"Hide here…!" I yelled and dove off the trail.

I pressed my back against a tree as a hoard of Tauros rushed past. When the wave passed, I sighed deeply and laid my head against the tree.

"Jeez… Last time I'm gonna try to catch a Tauros. I had no idea they had some sort of backup call..." I said.

Looking in my bag, Mystic and Flanite looked up to me.

"I managed to hide from them. It's safe to come out." I told them as they crawled out.

Mystic then suddenly slapped me and spoke in her language. I assume she was lecturing me and I took it.

"Okay, okay, you don't have to give me an ear full. I will not attempt that again." I told her.

Mystic crossed her arms and scoffed, looking off to the side. She then walked to the trail again as I followed. I pulled out a Pokeball and released Stealth along with Sylvie and Espeonage. The two other then Stealth looked at me and tilted their heads.

"Err, just wanted to know if you three would like to walk with me." I said.

They nodded and walked alongside me. I didn't want to tell them what really happened so I just stood quiet and walked down the road. We walked for a bit as I sighed softly.

"This pathway seems to go on forever." I said.

I looked ahead and saw no end to this pathway.

"Not really sure where we are anymore..." I added.

Sighing deeply, I just walked down the path with the two close next to my legs. We walked for what felt like hours and I groaned in annoyance.

"Well, this sucks. Running low on food along with water and we're stranded in an endless path to… I don't even know." I said.

I stopped suddenly.

"Oh wait, I have Espeonage…! Maybe he can use his psychic ability to lift one of you up to see over these massive trees." I said and pulled out his Pokeball.

Releasing Espeonage, he stared back and tilted his head. I then went on to explain what I needed him to do. Espeonage nodded and I crouched down to Mystic.

"Think you can do it?" I asked.

Mystic nodded happily as I smiled, rubbing her head and soon getting back up and turning to face Espeonage, telling him to lift Mystic beyond the trees. He nodded as his gem glowed, watching Mystic get wrapped in a blue bubble of some sort as she started to float up. Once she reached over the trees, she began to look around for a bit.

I watched as she just floated there, continuing to look around some more. After looking for half a minute, she stopped and let out some kind of squeak of some sort. I told Espeonage to lower her and he did, safely returning her to the ground.

"Did you find something?" I asked.

She quickly nodded and pointed in a direction. I looked through the thick forest and nodded, picking her up.

"Okay, guess we're heading this way. Thanks Espeonage." I said.

Espeonage nodded and wagged his tail as we traveled to where she pointed. Espeonage walked behind me while Flanite followed closed by my legs.

We traveled through the forest for a good while as I looked at Mystic in confusion.

"Err… You sure you saw something right?" I asked.

She nodded and continuing pointing in the direction we were currently walking in.

"Um… Do you know how far it is? We've traveled in a single direction for a good half hour and nothing." I said.

Mystic stopped for a moment before shrugging, unsure how far the distance was. I sighed softly and rubbed her head.

"Guess we'll keep walking then. Hopefully we're close… Supplies isn't looking so good..." I said.

Mystic nodded and hugged my neck as we just continued walking further into the seemingly endless forest.

Ten minutes, then twenty, then a full hour passed and we were still walking. The heat was tough to deal with as I groaned and nearly fell.

"Okay… Lets just take a break for a moment… This heat is baking me alive..." I said.

My team nodded and found a shady spot to lay, also having been affected by the heat. I followed and sat, sighing deeply and closing my eyes.

"Alright, 100% sucks right now. Espeonage? Your good to send Mystic back up? We've been walking for an hour since she saw something… Hope we didn't get turned around and went even further somehow." I said.

Espeonage panted and slowly nodding before getting up, starting to send Mystic up again slowly. Once she was beyond the trees again, she looked around slowly and let out another noise as Espeonage lowered her. I looked at her and she looked somewhat excited.

"I assume we're close?" I asked.

She nodded quickly and pointed then did some paw motions.

"Um…?" I looked at her confused.

Mystic then did a measure using her paws but it was very unclear. From what I saw, it was actually pretty close by due to her paws nearly touching each other.

"So, um… It's close by? Like pretty close?" I asked.

Mystic confirmed and wagged her tail. I wasn't sure what it is she was spotting, but I just nodded and picked her up, rubbing her head and back.

"Okay… At least we're just about there. Thank Arceus..." I panted softly from the blazing weather.

"Jeez… I don't understand this place… It'll be pouring down rain and then switch instantly to a massive heatwave. Ugh..." I groaned and just rested.

"Lets just… Wait it out and see if a cloud blocks the sun for a bit." I said.

The others agreed and rested near me. We then just relaxed there for a bit as the heat continued scorching the land.

When the sun finally was blocked, I slowly got up and looked up.

"Okay… We can probably travel for a little. Lets get going." I said, starting to walk.

My team followed as I traveled for about ten minutes and was finally stopped by a massive building. I panted and wiped sweat from my face.

