Mama Yang Hero Academia-33
It was a bright and sunny morning, All Might was making his way through the halls of the school, with a happy hum, as he was trying and succeeding not to think about the incident that had occurred the other day with Shigaraki and his Granddaughter. There wasn't any reason why he shouldn't accept her for being in that position, Venom had made Yang his daughter by blood, and this changed Scythe's and Eri's DNA to be her biological daughters as well. So they were family, through both blood and loyalty.
An' the best part was, Eri's PTSD seemed to go away after her sleep in the cocoon. When he asked Venom about this the next time he went to the café after that, she told him the cocoon has a sort of womb like effect on whoever is in it, bringing them peace, and helping them to deal with stress and trauma.
Apparently Scythe's trauma had been so bad that not even three trips inside the cocoon could fully cure it, though it did help her with it quite a bit.
He concluded his thoughts on his grandkids mental health's as he walking into the teacher's lounge, greeting his fellow staff.
"Morning everyone." Toshinori said walking in to find Cementous and Midnight watching the television.
"Perfect timing." Cementous exclaimed.
"You're on TV, right now, some kind of retrospective." Midnight said.
"About me?" Toshinori questioned coming to watch with them.
"*So, just how did All Might, the Symbol of Peace, become the #1 Hero in the world? Let's take a look back, at his time studying abroad in America.*"
"*You're safe because I am here.*" Toshinori's younger self said from the footage shown on the television
'How did they get their hands on that? It was literally the second crisis I stopped after I got to America. The first one being David's lab accident.' Toshinori thought. "That takes me back." He said.
"How many decades?" Midnight questioned.
"About two, if I'm not mistaken."
The trio turned to see Yang coming in to the Teacher's lounge, wearing a leather cat-suit with 1980's shoulder pads sporting three spikes on each of them. Her hair was sunset orange-red thanks to the use of an excessive amount of fun-gel temp-dye, as well as sporting a mask similar to Midnight's in her hands, while walking to them in sky high leather combat heels.
"He is forty-three after all." Yang smirked, enjoying the look of betrayal on his face.
"So that's how old you are." Midnight snickered.
"I know that costume. It's from your young age." Cementous said, bringing their attention back to the retrospective playing on the television.
"Huh, yeah." Toshinori sighed.
"Well spotted Cementous. He was using that costume when I was still in diapers." Yang smirked.
"Oh, well thanks. I've been a fan of All Might's since I was just a little kid." Cementous state with a smile on his face.
"Well aren't you an inspiration?" Midnight said to Toshinori, who popped into his slightly taller muscular form.
"No, not at all." All Might declared.
"Could you look more, smug dad?" Yang questioned, shaking her head.
"*All Might wasn't acting alone while abroad, the sidekick that supported him, was none other than a young David Shield.*" The narrator continued.
"Wait, does he mean, that David Shield?" Midnight questioned.
"Birds of a feather an all that. It's no surprise such elites found each other." Cementous exclaimed.
'Dave, it's been far too long my friend.' Toshinori thought with a smile.
"Yeah, but he was so over protective of me and Ruby, he didn't even bother letting the man who is basically our uncle, know we existed, until after we had to enlist Uncle David's help to get new I.D's made thanks to some villain hacking the system and erasing them." Yang stated, poking Toshinori in the cheek, ruining his memorial moment.
That was another reason for Venom doing the DNA change of Yang, Ruby, and Scythe. The Japanese government found that none of them were in the system, and that their identifications weren't in their files, so acting on her own, Venom changed the DNA of those three for when the DNA test came. When the results came back positive, that they were indeed related to him by blood, All Might spun a story he and Yang created, saying how he was investigating a villain whose Quirk allowed him to hack anything with a computer chip in it. The rest of the story goes on to say that All Might caught the villain, but all the files of his family had been erased, and that he had his friend David Shield to help him fix it.
"*An E-Mail is here. An E-Mail is here.*" Toshinori's computer signaled.
"It's about time to begin the special class." Aizawa said notifying them of his presence.
"I have a few notes about my costume." Midnight said.
