Last one of Crisis on Earth-X! Elseworlds is up next!
They all broke away for a moment, surveying their surroundings.
"So this crap-hole's Earth-X," Sara said,
"Wells was right," Oliver said,
"He usually is," Barry remarked, "It's hard to believe this place actually exists, on any Earth."
"Where there is light, there will be darkness." Esinon recited an old Jedi proverb. "Unfortunately in all my travels across the multiverse, one thing always remains, lifeform's ability to hate one another."
"Keep moving!" a guard shouted, escorting more prisoners,
"Move!" a PA crackled over the yard,
"All prisoners stay away from the gate," all the heroes were pushed back,
"Stars and triangles," Jax mumbled, looking at the prisoner's uniforms.
"They're used to identify people for purported crimes they've 'committed' to land in here." Professor Stein explained to his latter half. Esinon pulled at her collar, struggling to get it off. The force was still with her, but it extremely dampened. Jax turned to see a prisoner standing next to him, a pink triangle donned his chest.
"Pink triangle, what did you do?" the prisoner glanced down at his chest,
"I loved the wrong person." Alex and Sara glanced at each other, realizing what he meant.
"We gotta get out of these things." Sara said, getting a tad bit frantic, she held up her cuffed hands to Professor Stein, "Transmute us out."
"With pleasure," he said, he and Jax joined hands expecting to transform into Firestorm, nothing happened.
"I can't vibrate through them either," Barry said,
"Power dampening collars," Esinon said,
"Well, then why are we wearing them?" Alex asked, looking between herself, Sara, and Oliver,
"Doesn't matter, there are too many guards here anyways," Oliver said, scanning his surroundings.
"They're gonna kill my sister," Alex said, starting to panic at the thought of being trapped.
"Look, we're not gonna let that happen," Oliver said firmly,
"Alex, I promise you. We're gonna get back to our Earth before then." Sara said,
"How? We don't even know how we got here." Jax said,
"No, we don't. We're gonna figure it out." Oliver said calmly, "Then we're gonna find a way to get out of this place and back to the people we love. Commander," Esinon ears perked up, "Have you ever run any missions like this back home?"
"Yes, somewhat. I got captured by pirates on a mission to capture Count Dooku. My Master and I, and the Count had to fight our way through the pirates. The thing that's different is that we had the Republic backing us."
"I hope everyone else is ok," Barry said,
Back on Earth 1, the pipeline…
Obi-Wan sat in the holding cell, feeling nothing but annoyance. He heard Cisco groan from his right,
"Rip Van Ramone awakes," Harry grumbled, throwing his ball against the wall. Bang, biff, smack, bang, biff, smack, over and over again.
"This doesn't look like a wedding," Cisco said, looking around at the sight of the pipeline,
"Are you alright Mr. Ramone? You've missed quite a lot." Obi-Wan said,
"My head hurts… what happened?" there was a muffled scream that emerged from the cell below him.
"All that you need to know is that you are locked in one of your fabulous anti-meta human cells with the rest of us." Harry shouted frustratedly, "We can't escape them," Obi-Wan began to meditate, trying to come up with a solution.
"That's what I designed them for, genius." Cisco snapped,
"Good command of the obvious." Harry shot back,
"Boys," Caitlin scolded, Cisco finally noticed the bang, biff, smack of Harry's ball,
"Is that a ball?"
"Why, is it bothering you?" Harry threw the ball more aggressively,
"Yes," Cisco replied, they both started squabbling, Cisco kicking the side of his cell trying to get Harry to stop. Obi-Wan scrunched his eyes, struggling to keep his concentration.
"Are they going to do that the whole time we're in here?" Diane asked,
"Most likely," Caitlin said,
Earth-X…
A loud whistle echoed over the field, all the prisoners started to move in a hurry, guards shoving them back.
"I don't like the look of this," alarms blared,
"What's going on?" Alex asked as she whipped her head around,
"I don't know," Barry said, as another prisoner pushed past him,
"Hey! What are we doing?" Esinon asked the prisoner from before,
"It's roundup time," he replied,
"Roundup for what?" Sara asked,
"Move!" the guards yelled,
"In line now!" Another guard shouted, as they swarmed the arena, all the prisoners ducked their heads away, as the gates opened, another man walked in. He was dressed in more formal clothing,
"So these are… the heroes." he remarked looking them over, "Stunning." Esinon could sense Sara's unease upon seeing this man. He could hear her thoughts,
"Dad?" he caught her eye,
"Blonde hair, blue eyes, this is Nordic perfection. Why would align yourself with the impure?" he asked walking closer to Sara,
"Because I like men, and I like women," she said confidently, he sighed,
"You know, I had a daughter that looked just like you, with similar compulsions." he stroked her face affectionately, "And I expunged that filth," he ripped his hand away violently, making Sara jump slightly, "From my family line forever." he began to walk away, "Bring them all," he ordered the guards. "And him!" he pointed to the prisoner from before.
