~ Day 276 ~
Disorder
The days passed without Xion. Axel no longer came to the usual spot. But despite what was going on, Draxon, Roxas, and Mew stayed together, going about their missions and meeting up for ice cream.
(Destiny Islands)
One day, Draxon and Roxas came to Destiny Islands and gazed out at the clear, blue ocean. Mew was back at the castle, waiting for their return as they wanted to be alone together. They watched as the waves washed upon the shore, calming them with their sound. Then, a vision appeared in both their minds for only a brief moment.
In this vision, Devon, Sora, and Kairi were on the same beach as them, talking and laughing with each other only days before the Destiny Island's destruction and the start of their journey.
Draxon and Roxas were soon brought back into reality and they glanced down at the sand beneath their feet. Draxon saw a blue-yellow seashell similar to the ones that Xion brought him and Roxas. He bends down, picks it up, and holds it in the palm of his right-hand, staring down at it. All he could think about right now was his best friend, Xion. There were just so many questions left unanswered. Was Xion alright? Why would she leave? Where was she now? And would they ever see her again?
"Xion..." Draxon mutters
The young teen closes his hand on the seashell and glances back out at the ocean. Roxas stares at Draxon, feeling just as bad as he was. He wish there was a way to comfort him. Suddenly, he saw something in the left corner of his eye and he gasped. Roxas pats Draxon's left-shoulder, grabbing his attention.
"Draxon, look!" Roxas exclaims
The two boys look over towards their left and they saw a hooded figure walking over the wooden bridge to the smaller island. Draxon's eyes widened in surprise. Could it be her? Was it Xion? The figure had Xion's body shape so it must be
her.
"C'mon!" Draxon says
Draxon and Roxas run over to the small island, making their way up to Xion. They cross over the bridge and step onto the island.
"Xion!" Draxon and Roxas exclaim in unison
Xion turned to face the two boys and they stared at each other. Draxon and Roxas both had smiles on their faces, happy to see that their friend was alright and safe. But when Xion removes her hood, their faces turn to surprise and shock as they saw someone they didn't expect. Standing infront of them in Xion's place was Zexion, who was long thought to have perished at Castle Oblivion. But why was he here?
"Surely... you must've known that this was going to happen." Zexion says
"Why would I know?" A voice asks
The two boys glanced back at the bridge and they saw Riku standing there. Draxon and Roxas shifted their gaze back and forth between Zexion and Riku, staring at them in utter confusion. Just what was going on?
"Because, in your memory, you've been to a number of worlds before you came to this one." Zexion says
Zexion and Riku began walking around the two young teens.
"And of course, in those worlds, the only beings you met were the dark kind." Zexion and Riku say in unsion in a creepy tone
Suddenly, Draxon and Roxas were both overwhelmed with pain and they clutched their heads with both hands. Zexion and Riku's voices echoed in their minds as they spoke.
"That's all that's left in your heart. The darkest of memories. Your memories of home are gone... Every one." Zexion says
Eventually, the two boys fell on their knees.
"That's a lie! I remember everyone from the island!"
Draxon and Roxas were gone and in their place was Xion, holding her head with her left-hand while using her right-hand
to hold herself up.
"They're my... my... my closest friends!"
Xion fell onto her right-side and she faded away, becoming Riku as he held his head with both hands, grunting in pain.
"And who threw away those friends? Maybe it was your own actions that you've forgotten." Zexion says
Riku faded away and became Sora, continuing to writhe in pain.
"It was you who destroyed your home." Zexion says
Sora faded away and in his place was Devon. He opened his eyes and his pupils dialate, becoming narrow. It was as though his mind was in agony.
(Moments later)
After all the chaos that had happened, Xion felt weak and was now lying in Riku's arms.
"Who... am I? What... am I here for?" Xion asks
Riku stares down at the raven-haired girl, feeling pity for her. As he did, he remembers back to his conversation with Namine in Twilight Town.
(Flashback)
In the Old Mansion, Riku met with Naminé in the White Room. The two of them sat in chairs at a long table across from
each other.
"So we meet again." Naminé says
"You made me a promise." Riku says
"I remember. It was to look after Sora and Devon. I'm sorry... I'm not sure I've kept that promise very well." Naminé says
"Can you tell me what's happening?" Riku asks
"Some of their memories are missing." Naminé says
"How could that be?" Riku asks
"Their memories are escaping into a third person. And now they're starting to become a part of her." Naminé says
"Isn't there a way to bring back just Sora and Devon's memories?" Riku asks
"If they're still separate, then I think I can take out fragments of it." Naminé says
Naminé picks up her sketchbook and looks down at the picture of Draxon, Roxas, Xion, and Axel.
"But if her memories and their memory fragments are completely weaved together, I would need to untangle them from each other and that would take more time. Which means it will take longer for Sora to wake up again, and longer for Devon to regain some of his lost power. And DiZ wouldn't tolerate that." Naminé says
"So what can you do?" Riku asks
Naminé puts the sketchbook back down on the table and glances back up at Riku.
"If I just jump in and rearrange her memory, then Sora might wake up, only to find out no one remembers him anymore. The same could be said for Devon. If I try to intervene and fix his memories, the friends that he's made on his journey so far would suddenly not remember who he is anymore. It's a risk I just can't take. It's too late either way. Sora's awakening and Devon's recovery has already been delayed. Sora's Nobody... and Devon's Nobody... and the one that's absorbing their memories... none of us imagined that they would fight so hard to become their own person. Unfortunately, the only real solution... is for the three of them to disappear." Naminé says
Naminé sighs as she continues.
"Did you know her face was blank at first? But now, there's a face that is clearly visible. I think that's proof that she has entered their memories. Their memories, their Nobody's memories, and her memories... They're all a jumbled mess now. And to put them back into one... I'm afraid there's no other way." Naminé says
"All right..." Riku says
(Present time)
Riku looks over to his left and watches as Draxon and Roxas run into a dark corridor back to home. Then, he turns his attention to Xion, who looked calm in her sleep.
(Flashback)
Draxon, Roxas, and Xion sat on the bent tree while Axel leaned back against it with his arms behind his head. Draxon sat in the middle of the trio with Xion on his left and Roxas on his right.
"Is it that I'm not supposed to exist?" Xion asks
"Well, what do you want to do, Xion?" Axel asks
"I want... I want to be here with you three." Xion says
Xion glances down and clasps her hands together. Draxon reaches over to Xion with his right-hand and takes hold of her hand.
"Then... come back with us." Draxon says smiling at her
"I can't... not the way I am now..." Xion says
Xion looks up at Draxon.
"But... what will it take for me to be like you?" Xion asks
Draxon looks down a bit, unsure what to say. The four friends gaze out at the sunset as it cast it's orange color over the horizon and the glittering waters.
(Twilight Town)
Axel sat up on the clock tower, taking some bites of his Sea-salt ice cream. He was soon joined by Draxon, Roxas, and Mew, who came around the corner.
"Hey, Axel. It's been a while." Draxon greets
"You think so?" Axel asks
Draxon and Roxas both sat down next to Axel while Mew floated alongside them.
"So... we went to the beach. And there was this girl who looked kind of like Xion... but we couldn't get close enough to tell for sure." Draxon says
"Maybe we just imagined it." Roxas says
"To be honest... I'm not entirely sure today's mission really happened. It felt like waking up from a dream or something." Draxon says
Draxon looks over at Axel.
