Thanks everyone who either reveiwed or sent me a pm. I'm trying really hard to write chapters and update this so it's an actual story and not just rushed to the ending.

Chapter 23
Embry POV
Hearing sue list all of Bella's injuries made my heart ache. Mike was sick as a human but as a vampire? He really was a sick fuck, the fact that the pack got to destroy him only dampens the pain I feel at the moment. My imprint, the one suppose to by my soulmate, my other half, going through so much pain and torture and for what? Some sick twisted vampires amusement. My grip on the counter tightens and I look around the kitchen at my brothers. Each has the same look of outrage and pain stamped on their face. Squeezing my eyes shut, I take a deep breath before I feel a hand on my shoulder. Looking over I'm shocked to see it's Paul. He nods his head to the back door before walking out, I look over to Sam, who nods his head before I follow Paul out the door.
"What Paul? I should be inside, ready to be with Bella." I run my hand over my eyes.
"Look Embry, you're allowed to be angry or upset of whatever you feel but you NEED to pull yourself together. For Bella. Right now she needs us ALL united and ready to fight for her." The look on Paul's face had no hint of anything but seriousness. Which for some reason just made more anger boil beneath my skin.
Feeling my body start to vibrate, a wiry growl rips from throat. "Enough, Paul. You think I'm stupid? I know you have something going on, you think you've got feelings or something for her but she's MY imprint. I know what I NEED to be doing, I need to look after her and protect her. As her mate. YOU on the other hand are my pack brother, suppose to support me, not steal my mate!" I took a step towards him, fury written on my face. A jolt of surprise runs through my body as Paul takes a step back.
"I KNOW! Ok? I fucking know. She's your imprint, she's YOUR mate but I can't fucking help it. Ever since I fucking met her, even my wolf! He loves her too!" He pulls at his hair. "Now isn't the time for this Em, I'm sorry but Bella is what's important right now. She's part of the pack, we will look after her as she heals. We will discuss this when she's no longer in danger."
As much as it pains me he's right. "Fine but just don't cross the line ok? You're my brother Paul but my wolf doesn't like this." I turn on the spot and go back inside. Ready to finally see Bella and wait until she awakens.