"Move now!" the guards yelled, the guns cocking, the guards shoved the heroes forwards out of the courtyard. They walked through a burnt-out field, ash covering her boots.
"Not to be an alarmist, but if we don't have an escape plan, I suggest we get one immediately." Professor Stein said, Oliver looked at Esinon,
"Get ready to help the others escape." She nodded, opening her hands to undo the cuffs. Oliver gave the signal, all the heroes turned to retaliate. The man held up a button, a shock of electricity through all of the heroes. They all collapsed to their knees, with pained cries, Esinon looked up panting.
"Up!" the man shouted, She looked over to the other prisoner, as he struggled trying to get up. She crawled over, using her own strength to lift them both, another shock flew through her body. She collapsed back to her knees, restraining her cries of suffering, "He can get up himself," she glared at him getting back up, "Go!" they turned around and kept walking, stopping in front of a ditch. This is where they were set to die, they all realized staring down. "Turn around." the man walked up to Oliver staring him dead in the eye, "I know you're not him, but I can't stomach the sight regardless." he pulled a black bag over Oliver's head. "Ready!" the guards raised their guns.
"I'm sorry Master," Esinon whispered, "Be with me." she prayed to the Jedi that had come before.
"Aim! Fire!" a white and blue blast came off from the side, knocking out all the guns in the guards' hands. They all looked over for the source of the blast, a familiar face stared back at them.
"I hate fire," Leonard Snart said,
"Snart?" they all asked, Oliver, ripped the bag off his head,
"It's about time!" the prisoner shouted excitedly,
"Kill them all!" everyone ran taking on the soldiers, gunfire raining down upon them, Esinon threw her hands down from above her head, breaking her cuffs.
"Take cover!" she shouted, using the force to break the collar around her neck. She used the force, all her anger from everyone who had ever hurt her, drifting dangerously close to the dark side, a storm thundered above, as all the heroes dove into the trench. Esinon screamed, the very ground shaking beneath their feet, lightning poured down around her, leaving a ring of fire around the guards. She dove into the trench among the other heroes,
"I did not know that you could do that," Barry said, still staring at the storm thundering above.
"Hey, you're cutting it close." the prisoner said to Snart,
"I thought it was great timing, I really enjoyed the pun." the prisoner pulled at his collar,
"So you're Leonard Snart's doppelganger," Barry said, getting distracted for a moment,
"No, I'm Leonard Snart, you can call me Leo." Leo looked at Barry's suit, "That is a fantastic outfit, did you make that?" the prisoner kept struggling with his collar,
"Leo, focus," he turned his attention back to the prisoner,
"Right, let's make you shine buddy." Leo struggled, trying to break the collar.
"Move," Esinon pushed past, using the force to smash the collar to bits.
"That's extremely impressive," Leo marveled,
"You might want to close your eyes," the prisoner said,
"Why?" Jax asked, frightened, the prisoner to glow flying high into the air.
"Well, I believe he just answered your question." Professor Stein remarked. Esinon peeked over the trench more guards swarming the area, the glowing man shot a blast of light throwing the guards backward. He descended back to the ground,
"Come on, let's go," he said, Barry looked to Oliver, then back to the man,
"Go where exactly?"
"To our base," he replied,
"Your base?" Sara asked,
"And who exactly are you?" Oliver asked,
"I was gonna ask you all the same question," he responded, more gunfire sounded in the distance,
"How about we go somewhere safer to discuss this," Esinon said, beginning to climb out of the trench,
"I suggest you listen to the small wizard," Leo quipped, "You can tell us on the way."
"I'm not a wizard," Esinon grumbled helping the others out of the trench as they followed after the two Earth-Xer's.
A few minutes later…
The elevator door opened, to what looked like the arrow cave. Or at least it's Earth-X counterpart, people moved around, it was just like the Vigilance back home.
"I guess we're in Earth-X's Star City," Oliver said, admiring the familiar setting.