"Axel, do you remember our promise? When we agreed that on our next day off, we would go to the beach?" Draxon says
Draxon glances away and out towards the sunset.
"Maybe that's why... we saw Xion there. Because we wanted her to be there." Draxon says
"Mew..." Mew says looking at Draxon concerned
Axel rose up to his feet, standing on the ledge. He let out a sigh, but then smiled as he glances over at Draxon, Roxas, and Mew.
"Wanna go look for her?" Axel asks
"What?" Draxon asks
"Mew?" Mew asks cocking it's head slightly to the left
"Beginning tomorrow, let's use our spare time to find Xion." Axel says
"Sounds good." Draxon says
Draxon and Roxas got up onto their feet and stood next to Axel.
"Let's do it." Roxas says
"Mew." Mew says nodding in agreement
~ Day 277 ~
Searching
(Kalos Region)
Draxon and Mew exit out of a dark corridor somewhere along Route 18, starting their daily mission of Heartless Elimination.
"Back in Kalos." Draxon says
"Mew." Mew says
"But where are we? Which way should we go?" Draxon asks
Suddenly, the Keyblade Wielder and small Pokémon hear a scream somewhere nearby.
"I'm guessing that way." Draxon says
Elsewhere on another part of Route 18, Ash, Pikachu, Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont were walking along a path while Serena guided them with her digital map.
"I'm sure there's a Pokémon Center around here." Serena says
"I hope so." Bonnie says
"I wonder if the professor's already there." Clemont says
"Don't worry about a thing, guys!" Ash says
"From over there!" Serena says pointing down the path
"Right! Let's go!" Ash says
Ash and his friends move with haste down the path, wanting to help whoever was in trouble.
Draxon and Mew run through the forest, following the screams until they come to an area that had a nearby river and dozens of large rocks. They were the first to arrive on the scene as they find a woman, who had her leg stuck in a fissure. And not only that, they saw that she was surrounded by four Water Core Heartless. The woman looked up at the Heartless in fear. She had never seen such dark creatures before. They certaintly weren't Pokémon as they had looked completely different. And now, they were closing in on her.
"Somebody! Please help me!" The woman cries out
Almost immedately, Draxon summons his Keyblade: Soul Calibur into his right-hand and leaps up to the woman's aid with Mew following his lead.
One of the Water Cores moves to attack the trapped woman, coating it's body with water for a wave attack, but was quickly struck down by Draxon, who swinged his crystal Keyblade with a left-downward slash as he flew over the woman. Landing infront of the woman, he turns left and hurls his Keyblade at another Water Core. The third Water Core shoots a jet stream of water at Draxon from behind, but he whirls around and jumps over to the left, dodging the water blast. In mid-air, Draxon aims his Keyblade at the Heartless and launches a red fireball at it, destroying it. The final Water Core flies around in a veil of water and heads straight for the young teen. Draxon stood his ground and he held his Keyblade tightly as the Heartless flew towards him. Once it was in reach, Draxon cuts through the Water Core with a right slash, slicing it horizontally in half.
After the small group of Heartless were defeated, Draxon and Mew turn their attention to the woman. The Keyblade Wielder kneels down to her and checks to see if she was okay.
"Are you alright?" Draxon asks
"Huh?" The woman says
The woman looked up at Draxon with a stunned expression. She had watched him defeat the Heartless and was amazed that he did not use any Pokémon. He was so fast and incredibly strong that they didn't stand a chance. And she also noticed Draxon was accompanied by Mew, the rarest of all Pokémon. Seeing as he had saved her life, she felt that Draxon was someone she could definitely trust. The woman directs their attention to her leg, which was still in the fissure.
"My leg. It's stuck." The woman says
Draxon de-summons his Keyblade and extends his right-hand to the woman.
"Here. Take my hand." Draxon says offering his hand
The woman grabs Draxon's hand and the Keyblade Wielder attempts to pull her out of the crevice while Mew helps out by pushing the woman from behind. But no matter how hard they pulled or pushed, her leg would not move.
"Dang! You're stuck real good. We'll need some more help." Draxon says
Mew suddenly heard footsteps approaching from the ledge above them and calls out to it's partner.
"Mew! Mew!" Mew says
"What is it, Mew? More Heartless?" Draxon asks
"Mew!" Mew says pointing up at the ledge
The two of them glance up at the ledge and brace themselves as the footsteps grew louder and louder. Someone or something was approaching them fast. In that moment, Ash and his friends arrive at the scene and they look down over the ledge to see Draxon, Mew, and the trapped woman down below.
"Draxon! Mew!" Ash exclaims
"Pika pika!" Pikachu exclaims
"Ash! Guys!" Draxon exclaims
Suddenly, two more Water Cores appear behind Draxon and Mew, catching their attention. Draxon quickly summons Soul Calibur back into his hand and swings his Keyblade with a right slash, launching a blue electric blast at the Heartless, vaporizing them into oblivion. Then, more Heartless in the area. These were Earth Cores, High Soldiers, and Helmed Bodies.
"Ah! Heartless!" Ash exclaims
"Pika!" Pikachu gasps
"Hang on! We're coming!" Ash says
Ash leaps down from rock to rock with Pikachu hanging on from his right-shoulder, making his way down to Draxon, Mew, and the woman. Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont followed them down, sliding down the slope. Everyone glanced over at the Heartless as they appeared.
"Ash, you and the others help her out. We'll deal with the Heartless." Draxon says
Draxon jumps down to the other side of the river with Mew right behind him.
Draxon slams his Keyblade down on a High Soldier, then he turns his Keyblade over and slashes another High Soldier with a left-uppercut slash. Another High Soldier leaps at the young teen and takes a swipe at him with it's claws on it's right-hand. Draxon leans back, whirls around, and cuts down the Heartless with a right slash. An Earth Core charges at Draxon, spinning like a drill from the left. Draxon saw this and quickly jumps away, dodging the Heartless. He then aims his Keyblade at the Earth Core and shoots a blue light blast in it's face, destroying it.
Mew floated in the air infront a group of five High Soldiers. One of them leaps at the small Pokémon with a swipe of it's claws, but Mew quickly teleports away in a flash of white light. It reappears above the Heartless and using Ancient Power, Mew conjures up a silver orb of light through it's afterimage and hurls it down at the dark creatures, destroying them. A Helmed Body charges at Mew with it's body enveloped in a dark aura in an attempt to ram it with it's stomach. Mew encases itself in it's pink barrier and smashes into the bloated Heartless, sending it rolling backwards until it slams into a tree.
While the fight against the Heartless was going on, Ash kneels down to the woman, offering his hands to her.
"Grab hold of my hand." Ash says
The woman takes hold of Ash's hands as he gets ready to pull with Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie lining up behind him in a human chain.
"Okay! Pull!" Ash says
The heroes all pull as hard as they can while Pikachu helps to push the woman out from behind her back.
"She's in there good." Ash says
"It looks like her leg's really stuck." Serena says
"Clemont, can't you do something about this?" Bonnie asks
"Yes, of course! I thought we would encounter a situation precisely like this one!" Clemont says
"Whatever, just hurry up!" Bonnie says
Clemont uses the Aipom Arm, which extends out of his backpack, to push the rock, making some room for the woman's leg.
