey out of Dragon Force.

"See that Lector? I won!" Sting said. Raven's Moon just stood in shock. "There they are, beaten by true Dragon Slayers." Rogue said. "Got that right." Sting agreed.

"Casey and Kyle might not be getting up at that one, folks. It was an intense fight for both sides, but it looks like Raven's Moon has been subsided to Sabertooth's Twin Dragons after all." Chapati said.

"Casey..." Snow muttered.

"What the hell are you doing, Casey? The fights not over yet. You're not allowed to quit." Razi commented.

"Get your asses up! You can't lose like this!" Claire shouted.

Sting deactivated Dragon Force. "Good fight. That was the toughest I've ever had. Thanks, I mean it." He said.

"Are they down for the count?" Chapati wondered.

"Quit lying there! You got a fight to win!" Alexander said.

"Listen to us, we're right here with you. You're never alone, because you're apart of Raven's Moon!" Vivi added.

"Sting..." Rogue said as he jumped down to join his partner. "Yeah, I know. Kyle wasn't mine to take out. Sorry. But I did it. I kept my word." Sting told him.

"It's not over... I have to win..." Casey thought. A light blue glow surrounded his body as well as Kyle's as Casey started healing them both.

"Not so fast, pal." Casey said as he and Kyle stood up. The audience went wild.

"Go, Casey!" Snow shouted.

"I knew Casey wasn't out of this yet, ha." Razi said.

"Ugh my head..." Casey groaned.

"I'll be feeling that for a week..." Kyle added as he rubbed his head.

"It's as Sting's attack didn't even faze them!" Chapati commented.

Casey smirked. "Not bad, but now we've seen all your little tricks." He informed.

"What...?" Sting said.

"No..." Rogue added.

"I know the timing of your attacks, the way you stand when you defend, even the rhythmn of your breathing." Casey stated as Kyle continued rubbing his head.

"What the hell?! That's impossible! I used my Dragon Force! You shouldn't be standing!" Sting said.

"Yeah, you're definitely strong. I feel like a train ran over me." Casey said.

"Keep your composure. He's just bluffing." Rogue informed.

Kyle chuckled. "Don't make me laugh. Does the King of Ice look like the type of guy that's smart enough to bluff?" He questioned as he looked at Casey.

"I'm smart! Just watch!" Casey told him as they faced Sting and Rogue again. "For example, when you attack, you pivot your foot to around eleven o'clock!"

"Nope. It's ten o'clock, dummy." Kyle disagreed.

"It's totally eleven." Casey argued.

Casey and Kyle clashed their heads together. "Are you blind it was 10:30 at most. Were you even watching him?!" Kyle shouted.

"I think you were hit too hard. It's 23 o'clock!" Casey shouted back as Sting and Rogue just stared at them.

"That's the same thing, moron!"

"What the hell did you call me, lightning rod?!"

"I'm gonna beat your stupid ass down!"

Casey and Kyle were brawling while Sting and Rogue sweat dropped at them as well as their guild. "Are those two idiots going to embarrass the entire guild?" Master Ailey asked.

"They do have a lot of energy though. I think they'll finally get serious down there." Aira said, chuckling.

"They sure pick a wrong time for bickering. Must be humilating to look like a couple of children." Alexander stated.

"You're one to talk, Alexander. How often have you and Casey bickered just like that?" Cruz questioned.

Alexander sweat dropped. "Yeah, but we don't do it in front of the whole world." He said.

"Oops!" Casey said as he shoved Kyle into a mine cart and pulled the level.

"Hey, What the crap!" Kyle exclaimed as he got motion sickness and fell down the tunnel. Casey chuckled.

"Hey! What did you do that for?!" Sting exclaimed.

"Betrayal?" Rogue questioned.

"What? Did you think I forgot about that little insult from before? Ha." Casey said as his fist turned into ice. "I can handle the two of you myself. Come on, give me all you got!" Casey exclaimed, shocking Sting and Rogue.

"Insanity! Casey Hyodo has declared his own 1-on-2 battle against the Twin Dragons! We could be witnessing history!" Chapati exclaimed.

Casey smirked. "Bring it on, tigers." He challenged.
