All of Cloudsdale high was still trying to make sense of what had happened during the 'Myestro sisters' audition.

Meanwhile said band was in the girls room where Aria and Sonata were passing their magic on to Adagio.

"Mhhh. Now that's good stuff." she hummed while shivering. "Kinda feel like I'm getting a full body massage."

"Well I hope you enjoyed it because that's all we can spare." Aria said firmly.

"Don't worry you made your point painfully clear last time." Adagio said feeling phantom pain in her hand.

"Are we done yet?" asked Sonata. "I want to crawl under a table and curl up into a ball until I die."

"I thought the song we just sang was supposed to help you?" Aria asked.

"I don't know, it did but also didn't, ugh! It's so confusing!" she groaned while grabbing at her hair and tugged at it.

"Are you gonna let Kid try to make it up to you like he said he would?"

"I don't know!" she shouted. "Part of me wants to but another part of me just wants to punch him in his dumb cute face."

"Sounds like the part that wants to is winning if you still think he's cute." Aria said.

"Shut up! You got dumped too!" she snapped back, making Aria flinch before looking at her

with a scowl.

"Do you WANT me to knock your block off? Because I'm strong enough to actually do it."

"Just try it, it might actually help me stop feeling so confused." Sonata whined.

"Well you two can have fun swirling in an emotional malstrom, I'm gonna test my magic." waved Adagio before she walked out of the rest."

"Seriously though can you just put me out of my misery?" Asked Sonata grabbing Aria's fist and aimed it at her forehead. "Right here should be good."

Aria let out a groan before pulling her hand away. "Get a grip Sonata, I'm not gonna do that just because you're dealing with your first break up. You're just gonna have to ride it out. I gotta go talk to Sparky anyway."

"But what am I gonna do?!"

"Hang out with that pink puffball girl, stuff your face with something sweet, I don't know. Just pick something and do it." she walked out leaving Sonata who looked down while feeling like a dark cloud was looking over her.

She then looked at the mirror and walked up to it. She reached up to her hair and pulled out her scrunchy. Her hair fell down her back and covered half her face as she reached out and touched her reflection with an empty, lifeless gaze. "I guess this is who I am now." She said before her phone started ringing. She looked at it and saw it was from Kid. "Ugh, Ignore."

She ignored the call before she went into her contacts and texted Fluffle Puff. "Please get me some make up, dark makeup."

[Still not feeling well?] came the texted reply.

"...no. In bathroom sulking. Need hug."

[I'm on my way.]

Elsewhere Aria was walking through the halls. She noticed how people were looking at her differently now. A few were clapping or giving her thumbs up, while a few looked nervous around her, either way they made sure to make a path for her. "Now, where's Sparky?" She asked herself looking around. 'He couldn't be somewhere else, not after the kind of performance we pulled. Plus no one's allowed to leave school grounds.'

"Yo Ria!" Sparky called.

She turned and saw him walking up to her with a smile. "There you are, I was just looking for you. I need to tell you something."

"Aight cool, let's go someplace private and-"

"No, right here is good." she cut him off with a frown. "If we're gonna talk, there's no reason to do it in private." She said and reached into her pocket. "You wanna break up? Fine here's your crumby ring back."

Hearing that instantly got the students nearby to start murmuring while Aria dropped the ring onto the floor with Sparky stunned.

"Wait wha...Ria-"

"Save it." She said holding up her hand. "I got better things to do. And my name is Aria." she walked right past him while he picked up his ring and tried to follow.

"Ria wait! Please." he called when suddenly he was surrounded by girls hoping to catch him on the rebound. "Hang on girls, let's talk abou-Gah!"

Aria herself kept on walking while clenching her hands. 'Just keep walking, don't look back.'

With Adagio, she was walking down a hall while making sure no one was around. She held out her hand and turned on the water fountain from a distance. She grinned and walked over before taking a sip and sighed with relief. "Oh yeah, I've missed that. The feeling of control, of power. I just need to use what I have sparingly, and convince Aria and Sonata to help me. The three of us together could take this world by storm. Or at the very least I can milk the magic from them to fuel my own."

With that in mind she started to feel her mind go into overdrive on plotting out various ideas, some of which involved revenge.

"If I can get enough magic, I could make those miserable Rainbooms pay, and I mean PAY. The only real challenge would be deciding how to finish them."

"No! I won't do it." Adagio heard Rosa say around the corner before she looked to see her arguing with Chrysalis.

"Excuse me?" Chrysalis questioned looking appalled. "Did you just say 'no' to me?"

"Yes, I said NO. Can't you hear? I'm sick and tired of pretending to be a mean girl like you to stay on your good side." she frowned. "I'm gonna do what I should have done before and not follow you like a lost puppy."