"Now stay still, and I will have you out of there right away." Clemont says
"Ash, quick!" Clemont says
"Right!" Ash says
Now, with Clemont holding the rocks more open, Ash, Serena, and Bonnie pull the woman's arms using all their might. Eventually, they manage to pull her free out of the fissure and they all fall backwards.
"Are you okay?" Ash asks concerned
"Yes, thanks a lot." The woman says grateful
Everyone looks over at Draxon and Mew as they were now wrapping up the last of the Heartless. There was now only three High Soldiers, four Earth Cores, and one Helmed Body left.
Mew lifts up three High Soldiers using Psychic and sends them flying into nearby trees, destroying them on impact. Three more Earth Cores stalk towards Mew. One of them lunges at the small Pokémon with a vicious bite, but Mew flies backwards and counters with Ancient Power, launching a silver orb at it, effectively destroying it. Then, it destroys the other two Earth Cores with an Aura Sphere, conjuring up a blue orb of powerful energy in it's paws and hurling it at them. The orb strikes the two Heartless and detonates in a medium-sized explosion on impact.
A Helmed Body leaps up into the air and drops down towards Draxon, attempting to smash down on him with it's large belly. Draxon glances up noticing the incoming Heartless and quickly jumps and rolls away. The Helmed Body bounces back onto it's feet and rushes at the Keyblade Wielder with it's stomach. Draxon jumps over the Helmed Body and strikes it's head in mid-air, causing it to roll forward and stop on it's backside. Landing behind the Heartless, Draxon spins around and delivers a strong left swing to it's back, sending bloated creature flying forward. The Helmed Body disintegrates soon after, releasing it's heart.
Draxon and Mew turn towards the last remaining Heartless, which was an Earth Core. But before they could move to destroy it, the Heartless does something that neither one of them expected. The Earth Core sinks into the ground, creating a pile of sand, then it rises up in the form of a large sand tower.
The Earth Tower spews large rocks from it's mouth straight at the two heroes. Draxon and Mew quickly move around the Heartless, dodging the rocks it spouts. Then, the Earth Tower dives down and snatches Draxon in it's mouth, devouring him. Mew looks on in horror. Even Ash and his friends were horrified by what they just saw.
"Mew!" Mew cries out
"Draxon!" Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie cry out in unison
Suddenly, a large spherical telekinetic explosion of blue light completely disintegrates the Earth Tower from the inside, creating a loud thundering sound and blue ripples in space. The attack was so strong and powerful that it actually made the ground shake, which made Ash and the others stumble around a bit as they tried to maintain their balance. Then, everyone saw Draxon levitating in mid-air with his arms spread out. The young teen drops down to the ground and lands in a crouched position. He rises up onto his feet, de-summons Soul Calibur, and brushes the sand off his coat and shakes it off his head. The Pokémon Heroes, the woman, and even Mew stared at him in stunned amazement.
"Whoa..." Ash says
Draxon walks up to Mew and rubs it's head with his right-hand and a smile on his face, which made the small Pokémon let out a coo of comfort. Having defeated the Heartless, the Keyblade Wielder jumps back up to the others with Mew following him.
"Nice work dealing with those Heartless, Draxon." Serena says
"That last move you pulled off was amazing!" Clemont says
"Yeah! You and Mew rock!" Ash says
"Pika!" Pikachu says in agreement
"Thanks." Draxon says
The woman stands up and looks over at Draxon, very grateful for him defending her.
"You saved me. Thank you." The woman says
"Don't mention it." Draxon says
"How'd you get your leg stuck like that?" Serena asks
"I lost my balance. Searching for this." The woman says
The woman holds out her left-hand, presenting a Mega Stone to the group.
"It's a Mega Stone!" Ash, Serena, Bonnie, and Clemont say surprised in unison
"Right! The truth is I've been looking for it everywhere!" The woman says
"I can understand why this happened." Serena says
"What about Professor Sycamore? We're late!" Bonnie says
"You guys were going to see Professor Sycamore?" Draxon asks
"Yeah. We were just on our way to the Pokémon Center to meet him." Ash says
"Mind if I tag along?" Draxon asks
"Sure!" Ash says
"Absolutely!" Serena says
"So, where is the Pokémon Center?" Draxon asks
"We were wondering that ourselves." Ash says
Ash turns to the woman, hoping that she would know where the Pokémon Center was.
"Is there a Pokémon Center around here?" Ash says
"Now you just leave everything to me. I'll thank you by taking you all right there!" The woman says
"You really mean it? Thank you so much!" Ash says
"Pika pika!" Pikachu says happily
"Mew! Mew!" Mew says happily
(Moments later)
The group follows the woman through the forest until they stop infront of an ambulance wagon.
"An ambulance?" Ash says confused
The woman whips off her clothes, revealing herself to be Nurse Joy.
"I can't believe you're Nurse Joy!" Clemont says
"Oh boy. Neither can I." Bonnie says
"Nurse Joy? As in a nurse for Pokémon?" Draxon asks
"Oh I always dress like that when I'm doing fieldwork. Hop on in!" Nurse Joy says
"Okay!" Everyone says
Draxon, Ash, and the other all climb into the ambulance and Nurse Joy drives off down the forest road.
(Moments later)
The Pokémon Center stood near a small river along the road on Route 18. Waiting outside the building was a young boy named Emilio. Emilio was waiting patiently for Nurse Joy to return. He had been waiting for a long while and he knew that she was very late.
"Nurse Joy is so late." Emilio says
Emilio soon head the approaching ambulance coming down the road. He looks over to his left and saw the vehicle turn the corner and drive straight towards him.
"There she is! It's about time!" Emilio says
Emilio heads on inside the Pokémon Center while Nurse Joy, Draxon, Ash, and the others exit out the ambulance.
"We're here. I told you it was okay to leave everything to me." Nurse Joy says
"Thanks for the lift, Nurse Joy!" Ash says
"And thanks for your help!" Nurse Joy says
Across the river unknown to the heroes, the troublesome Team Rocket Trio, Jessie, James, and Meowth were spying on them.
"First we hear about a nutty Nurse Joy who often leaves her Pokémon Center unguarded, which gives us the perfect chance to swipe piles of Pokémon." James says
"But who knew the Twerps and their Pokémon would be tagging along?" Jessie says
"It'll be easy to grab Pikachu for a song!" Meowth says
"We're right and their wrong!" Jessie, James, and Meowth say in unison
"Wobbafett!" Wobbafett says with it's trademark salute
The group enters the Pokémon Center and notice that Prof. Sycamore wasn't there yet.
"That's great! The professor hasn't arrived yet." Serena says
"This might be a good time to have a look at your Pokémon." Nurse Joy says
"Please! That would be great!" Serena says
"Okay then." Nurse Joy says
The Pokémon Nurse places her small red bag on the reception desk on her left.
"Please put your Pokéballs here." Nurse Joy says
Nurse Joy goes to open the door to the next room, but could not open it for some reason.
"Nurse Joy, is something wrong?" Serena asks
"Let me look." Clemont says
"But it's just..." Nurse Joy says
Clemont goes up to the door and peeks through the side. Peering inside, he notices a broom, a table, and a round, stroller chair blocking the door.
"It appears that there's some sort of barricade just on the other side of the door." Clemont says
"Well... you see..." Nurse Joy says sheepishly
The nurse turns to the door and speaks in a raised voice to her assistant who was inside.