"Not to worry, everything is ready." Cementous said.
"I can see you're ready for your role in this Huntress." Aizawa stated.
"You know it Eraserhead." Yang smirked. "Though this dye better wash out of my hair like you said it would or you'll pay."
"It will, no need to worry." Aizawa stated.
"I think the color suits you." Midnight smiled.
"Let's teach those wannabe pros a thing or two about heroing." Toshinori smirked.
~Class 1-A Homeroom~
"I am so sorry Scythe. I didn't mean to run away from you like that, it's just your question kinda caught me off guard with that question of yours." Uraraka stated.
"It's fine. I guess my question was kinda personal and would take anyone off guard if they were asked the same question." Scythe chuckled. "Though, I'm kinda curious. Why are there only you, me, Iida, Tsu, Todoroki, my Aunt Ruby, and Bakugo in class today?"
"I heard we'll be running through a course in small groups from the class." Todoroki said.
"Everyone take your seats." Aizawa said coming into the class room. "We'll be running this course multiple times with as Iida said, small groups from your class. Today it will be the seven of you."
"I'm assuming this will be harder than a normal class?" Scythe inquired raising her hand.
"That's correct. Prepare yourselves." Aizawa stated. "The lesson today was suggested to the faculty by Midnight and Huntress. It's appropriate for school academics so we went with it."
'I wonder what they'll have us do.' Tsu thought.
'Is this gonna be one of those times he threatens to expel us if we fail?' Ruby questioned.
"In this master class, you'll be tasked with saving innocent bystanders, and capturing a villain." Aizawa said, to which that caught Bakugo's attention.
"We're not just studying, we're playing heroes." Uraraka and Ruby shouted together.
A glare from Aizawa shut them up and the classroom was silent again.
"This should be obvious, but villains commit many different types of crime. The seven of you, will be dispatched to a scene, and will need to determine what happened there." Aizawa stated. "Whether or not a villain was actually at fault, whether or not you should fight, we will be judging your ability to assess the situation, as well as how well you defuse it." Aizawa explained. "Welcome your instructors."
The door slid open, and in came Toshinori in his All Might form.
"I am here, sneaking in through the back door." All Might smiled, striking a pose.
"There was nothing sneaky about that grandpa." Scythe sighed looking at him.
"Dad's teaching us?" Ruby asked.
"You're looking extra muscly today, yowza." Uraraka smiled flexing an arm and putting a hand on it.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha." All Might laughed.
"He's not the only one today." Aizawa said as Cementous, Midnight, Present Mic, and Yang were standing in front of the class.
"Mom, what did you do to your hair?" Scythe questioned.
"It's temporary hair dye. It'll wash out in the shower." Yang stated.
"These four will be assisting, they'll be acting as special trainers. Now go change into your hero costumes, and be quick about it." Aizawa said.
After that, the teachers left to get ready for their positions, while the students went to the locker rooms, where Scythe had a non-nanotech version of her costume hanging up.
"Where's the nanotech suit?" Uraraka questioned.
"It's at home. I don't wanna use it anymore." Scythe said. "So, my cousin Melissa sent me a suit made from the same materials as my Grandpa's suits. Though I don't know why she sent me leather knee high combat heels for the footwear. I don't really have much choice though since they're the only footwear I have for my costume."
Uraraka nodded, before looking Scythe over, and noticing her right arm. All over the limb Uraraka could see very noticeable scars dotting the surface of her friend's skin. Then came the big one, the scar from when her arm was torn off during her fight against Todoroki in the Sports Festival.
"Hey Scythe." Uraraka began.
"What's up?" Scythe inquired looking to her as she put the top part of her suit on. "God damn it Melissa, did you seriously make this a form fitting crop top?"
"Don't you want to get the scars on your arm healed?" Uraraka questioned.
"I'm curious about that to." Tsu said, joining the conversation. Ruby chose to stay out of it, because she knew why Scythe wouldn't get those scars healed.
"Honestly?" Scythe asked. "Not really."
"Why not?" Uraraka inquired.
