Annabeth's POV

The second Annabeth had heard Harry's name, she knew that this quest was going to get a whole lot harder. Once he went through the doors, Annabeth heard a huge commotion. There was yelling and complaining. The teachers told them to start heading to their dorms. But, teen being teens, they continued yelling about how unfair that was.

I mean, they kinda have a point. But for us, this is even worse news. Poor Harry. He's only fourteen and has to be dragged into this. Since he was eleven actually.

Annabeth was reminded of her boyfriend, Percy. She didn't tell anyone but, Harry sorta reminded her of Percy. Except Harry was much more mature for sure. Suddenly, a voice popped Annabeth put of her thoughts.

"SHUT IT!"

And with that, the yelling stopped.

Oh. Thanks Thalia.

She heard a door close and Thalia continued.

"I'm sure they'll sort out whatever just happened. Just, let's follow what the teachers said and go to the dorms".

No one moved.

Now it's my turn.

Annabeth stood up and put on the scariest glare she could muster.

"Now".

They all scurried away, even Leo before he realized what he did. Thalia started laughing.

"You have to teach me that".

Annabeth shrugged, "I don't think I could even teach myself. People just naturally back away from me when I'm mad".

The demigods all grouped together, (once Leo came back), and headed back to the dorms. They quickly and swiftly entered the Gryffindor common room, then tapped the fireplace eleven times, they entered and sat down on the couches and chairs. Well... Thalia and Leo both face planted into the couches but that was all.

All the demigods stood in silence for a bit. It was a comfortable silence though

They have all grown used to each other's presence.

"Hey," Nico said, "Do you think the reason we got sent here was because Hecate knew what was coming..? Yet she didn't do anything".

"In all honesty, yeah. Harry's a pretty capable wizard. He would be able to handle some things, but... This tournament is for seventeen year olds, excluding us obviously", Annabeth said.

"Who knows? Maybe she can see the future. She's a witch after all", Frank said.

"That's would make sense but then she would have been able to predict the future of certain events. Like the second Titan war or the Giant war" Hazel said, tapping her chin.

"Maybe she can just see what she wants", Jason said.

Piper responded, "But even so, she would probably want to see some things. Like how this is going to play out with Harry".

"Maybe she can only see a specific distance into time. She is a God after all, they don't really explain everything to us, demigods", Will said.

Annabeth pondered this, "Or maybe, she does know. Or she can only see into her world. Maybe-"

That's it. Your theories are pretty correct but I'll explain clearly... Meet me Thursday, the nineteenth of November at the secret hideout. Aka through the tunnel you just saw.

"Alright", all the demigods said in unison.

And tell Percy what I told you guys, he is currently talking to Harry. He is on his way back to the dorms. I hope you like the way I design them. I tried to go with more of your parents than you guys, I don't know very, very much about your personalities but hopefully it is okay.

"Of course", they all said together again.

Suddenly, Annabeth heard the door of the dorms open.

Finally, Percy is here.

"So what did I miss?" He said.

Annabeth got up and hugged him, much to his surprise.

"Congrats on being the Olympus champion. Now we just have to focus on Harry. That's going to be a bit hard, but oh well".

"Did you find out why he got chosen?" Jason asked.

"No, I didn't even know until he came through the door and Hecate told me".

"Aren't they making him get out of the tournament or have it easy? Or...?" Calypso asked.

"Unfortunately, they are making him compete, because apparently when you put your name in, you sign some sort of magical contract. I think it may kill you if you don't do it. I don't really know, but that's just how it is".

Annabeth said, "Hecate told us to deliver a message to you. She wanted us to tell you that the nineteenth of November, which is a Thursday, we are all going to go through the tunnel and go to that secret hideout that we went earlier. Except this time, we're probably not gonna be blacked out".

"She's going to explain her powers to us about how she can see sort of it's the future, or how she doesn't. I have no idea", Reyna said.

"Yeah, well, in the meantime, what should we do? I mean, I heard the Gryffindors having a party, but I don't think that's exactly what we should be doing", Nico said.

Go ahead and enjoy yourselves. You all deserve it anyway, you shouldn't need to focus anything on anything right now, all you need to care about is the fact that Harry is going to compete. I'll talk to you more on the nineteenth about this. Be prepared and please have a good memory, or at least bring some paper to write some stuff down. I'm talking to you, Percy.

"Hey! What do you mean talking to me?" Percy said, "I can have good memory when I want to".

"Sure Percy, sure. Come on, even though we're teens, we never really do anything. And now, we have this entire huge magical fridge or whatever that is and a huge room. Let's do something fun at least".

"I can't disagree with that. Right, Annabeth?" Percy said playfully.

Annabeth looked like she was thinking, "Okay, maybe. But I'm not going to join you. I'm just gonna go, sit in the corner and read some books".

"Nope, you're coming with me", Percy said, and then he scooped her from her legs and dragged her to the kitchen.

"Wait, what?! Percy! Put me down", she said, blushing profoundly.

"Sorry, no can do!"

The demigods finally learned how to work the speakers on the walls, so they ended up playing music and eating some cupcakes that they 'asked' from the refrigerator.

They all tried to enjoy the time that they had for the moment. Because they knew that the future was not going to be easy.