"Open up, Audino! Did you do this? Oh you did, didn't you?" Nurse Joy says
"Audino?" Ash says
"Hold on. An Audino's in there?" Bonnie asks
"It's my understanding that in some other regions, Audino works as Nurse Joy's assistant at the Pokémon Center." Clemont says
Nurse Joy bangs on the door, raising her voice even more.
"Audino, open up!" Nurse Joy says in a demanding voice
"Audino!" Audino says
From the sound of Audino's voice, it appeared to be upset.
"Nurse Joy? You mind filling us in?" Draxon asks
"Are you two having a fight?" Serena asks
Nurse Joy turns to address the group on what was going on between her and her Audino.
"Well, Audino's angry because I didn't say when I was going to be coming back today." Nurse Joy says
She turns and looks back at the door.
"It can get really upset. And it's going to stay upset for quite some time." Nurse Joy says
The nurse looks back at the group.
"I'm sorry, but would you mind letting Audino and me speak alone for a moment." Nurse Joy says
The heroes nod in understanding and they head outside, allowing Nurse Joy have a talk with Audino in private.
"So what should we do now?" Bonnie asks
"Well, I'd really like to help the two of them make up." Ash says
"Pikachu..." Pikachu says in an affirmative tone
"Hey, Draxon. Why are you here anyway?" Bonnie asks
"Well, me and Mew are actually looking for a friend of ours. Her name's Xion." Draxon says
"Xion?" Ash says
"Pika?" Pikachu says
"She's a Keyblade Wielder like me. She's got black hair, blue eyes, and wears a black coat like I do. You guys haven't seen anyone like her around, have you?" Draxon asks
Ash and his friends shared glances with each other, then look back at Draxon.
"No. Can't say that we have." Ash says
"Oh... Okay." Draxon says
"Mew..." Mew says in a concerned voice
"Did something happen?" Serena asks
"She's gone missing. And right now, my two other friends, Roxas and Axel, are in other worlds trying to find her. I thought maybe she might've stumbled here in Kalos. But I guess she's not here." Draxon says
"I wish there was some way we could help you, Draxon." Clemont says
"Yeah." Bonnie says
"Hey!" Emilio says
The heroes look over to their right and they saw Emilio approaching them.
"Can you guys talk to Audino?" Emilio asks
"Who are you?" Ash asks
"I'm Emilio."
"My name's Ash. And this is Pikachu."
"Pika Pikachu." Pikachu greets
"And I'm Serena."
"I'm Draxon. This is Mew."
"Mew Mew!" Mew greets waving it's right-paw
"I'm Clemont."
"Hi! I'm Bonnie. And this is Dedenne."
"Denene!" Dedenne greets
"And that's Squishy." Bonnie says
"Nice to meet you. Is there any way you can get those two to make up? They're really close and they usually get along!" Emilio says
"You must know them pretty well then." Draxon says
"Come on!" Emilio says
Emilio leads the group around the building, taking them over to a window which had two boxes just outside.
"Audino's in here. We can get to it by climbing through this window." Emilio says
Emilio climbs up onto the box and opens up the window. The group climb in through the window and find Audino taking care of a Zigzagoon, ignoring Nurse Joy's words.
"Come on, Audino. Open up. Let me in, Audino, please! I'm really sorry for not contacting you." Nurse Joy says

"Audino?" Emilio says
"Audino?" Audino says curious yet questionable voice
"Please don't worry. These nice people are just worried about you." Emilio says
"Au audino." Audino says
"Za-a-a-zagoon!" Zigzagoon says
The racoon-like Pokémon jumps down from the hospital bed and zig zags out of the room, moving past the group.
"See, we think it'd be great if you could make up with Nurse Joy." Ash says
"Everyone who comes to the Pokémon Center really needs the both of you." Serena says
"Audino." Audino says feeling thoughtful
Outside the Pokémon Center, Professor Sycamore arrives in his blue jeep. He exits his car and was about to head inside when he saw a young male Trainer carrying an injured Makuhita on his back.
"Hang in there, Makuhita! The Pokémon Center's close! Just a little farther!" The Trainer says
The Trainer passes Prof. Sycamore and heads into the Pokémon Center, urgently requesting Nurse Joy's help.
"You gotta help us, Nurse Joy! We really need your help! Please!" The Trainer says
"But-what can I do?" Nurse Joy says
The nurse looks back at the blocked door.
"This is bad..." Nurse Joy says
"Why don't you let me take a look?" A voice says
Nurse Joy turns back around and was surprised by who she saw.
"Hey, wait a minute. You're... you're Professor Sycamore." Nurse Joy says surprised
Prof. Sycamore examines Makuhita while it groans in pain.
"Yes. We must act immediately. Makuhita needs help right this instant!" Prof. Sycamore says
"Yes. Of course!" Nurse Joy says
"Open up, Audino! We have an emergency patient!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino!" Audino says surprised
Audino opens up the door and it saw the injured Makuhita on it's Trainer's back.
"Au audino!" Audino says concerned
"Get everything ready now!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino." Audino says nodding it's head in acknowledgement
"Professor Sycamore!" Ash says
"You're here!" Draxon says
"Hello, Ash! Hello, Draxon! This Makuhita's in trouble! Will you help us out?" Prof. Sycamore says
"You bet!" Ash says
"Absolutely." Draxon says
"Audino no." Audino says
"Thanks." The Trainer says
(Moments later)
Inside the operating room, Nurse Joy looks over at Audino for assistance.
"Audino, go ahead." Nurse Joy says
"Audino au." Audino says in an affirmative voice
Makuhita's body was scanned from a scanning device above the hospital bed while it groans in pain.
"Ma... ku... hi... ta..." Makuhita groans in pain
"Audino..." Audino says concerned
Prof. Sycamore watched near the door as Nurse Joy and Audino worked to restore Makuhita. Seeing them both work hard to help Makuhita made him smile. Soon, he left the room, leaving Nurse Joy and her assistant to their task while he met with the others outside in the reception area.
"How's Makuhita doing?" The Trainer asks
"It's still being treated." Prof. Sycamore says
"How's it going?" Serena asks concerned
"We just have to leave them to their work. There's no need to worry with those two." Prof. Sycamore says noces
Everyone let out a sigh of relief. Prof. Sycamore soon notices the Mega Stone on the reception desk next to Nurse Joy's bag and it immediately caught his eye.
"What's this...?" Prof. Sycamore asks
"Nurse Joy just found that." Ash says
"It's a Mega Stone." Emilio says
Suddenly, the Pokémon Center chime sounds off and Nurse Joy and Audino exit the operating room, wheeling Makuhita out on a stroller bed.
"Makuhita's much better." Nurse Joy says with a smile
"Dino audino." Audino says
"Maku-hita!" Makuita says happily
"Makuhita!" The Trainer says overjoyed
Makuhita playfully tackles it's Trainer to the floor.
"Thank goodness you're well. Aw come on, come on." The Trainer chuckles
The Trainer looks up at the Pokémon Nurse and her assistant with a happy expression.
"Nurse Joy and Audino, thank you so much!" The Trainer says
"Makuhita!" Makuhita says grateful
"Well, it's the least we can do!" Nurse Joy says
The Trainer and his Makuhita both stand back up on their feet.