"We're saved…" I spoke and slowly walked into the city.

The city was large and full of life as I instantly started to look for a cold place to rest. That cold place ended up being a coffee shop as I sat there with Mystic and the other two. Feeling the nice cold AC on my skin felt so amazing as I remained sitting. I got myself some water and pulled out my HaloX, beginning to look around for a bit on the map to see where we were. We were in Union City as I looked surprised.

"Jeez, how did we end up here? This is the home of the Flying Gym. Oh well… I'm just glad to be out of that oven of an outside..." I said and looked at Mystic.

"Glad you found this place. Wasn't sure we were gonna get out of that." I said.

Mystic smiled softly and nodded, drinking a fruit drink. I smiled softly and rubbed her head before returning to looking through the map. I placed the HaloX down as a hologram map appeared. Mystic, Espeonage and Flanite looked at it as I smiled softly.

"Okay, not really sure where we should go next. This city is like the only thing around for miles..." I spoke.

Looking around for a bit, I noticed the best path that lead to a town about twenty miles away.

"Hmm… A bit of a walk but I think we can make it in about a day." I said.

Mystic nodded and walked to the map, looking at it as well.

"There is a gym here… It specialize with flying Pokemon, hmm. I'm sure your aura abilities can knock them out of the sky." I said.

Mystic nodded and smiled softly as she jumped softly.

"Not sure what they'll have though… Maybe some very powerful flying types that will destroy us… So how about it? Should we challenge it or wait until we get more powerful?" I asked.

They agreed upon getting more powerful. Nodding at them, I picked Mystic up and hugged her softly.

"Guess we're gonna get more powerful then. Won't hurt so… Anyways, maybe we can even find a new Pokemon that will help us." I said.

Mystic nodded happily and hugged back tightly. I took the HaloX and looked around the small cafe.

"Sorta hate being all alone, but I got my team so that helps." I spoke softly.

Slowly getting up, I placed Mystic in the bag as Flanite joined her. I called Espeonage back after he finished his food and placed his Pokeball into my bag.

"Okay…! I think we're going to train around the place." I said.

Mystic and Flanite nodded happily as we exited the shop and walked out of the city. We found a good training spot and the two jumped out of the bag. They stayed close to me as we walked around.

"You good, Flanite? Still hurting?" I asked, looking at his bandages he had for a while.

"Feeeeen…!" Flanite let out a small squeal.

"That's good. Though you can take a break anytime you want if you start getting hurt somehow. I'm sure the wounds are healed now, but I want to make sure." I said.

Flanite nodded slowly and jumped. I let out a giggle and continued walking down the fields.

"Glad I found you. Scared of what would've happened if that storm was much louder and I didn't hear you..." I said.

Flanite slowly nodded again and snuggled against my leg while walking. His limp was just about gone and that made me feel much better. His leg was pretty much ripped opened and I shivered at what could've gotten him. I never discovered what did get him but I think it was some giant bird.

I'm pretty sure he'll have PTSD or something if we walk into the flying gym, so when the time comes, I might keep him back as far as possible to prevent a breakdown if it was a flying type who got him. The gash did look like a bird's claw.

"Hmm… I just hope Flanite doesn't get hurt again… Thank Arceus I took medical class." I spoke to myself.

My thoughts were disturbed by Mystic who ran in front of me. Slowly looking at her, I noticed a large Aggron. He looked aggressive and stared with fury at us.

"Oh crap… I… Wanted to just fight smaller Pokemon. Not a tank." I said nervously and pulled out two Pokeballs.

I threw the balls as they released Aqua and Stealth as they stared down the massive Pokemon in front of them. Stealth sighed and rolled his eyes before firing a hydro pump at the Aggron. Aqua looked at Stealth and followed his action, combining both their hydro pumps as it pushed the Aggron back.

However, the Aggron pushed through it and quickly grabbed Stealth. He squirmed as the Aggron gripped his neck. I wasn't sure what to do as I suddenly saw Mystic run towards them. She jumped towards them and used iron tail. She proceeded to slam it against the Aggron's arm that held Stealth tightly.

Luckily the impact was too much for the Aggron to hold on as he dropped Stealth. Stealth growled deeply and lunged at the Aggron and painfully bit and used other moves that clearly damaged Aggron as he soon fell as Stealth jumped off him and walked back to me. He appeared pretty pissed as I smiled nervous and put my hands in front of me.

"Jeez… You are a damn scary Pokemon." I spoke.

Stealth growled still before calming and looked back before firing a massive beam of water at the Aggron which launched him against a wall, instantly knocking him out.

"H- heh… Yep… Clearly not going to piss him off." I thought to myself.

Stealth looked at me and scoffed before going back into his Pokeball. I slowly picked it up and kept my nervous smile, slowly looking at the others. They didn't seem bothered by it as I slowly put Stealth's ball away.

"Okay, um… How about we continue our journey?" I asked.

They nodded and I slowly picked Mystic up, beginning to walk deeper into the forest...
