Kagome was quiet.
The whole camp had noticed it.
In her silence, she stayed beside Akaya was watching over her when he had his free time. When he was practicing, Kagome didn't wander, she stayed on the bench by Coach Ryuuzaki or she sat alone watching. That's not to say she wasn't constantly being watched, but not as much as she had been. Her eyes weren't just watching Akaya though. Glancing to another court, she stared at the red head. Akira was also under her gaze. She recognized the silence in the camp as everyone ignoring Akira. She wasn't stupid. Yes, she was little, and she didn't always understand everything that everyone was saying, but she knew when something bad was happening.
Laying down flat on her stomach, she lowered herself off the bench and started walking away from Akaya's court. "Akaya-Kun is hurt...Mio-nii not do." She stepped past the Coach and continued her path towards the furthest Court. Taking a seat by the fence, she watched Kamio, Akira as he ignored the stares and the accusatory looks.
"Kamio-San, that's good. Take a break."
He popped his strings, straightening them out after having practiced for the last few hours straight. Walking away from the net, a look of annoyance in his eyes. He turned towards his bag and frowned, "Kagome-Chan, shouldn't you be with Keigo-San or Eiji-San?"
She shook her head, "Ayji-nii with Momo-nii."
"Ah, I see." He sat down next to her and pulled a water bottle from his bag, handing it over to her after he twisted off the cap. "Drink, it's hot out."
She smiled and took the bottle with both hands before taking little chugs of the cool liquid. She gave a little cough and placed the bottle down on the ground before rubbing her eyes. "Ouch..."
"Is something wrong, Kagome-Chan?"
She put her hand to her chest and rubbed it before tilting her head curiously. "It hurt, but not no more."
'Maybe the heat is getting to her.' He glanced around, then standing and shouldering his bag, he held his hand out to Kagome, "let's go inside where it's cooler. I see Echizen up ahead, we can catch up with him if we leave now."
"Kay!" She stood and took his hand, walking with him after the youngest member at the camp, aside from Kagome who wasn't exactly a member. "Ryoma-nii!" She called out. Eyes followed the two until they caught up to Ryoma who had slowed down to wait for them. "Ryoma-nii, ice cream?"
"No," he shook his head, "Eiji-nii said that you can't have any sweets until after you eat dinner. He's mad because everyone keeps giving you sugar while it's so hot outside."
Too much was said, she only keyed in on "no" and the tears swelling in her eyes had Ryoma sighing and pulling off his hat before plopping it down on her head. "Mine!?" She asked, her hands coming to her lips in a cute display of surprise. "Is mine?" She asked again.
He shook his head before smiling, "for today, you can wear my hat."
"Is Gome's!" She squealed and took off in a run.
Akira followed her with his eyes, looking to Ryoma, he noticed the boy staring up at him curiously. "What?"
"Did you do it?"
"Augh! No, I didn't!"
Ryoma shrugged, "then don't let their stares bother you."
He paused; his momentary bout of annoyance faded as he watched Ryoma walk off in the direction that Kagome had ran off in. Without anything else to do, Akira followed them.

"Saka-Sensei!" Kagome called out to the music teacher slash tennis coach. "Saka-Sensei!" She ran up to him and wasn't disappointed when he held out a hand for her. In front of him stood Sanada who wa eyeing her and the hat she wore while still talking to the Coach.
"Kagome, it's almost time for lunch, will you be joining us?"
"Then ice cream?"
He smiled charmingly at her, "who told me that you were on a strict no-sugar diet?"
Kagome shrugged, glancing at her shoes, she played with a pebble before she looked at who all was playing. "Play tennis," she muttered, still upset that no one had time to play with her. They all got to play tennis, but she only got to watch. "Fssh~ Kai-nii! Fsss! Fssh!"
Sakaki watched as his team finished cleaning up the court, they were done with their morning practice and would be taking an hour for lunch and break.
"Ah, Kagome-Chan,"
She turned and saw Ryoma and Akira walking up to her and Sakaki-Sensei.
"We are going to go inside and eat, are you hungry?" Akira asked.
"Yeah, eat!" She pointed, "Nii-sans come too?" She turned and grabbed Sanada's hand.
"All of your nii-sans will be there." This voice belonged to Shuusuke who was smiling as he walked up to the group. He barely had time to crouch down when she took off running into his arms. She curled up into his arms and buried her face in his hair. "Nai, Kagome-Chan, you'll get all sweaty if I carry you."
"Is okay, bath later." She ignored the chuckles around them as he lifted his bag over his other shoulder before the group started off towards the main building. "Mio-nii," she called to the red head who was walking a little bit behind the group. "Eat with Gome?"
He smiled, "hai, I can do that."

Keigo sat at a table with most of his team, though Ibu, Shinji had forgone the team to sit with his, isolated friend. He was watching with analytical eyes as Kagome was sitting between Akaya and Akira, the source of the camps supposed Drama. He wasn't entirely sure about what had happened, but he recalled how Kagome had strongly opposed everyone who accused Akira. He wasn't about to blame the boy, seeing how strongly Kagome felt against it. Be that he did it or not, she clearly didn't like hearing about it. On that note, he didn't think the boy had honestly done it. Across from his precious daughter, Shuusuke and Eiji both sat, with Ryoma beside them. He watched as Mukahi walked up behind her and poked her in the side, she gave a cute giggle and hugged him before he crouched down and spoke to her.
She shook her head before she picked up a piece of her food and held it out to him.
Keigo blushed at the cute display of affection, coughing into his hand a bit to cover up the slip of his emotions. He turned his eyes away to make sure that no one had seen his slip. When he was sure he was safe, he glanced back and watched as Mukahi patted her on the head before standing and walking out of the room. Kagome returned to the food she was eating, her attention fully on the group around her. 'Kagome-Chan... Atobe-Papa is lonely. You really shouldn't ignore papa...'
"N-no...no...Ayji-nii! Is Gome's hat today. Not Ayji-nii's."
The sound of playful laughter sounded as Eiji returned the hat to the little girl across from him. "Gomen, gomen, Kagome-Chan, nyan~"

Me: Here is chapter 31, I am needing to re-watch everything. No one worry, I'm still typing up my YYH fics too. I'm not entirely too distracted with any one thing, but I do have to re-watch Prince of Tennis. Also, be prepared! I'm about to renovate the last seven or eight chapters of On My Orders because I made a HUGE mistake. So, I will update that after I fix the chapters, which should be in a few days.