"How did this happen anyway?" Draxon asks
"Well, Makuhita and I were training when all of a sudden these dark creatures appeared and attacked us! They didn't look like any Pokémon we've ever seen before." The Trainer explains
"Dark creatures." Ash says
"You don't think..." Serena says
"Heartless. That must mean there might be more out there." Draxon says
(Moments later)
With Makuhita fully healed, both it and it's Trainer went on their way.
"Take good care!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino!" Audino says
As soon as they were gone, Nurse Joy glances left at Audino.
"Audino, what do you say we straighten things up?" Nurse Joy asks
"Audino." Audino says in agreement
The two walked back to the operation room while Draxon, Ash, and the others remained in the reception area. They were glad that Nurse Joy and Audino were able to put aside their arguing to help Makuhita and it's Trainer. Hopefully, this would help to mend their friendship.
"I'm so glad that Makuhita's feeling better." Serena says
"Nurse Joy has a lot of skill. She and Audino are just marvelous working as a team." Prof. Sycamore says
"You see, I told you those two really get along." Emilio says
"So why do they always fight so much?" Bonnie asks
"There must be some sort of explanation why." Prof. Sycamore says
"Oh, by the way, Professor. What do you know about Squishy?" Clemont asks
"Squishy?" Draxon asks
"Right. Squishy. Of course the situation needs to be looked into. Would it be possible to see Squishy right now?" Prof. Sycamore says
"Bonnie's been taking really good care of it." Clemont says
"Yeah!" Bonnie says
Bonnie opens up her bag and shows Squishy.
"Here we go. You'll be nice to the professor, right?" Bonnie says
"Squishy... Hello!" Prof. Sycamore greets
Squishy backs away a bit, feeling cautious. Bonnie saw this and assured it that there was nothing to worry about.
"It'll be okay." Bonnie says
Prof. Sycamore gently pets Squishy and as expected the green Pokémon was indeed squishy.
"Fascinating. It is rather squishy, isn't it?" Prof. Sycamore says
"That's why I named it Squishy!" Bonnie giggles
Draxon knelt down alongside Prof. Sycamore to get a look at Squishy and Mew floated behind him.
"Seems like you guys made a new friend while I was away. Where did it come from, Bonnie?" Draxon asks
"Mew..." Mew says intrigued
"I found Squishy in my bag and since then, we became great friends!" Bonnie says
"So, Professor? What do you think?" Ash asks
"Is it a new Pokemon?" Serena asks
"Well, I really can't say, yet. But I have been busy trying to find answers since you first contacted me. Talking with several research institutes. There's no record of anything like Squishy anywhere." Prof. Sycamore says
Prof. Sycamore takes out a cotton swab from his back and takes a slight sample of Squishy's cell structure by gently rubbing it's head with the cotton swab.
"So, until we can have a thorough look at Squishy's DNA structure... We won't know anything for certain." Prof. Sycamore says
"Just what are you anyway, Squishy?" Bonnie asks
The group opens up the door to the operation room and they saw Nurse Joy and Audino arguing again.
"I told you I was sorry, didn't I?" Nurse Joy says
"Au audino!" Audino says upset
"My goodness." Prof. Sycamore says
"And they're at it again..." Ash groans
"Won't the both of you relax, please?!" Serena asks kindly
"When did you two start fighting like this?" Clemont asks
Nurse Joy turns to the group as she recounts her story.
"Well, it started even before we were sent to this Pokémon Center..." Nurse Joy says
(Flashback)
A long while back, Nurse Joy was with her other sisters and cousins on the day that they were all promoted and assigned to their own Pokémon Centers. Their promotions were given by the Head Nurse, who happened to be a kind, elderly woman. When Nurse Joy was promoted and assigned to hers on Route 18, she recieved an Audino as her assistant.
"An Audino?!" Nurse Joy exclaims
"Audino." Audino says
Nurse Joy looked around and saw that the other Joys all got Wigglytuff as their partners.
"Everybody else has a Wigglytuff! So why am I the only one with an Audino, huh?" Nurse Joy exclaims
"When you focus on something, you have a slight tendency to forget everything else that's going on around you. So we decided it would be best to team you up with an experienced veteran assistant, this Audino." The Head Nurse says
"Aw, oh no." Nurse Joy groans
"This Audino has been practicing a long time. I think you'll agree it is exceptionally experienced and skilled. I'm sure Audino will be of great assistance to you." The Head Nurse says
"Audino!" Audino says happily
(Present time)
Nurse Joy looks over at Audino.
"You see, I have my own way of thinking and doing my work. You may have a lot of experience, but it's not going to help me." Nurse Joy says
"Audino no no." Audino says displeased
"I guess they both have a strong sense of responsibility, don't they?" Clemont says
"Say, there's something I've been meaning to ask you, Nurse Joy." Prof. Sycamore says
"Huh?" Nurse Joy says
"I believe you were the one who found this, right?" Prof. Sycamore says presenting the Mega Stone
"Why, yes." Nurse Joy says
Nurse Joy goes over to a desk and picks out a green book about Mega Evolution, showing it to the group.
"Look here. When Audino and I were looking for a better method of treating Pokémon, I ran across this book." Nurse Joy says
"You don't say. That's the book I wrote on Mega Evolution." Prof. Sycamore says
"That's right! And reading this very book is how I learned that Audino can Mega Evolve!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino can Mega Evolve?" Ash asks surprised
"Really?" Draxon asks also surprised
"You wrote about that?" Clemont asks looking back at Prof. Sycamore
"I did." Prof. Sycamore says
"That's when I got an idea. If I could somehow increase Audino's healing powers by using Mega Evolution, we could use it to treat Pokemon." Nurse Joy says
"Audino." Audino says surprised
"So that's why you were looking for a Mega Stone, huh?" Ash says
"Pika." Pikachu says in comprehension
"That's right." Nurse Joy says nodding her head
"Dino au." Audino says pleased
"Well, maybe you should've talked to Audino about that first." Serena says
"I wanted to surprise Audino by secretly finding a Mega Stone first, then presenting it as a gift!" Nurse Joy says
"Like giving someone a present at a surprise party!" Bonnie says
"Dino audino!" Audino says surprised yet happy
"I'm so sorry, Audino." Nurse Joy apologizes
"Good! I'm glad you've cleared up your misunderstanding. Also, I happen to have a minature test synchronizer with me. Why don't we discover just what kind of Mega Stone you found? Okay?" Prof. Sycamore says
"That would be wonderful!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino au!" Audino says happily
Outside the Pokemon Center, the Team Rocket Trio scope out the building, planning their next dastardly move. James listen in to the conversation through a parabolic microphone while Jessie and Meowth spot a room full of Pokeballs through the windows of the Pokémon Center.
"There are plenty of Pokéballs in that room." Meowth says
"So let's go and grab every last one of them!" Jessie says
"Sounds to me like secret weapon time!' Meowth says
"Whatever that is. Turn this thing up!" James says
"Let's see what Mega Stone you have." Prof. Sycamore says
"A Mega Stone?!" James exclaims in surprise
"That's what he said." Jessie says
Prof. Sycamore places the Mega Stone with the Key Stone in his test synchronizer and begins running tests on the device. In no less than a minute, the tests were complete.