"Well… you all know Eri's past. How mom and mama rescued her from Chisaki, and his experiments on her." Scythe exclaimed. "She has scars all along her arms, legs, and some on her back and the front of her torso to. I told her that scars aren't always a bad thing, that they're a sign that says you survived. So if I were to get my scars healed, for any reason, I feel like I'd be showing her my words were dead wrong, and that I'm a hypocrite."
"So, you're keeping your scars, to show your little sister you're strong?" Tsu asked.
"Pretty much yeah. I'm her big sister, so I have to set an example for her." Scythe stated. "Could one of you zip up the back for me?"
"Melissa really changed more of your costume than you thought huh?" Ruby asked as Tsu zipped it up.
"Yeah, my pants are more form fitting now, I'm wearing leather combat heels, and the top of my costume is basically a sleeveless kevlar crop top." Scythe sighed, putting her vambraces on. "I'm gonna have a talk with her when I go to I-Island."
"You're going to I-Island?" Tsu asked.
"Yeah, I was invited due to being the winner of the Sports Festival, and I can bring a plus one. I also got an invite from a scientist who's interesting to see how my weapons work." Scythe exclaimed, holstering her weapons. "I gave the invite from winning the Sports Festival to Bakugo. I hadn't properly thanked him for helping aunt Ruby at the USJ so I thought this might be nice."
"That's so sweet." Uraraka smiled. "What about the other invite?"
"She gave that to me. Told the scientist that I was someone he'd rather talk to about support items." Ruby said as she finished buckling her cloak and hood to her suit. "Alright, if we're all ready, let's go."
~Training Ground Beta~
The group of seven were waiting in an alleyway, before one by one, they stuck their heads around the corner, comically piling their heads atop one another.
"I see cardboard police cut outs." Ruby said, before the first to pop her head out, with Tsu coming in second, Uraraka being in third, and Iida being on top of the pile.
"This must be where the crime is taking place." Iida said.
"I'll brief you on the situation." Aizawa said from behind them, showing that Ruby, Tsu, and Uraraka were just crouching in front of Iida, while Bakugo, Todoroki, and Scythe were just standing there, Scythe shaking her head in embarrassment. "Xiao Long did you do something with your…"
"Don't even ask Mr. Aizawa, I'm already embarrassed from Todoroki asking the same thing." Scythe said, stopping him as she raised a hand. "Continue with the briefing please."
"Right." Aizawa said getting back on track. "There's been an attack in this jewelry store. The employees and customers have been taken hostage and have been barricaded inside. The number of villains and bystanders is unknown. As pro heroes you've been asked by the police to intervene, and resolve this incident to the best of your abilities."
"Iida, don't even bother asking what roles our teachers will be playing. Mr. Aizawa won't answer that." Scythe said, stopping Iida from answering his question, before he could ask it.
"How did you know I was gonna ask that?" Iida questioned.
"You're easy to read, like a book." Scythe stated.
"Verify the situation yourself and act accordingly." Aizawa stated.
"Now let's get started." Scythe said, before the sound of the buzzer went off.
"Alright, what's our first move?" Iida asked as the four had their heads poking out in their totem pole positions again.
"First you four need to stop standing around the corner like that. You look like a bunch of heads on an invisible skewer." Scythe said pulling out her scroll. "It would be best if we tried making contact with the villain first to see what their demands are." She exclaimed.
"I think we should figure out how many villains and hostages we're dealing with first." Ruby said.
"Uraraka. You go." Bakugo said, after scratching his head a bit.
"Me by myself?" She inquired.
"If we all go in, the villains will notice us." Bakugo stated. "But you can float up to the top window and not get caught."
"Yeah, you're right." Uraraka said. "I'm on it."
"Isn't that dangerous?" Tsu inquired.
"It is, but we can distract the villains, with contacting them like Scythe said." Todoroki said, adding his two scents into the planning.
Scythe looked around the corner, at the jewelry store, and began dialing the number on the window.
"Who is this?" Yang's voice questioned after picking up the phone. "The fuzz?"
