Chapter 27: Attack On Konoha

A man with slanted blue eyes, long golden blond hair drawn into a half ponytail, and a black cloak with red clouds sat outside an abandoned warehouse.

The door to the warehouse opened, revealing a bandaged Sasuke.

'Hahaha...you have been failing a bit too much recently, haven't you hm?' The blond smirked.

'Shut the hell up, Deidara!' Sasuke spat in his direction.

Deidara continued to smile, ignoring Sasuke's outburst.

He then grabbed a teal ring and wore it on his right index finger.

'You should leave Akatsuki right now hm.' He said as he waved his ring at Sasuke, taunting him.

Sasuke scowl slowly disappeared as he began smiling. Deidara became visibly disturbed by it.

'If Itachi could beat you, there's no way I can't.' Sasuke then began turning away.

Suddenly, Deidara punched Sasuke in the face. Sasuke staggered as he wasn't expecting that.

'Brat!' Deidara yelled. He then opened up his pouch, grabbing a few shurikens before throwing them at Sasuke.

Sasuke dodged them by performing a backflip before landing and activating his Sharingan.

'That blasted eye!' Deidara cursed as he began weaving hand signs. Sasuke created shadow clones before attacking Deidara at full force, not wanting to give him a chance to successfully cast his jutsu.

Deidara quickly backed up and avoided punches as a smile appeared on his face.

'C1!' He opened up his hands, revealing stitched mouths on his palms.

The mouths chewed on clay before spitting out spiders that were made out of clay. The mouths then licked Deidara's palm.

Sasuke drew the Sword of Kusanagi and began slicing at the spiders, causing them to explode prematurely.

A cloud of smoke rose. Deidara charged through it and kicked at Sasuke, only for him to block and counterattack with his clones.

Suddenly, the clones all disappeared and Sasuke and Deidara was pushed into a wall.

A person with orange spiky hair, orange eyebrows, and black piercings in his nose and ears approached them. His eyes were purple with black spirals.

'What are you two doing?' He asked with an irritated look.

'Pain…' Sasuke's eyes returned to normal as he narrowed them.

'Tch!' Deidara clicked his tongue, folding his arms as he did so.

'We already lost Zetsu to the black hole and Kisame to Subaru. We need no other losses, especially from within.' Pain said in a deep voice.

Deidara turned and walked away leaving Sasuke alone with Pain.

'You believe what that king guy said?' Sasuke questioned.

'It doesn't matter. He's lending us a member of his team so for now, we'll work with him. We can take him out if needed later on.' Pain replied as he turned away.

'Also, you may want to join Tristan in the attack on Konoha.' Pain added.

Sasuke's eyes widened for a few seconds, before a smirk appeared.

Radio Town

In the middle of the town, many corpses laid on the floor.

Tristan was standing in the midst of all of it.

'A new member of the Akatsuki?!' Naruto questioned. This was because Tristan wore the Akatsuki cloak.

Suddenly, it kicked Naruto in the stomach, forcing him to the ground.

Before it could attack Naruto any further, blue bolts of energy struck it.

'Are you alright?' It was Gwen. Naruto stood up beside her.

'Thanks for the help. And sorry for capturing you for no reason.' He muttered.

'Apology accepted.' Gwen said before throwing more bolts at Tristan.

Tristan took the attacks head-on as Kakashi appeared from beneath the ground.

It sidestepped him before raising an arm, sending out a net that binded Kakashi.

Then, it turned around and punched Naruto in the gut, sending him back. Gwen quickly created a blue pillow for Naruto to land on.

She then formed a large lance, using it to bat Tristan. However, Tristan ejected mini drones from it's back and the drones created a energy barrier, blocking the lance.

Tristan then launched missiles at Gwen. Gwen formed a wall in an attempt to stop it but it was easily blown away.

'Gwen!' Max yelled as he ran up to her.

'Gramps! Stay back!' Naruto screamed as he released a Rasengan to counter Tristan's energy sphere.

After the two attacks successfully countered one another, Naruto created ten clones, all of which began attacking Tristan.

Tristan, however, managed to beat down all of the clones. It then took off on it's rocket boots and was about to kick Naruto when a green blur knocked him away.

Then, another green blur knocked Tristan back further. It turned out that the blurs were Guy and Lee.

Tristan's eyes glowed red as crimson energy was launched. Guy and Lee both split up and dodged the beams, before attacking Tristan on each side.

Despite their taijutsu however, Tristan was able to dodge every single one of their attacks.

'Let's show him the Power of Youth!' Guy roared.

'Yes Guy sensei!' Lee replied enthusiastically.

The duo's speed increased and managed to get a few hits in, due to Tristan being slower when dodging.

However, a yellow aura appeared around Tristan and suddenly, its speed skyrocketed, leaving Guy and Lee in the dust as it delivered uppercuts to each of them.

Lee got knocked out due to the sheer power while Guy managed to recover, albeit with blood dripping off his mouth.

'Hiyah! You shall not beat Konoha's Sublime Green Beast of Prey!' Guy disappeared as he roared.