"There's no doubt about it. It's an Audinite!" Prof. Sycamore says
"Can it really be true?!" Nurse Joy says excited
"Au audino!" Audino says pleased with the discovery
The Pokémon Researcher takes the Audinite and gives it to Audino.
"Here, Audino. You should hold on to this." Prof. Sycamore says
"Au..." Audino says in awe
"I'm sure it'll come in handy someday." Prof. Sycamore says
Audino stares at the Pokémon Researcher and smiles, accepting the Mega Stone gladly.
"Audino!" Audino says happily
Suddenly, a loud crash sounds off through the air and the Pokémon Center rumbles violently.
"What's that?!" Serena asks in shock
"It came from the garden!" Nurse Joy says
Draxon, Mew, Ash, and Pikachu ran outside to investigate. As they look around, a Pokéball rolls across the ground, stopping right at their feet.
"A Pokéball?" Ash says
"Look! Over there!" Draxon exclaims
The two teens glance over to their right and they saw Team Rocket had attacked the building with a large mecha robot that looked like Meowth. Jessie was sitting on the mecha's right shoulder while James stood on the other shoulder as the mecha robot sucked up the captured Pokéballs and place them into a large capsule in it's body. The rest of the heroes came out and joined Draxon and Ash, shocked by what was going on.
"What's going on here?!" Ash says
"All the Pokémon! Oh no!" Nurse Joy exclaims in shock
"Enough to last a long time." Jessie says
"It's a towering treasure trove!" James says
"You guys again?!" Prof. Sycamore says
"You'd better stop it, you bad guys!" Emilio yells
Jessie and James glance over at the group with mischevious expressions clear on their faces as they began their motto.
"Prepare for trouble, you Twerps are the creeps!" Jessie says
"And make it double; we're in this for the keeps!" James says
"To protect the world from devastation!" Jessie says
"To unite all peoples within our nation!" James says
"To denounce the evils of not getting our share!" Jessie says
"Which in this case is everything; hoarders beware!" James says
"Jessie!"
"And James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!" Jessie says
"Since we got your Pokéballs, we've won the fight!" James says
"Meowth, that's right!" Meowth says
"Who's Team Rocket?" Nurse Joy asks
"Bad guys who steal people's Pokémon!" Ash says
"So that means our Pokémon..." Nurse Joy says
"Say no more, dope! We're catching 'em all and I've improved my Mega-Mega-Meowth, which is even stronger than Mega Evolution!" Meowth says
"Presenting the all-powerful Giga Evolution Giant!" James says
"We call it the Giga Meowth Machine! At first we thought we'd just take the Pokeballs in the Pokémon Center, but now we've put Pikachu and Mew to add on our list of goodies to grab, too!" Jessie says
"And all of your Mega Evolution chatter has also convinced us to take that Mega Stone away from you!" James says
"A catch that's long overdue! Meowth?" Jessie says
"Ya-hoo!" Meowth says
Jessie and James enter the mecha through two hatches on it's head and join Meowth at the controls.
"Giga-Giga-Meowth Machine! Do your thing!" Meowth says
The large mecha fires a net aimed straight for Ash, Pikachu, and Mew. Draxon saw that his partner Pokémon was in the net's flight path and he quickly moves to protect it.
"Mew! No!" Draxon cries out
Draxon and Ash hold their Pokémon close to them as the net entangles them both.
"All right, Meowth." Jessie says
"Let's reel the Twerps in!" James says
"Let the fun begin!" Meowth says
Draxon, Ash, Pikachu, and Mew were pulled towards the Mecha Meowth and were dangling in the air.
"You stop right there!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino no!" Audino says in an angry tone
"Huh? What's the deal?" Meowth says
"Now look! This is my Pokémon Center! You won't get away with this!" Nurse Joy yells
"Dino!" Audino says in affirmative tone
"Pikachu and Mew are more worth to us than to Twerps." Jessie says
"You just read my mind." Meowth says
"You ready, Audino?!" Nurse Joy asks
"Dino au!" Audino says
Audino takes hold of the Audinite in it's paw, determined to use it. Prof. Sycamore saw this and decided that now was the time to give them the Key Stone.
"I knew it!" Prof. Sycamore says
The Pokémon Researcher takes out the Key Stone from shirt pocket.
"Here! Nurse Joy, take this!" Prof. Sycamore says
Prof. Sycamore tosses the Key Stone to Nurse Joy, who catches it in her right-hand.
"With that, you and Audino can do this together! Mega Evolution will only occur when two hearts are bound together into one!" Prof. Sycamore says
"Audino!" Nurse Joy says
"Audino no!" Audino says determined
"Now that they're together, let's make our move!" James says
"You heard that, Meowth! Do it!" Jessie says
"It's a giga gala!" Meowth says
The Meowth Mecha extends it's other arm and shoots it forward at Audino, intent on snatch it and the Mega Stone.
"No! Nurse Joy! Audino!" Ash cries out
"Pika pika!" Pikachu cries out
"Mew!" Mew cries out
"Look out!" Bonnie shouts
"Get away!" Emilio shouts
The Key Stone in Nurse Joy's hand starts to shine with a golden light as she uses it.
"All right! Audino, Mega Evolve!" Nurse Joy says
The Audinite in Audino's paws shines with a purple light and Audino starts to glow with a colorful light as it mega evolves. With both Nurse Joy and Audino's hearts bound together, Audino changes it's form. Soon, the transformation was complete and it was now Mega Audino.
"Au-u-u-dino!"
Mega Audino breaks off the mecha's arm with a powerful uppercut.
"Oh my. Audino." Nurse Joy says in awe
"It Mega Evolved." Ash says
"Pika." Pikachu says in awe
"So that's Mega Evolution." Draxon says amazed
"Look at that." Bonnie says
"What a beautiful sight." Serena says
"Absolutely incredible." Clemont says
"Simply marvelous. I knew the bond between them was powerful!" Prof. Sycamore says
Mega Audino steps forward and stares down the Meowth Mecha with a determined, battle-ready expression.
"I've got a bad feeling about this..." Jessie says slightly nervous
"Maybe now would be the perfect time to resort to a hasty retreat." James says also nervous
"Maybe? There's no time like the present." Meowth says
"We've got to save Ash, Pikachu, Draxon, and Mew, Audino! Use Power-Up Punch!" Nurse Joy commands
Mega Audino leaps forward at the Mecha Meowth with it's right-paw glowing with a golden light. It strikes and cuts the net with a powerful punch, freeing Ash, Pikachu, Draxon, and Mew. The Keyblade Wielder and Trainer rush back over to their friends as the battle between Mega Audino and the Mecha Meowth continued.
"Audino, Double Slap!" Nurse Joy commands
Mega Audino leaps up to the head of the mecha and delivers strong slaps to the robot, knocking it left and right.
"Audino no no no!"
"Way too muscle for me!" Meowth says
"All right, use Take Down!" Nurse Joy commands
"Au-di-no!"
Mega Audino charges at the large mecha and smashes into it, knocking it back a few feet.
"Now Power-Up Punch!" Nurse Joy commands
"Audi-no!"
Mega Audino delivers another powerful punch to the Mecha Meowth, sending it flying a couple feet away and causing it to fall on it's back.
"That Mega Audino out-giga'd our Giga Machine!" James exclaims
"Audino? Use the strongest Healing Pulse you can!" Nurse Joy commands
"Audino-o-o-o-o-o!"