"I have to say that's one he** of a story," Ray said, newly introduced heroes. "You're a speedster," he pointed to Barry,
"Yeah,"
"And you two make the burning man?" he asked motioning to Jax and Professor Stein,
"Yup," they replied in unison,
"And you're the good doppelganger of the Fuehrer?" he asked Oliver,
"Good might be an oversimplification," Sara said,
"And you are what, quintessence force?" Ray asked Esinon, she tore her attention from her surroundings.
"No," she paused trying to think of a good way to explain her powers,
"Speedster?" Leo asked, noticing her use of speed while they making their escape.
"No, not exactly-" Barry interrupted,
"She's magic, easiest explanation. "
"I'm not magic, it's complicated," Esinon muttered,
"Well, you still haven't told us what Earth you're from. Clearly it's not this one." Leo said, looking Sara up and down,
"We're from Earth-1," Barry said,
"I never thought I would hear of Earth-1 again. I guess it wasn't going to be forever before my past came back" she heard coming loud and clear from Ray,
"Earth-1, well isn't that golly," Leo said looking at Ray,
"Am I missing something here?" Jax asked the two Earth-Xer's who were sharing a knowing look.
"You're from Earth-1 aren't you?" Esinon said,
"Yeah, how'd you know?" Ray asked confused,
"Telepath as well,"
"If you're from our Earth, then you know how we got here, don't you?" Barry said, getting a tad bit hopeful.
"Yeah, I have a pretty good idea." Ray said, he picked up a tablet, "I think you guys came through this." he held up a picture of a temporal gateway,
"A temporal gateway?" Barry asked,
"Same physics as a breach, just more stable, and much larger," Professor Stein said,
"Awesome, we have a way to get back. So let's devise a plan to get to it." Esinon said, her commander's side coming out.
"Esinon's right, where is it?" Oliver asked,
"It's not far from here," Leo said, she could sense a disturbance in the force like something wasn't going to let them get to the gateway.
"22.3 kilometers, to be exact." Ray said, "Well we've driven there,"
"So take us to it," Barry said, anxious to get back to Iris.
"Can't do it," Ray said,
"Why?" Alex asked,
"Because the gateway's in a facility guarded with a not so army small army of Nazis."
"I've faced worse, so have they. I've taken Separatist bases with less than five people. Let's devise a plan, now." Esinon said,
"It's our only way home," Barry said, "We're going through it."
"Nobody's going through anything, because we're blowing it the he** up." a new man came into sight, he had a beard and looked like he had been through as many battles as she had.
"Winn?" Alex asked, obviously a doppelganger from her earth.
"Please, Freedom Fighter General Schott," Leo said, standing next to his General,
"General Schott?" Alex asked in surprise,
"Yeah, and who are you?" he asked in a gruff voice.
"New friends from Earth-1," Ray interjected, "They're on our side."
"Except for the part where you guys want to blow up our only way home," Jax said frustratedly, Esinon's mind flashed to her Master, he just lost her, they couldn't lose each other again.
"We don't exactly want to," Leo said,
"Everyone we care about is on the other side of that gateway, imprisoned by the Nazis," Barry said,
"The Nazis that want to cut open my sister." Alex said, "We have to get back."
"Eliminate that facility, and you eliminate our only chance of getting home. Please, I know as a Commander that there is a way that you can get us to that facility. We need to get back and save our friends" Esinon stated firmly, standing her ground in front of the General.
"I'm sorry, but we've been waiting for an opportunity like this for years. We cannot wait any longer. This is our only chance to separate the Fuehrer from his army. We are trying to turn this war around." General Schott said,
"I'm sorry, but you're going to leave our Earth at the mercy of three psychopaths who have ravaged yours?" Oliver asked frustratedly,
"Wait, why does this man look exactly like the Fuehrer I"m trying to kill?" General Schott said, staring at Oliver.
"Look, General, all we're asking for is a little bit of time. I have a war of my own I need to return to." Esinon said thinking about the clone wars, and the 212th. "Let us get into the facility and through the gateway."
"The gateway is guarded by 30 Panzer XIIs, 50 Strumtigers, and 100 Schutzstaffel officers. Not the best odds,"
"I don't care, we're taking that base. We're going home." Esinon said defiantly,
"No, you aren't. We're blowing that place, now!" he shouted, "Final Order."