"Mom's pretending to be the villain." Scythe said, lowering and covering the scroll for a second. "I'm a Pro-Hero, and you are?"
"Pro-Shmo I'm not impressed." Yang said answering her.
"Tell us how many villains on your right hand, and how many hostages on your left." Ruby said as Scythe proceeded to keep Yang busy by asking if the hostages were safe.
"Yeah, kay." Uraraka stated, before using her Quirk, and holding her breath, to float up to the window, while scrunched up in a ball.
"Release the innocents, and we'll consider your demands." Scythe exclaimed, keeping Yang busy.
"I only have one demand. I want the cops and the heroes to get the hell out of here. If you don't leave I guarantee I'll slice up and burn these hostages to a crisp." Yang said, as Uraraka peeked in through the top floor window.
She spotted Midnight, Cementous, Present Mic, and Toshinori tied up, being the hostages, while Yang was wearing the mask she had in her hands earlier, talking on the phone, while also lighting a flame in her hand.
"Very well, but first I need information on who you've got inside. Is anyone hurt?" Scythe stated. 'This all seems familiar somehow.'
"Someone will be if you don't stop taking your sweet ass time. Hurry up and get lost damn it." Yang shouted.
Uraraka turned back to the rest and held up one finger with her right hand, and four with her left.
"One villain, four hostages." Ruby said.
"Nice Uraraka, stay there wait for us." Iida said, signalling for Uravity to stay where she was, to which she made an O with her arms, signalling she got the message.
"Quick hide." Ruby said, seeing Yang coming to the window.
"It's mo- I mean the villain." Scythe exclaimed. 'That costume design of hers looks familiar to. I know I've seen it somewhere before, but where?'
"She's checking to make sure that everyone's gone." Todoroki said, as they observed Yang's behavior.
"In that case, we need to stay hidden, we can't put those hostages in danger." Tsu said.
"What if I were to use the shadows to get the hostages to safety?" Scythe asked.
"That could work. But we'd have to time it just right." Iida said.
"AAAHHHH. This is stupid." Bakugo shouted standing up.
"Katsuki." Ruby said firmly.
"Bakugo calm down." Iida said, trying to get his friend to stay calm.
"You're planning to charge straight in?" Todoroki questioned.
"Obviously." Bakugo stated. "I'll fire off a bunch of explosions and take down that villain, you guys can save the hostages or whatever I don't care."
"You're being way too irresponsible." Tsu stated.
"What are you talking about, she's right there in the window. This is our chance." Bakugo stated, before he went flying through the air on an explosion.
"Seriously what do I see in him?" Ruby questioned as they went charging after him, as he burst past the cops and to the jewelry story window.
"We have to move now to." Iida said in irritation.
"Unfortunately for you, this isn't a problem you can fight your way out of." Aizawa said, as they were out of earshot to hear his words.
"Ugh, the villain's disappeared inside." Ruby said.
"Damn it I won't let you have those hostages." Bakugo shouted, firing off an explosion the burst open the glass, causing a bunch of smoke to rise.
"Oh no, hurry." Iida called out.
When the others got into the building, as the smoke began to clear, they stopped behind a frozen in shock, Bakugo, as he was staring down at something he was not expecting to see.
"Wait, is that?" Ruby questioned.
"Now you get it." Aizawa said, standing outside the building. "This is the moment when the special class really begins."
The students were all starring down at the motionless body of Yang, a knife strewn to the ground to her right, and blood staining her chest and the ground below her.
'I knew this all seemed familiar.' Scythe shouted in her head in a panic as she realized where she recognized all this from.
"The villain was… killed?" Ruby asked.
Tsu stepped over to Yang's head and swiped her hair over her nose, tickling it a bit, getting confirmation that Yang was just acting it.
"Okay, Yang's still alive, she's playing." Tsu said. "But we're supposed to think she's dead."
"Even if she's playing we should still restrain her. She's the villain in this scenario so she might be just trying to trick us to find an escape route." Scythe said, her hands becoming covered in metal before she clamped Yang's legs down and together, while her torso and arms were pinned down as well.