Mega Audino uses it's Heal Pulse, releasing a colorful wave from it's body, which flows over the Mecha Meowth, softening up Team Rocket and making them feel warm and fuzzy.
"There's nothing like feeling good to make you feel good." Jessie says
"It sure beats being pummeled." James says
"Yeah." Meowth sighs
"Wow, you know, perhaps fighting is for dumbbells!" James says
"Maybe we should give back the Pokémon we stole. Wouldn't that be lovely?!" Jessie says
"Sounds totally groovy! Like a love movie!" Meowth says
Meowth pushes a button in the machine and a hatch opens up in the center, releasing all the Pokéballs onto the ground. Now that the Pokéballs were safe, Ash and Pikachu step in to send Team Rocket on their way.
"All right. Use Thunderbolt!" Ash commands
"Pikachu!"
Pikachu blasts the Mecha Meowth with a powerful thunderbolt, causing it to explode and send Team Rocket flying through the air.
"Blasting off is fun when, done as one!" The Team Rocket trio say in unison
With that said, the trio disappear into the distance with their usual twinkle in the sky.
"Well, that sent them flying." Draxon says
"Mew." Mew says nodding it's head in agreement
"Let's get the Pokéballs back inside." Nurse Joy says
Just as the group moved to secure the Pokéballs, a group of High Soldier Heartless appear infront of them, blocking their
way.
"The Heartless!" Serena exclaims
"They're back!" Clemont exclaims
Draxon stared at the Heartless with a serious expression. He knew that more Heartless would come seeking them. And that in turn, made his mission a whole lot more easier. He clenched his right-hand into a fist and steps forward to face the dark creatures. Then, he calls out to Ash and Pikachu.
"Ash, Pikachu, you ready?" Draxon asks
Both Ash and Pikachu felt encouraged to face the Heartless with Draxon and there was no way they'd turn down an opportunity like this. They both went up to Draxon's left-side and stood with him.
"Yeah! We got this!" Ash says
"Pika!" Pikachu says determined
"Mew?" Draxon says
Mew floats up to Draxon's right-side, ready to fight alongside him.
"Mew!" Mew says also determined
Draxon nods and turns back to the Heartless. He stretches his right-hand out infront of him, summoning Soul Calibur in a flash of blue light. Together, both teens and their Pokémon stood ready for their fight against the Heartless.
Draxon rushes toward the Heartless and makes the first move. He cuts through a High Soldier on his left, then cuts down another one on his right. One High Soldier takes a swipe at him with it's claws. Draxon jumps back a few feet, the claws missing his stomach by inches. He counters the attack with a downward slash, slicing the Heartless vertically in half. Two more High Soldiers attack Draxon both at once, but he quickly dispatches them with a left spinning slash that leaves specks of blue light in it's wake.
Mew glows with a bright light and it transforms into a Charizard. The orange dragon lets out a mighty roar and attacks the Heartless. First, it charges through three High Soldiers using Dragon Rush, enveloped in a colorful aura shaped like a dragon. Next, Charizard stomps it's right-foot down on a High Soldier, crushing it to dust. A High Soldier leaps forward at Charizard with a kick using it's left-leg. The orange dragon leans over to the right, dodging the kick, and swats the Heartless away with it's powerful tail. Then, Charizard uses Flamethrower, breathing a stream of flames upon four High Soldiers, reducing them to ashes.
"Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" Ash commands
"Chu! Pika!"
Pikachu leaps up into the air and with it's shining silver tail, it performs a somersault, slamming it's hardened tail down on a High Soldier. Another High Soldier leaps at the small mouse with it's claws ready to strike.
"Dodge it quick!" Ash commands
"Cha!"
Pikachu jumps away from the Heartless as it swipes it's claws at it.
"Now, use Quick Attack!" Ash commands
"Pika!"
Pikachu rams into the High Soldiers with extremely fast speed, sending it flying until it smashes into the ground, disintegrating on impact and releasing it's heart.
"Pi pi pi pi pi pika! Chu! Chu! Pika!"
The yellow mouse targets four other High Soldiers and rams into them one by one, taking each of them out.
While the fighting was going on, Nurse Joy noticed that some of the Heartless were snatching up Pokéballs in their hands and were trying to make off with them.
"They're stealing the Pokéballs!" Nurse Joy exclaims
Draxon, Ash, Pikachu, and Charizard turn and saw three High Soldiers fleeing with bundles of Pokéballs in their clutches.
"Hey!" Ash exclaims
"Oh no you don't!" Draxon says
Draxon was about to move on the Heartless when Mega Audino leaps into action, striking the three High Soldiers and destroying them all at once with it's Power-Up Punch. Then, it stood infront of the Pokéballs, guarding them from the Heartless.
"Audino!" Mega Audino says
Draxon nods his head and he focuses on the rest of the Heartless.
A High Soldier comes at Draxon with a spinning kick, but he leaps out of the way and counters with a right spinning slash. Draxon targets five High Soldiers and goes through each of them with high-speed thrusting strikes. Nearby, Charizard grabs a High Soldier in it's jaws and tosses it aside. Two High Soldiers approach the orange dragon, but it blasts them away with Flamethrower.
Ash and Pikachu were both dealing with their own group of Heartless.
"Pikachu, use Electro Ball!" Ash commands
"Chu! Pika!"
Pikachu conjures up a yellow electric orb on it's tail and performs a somersault, hurling it down at a High Shadow, blasting it into oblivion. Then, Ash and Pikachu turn to the remaining four High Soldiers, ready to finish them off.
"Now, use Thunderbolt!" Ash commands
"Pikachu!"
Pikachu hits the Heartless with a powerful thunderbolt, vaporizing them into oblivion.
Just when they thought it was over, something else appears. Pieces of metal armor hit the ground and quickly bounce back up, spinning into the air. First, there was the hourglass-shaped body. Then, came the arms and legs. Finally, there was the head. This was a Heartless, similar to the one Devon and his friends fought back in the Dragon Realms. It was a Powered Armor.
The Powered Armor strikes first, sending a flying punch at Draxon using it's right gauntlet. Draxon jumps away and avoids the attack. He then counterattacks by jumping up, and hitting the armored torso with multiple aerial slashes, swinging Soul Calibur with a left-downward slash, a right slash, a somersault slash that hits three times, a backflip slash, a right-upward slash, and a downward slash. The gauntlets quickly spun around the torso, trying to hit Draxon, who saw the incoming attack and blocked it with his crystal Keyblade. He defended himself from the attack, but was thrown back, sliding across the ground.
The Heartless walked forward with its feet pounding the ground, causing the earth to shake. Charizard uses Fire Blast, hitting the Powered Armor's torso with a powerful fireball, making it stagger backwards a bit. The Powered Armor threw a punch with it's right gauntlet at Draxon, Charizard, Ash, and Pikachu, but Draxon swatted it away with his Keyblade. The right gauntlet spun onto the ground, giving them the chance to attack.
Draxon slashes at the right gauntlet with multiple vertical, horizontal, and diagonal slashes. Charizard helps by using Flamethrower, unleashing a stream of fire onto the gauntlet. Soon enough, the gauntlet was destroyed, leaving the heroes to deal with it's twin. The left gauntlet swatted at Draxon and Charizard, but they ducked down underneath it, dodging the attack. The gauntlet then tries to slam into Draxon and his partner Pokémon into the ground, but they jumped away just in time to dodge the attack.