"Sorry, he's a little rough around the edges." Leo said, "But he is the General and he's issued his commands." Alex began to walk off,
"Hey, hey, hey," Ray said, stepping in front of her, "You won't change his mind, no one does."
"Look, on my Earth, he and I are family. And he would do anything to help my sister." Alex said,
"Ray, let her try," Leo called from behind, Esinon began to walk off as well.
"Where are you going?" Ray asked,
"Well, I'm in a war of my own. And my legion is now devoid of its Commander and it's General. I'm not abandoning my men, my Master, or the Republic. I'm finding a way off this hell-hole." Esinon said, walking away.
"Esinon! Wait!" Barry called running after her,
"What's she talking about?" Ray asked, looking at Oliver as the other heroes started to scatter throughout the base.
"Esinon's not from Earth-1. She's from Dimension-3."
"Hold on, there are multiple dimensions?" Leo asked,
"Yes, in her dimension, there is an intergalactic war happening called the clone wars. She's a Commander,"
"She looks a little young to be a Commander," Ray said,
"I got this," Leo said walking off,
"Got what?" Ray called after him,
A few minutes later…
Barry had finally left her alone, she traced her finger along a map studying the points. She glanced up at the hologram of her master, looking at it kept her going, against all of her exhaustion. She sensed someone coming up behind her, she whipped around putting a crackling hand of lightning to their neck. She relinquished seeing it was Snart.
"Sorry, is there something you want?" she asked, he was about to explain before the hologram of the man sitting next to her. He looked at Esinon for a moment and then back down to the hologram, noticing the striking resemblance.
"Who's that? Is that your father?" he asked, she glanced back at the hologram.
"No, my teacher."
"Fatherly figure for you?" he asked picking up the hologram,
"Closest thing I've had for one, my parents were aliens. At least before the Jedi found me."
"Is he the reason you want to go back?"
"I just spent almost two years away from him, if I don't get out of here... those Nazis are gonna kill him, and I'll never get to be with him again." she paused, "Is there something you need?"
"I came to thank you, I saw you take an extra shock to help Ray."
"Lightning's kinda in my blood," Esinon said,
"Are you upset with General Schott?" Leo asked,
"Yes, somewhat. He wants to save his people, just like I do. Never sacrifice the lives of thousands for the life of one." Esinon said,
"Do you still have hope?" Leo asked,
"I always do, this war will end one day. Not only in my dimension, here too. I'm still determined to get out of here, and I'm getting to that facility." Esinon said fiercely, Leo could see the fire of determination in her eyes.
"I gotta talk to Ray," Leo said running off, Esinon stood in shock for a second before shaking her head and getting back to work.
A few minutes later…
"Ray, please, let's talk to him," Leo said, chasing after Ray.
"Look, you said to let Alex try. I let her try. She didn't succeed." Ray retorted heading to the bunker,
"So that's that? We just let these poor, fantastically dressed individuals lose their one way home?" Leo asked frustratedly,
"Look, it's what Winn ordered," Ray said peeling off his prison camp shirt. "And I'm not in the habit of disagreeing with Generals on any Earth," Ray said grabbing another shirt out of his drawer,
"And what about your family back on Earth-1," Leo asked, resting his head on his arms, on top of the bunk bed.
"What about them?" Ray asked annoyedly, not wanting to think about his life back on Earth-1.
"You'd be giving up any chance of ever seeing them again."
"Leo." Ray pulled his shirt over his head, "Why are you pushing this?"
"Pardon?"
"We have fought, bled, sacrificed for this war. And these strangers show up and you're willing to throw away everything for them? The fate of the world at stake." Ray said,
"So are the lives of their loved ones," Leo argued,
"Come on," Ray said exasperated, Leo walked towards him,
"Tease me all you want for being sentimental. Those heroes would risk everything for the people they love, just like I would..." Leo said looking him dead in the eyes, "for you."
"You know I can't say no when you look at me like that." Ray sighed, somewhat annoyed and happy,
"That's exactly why I look at you like that," Leo said, hugging Ray excitedly. "Besides the little wizard was going to do it on her own if we didn't help." Leo bounded off,
"Is that what we're calling her?" Ray asked chasing after Leo,
A few minutes later…
Esinon paced the center platform of the base nervously waiting for Leo and Ray to come back. She spotted them coming forward,
"We talked to the general, and after a lot of arguing, he agreed, so…" Esinon did a small happy dance,
"We're gonna help you out." Leo finished happily, they all gathered around a map,
"So you referenced 100 guards. I assume most of them are around the perimeter?" Oliver asked pointing at the map.
