Chapter 31
Days have passed since Cackletta's defeat and death. The Beanish have continued their lifestyle in Bean-bean Town peacefully.
Inside Bean-bean Castle, in a room where Lady Lima works, the Goodwill Ambassador points at the north of the map of the entire Bean-bean Kingdom. Jojora is present to see.
Lady Lima informs the snow witch, "The Tanoombas have migrated to the north. Perhaps, they have left the kingdom for a more beautiful place. Unfortunately, I assume that they will live in the chaotic lands of the Toads, who escaped to our kingdom from the chaos."
"That would be bad," Jojora worriedly expresses.
But Lady Lima assured to Jojora, "Do not worry, Tanoombas are admirably great fighters. They will face against their weaker variants, the Goombas, who, we suspect, are the ones causing the chaos. So, I'm sure everything will be fine."
The snow witch simply shrugs as she proceeds to leave Lady Lima's room. The Goodwill Ambassador sat down on her chair to rest as she drinks a mug of Chuckola Cola.
Jojora flies towards the throne room. She sees no ruler sitting on the thrones of Queen Bean or Prince Peasley. The snow witch sighs and enters a few rooms before finding the royal bedroom. She gently knocks on the door with her cold hand.
"Come in," a female voice responded.
Jojora opens the door and enters the bedroom before closing the door. She sees Prince Peasley sitting down on his bed, drinking a mug of purple-colored beverage. The prince finishes it, places it on the table beside his bed and belches.
He chuckles and says, "Excuse me."
The snow witch giggles and flies towards the prince's side. The two of them blush at each other as Jojora leans in to make a quick kiss on the lips.
Queen Bean, sitting on her bed and reading a book, brings up her presence, "I saw that!"
Prince Peasley and Jojora nervously giggled in response.
"Are you getting better?" Jojora asked.
"Better than better," Prince Peasley answered, "thanks to the Teeheespresso and your little kisses."
Jojora blushes in response to the prince's last words of his sentence.
Queen Bean chuckled, expressing a slight disgust of their romantic love before asking Jojora, "Dear, my son insisted to prepare a marriage between you two as coronation for you to usurp as princess of Bean-bean Kingdom..."
"Queen mother," Prince Peasley annoyingly stopped his mother out of embarrassment.
The snow witch giggles and says to Queen Bean, "I'll remain as ally to your people, but I won't be their princess, because I already am to Prince Peasley here."
The queen laughed and accepted, "Choice is yours, Jojora of Joke's End. Besides, there aren't so many marriages in the kingdom's royal lineage. Come to think of it, there aren't any at all."
"Then, how did you give birth to Prince Peasley?" Jojora asked curiously.
Prince Peasley explains for his lover, "Well, there is no need of encounter between a male and female Beanish, because female Beanish…"
They are suddenly interrupted by the intrusion of Lady Lima, who has a device invented by Woohoo Hooniversity. The device appears to be a tablet with the function of displaying a holographic projection above its screen. Lady Lima opens a digital map. Queen Bean, Prince Peasley and Jojora gasp to see four glittering green shards each at different places in Bean-bean Kingdom.
The Goodwill Ambassador notifies the three, "My queen, my prince and Jojora, after Cackletta's defeat, the Beanstar appeared to have separated into four pieces scattered around the kingdom. Sightings have been confirmed, thieves have emerged and…"
But Prince Peasley groaned to interrupt and laid his head on the pillow. He tells Lady Lima, "I know it's up to me for being the only warrior to fly around the lands of our kingdoms, Lady Lima. Thank you. You're dismissed."
"B-But…" Lady Lima stuttered.
Queen Bean laughs and gently orders the Goodwill Ambassador, "We'll await the prince to take action. No one in this kingdom will awaken the Beanstar anyway."
Lady Lima agrees with a nod as Queen Bean watches her servant leave the bedroom. Prince Peasley and Jojora looked at each other and pressed their lips against each other. The queen quickly notices their affection to each other. She grumbles annoyingly and lies down in a position faced away from them to continue reading her book.
Whatever happened afterwards…
Prince Peasley would eventually return from his rest to get back into action and Jojora will be there for him and beside him. Perhaps, from Lady Lima's report, the pair will search for the fragments of the Beanstar scattered in four different locations of Bean-bean Kingdom.
The pair of Tanoombas have caught up with its flock. They have found their way to a land battling for triumph. It was not long that the Tanoomba found a settling place to live in.
Beanardo continued to train the next generation of Beanish troops to fight against future threats. Queen Bean remains faithful to her son's choice to leave, though she is too supportive in a way. And the Beanish lived happily ever after… for now.
Meanwhile, in the ruins of Woohoo Hooniversity, the gaseous purple spirit of Cackletta formed in the center. Her ghostly teeth grit in revenge. The spirit of the Beanish witch proceeds to fly away to fight for another day, but suddenly, a dome of light knocked the ghost back to the ground. The ghost of Cackletta felt hurt.
She starts to realize that the dome of light is a sphere of light imprisoning the soul of the Beanish witch. The sphere starts to shrink as Cackletta starts to thrash inside, colliding its gaseous spirit against the light in an attempt to break free.
The ghost of the Beanish witch lays her eyes on a figure standing before her. A mouth opened on top of the figure's head as it begins to inhale the light, along with the ghost of the Beanish witch. Screams come from dying Cackletta, while laughter reigns.