"Pikachu, help Draxon out with Iron Tail!" Ash commands
"Chu! Pika!"
Pikachu strikes the gauntlet with it's silver-hardened tail, knocking it away. The gauntlet flies back around toward Pikachu in retaliation, attempting to hit them with a flying punch.
"Dodge it!" Ash commands
"Pika!"
Pikachu leaps out of the way, dodging the flying gauntlet, but it loops back around for another attack.
"Use Iron Tail again!" Ash commands
"Chu! Pika!"
Again, Pikachu brings it's steel-coated tail down on the gauntlet, destroying it on the spot.
Now that the gauntlets were taken care of, the heroes move on to deal with the head, armored torso, and the legs. But before they could do anything, the Heartless jumps up into the air. Draxon and Charizard looks up and saw the Powered Armor falling straight toward them.
"Watch out!" Serena cries out
Draxon and Charizard jump out of the way just before the Heartless had the chance to crush them. Draxon aims Soul Calibur at the legs and launches fifteen blue light projectiles while Charizard used Flamethrower. Both their attacks strike the legs in a mixture of blue and red lights. The combined attacks effectively destroy the legs, causing them both to disintegrate.
With both legs of the Heartless destroyed, all that was left was the head and armored torso.
The Powered Armor now enraged from losing it's body parts began spinning around toward the Draxon, Charizard, and Pikachu, but they quickly jumped out of the way, avoiding the attack. Draxon slid his feet across the ground and used his hand to stop himself. He charged forward and attacked the Heartless. Without its hands or legs, it was completely defenseless. Draxon slashed away at the armored torso of the Powered Armor with his glowing Keyblade, hitting it with quick slashes, inflicting tons of damage to the Heartless.
Finally, Draxon thrusts his Keyblade at the Powered Armor, stabbing it in the chest. After dealing the final blow, Draxon jumped back as the Heartless began shaking, knowing it was going to fall. The head fell off and landed on the ground. The chest glowed with a bright light, revealing a heart that flew out of it. The Powered Armor fell backwards on the ground and vanished in a flash of light.
Draxon de-summons his Keybade and Charizard reverts back into Mew. Draxon and Ash looked toward their friends who looked back toward him. Then, they shared glances with each other and smiled, proud of their accomplishment in defeating the Heartless. Mew and Pikachu were also happy that they got to fight alongside their partners and Trainers.
(Later that evening)
After having been able to relax from all the excitement that happened, Ash and his friends felt that it was time for them to be moving on. Draxon and Mew also felt it was time to head on out as they had to find Xion. But before they leave, they meet with Nurse Joy and Audino, who had reverted back to it's original form. Emilio was also still with them. First, Nurse Joy thanks Prof. Sycamore for his help with the Audinite and for helping Audino with it's Mega Evolution.
"Professor, thanks so much." Nurse Joy says
Then, Nurse Joy and Audino turn to Draxon, Ash, and their friends.
"And thank to all of you, Audino and I are finally back to being good friends again." Nurse Joy says gratefully
"Au audino!" Audino says also grateful
"Thanks! And please don't fight anymore, okay?" Ash says
"We promise! From now on, I'll make sure to communicate before I go out." Nurse Joy says
"Audino no." Audino says pleased
"So, Professor? Going back to the lab?" Clemont asks
"I'm quite anxious to get there and as quickly as possible so I can do further research on Squishy." Prof. Sycamore says
"That's great!" Clemont says
"Thanks. Bonnie, please take good care of Squishy, okay?" Prof. Sycamore says
"I will!" Bonnie says
"We're gonna head out to the Snowbelle City Gym!" Ash says
"Pikachu!" Pikachu says excited
Prof. Sycamore glances over at Draxon and Mew, as does Ash and his friends.
"What about you, Draxon?" Prof. Sycamore asks
"We're gonna head out and see if we can find our friend, Xion. Maybe Roxas and Axel may have had some luck in finding her." Draxon says
"Mew." Mew says nodding it's head
"I hope you manage to find her." Ash says
"Pikachu." Pikachu says concerned
"But if Xion is here, we'll try and keep an eye out for her." Serena says
"Thanks. I'd appreciate that." Draxon says
Draxon stretches left-hand out to his side and opens up a dark corridor, amazing Ash and his friends.
"See ya around, guys." Draxon says waving his right-hand
With that said, Draxon heads into the dark corridor with Mew following him in. Once they were gone, Ash and his friends went on their way, saying farewell to Prof. Sycamore, Nurse Joy, Audino, and Emilio.
"Have a safe trip!" Prof. Sycamore says
"Right!" Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie say in unison
~ Day 296 ~
Confessions
Three weeks pass as Draxon, Roxas, Axel, and Mew continue their missions for the Organization. Using the time they had afterwards, they journeyed to the worlds they've visited in the past in hopes of finding Xion in one of them. Roxas traveled to Agrabah, Wonderland, Neverland, and Halloween Town while Draxon and Mew searched Berk, Kalos, and the Dragon Realms. But no matter where they looked, they could not find Xion anywhere.
(Twilight Town)
Draxon, Roxas, Axel, and Mew met up in Twilight Town at their usual spot at the top of the clock tower, exhausted from their search.
"It's no use. We're never gonna find her." Roxas says
"Are you sure you guys been to every place?" Axel asks
"We've been to all the worlds we know of so far." Roxas says
"She's not on Berk. She's not in Kalos. She's not in the Dragon Realms. Xion isn't at any of those places." Draxon says
"Right..." Axel sighs
"There's one place we haven't visited yet: Castle Oblivion." Draxon says
Axel's eyes widened as he heard Draxon say that.
"That's right. Xion was asking about it." Roxas says
"And the day before she disappeared, you said she was put on an important mission." Draxon says
"Yeah, but... That place has been cleaned out. There's nothing there..." Axel says dismissively
"Maybe, but there's a chance that Xion might be there." Draxon says
"Draxon's right. There's no harm in checking it out." Roxas says
Axel sighs.
"Okay. I got a confession to make." Axel says
"Huh?" Roxas says confused
"What are you talking about, Axel?" Draxon asks
"Listen, guys... About Xion... Apparently, she comes from Castle Oblivion." Axel says
"What?!" Draxon and Roxas say in unison
"Mew?!" Mew exclaims
"Really?!" Draxon asks
"It's probably why she asked me about that place." Axel says
"I had no idea..." Draxon says
"Me neither... I only found out a little while ago." Axel says
"She must have a lot of questions wanting to go there." Roxas says
"Then, I think it's high-time we go there and search for Xion. We'll start first thing tomorrow morning." Draxon says
Roxas, Axel, and Mew nod in agreement. Draxon gazes out at the sunset, watching it's orange colors shimmer over the horizon. He will find Xion and he will protect her no matter what comes their way.
"Hold on, Xion. Wherever you are, we'll find you and we'll bring you home safe. I promise." Draxon says in his thoughts
Author's Note: The search for Xion begins! Draxon, Roxas, Axel, and Mew travel to all the worlds they visited in search for their friend, but they Xion is nowhere to be found. But there's only one place they have yet to check. And that place is Castle Oblivion. What will happen once they get there? Will our heroes find Xion there?