"Is it because of Bakugo's blast?" Uraraka asked, coming down from the ceiling.
"No way, it wasn't even that strong." Bakugo stated. "Weren't you watching, you were supposed to be our eyes?"
"Yeah, but I couldn't see anything because of all the smoke." Uraraka stated.
"The murder weapon is a knife covered in blood." Todoroki exclaimed.
"The building was surrounded by police, so we know no one went in or out of the building." Iida said.
"That means whoever killed the villain, must still be here." Ruby stated.
'I've already solved the case, but I'm scared of what might happen if I say how I know what went down. I'll just try to let them solve it on their own.' Scythe thought.
"Hold on, that may be the case, but it's too soon to know that for sure." Uraraka stated.
"She's right, we should listen to the hostages, and listen to what they have to say first, get their testimonies and their eyewitness reports." Ruby said.
'If they're unable to get it I'm gonna have to say what went down. An' then mom will kill me.' Scythe groaned.
"She's right, we need to know how events unfolded." Tsu said, as Scythe went about untying Mr. Cementous first, thus making him the first person they spoke to.
"I am but a humble employee of this store." Cementous exclaimed, playing as an employee of the store. "A villain suddenly appeared and threatened me, I handed over the jewels and then she tied me up."
Next was Midnight, playing as a big time advertisement agency, person.
"I dropped by to pick up a few new pieces and the villain was already here. She caught me while I was too surprised to resist her." Midnight exclaimed.
Third was Present Mic, who was, surprise-surprise, playing the part of a musician.
"Yo-yo my bros. What it do?" Present Mic questioned, greatly exaggerating his acting skills needed for the scene. "I came to find a bomb-ass piece of frosty for my hottie GF and that villain laid me out flat. It was so not dope."
'Okay, he's got the story of his character down, but he's blowing the actions and phrases out of proportion.' Scythe thought. 'I feel a bit insulted.'
Finally was Toshinori, who was playing the part of the store owner.
"I came through from my office to see what the commotion was about, and that's when I saw her. I tried reaching for the silent alarm, but she was too fast and tied me up." Toshinori exclaimed. "That villain was scary I tell you."
"When the villain first arrive, was this man already in the store?" Todoroki questioned pointing at Present Mic.
"Yes he was browsing. That beast knocked him unconscious, and he was asleep for quite a long time." Cementous exclaimed.
"An' when you first came into the shop Ma'am, did you see both of these men?" Todoroki questioned Midnight.
"I didn't get a good look when I walked in, but when she was tying me up, I noticed these two men had been in different parts of the store." Midnight exclaimed.
"An' you sir, where were you when she came in?" Tsu asked Toshinori.
"I was in my office. All three of them had already been tied up and gagged by the time I came out to see what the commotion was." Toshinori stated.
"Excuse me." Ruby said. "We need to take a quick look through your wallets and bags."
After a quick look through of their wallets, and finding them filled with fake cash and cards, Ruby returned the bags to them, and began thinking.
'The plot really isn't that hard to figure out. Come on.' Scythe thought.
"One of you killed this stupid villain, just come out and tell us, or else." Bakugo shouted.
"What's the motive?" Todoroki questioned.
"What?" Bakugo asked, getting in his face.
Scythe just raised her hands with a deadpan look, while they were covered in metal, before she walked over to Yang, having had enough of this.
"The stolen jewelry you moron, plus they're just bad guys." Bakugo shouted.
"Even if that were the case, it's it a little too reckless to kill the villain when you're locked in a store?" Tsu asked. "You'd definitely be a suspect."
"Besides, the criminal dropped the jewelry." Todoroki added. "Yet no one took the bag."
"If the theft wasn't the motive, then maybe…" Tsu trailed off as she began drawing a blank.
"Another conflict?" Uraraka questioned.
"Yeah, if there were two villains in here, and during the attack they argued about how to split up the loot that could be the motive. They could have had a falling out and on killed the other, just to have the jewelry all to themselves." Ruby stated.
"If that's the case then the hostages would have heard their conversations." Tsu exclaimed.
"Nah girl I didn't hear anything like that." Present Mic exclaimed over exaggerating his movements again.