He then reappeared in front of Tristan and went in for a roundhouse kick but Tristan caught his leg. It then quickly tighten its grip, crushing Guy's leg.

Tristan quickly threw Guy into a nearby wall.

'RAIKIRI!' Kakashi threw his entire right arm in front of him, successfully landing a hit. However, the electricity sparking off of him was swiftly absorbed by Tristan, whom used it to punch Kakashi.

'Giant Rasengan!' Naruto yelled as he slammed his hand into Tristan. The attack, however, failed as Tristan quickly punched the Rasengan, sending Naruto into the air.

It then jumped into the air. Before it could kill Naruto, a fist appeared in its face, cracking the side of the faceplate.

This sent Tristan into the ground. Naruto was then carried safely to the ground.

'Baachan…' Naruto muttered. Tsunade looked at the crater in the ground.

'I will not forgive you for attacking us!' Tsunade roared.

'Ayaya...didn't expect you to have such strength.' Tristan replied. Gwen suddenly jerked up as she was shocked that the robot could talk.

Tristan then quickly launched more missiles which Tsunade destroyed by punching. She then jumped towards it, making it actively dodge due to the power behind her attacks.

Tsunade then slammed her fist into the ground, creating a crack, forcing Tristan to take flight.

She then quickly kicked at Tristan, whom flew even further up into the sky.

'Time to get serious it seems.' Tristan said in a condescending manner.

Tsunade ignored it as she clenched her fist tighter, angered at the many lives Tristan had taken.

She jumped and threw her fist into Tristan's core. Before the attack landed however, the core glowed orange as a large energy beam emerged from it, striking Tsunade into the wall.

Then, nets were ejected and aimed towards Tsunade, preventing her from moving.

Tsunade spat as she drew on more strength and broke out of the nets before charging at Tristan with blinding speed.

Tristan began moving side to side to dodge her attacks but Tsunade began sending a barrage of punches, which resulted in her landing a punch.

Tristan's faceplate properly cracked this time, revealing circuitry.

'...' Tristan crouched, not saying a word.

'HIYAH!' Tsunade didn't let down her guard as she threw another attack.

This time however, she felt her body go weak. Very quickly, Tsunade's transformation went undone as she reverted to her actual form.

'What…' She gasped as she fell limp to the floor, feeling all her strength being sapped away.

'Hmph.' Tristan muttered as it raised both its arms, merging them together to create a mega cannon. Crimson light began emitting from the cannon.

'Baachan!' Naruto roared as he created Rasengans in each of his palms.

'RASENGAN SPIRAL!' He rotated in front of Tsunade, blocking the incoming energy blast.

'We gotta help him!' Gwen said as she stood up unsteadily.

Max held onto her shoulders, allowing her to stand without falling. Three figures walked up from beside them.

'You don't have to overexert yourself. We will take him down.'

'Yeah. I still need to get revenge for getting knocked out so easily.'

It was Noire, Vert, and Uni.

After the clash of attacks ended, Naruto was knocked down onto the floor. As Tristan prepared another attack, gunfire forced it to move away.

Then, a huge magic spear protuded from the ground as it threaten to stab through Tristan.

'Sylhet Spear!' Tristan growled as it dove past the attack.

Suddenly, a rapier came into view. Tristan activated a barrier which deflected the rapier.

Tristan then landed. Irritated, it's right eye glowed black.

'This charade has gone for long enough.' It then raised its arms. Yellow energy gathered as they formed a huge ball.

'Spherical Nuke!' Tristan threw the ball towards the group.

As everyone shuddered at the sheer power, Tsunade, now having recovered her usual form, dashed towards the attack and slammed her fist into it, coating her hand with chakra in an attempt to either disperse or send the attack back.

As she did so however, her hand started ripping into shreds and bones started to show.

'Creation Rebirth!' Tsunade roared and the blue diamond on her forehead spreaded out into black markings. A red aura engulfed her in entirety.

Her shredded hand began healing at incredible speed. Each and every time her body began dying, her ability would restore it almost immediately.

It almost seemed as if it would never end.

Soon, the attack ran out of steam and disappeared. The feedback from it knocked everyone out except for Naruto.

Naruto was about to praise Tsunade when he noticed something. Notably the fact that only half of Tsunade had remained.

It seemed that although Tsunade stopped the attack, near the end, she died due to her natural lifespan being shortened too much.

It was a miracle that the attack stopped right when it was in the middle of devouring Tsunade.

Tears streamed down Naruto's cheeks. Roaring, he activated his transformation. A red chakra cloak enveloped him.

He kicked Tristan, landing a hit on the head as it was seemingly unable to move as fast anymore after the previous attack.

Then, Naruto used his chakra hands to slap Tristan into the ground.

He quickly attacked further, not giving Tristan any chance of counterattacking.

Soon, he dragged it into the air and prepared his final attack.

'Vermillion Rasengan!' A purple Rasengan with red outline that is a little over twice the size of the usual Rasengan appeared in Naruto's palm.

He attacked the defenceless Tristan...only to get interrupted by an electric blade.

They all landed on the floor, ready for battle.

'Sasuke…'

'Naruto…'