"Correct," Leo said,
"We fight through them on the outside. We access the main corridor. What's security like in the hanger?"
"Esinon and I will do some recon," Barry and Esinon took off searching the facility quickly, they arrived back at the base. "So the entire facility has meta-human dampers."
"Okay, we can't take that hanger with no powers, man," Jax said,
"These satellites indicate a control room off the main hangar. That damper must be there." Professor Stein said,
"Ok, well we definitely can't take the main control with no powers." Jax said, "It's not like we blend in here." Esinon placed a green marker in front of the door of the facility,
"I think I know how to get in."
A few minutes later…
Esinon crept through the shadows of the facility, a few minutes later she got a call from Leo.
"Guys we have a problem."
"What do you mean?" she asked as she ducked away from a searchlight.
"A weapon is heading to blow up the facility," he said,
"A weapon?" Alex asked, "you mean a missile?"
"Not exactly. They call it the Red Tornado. It's a robot set to run itself into the facility, armed to the teeth with explosives." Leo explained,
"Well isn't that a lovely gift from the General," Esinon said looking down at the counter on her com, they were supposed to still have thirty minutes.
"Esinon, get into the main hanger," Barry said she zipped off joining Leo, Ray, Oliver, and Barry,
"In ten minutes, Red Tornado's gonna bring down this entire facility, and there's nothing we can do to stop that robot," Leo said,
"Then we need to open the gateway before that happens, Barry, Ray,"
"We know, stop a flying robot somehow," Barry said Ray gave him a look at the insanity of the plan.
"Good, the rest of us will open up the breach," Oliver said,
"That's the whole plan," Leo said,
"Well as the Snart we know used to say, make a plan, execute the plan, expect the plan to go off the rails… throw away the plan." Barry said imitating Snart,
"Wow… that is terrible advice. I always have a plan, down to the second, so nothing ever goes wrong." Snart said,
"Then you have never met Anakin Skywalker, as he always says, 'Kriff if I know Esinon,' then he jumps into an exploding ship, and then I jump after him."
"The only plan is not to leave this earth without me," Ray said, taking his hand,
"Ok," Leo quickly agreed,
"Right, ready for Red Tornado watch," Ray said,
"Let's do it," Barry and Ray disappeared,
"I thought it would be fun if we put on our costumes," Leo said, setting a large bag down on the floor. He pulled it open revealing a bow and quiver, Oliver examined them for a moment.
"Where'd you get them?"
"The general collects weapons," he picked up a long silver tube,
"I also found this inside the base." he pressed a button on the side, two hot yellow blades igniting, "Whoa, a wizard's staff!"
"My lightsaber!" Esinon shouted excitedly, she called it to her hand. "It must have come back to me."
"Let's go to war," Oliver said,
A few minutes later…
All the heroes stood in front of the door, Firestorm shot a fireball exploding the doorway, throwing the guards back. Esinon used the force to throw as many guards as possible,
"Fan out!" Oliver shouted, all the heroes scattered out into the facility. She crept through the darkness, she pressed her back against a crate sensing a guard coming, she grabbed the nose of his gun, throwing him over herself, she delivered a swift punch to his face. Another guard came, she threw her saber stabbing him in the chest. She jumped on top of a crate, drawing their attention from Firestorm.
"You want some of this! Come fight the Jedi!" she yelled, lightning crackling in her hands, she shot everyone who came remotely near to her with a bolt. The bullets seemed to hit a forcefield, "I am one with the force and the force is with me." the force was strong, she took on soldier after soldier, she noticed a machine gun firing in Oliver and Leo's direction. She jumped tackling the gunmen off the top, throwing him to the ground. She got into the seat of the machine gun turning it on Nazis. Esinon shook in the seat as the machine gun rattled, she stopped firing, feeling a great disturbance in the force. She was in agony, it was Jax, this second of distraction was all a Nazi needed. He fired a bullet, Esinon managed to dodge most of it, but it grazed her arm,
"Ahh!" she grabbed her arm,
"Esinon, are you alright?" Oliver asked, firing another arrow. She pushed away the pain with the force,
"It's Jax, and Stein, we have to get to them." She said, pulling out her lightsaber, deflecting a few bullets.