"Nor did I." Cementous added.
"Me neither." Midnight stated.
"No such conversations were spoken. As far as I knew, she was working alone." Toshinori stated.
"Then you think the villain was working alone?" Todoroki questioned.
"Yes." Cementous exclaimed, right before Iida came back.
"I've inspected every corner of the store, there's no back exit, and all the windows are sealed." Iida stated. "It's impossible that anyone escaped."
"Then the person at fault has to be one of these four." Uraraka stated.
"I didn't do it." Midnight declared.
"I'm innocent." Cementous stated.
"I'm not going down for this, it wasn't me yo." Present Mic stated.
"I can assure you no one in this store killed that young lady, I am but a humble shop keeper." Toshinori stated.
Their conversation was drawn by a soft thud, repeating multiple times, and the other students looked over to see Scythe was putting down more restraints.
"Uh Scythe, what are you doing?" Uraraka questioned.
"Shopkeeper, did anyone manage to trigger the silent alarm before being tied up?" Scythe questioned.
"No, I'd have received an alert on my computer if that happened, before I came out here." Toshinori stated.
"So if the police weren't called from inside the store. Then they were called ahead of time, and whoever did that, willingly put themselves in harm's way to keep the villain distracted." Scythe sighed stepping away from Yang, showing that only her eyes were visible through cracks in the restraints now. She looked like a metal mummy.
"Scythe what the hell?" Ruby shouted.
"I know what went down." Scythe sighed crossing her arms, and leaning against a glass case. "I know exactly what happened."
"An' how the fuck would you know that?" Bakugo questioned sounding rather calm.
"Because this is the exact jewelry store robbery scene that came out of, Hero's Passion Love and War, the erotic love story novel that's right now best seller in America, and Japan." Scythe sighed.
Hearing this response from Scythe caused Midnight to spit take, without even having a drink on her.
"How the hell did she know what book you and Yang pulled this scenario from?" Present Mic whispered to her.
"I have no freaking clue, ask her yourself." Midnight whispered back.
"Scythe I swear if you went pilfering through my room and read that book from my stash, you're grounded until you're twenty." Yang shouted, fighting against her restraints.
"So, how do you know where this scenario came from?" Ruby questioned.
"First let me explain what actually went down during the crime, since we're still on the clock." Scythe sighed. "Yang is dressed exactly like Scarlet Demon, the teenaged villain who just wants to make money for her family, no matter the cost to her own life, be it jail time or physical injury. Midnight is playing the role of her mother, Akame Saito. Grandpa Toshi, despite the irony, is playing the part of her father, Tsukasa Saito."
"So, what happened?" Uraraka questioned.
"Scarlet Demon, Ruri Saito, wanted to let her parents live as comfortably as possible, so she dressed up as a villain, and came to rob her father's jewelry store, hopping that the insurance money could let him retire, and also spend more time at home. Akame knew of her daughter's plan, and wanted to stop her, so throughout the day, after she called in sick, she followed her daughter, and stayed behind for a minute, as Ruri went into the store, and began robbing the place. Akame called the police, before she went into the store. Now being surprised her mother was there, Ruri panicked, and tied her up as well. At that point the police and the heroes, us, had arrived, leaving her trapped. After tying up her father, who was supposed to be out, she realized she didn't have anywhere else to run. An' not wanting to see the disappointed looks on their faces when she went to court, Ruri did the unthinkable, and pierced her own heart with the knife, leaving her own mother and father mortified." Scythe explained. "So the results are this. The villain, committed suicide. Because she couldn't bear the shame she had no doubt, brought upon her from her parents."
"But in the end, Akame and Tsukasa showed that they didn't feel shame for what their daughter did. They loved her and just wanted her back in their arms." Ruby said. "Her death had been faked, but she couldn't let them know that, as she would have brought shame upon them."
"You know the scene to?" Iida asked in shock.
"Yang let me borrow the book." Ruby chuckled, cutely sticking out her tongue. "It's just that a jewelry heist gone wrong is a scenario used multiple times, I didn't think it would be from that particular book."
