Destiny Of Merida Bogo Chapter 30
Turns out Nick is right where Merida expected him to be once they found him. Lying underneath a stone bridge sitting back in a lounge chair and relaxing in the sunshine. Merida pulls out and lets Judy out, but doesn't follow as she runs down to him.
Merida watches from the patrol car with an unreadable expression on his face knowing this is going to be tough for Judy to do by herself. Judy and Nick hadn't separated on the best of terms from the press conference because of her big slipup. Merida wouldn't be surprised if Nick doesn't forgive her partner because of the chaos and personal hurt to his pride this created.
Things didn't look good from her vantage point either despite being too far away to hear them talking together. Judging by the downhill direction it's taking it's not going well for Judy. In fact Nick actually gets up, turns his back, and begins to walk away into the tunnel appearing completely like he's about to leave for good.
Here is where Judy snaps and totally has a breakdown. She shouts at Nick and busts into tears uncontrollably shouting at him. Merida doesn't get all of it, but she can tell that Judy is finally apologizing and tacking responsibility for her serious error in judgment. She's paid for it big time as have a whole lot of other animals and now she's desperate to fix everything and make things right. That's all she's conveying to Nick in full remorse. Hopefully Nick understands how sincere she is about it or else this is all for naught and a waste of time. It gets to the point where Merida is almost tempted to step down there and intervene in order to take over.
Then something magical happens.
Suddenly Judy brightens with her tears slowing down replaced with a watery smile joined with light laughter.
Nick soon steps back to their side of the tunnel with the carrot pen recorder held in his hand. His mood has been changed. Whatever anger and hard coldness he'd been exhibiting before was nonexistent in turn replaced with sympathy and forgiveness. The two then hug with their friendship restored.
Aware how important this is for both of them Merida allows this to continue for a minute or two more, but they're running on borrowed time. There's only so much left until the next predator in the city becomes infected from whoever is spreading the Night Howlers everywhere. Out of time Merida honks on the car horn to remind Judy that they have to go now.
All three of them loaded into the patrol car and were off with Merida at the wheel.
Nick is most delighted with the blueberries Judy had with her when she left her families farm for a snack. Even more so when she told him she brought them from the farm.
"I thought you guys only grew carrots," said Nick, tossing some into his gapping mouth. "What's the plan?"
"We are going to follow the Night Howlers," said Merida, scanning her eyes over the streets as she drives keeping an eye out for their target.
Placing some blueberries in a handkerchief and putting them in his pocket to save for later, Nick said "Okay. How?"
"Know this guy," said Judy, finding the weasels picture on her phone.
Nodding, Nick said "Aha. I told you. I know everybody."
Nick then gives Merida directions on where the weasel usually sets up shop for his own cons.
The weasel is in the middle of trying to sell pirated movies on the streets. Thankfully no one is actually falling for it from what Merida can see. She's tempted to arrest him right then and there, but they need whatever information this criminal can provide.
"Well, well, well look who it is. The duke of bootleg," said Nick, unimpressed.
"What's it to you, Wilde? Shouldn't you be melting down a popsicle or something. Hey, if it isn't Flopsy the Copsy and Miss Daddy's Girl," said Duke Weaselton.
"We both know those weren't moldy onions we caught you stealing. What were you gonna do with those Night Howlers, Wezzleton?"
"It's Weaselton! Duke Weaselton! And I ain't talking, Rabbit. And there ain't nothing you can do to make me," sneered Duke Weaselton.
Leaning forward intimidatingly, sharing a conspirator glance with her cohorts, Merida said "I wouldn't be so sure about that."
Time to call in a favor from Mr. Big.

If you're a fan of the Golden Compass and Watchmen which are the new series on HBO then you will love these. Then if you haven't saw them yet then I recommend that you check it out. Since there are still just recently uploaded I really would enjoy hearing other peoples thoughts on the subject matter so far. So feel free to do so if you have the time.
I have other grand news! I was a patron at New York Comic Con! Ah! I'd been dying to go for years and now I had the opportunity. The Jokers from Impractical Jokers have been here along with Tom Hiddleston and so many others. Over those few days I actually got my picture taken with a couple of other actors/actresses and some really great panels. It really is so exciting there. This is an opportunity of a lifetime so there's no way in hell that I was going to waste a single second of it. No one ever should with something like this. Ever! ;D
For future preferences I highly recommend that you all keep an eye out for when tickets for New York Comic Con are available for purchase again for next year. This is a huge event and you should jump on it whenever you have the chance.
