This chapter, pulled at my heart strings. I both love and hate this work, because I could not imagine how someone would actually feel if this happened to them. I know you are all probably scratching your heads in confusion, but I promise you will understand.

Alexandra smiled, as she and Caius sat on her parents couch. Her mother had taken Thomas to the park, earlier in the morning. They were do back in about thirty minutes, giving her father ample time to speak with his daughter's lover for a few moments.

"You are both doing well for the boy." The older man spoke calmly, after serving the two lovers water. Something else, that a vampire could consume but it did nothing for them. "He kept asking for someone however."

"Who?" Alexandra asked softly, but something told her she already knew the answer. By a slight fidgit from Caius told her he knew as well.

"He kept says Ba-ba. I assumed he was meaning Mama." Her father replied softly.

Caius placed a smile on his face before answering honestly. "He calls my brother Ba-ba, he loves his Uncle...Uncle Aro." He said dodging the truth a bit. "In all honesty, my brothers help raise our son. Such a big part of his life, that we taught Thomas the Greek version of father which is Babbas."

Her father showed a bit of surprise, before he looked to his daughter. "Your in a relationship with them, aren't you." That caused a look of shock to pass Alexandra's eyes, confirming the suspicion.

"James-" Caius started but the man simply held his hand up.

"Do they treat you right?" He asked.

"Like a Goddess." Alexandra replied. "They love Thomas as if he was their own flesh and blood."

James nodded, before speaking. "Then that is all I care about, though I may not approve of a Polyamoras lifestyle; least not for myself." He said calmly. "If you are happy, then I am happy. Just as I am happy Susanna has found her own relationship with Jane."

"You knew Susanna is gay?" Alexandra asked surprised.

"A true parent, who loves their children. They know instantly, and they will not confront their child unless necessary." Was the response. "I found this necessary only because of Dillon, I will not see my daughters hurt. Do I make myself clear?"

Caius listened, his eyes a little wide. A sliver a fear went through the vampire as he recognized the threat, it was one he had made on behalf of his son over 3000 years ago. He hunting down the ones that had killed both him, and his grandchildren. "Perfectly." He whispered softly, as a father he understood. As a mate he would be damned before he hurt his other half, and as a king he would be damned if Alexandra was treated with an ounce of disrespect from anybody.

Alexandra was about to say something, when the house phone rang. Her father moved instantly to answer, leaving the two lovers alone in the living room. "You looked terrified." She whispered.

"I will say the same thing to anyone who tries to hurt our son, and any child who comes into our lives. I do not care if the child is Aro's, Marcus's, or mine. Any one tries to hurt them and I will make anyone suffer." He answered calmly. "And yes, that includes Jane and Alec. I know how fond you are of them. I believe Demetri, Felix, and the twins can take care of themselves. Nevertheless you see them as your adopted children, they see you as a mother. Inadvertently, that makes them mine in away as well."

Her lips met his instantly, but no verbal endearments could be made as James came running back into the room. A look of pure horror written all over his face, as the two lovers turned. Alexandra and Caius both stood abruptly upon seeing him like this. "Dad, what's wrong?"

"Something happened at the park." James exclaimed instantly. "Your mother spotted an old friend, Ms. Johnson you remember her."

Caius looked ready to strike at the right words, as Alexandra walked closer to her father. "Yes, I remember Ms. Johnson." Her voice was steady as she felt a churning in her stomach. "Dad, is Thomas alright?"

"She just turned her back for a moment." James whispered.

"James?" Caius finally spoke, eyeing the nearly hyperventilating male. Knowing this man was an ex homicide cop, but if he was like this. The vampire knew something terrible had happened.. "Is Thomas alright?"

Blue eyes that matched his daughters met both of them, as he took a deep breath. "Thomas is missing."

Alexandra fell instantly, the rough blue carpet cradled her knees. Tears sprang to her eyes as she became hysterical almost instantly. Caius dropped down beside her instantly. "We have to find him!" She sobbed out, nearly screaming as she clutched to her mate; who was shaking nearly as badly as her. "Dad, what are you doing here..Go! Find my son!"

"Caius are you coming?" Jame asked instantly as he sprang into action.

The blonde nodded. "Alexandra, call Aro and Marcus. Okay?" He tried to reason as his mate, started to gag through the sobs; no doubt sick to her stomach. "Trashcan!"

Her father was quick, handing a black pale to them as his daughter began to vomit. He watched as Caius pulled her hair back, trying to shush her as he was visibly vibrating in his own anguish. "You stay with her, and meet me at Tillicum Park." He told the blonde, before he touched his daughters sweaty forehead. "We will find your son."

Alexandra looked up, but couldn't form words. Still hyperventilating, paler, eyes bloodshot, and her mate noted how her heart began to slow down drastically. "She's going faint!" He cried, right as she slouched over to him.

"I'll call an ambulance." James replied instantly, while dialing 911.

Caius listened, before he pulled out his cellular device. Dialing his brother's number instantly, while pulling his mate close. "Aro." He said instantly when his childlike brother answered. However, the next three words that left the most feared vampire in the Volturi coven. Words that would make Jane and Alec look like helpless kittens compared to he and his brothers. "Thomas is missing."

Like I said my heart aches writing this, but as you all knew something was going to happen. The question is who is responsible? Do you all have your ideas? Here is a better question, how will Aro and Marcus react?