"Gray's hit! We gotta get him out of here!" Jax yelled into the com,
"Esinon, can you get to him?" Sara asked Esinon jumped off the machine gun, throwing her saber into another Nazi,
"I'm tied up here, you guys have to get to him," she replied, she ran meeting up with Leo and Oliver. She heard a loud crash, a beam of energy appeared, vaporizing all the Nazi's. Professor Stein did it, an angry red and black breach appeared.
"Let's get out of here," Esinon said,
"Barry, the breach is open, where are you?" Oliver asked, marching towards the breach.
"We gotta take him out now," Barry replied,
"We can't leave without him," Esinon said, worried about her partner,
"We're not going to," Oliver said,
"Hurry up Barry, Stein's hurt," Sara said, kneeling down next to the Professor.
"Alright, we're on the move." Alex did a quick examination,
"He's still alive, but his condition is critical," Alex said,
"Alright, Gideon will fix him," Sara said confidently, she went to pick him up.
"No, he's too injured to be moved," Sara said,
"Not if he's Firestorm." Sara said,
"Yeah, Gray, Gray, come on," Jax said, Stein weakly lifted a hand, they met hands in a blaze they became Firestorm. They all walked into the breach, Barry, and Ray zipping in after them. They all exited the breach, inside S.T.A.R labs
"So this is Earth-1, cute," Leo remarked,
"We need to find Kara," Alex said,
"Then we need to split up," Oliver said,
"I'll go help Nate," Esinon said, already sensing the presence of her friend.
"I got group B," Nate said,
"You're late." Mick growled, "Hey Tiny," Nate turned around,
"Esinon, good to see you."
"Don't mind Mick, he's just grouchy because he came out of steel box," Diane said, Esinon immediately ran over to Obi-Wan,
"Are you ok?" she asked, Obi-Wan hugged his padawan tightly,
"I'm fine, are you alright?"
"Few bumps and bruises, but I'm fine," she said, returning the hug. Obi-Wan pulled away, seeing the blood on his white dress shirt, he was about to ask when he was interrupted by another woman,
"He's always like that," Amaya said coming into the room, with a new face. Glass shattered, as a Metallo jumped through the speed lab's glass lining,
"What the he**?" the new girl asked, they all ducked for cover as the Metallo fired green beams from its chest,
"This guys like the terminator," Diane shouted, Cisco laughed, "Why are you laughing?"
"I just love a good pop culture reference is a moment of crisis." Cisco smiled, "Also, that!" he pointed to Ray, Barry, and Firestorm rushing into the room, distracting the Metallo. Esinon nodded to Caitlin, who frosted over.
"Let's kick some a**!" Cico yelled, firing a breach blast. Esinon held her ground, using her lightning to hold the metallo, while the others used their powers to destroy the metallo.
"Everyone get to the waverider, now!" Nate yelled Esinon put a hand on Obi-Wan's shoulder rushing him to the roof, every hero gathering on the waverider. Firestorm raced past to the medical bay, Alex and Caitlin chased after him.
"Gideon fix him!" Esinon heard Jax shout from the med bay.
"Esinon, what happened to your arm?" Obi-Wan asked, examining the wound on her arm.
"I lost focus, a bullet grazed my arm." she replied, brushing her Master off, "I'll have Caitlin look at it."
"Little Wizard!" someone called, Obi-Wan looked up to see a man in a winter coat walking up. "Come on, I'll fix your arm." Esinon followed the man away,
"I guess I'll go find a way to make myself useful," Obi-Wan muttered, he walked off, exploring the ship, he soon made it to the hull. It reminded him of the Vigilance. Hopeful Anakin and Cody were all right, he sat down in a silver chair staring out the window at the sky that lay before him. He heard some footsteps, Esinon sat down in a chair next to him, in a pair of black pants, and an extra-large blue shirt, that looked to be Jax's.
"Are you ok?" she asked,
"Well, Mr. Ramone and Dr. Wells are quite the pair," Obi-Wan said,
"You should have seen us, the science amigos. We could solve any problem together." Esinon said she sensed her Master's worry, and upset.
"Master, are you ok?"
"I'm just… I thought I would never see you again." Obi-Wan said,
"But I'm alright, nothing drastic happened," Esinon said,
"What about the first time, you disappeared because I wasn't there. I couldn't even protect you this time."
"But I'm ok, I was ok-"
"Esinon, you were dead." he interrupted, "After you didn't turn up, we could only assume the worst. You were dead because I wasn't there."
"Master, it's not your fault," Esinon said,
"It is, the reason I never ask about your time here is that I was afraid of what might have happened here."