"I'm impressed." Aizawa said walking in. "You solved the crime, and restrained the villain who was playing you for fools. Well done. You all pass."
"But I must ask, how did you know what book we took this scenario from?" Midnight questioned.
"Do you have your copy on you?" Scythe inquired.
Midnight reached into her purse, and pulled out the book, with a headshot image of Scarlet Demon's masked face, and her saddened parents on the cover.
"You actually carry that around with you?" Present Mic asked.
"Yeah, light reading at lunch and breaks." Midnight stated.
"Present Mic, I got a few things to say about you. One you ask the musician Tsunaka was a good choice, but you over-exaggerated his movements and mannerisms, he's not nearly as energetic as you. Try dumbing it down a bit." Scythe stated. "Mr. Cementous, you did perfectly playing the part of Mr. Sunahora. The assistant store manager. I'm impressed."
"Again, I ask how you knew about the scenario." Midnight asked handing her the book.
Scythe just sighed and held up the cover, and pointed to the Acronym on the bottom under the subtext of the title, where the author's name would normally be.
"S-X-L. Scythe Xiao Long." Scythe stated. "I wrote the book."
Midnight and all the adults and the other students looked at her in shock, Yang's struggling stopped when she heard that, as she no doubt went pale under her restraints.
"Oh my god, my niece is a smut writer." Ruby shrieked.
"I'm a fan… of an eight year old's erotic writing." Midnight said, in disbelief.
"I wrote it in my Second Gear Argonaut form. So there's no need to worry." Scythe sighed, taking a pen from her pocket and autographing it with a short message.
"Scythe you gotta tell me." Midnight said, clasping her hands, as she looked at her with anticipation in her eyes. "When will the next book come out, do Akame and Tsukasa find out the gender of their gestating twins, do we see Ruri becoming romantically involved with the American she's met on her travels?"
"Alright enough." Scythe said, slipping her hands away and backing up a bit. "Look, I haven't even begun outlining the second book, I've been so busy with school and training I haven't had time. Here just take your copy back, and stop asking me questions."
"Scythe." Tsu said coming to her. "If I were to bring my mom's copy of the book, would you sign it?"
"Same? My mom has really been wanting to get S-X-L's Autograph." Uraraka stated.
"My mother, as embarrassing as it is to ask, would also like an autograph." Iida stated.
"You do know my mom's not gonna be happy when she hears about this. That book has been her favorite since she first laid eyes on it." Bakugo stated. "But she'll want an autograph to."
"Fine. All of you bring the copies of your mom's books the day before the Training Camp starts, and I'll sign them all." Scythe said. "I'm leaving. Mom's already turned into lightning and escaped her confines as soon as the exercise was over, so I'm gone."
~Teacher's Lounge~
"Holy crap Kali I can't believe this." Yang said speaking into her scroll, sounding a bit panicked. "My own daughter, is the author of a smut series. What do I do?"
"Which series is it?" Kali asked.
"Hero's Passion, Love and War." Yang groaned.
"Oh, she's a best seller's author then. Guess there's not really much you can do unless you're wanting to face an uproar of angry fans." Kali said.
"I know. But she's my daughter, I can't let her go through with being a smut writer." Yang exclaimed.
"Just think this through, and be happy she isn't drawing porn." Kali stated.
"Yeah, you're right. I should supportive of her." Yang said, before hanging up the phone.
"Hey Yang." Toshinori said coming into the teacher's lounge. "You left in a bit of a rush. That was some shocking news huh?"
"Yeah it was." Yang said as Toshinori sat at his computer.
"Huh, I got an E-mail from Melissa." Toshinori said. "Oh, she's inviting you, me, Scythe, and Ruby to I-Island's expo. Plane leaves tonight, you think we'll have time to make it?"
"I'm sure we will." Yang said. "A change of pace could be a good thing to get my mind off Scythe's S-X-L, revelation."
