The next day had passed and Christmas was coming closer and closer. Killer Frost was running out of time coming up for the perfect gift for Tails, and the fox boy was still having trouble finding tr correct gift for her in return. How ironic that both of them were trying to find a Christmas gift for one another, yet they had no idea that the person that they were going to give, were also going to get as well.
Rather funny when a person thinks about it, for this kind of irony was a little fun. Still, they didn't want one another to have an empty-handed Christmas when it comes this very day on the Twenty-fifth.
You tails himself was growing a little more frustrated in this and he realized that nothing would really be perfect for Louise. It was no use even while searching on the internet. Stuff like a flat-screen TV or a cool guitar would be a little too pricey and steep for him, and he didn't have enough money to pay for thoss kind of things.
The doorbell of the workshop rang, and Louise went to look and see who it was. It was a certain blue hedgehog, looking confident with his arms crossed, along with the red echidna, who still looked tough, and far more formidable than his speedy, blue friend. "Heya, Frost. Where's Tails?"
"Yeah, we just wanted to say hi to him, and see if he can track
"He's in the bedroom. He hasn't come out in a few hours. I'm a little worried about him. And, I can't even find a perfect gift for him!" she covered her mouth to keep Tails from having his surprise spoiled. "Seriously, I might let him down this Christmas."
"Frost, you're looking a little worried over nothing." Sonic clarified.
"Am i?"
"Yeah. It doesn't have to be something big, fancy, or expensive." Knuckles added. "We've already talked about this before, right?"
"Yeah. I know we have."
"Louise, what matters is that it comes from the heart, not from the money." Sonic said. "That's all that matters. A card, some flowers, or even a box of chocolates for him from wherever those chocolates come from."
"Usually from England." Killer Frost said.
"Right. It can be that."
"What matters is that you tried."
Killer Frost smiled, and she said: "okay. I'll take your word for it. And I mean it this time."
Both of Tails' closest friends smiled at her. "Good. And Tails is upstairs?" Sonic asked her.
"Yeah. Go see if he's okay or not." Louise pointed her finger upstairs. Sonic and Knuckled went upstairs and they found Tails pacing to and fro on the floor, feeling a little pressured of trying to find Killer Frost the perfect gift for Christmas.
While pacing, he said over and over ahain: "what should I do? What should I do? What should I do?"
"Uh... Tails?" Knuckles said.
"Oh. Hey guys. I didn't see you there." the fox boy smiled.
"No problem." Knuckles said. "Comment ca va, mon ami?"
"Ca va bien. Except... I still can't find the perfect gift." Tails admitted to his closest friends. "I would like to get her a guitar, but look at them!" he pointed to the nice guitars on the website he was searching on. "Five-thousand dollars for an electric guitar? I can't afford that!" he clamped his mouth shut, worried that Killer Frost night have heard it and spoiled the surprise.
"Tails, calm down buddy." Sonic chuckled. "We've probably been through this, but a gift doesn't have to be a lot of money."
"Yeah but I want her present to he special."
"We know you do, but it would come from the heart," Sonic said. "Not from the money."
Tails sighed and he was thinking this over. "Yeah, i... I see what you mean. But... but..."
"But what?" Knuckles asked him.
"What if it's not special enough?"
"Come on. It would he a gift of love and That's what matters." Sonic added. "Give her a card give her some flowers. I know it's more of a birthday or valentine's day thing, but it works."
"I see... Christmas is only a few days away."
"Yeah, you still have some time to think about the perfect gift. And no matter how big or small, it will he special." said Knuckles. "And besides, Eggman might try and come back and steal more presents with a more determined plan."
Tails nodded his head in agreement. "Good point. We need to strike back at him before he tries to cause more trouble. Who knows what kind of new scheme he hatch to try and get some presents and goodies."
"We'll beat him again." Sonic said. "He's still the cowardly egg that we have kicked butt over and over again. It doesn't matter how many robots he has." Sonic remarked. "The power of teamwork will always beat him. Maybe we can have Frosty put him on ice for good this time."
Tails smiled. "That would be good. I've never seen Eggman as a very dangerous enemy as much anymore."
Knuckles made an annoyed grunt hearing that, and he replied: "Amen to that. Eggman used to be one of the most dangerous bad guys we've fought, but now, he is turning into the most annoying villain on the planet. Honestly, I wish that there were more... tough villains to fight against. Eggman's turning into like... like..."
"Sand in an oyster's shell?" Tails helped his red-headed friend out.
"Yeah! Exactly."
"Well, me and Killer Frost fought Icicle Jr. one time at the beach. He seemed dangerous, and if not annoying."
"Oh yeah, you did tell us that before." Sonic remembered that. "Those two were equally matched."
"Totally."
Meanwhile at the North Pole
Santa was preparing his sleigh and he was getting ready for the big sleigh ride that will commence in a few days, and the reindeer could hardly wait for their ride once again. Rudolph was put in charge because of his nose that will make him go down in history. As of now, he was looking at the naughty and nice list for all the good kids of the world, and he was happy to see that there were only a few naughty children this year.
The doorbell rang and he went to promptly answer it. "Ho ho ho, I wonder who that is." he said in his jolly voice.
He went to answer the door, and what he saw caught him by surprise. "Hello, Sandy Claus."
"Dr Robotnik?!" Santa said, looking scared. "What are you doing here?"
"Business. Now, my robots!" Santa then felt himself being sacked in the head with a sack and things were about to get very ugly for the poor, jolly man in red and white.