"Master, I wasn't fully honest about my time here… some bad things did happen while I was here. I was in a coma for five weeks, I was severely injured by a speedster from Earth-2 named Zoom. I never wanted to tell you about it, because I could already sense your guilt surrounding the whole ordeal. You mean more to me than anything in the world, and I never wanted you to feel like it was your fault that I disappeared. Even though it was tragic that I disappeared for that long, I believe it was the will of the force that I come to be here. I've met amazing people who have helped me learn so much about life, about being human, about being a good person, about being a hero. The people on the ship are some of the most remarkable people I've met in all my travels. I wanted you to experience this adventure with me, I guess we can't escape the war to another universe." she said, a small smile on her face.
"I guess not, the most epic wedding I've ever attended."
"Master, this is the only wedding you've ever attended,"
"Don't be too certain." he joked, burying his padawan in a hug.
"Esinon! We need your help!" Amaya called, Esinon got out of her seat, she saw Curtis and the new girl walking with them.
"Sorry Master gotta go." she joined them,
"Hey Curtis," they walked into a room full of computers and tracking devices,
"I think I just died and went to geek heaven."
"I told you we picked the right guy," the new girl said,
"And who are you,"
"Zari," she replied,
"And what exactly are we helping you with?" Esinon asked,
"Nazi tracking," Zari replied,
"Meet our resident Earth-X expert, the Ray," Amaya said,
"Well, you can use my real name, Ray Terrill," Ray said, shaking Curtis's hand.
"Your secret identity is your first name with the word 'the' in front of it?"
"Yeah," Ray said, "Well, what's yours?"
"Mr. Terrific," Curtis replied proudly, Ray laughed to himself,
"Really? Don't you think that's a little boasty?"
"No, it's just one of my favorite wrestlers."
"And it's official, you both do not have cool secret identities," Esinon said, already getting to work,
"Well, what's yours?" Ray asked defensively, Curtis joining with him,
"Yeah,"
"Clairvoyance."
"Ok, that's pretty cool," Ray said,
"Still, change the name man," Curtis said, patting Ray's shoulder.
"They have completely disappeared, there's no sign of them anywhere," Amaya said,
"We were using the radiation signal given off by Overgirl because of her,"
"Extreme exposure to solar radiation, are these readings right?" Curtis asked looking at the graph.
"Yeah, of course, they're right," Zari said,
"Well, because the trace radiation readings on here are slowly approaching Chandrasekhar limit." Esinon ran over to the graph,
"Are you sure?" Esinonasked,
"For those of us who aren't genius'?" Zari asked,
"It means Overgirl isn't just dying…" Curtis said,
"If she doesn't get Supergirl's heart, she'll create a supernova that will destroy the entire Midwest." Esinon finished,
A few minutes later…
Both and Esinon and Curtis were hard at work tracking the Nazis when she felt Professor Stein drift off into the force.
"No, no, no, no," she got up, "he can't be gone," she walked out of the room, ignoring Curtis's shouts, she met her Master in the hallway.
"I sensed your distress, what's wrong?" he asked,
"It's Professor Stein, he didn't make it," she whispered, Obi-Wan hugged his padawan, as quiet tears dripped down her face. Professor Stein was there in her first few months on Earth-1, he always believed she could be a hero. She took a shaky breath,
"I have to go warn Oliver about Overgirl," Esinon said, stepping away. She walked down the hallway and into the library where Oliver was sitting,
"Oliver, we figured out that Overgirl's gonna go nuclear if she doesn't get Supergirl's heart. We still haven't figured out a way to track them."
"Ok, go gather everyone and get them into the hull." she nodded, "I need you to be focused for this."
"I will be,"
A few minutes later…
"Where are we with locating the waverider?" Oliver asked,
"We've got a pretty good idea, I mean, we've all heard of Chandesker limit, right? The data still indicates that it's somewhere in the vicinity of Central City." Curtis said,
"Which also means Overgirl isn't too long for this world," Esinon added,
"Which means that this world isn't long for this world," Curtis said,
"Failure is not an option, losing is not an option. We are gonna win. And we are gonna show those people that this Earth belongs to us." Oliver said fiercely,
"Great speech," Killer Frost added,
"Mr. Queen, sorry to interrupt." Gideon said, "but we are being hailed by a fellow timeship."
"Put it on," everyone gathered around the main computer, where a hologram of the Dark Archer appeared,
"What do you want?" Oliver growled,
"To offer a truce."