"Yeah, I agree." Toshinori said, picking up his cellphone, and dialing up a number. "Hey Kali, I was wondering if you could do something for me…? Yang, Scythe, Ruby, and I have been invited to I-Island's expo… Oh, Ruby's already going because of an invite Scythe passed onto her? Huh, guess that means we can bring Blake. I was just wanting to ask if you'd be able to pack their bags before the plane leaves tonight… Yes I know it's a bit short notice, but I just got the E-Mail with the invite, and I'm looking at it right now… Great, I appreciate it. Thank you."
"So we all set for going tonight?" Yang asked.
"Kali's just gonna pack all your bags, she said she'd bring them in the car to pick us up, and take us to the airport when we're done for the day. I'll go let Nezu know that we'll be at I-Island for about a week." Toshinori said. "Huh, also says to hide Scythe from the public, so she's not visible to anyone. Wonder why."
~I-Island~
Melissa was walking down the halls of her school, her dorm wasn't really used for sleeping she did that at home in her own room across the hall from her father's, David Shield. She had sent the formal invites to everyone she wanted to come. She was so excited to meet Ruby for the first time, she hadn't been this excited since she first went to meet Yang and Scythe.
Though when she returned to I-Island, she got straight to work on trying to find a solution to a problem she had. Well, more like a problem Scythe had. Melissa was trying everything she could, to find a way to turn her back into a boy. An' finally she had found it in the form of her old lab partner from her second year at I-Island Academy.
~Flashback~
"Hey Melissa, how's it going? You look dead tired." Her friend asked.
"Hey Jason. It's nothing, I'm just trying, and failing at finding a solution to this problem my little cousin has." Melissa stated, heavy bags under her eyes. At this point, she's barely slept the past three months since returning to I-Island, and only did so when she passed out from too much sleep deprivation. She made sure to get plenty of food when she needed it, but other than that, and taking showers every now and then, she wasn't taking proper care of herself.
"Oh, you mean your cousin, All Might's granddaughter?" Jason asked.
It was no secret on the Island that her father had been a sidekick to the #1 Hero in the world, while also being just like a brother to him. So people didn't find it strange when she referred to him and her uncle, or Yang and Scythe as her cousins.
"Yeah." Melissa sighed.
"What's the problem exactly?" Jason questioned.
"Well, on the night we were celebrating Yang and Blake's graduation from U.A, Scythe had a bit of a run in with a pedo with a gender swapping Quirk, turning him into a her. I'm trying to find a solution to that, and reverse it." Melissa exclaimed. "Thankfully nothing happened to her beyond that, but yeah, I'm still trying to find a way to reverse it."
"Is that all?" Jason asked, as if that were the easiest problem out there.
"What do you mean?" Melissa asked.
"I can solve your this problem of yours no sweat." Jason exclaimed.
"Huh?" Melissa asked, tilting her head a bit as if asking him to explain.
"You don't know what my Quirk is huh?" Jason asked.
"No. You never brought it up." Melissa said.
"I try not to when I'm around you, since I thought you might get upset with Quirk talk and all that." Jason said. "My Quirk isn't a normal one. I actually don't use it at all unless someone pays me for it."
"What's your Quirk?" Melissa asked.
"I can swap someone's gender, with a flick to the forehead." Jason stated. "That's why I never thought about becoming a hero, and decided to join the support course instead. My Quirk ain't cut out for something like that."
"So, wait… all this time I… could have been sleeping if I had known what your Quirk was?" Melissa questioned.
"Pretty much. Though the sleep deprivation part is on you." Jason chuckled.
"Ugh…" Melissa groaned as she passed out.
~End Flashback~
That conversation was three days ago. Since then, Melissa has caught up on her sleep, and just to tease Scythe and get her to come by, made a few alterations to her suit before sending it off to her place last night with a drone.
When Scythe and the others came by tomorrow, first thing they'd do after meeting with her dad, was meet up with Jason, and have him flick Scythe's forehead.
Melissa walked into her dorm/lab, and went rummaging through a few things, before she found the journal she had made, filled with different designs for suits Scythe, Yang, Blake, and Ruby could use.
"Tomorrow is gonna be a blast, I just know it." Melissa smiled.