"In exchange for what?" Barry asked,
"We will return to our Earth peacefully if you meet my one demand. Supergirl comes with us," he said firmly, Oliver looked back at Kara,
"Here's another difference between you and me. I don't abandon my friends." Oliver shouted, smashing his finger into the computer ending the transmission.
"Alright, everybody ready to go?" Sara asked,
"We've never been more," Nate said,
"We can't bring Marty back, but we can protect the city he loved. And the family he left behind." Ray said,
"For the Professor," Sara said everyone gave a nod. This one was for Professor Stein. "Now let's go kick some a**."
A few minutes later…
Esinon flew above with Ray, Ray from Earth-X, Supergirl, and Killer Frost. They joined the legion of heroes below, facing down the Nazis. The Nazis charged, Esinon hurled herself into battle, using the force to shove all the Nazis back, she spotted Nazis throwing bombs into a field of civilians, she sped over putting up a forcefield, bombs exploding on the outside. Rene and Mick worked on getting all the civilians clear. She soon met her Master, they stood back to back taking out Nazi after Nazi. She looked up to the sky, seeing the Nazi Waverider exploding.
"Supergirl is about to go Supernova." Esinon yelled, "Everyone get to a safe distance." she heard civilians together, she and Obi-Wan putting up a shield around them. An explosion boomed in the sky, Overgirl was dead, and Supergirl was falling from the sky. A cloud of dust went up, it cleared and Nate was holding Supergirl.
"We did it, I absolutely hate this Earth." Obi-Wan panted,
The next day…
Esinon stood close to her Master, quiet tears slipped out from everyone around her. Professor Stein was now a part of the cosmic force.
Be with him Qui-Gon. She thought to herself,
"Clarissa asked me to say a few words. But, as you all know, it was Gray- Martin who was the wordy one." Jax began, a small laugh rippled through the crowd. "As I got used to hearing his voice in my head. And, uh, even now I can still hear him. 'Cause even though he's gone, he's still a part of me. He's still a part of all of us. He was the best man right until the end. The best teacher. Friend. Husband. Father." Clarissa hugged Lily close, Jax walked over, hugging them both. Obi-Wan put an arm around Esinon, hugging her close. Thinking about his time as Rako Hardeen, leaving his padawan behind, to believe him dead was one of the hardest things he ever had to do. Clarissa walked over, picking up the shovel,
"Goodbye my love," she laid the first shovel full of dirt. Sara picked up the shovel,
"Thank you for believing in me." Caitlin was next,
"Tell Ronnie I miss him," Barry picked it up next,
"Thank you for bringing me home to her," Esinon took a deep breath picking up the shovel,
"Thank you for always believing in me, even when I didn't believe in myself.
That night…
"Thank you all, this Earth owes you a lot," Barry said Leo, Ray, Esinon, and Obi-Wan stood in the breach room.
"Well, it's my world too, so…"
"Punching out Nazis is kinda our thing." Leo finished,
"Well, if you ever need us to do any Nazi punching on Earth-X, let us know," Barry said,
"Will do," Ray said, "Take care Barry,"
"Take care Ray," Barry said shaking his hand, he then offered his hand to Leo,
"Barry I need a hug," Leo said, pulling Barry in.
"O-ok," he said, hugging Snart back,
"You too little wizard," Snart said, pulling Esinon in for a hug.
"I'm gonna miss you, Leo, you too Ray," she said,
"If you ever need us over in Dimension 3, just call," Ray said, patting her shoulder.
"Same goes for Earth-X.," she said,
"I gotta go get ready, you got this?" Barry asked, patting Cisco's shoulder,
"Bye Esinon," Barry said, hugging his partner,
"Goodbye Barry," Barry offered his hand to Obi-Wan, he shook it.
"I see why my padawan likes it here. Thank you for taking care of her." Obi-Wan said,
"Oh, she takes care of me more than I do her." Barry joked,
"I believe it,"
"Yeah, I got it," Cisco said, getting up.
"You guys ready to go home?"
"Yeah, how does this work?" Ray asked,
"Well, it is a very complicated two-part process. So first, I open a breach, then you walk through it." Cisco said in a very serious manner, Esinon held in laughter,
"First the Jedi," Cisco said, firing open a breach,
"Bye Cisco!" she called, "Bye Leo, and Ray!" she called,
"Until next time Mr. Ramone," Obi-Wan said the two Jedi stepped through the breach,