"How dare you." Chrysalis fumed.

"Oh I dare alright." Rosa stated firmly. "Unlike the rest of your flunkies you don't have any dirt to blackmail me with."

"Oh that can be rectified very easily dear Rosa." warned the girl with a narrowed look. "You'd be surprised how easy it is to find dirt on someone with enough hands at your disposal. Don't forget I'm class president."

"Then I think it's time for a new class president. And I'm nominate Adagio."

"Woah woah woah!" Adagio ran out and put her hands on Rosa's shoulders "Can we talk for a second?" She pulled her away so they could talk in private. "What the heck Rosa!?"

"What? What's wrong?"

"I can't run for class president! I have enough on my plate trying to restore my powers, remember?"

"Ohh…. right." she remarked while looking bashful. "Sorry It's just that Chrysalis wanted me to find some dirt on you that she could use."

"Dirt on me? Why?"

"Your song made the entire school cry at once, even Chrysalis herself. She thinks you might be a threat to her eventually so-"

"So now she wants something to blackmail me with." Adagio finished and let out a groan. "Should I have known that would happen."

"Well as long as she's class president no one will jump to stop her." Rosa explained.

"Well then we're gonna have to find someone else, because I'm no class president."

"We?"

"Yes 'we'. The sooner we get her off my back the sooner I can focus on getting my powers to full strength.' she replied while crossing her arms. "So let's get started. First we need to talk to Discord. Lets go."?

Back in the restroom Fluffle Puff was helping Sonata with the make up. Although it was far from what she was expecting.

"Does it look ok?" she asked with black eyeshadow and mascara.

[You look like an emo.] Fluffle quickly typed in reply. "Why did you want this?"

[Because it feels right.] she admitted while looking down with a blank expression. "I don't feel like the same girl I once was. I feel icky and my tummy is all twisted up."

[Do you still need that hug?]

"...yes please."

Fluffle moved over and hugged Sonata who hugged back and felt a little bit better, but not entirely. She wondered when, or if the pain would ever stop.

"Thanks. I needed that."

[Need anything else?]

"Just give me a minute." she spoke while taking a deep breath and broke the hug.

Fluffle made her way out before Sonata looked back at the mirror and sighed.

It wasn't a moment later when the door opened again. A girl with blue skin black hair that draped over her eye while wearing a black blouse with a grey skirt and black boots walked in.

"Fluffle please, just leave me alone."

"Excuse me?"

"What?" Sonata turned and saw the girl who felt her breath catch in her throat looking at Sonata.

"Uh ...uh ...I… Hi." She answered.

"Hi." Sonata greeted back bluntly. "Who are you?"

"Oh. I'm Obsidian Shadow. But you can call me Dian, or whatever." she replied while blowing at her hair while looking away. "So...nice mascara."

"Thanks, wasn't sure if I was using it right. My friend Fluffle Puff helped me out."

That made Dian blink. "Fluffle Puff? Pink hair, doesn't talk much, kinda...goofy?"

"Uh huh, that's the one." Sonata nodded. "My name is Sonata Dusk by the way."

"Wow even your name is beautiful." She thought out loud before covering her mouth.

"Thanks, same to you." Sonata said before Dian relaxed then looking her over. "Hey, you look like you've been doing the emo thing for a while. Am I doing it right?" She asked looking at herself in the mirror. "I don't know if this is too much or too little."

"Oh trust me it's just right, but…"

"But what?"

"Hold on." Dian reached into her pocket and pulled out a tube of lipstick. "Open your mouth and hold still."

Sonata did so before Dian moved over and started to slowly apply it.

"Okay now just curl your lips inward and take a look."

Sonata did so before looking at the mirror and saw the dark blue color of her lip. "Woah."

"Eat your heart out Mona Lisa. Am I right?"

"Yeah, I look ...older."

"It's a good look for you." Dian remarked moving behind Sonata and put her hands on Sonata's shoulders. "If you want, I could really help bring out your inner darkness."

"You can?"

"Of course, but I have to ask. How new are you to this?"

"Like, REALLY new." she said. "I got dumped."

"What was it like, your third lover, fourth?"

"...first one." she looked down with sadness.

"Ouch." winced the girl. "That one's always the hardest. What was it like?"

"He dumped me to preserve his dumb social status."

"He?" Dian said with a slight look of hurt.

"Yeah, and when I thought he was such a great guy. Guess I was wrong, again."

Dian looked away while Sonta did the same, but she shook her head and frowned. "Well who needs him? Guys like that are nothing but scum. Me? I only like girls. Maybe...you should give girls a try."

"Oh, well yeah, me too." remarked Sonata like it was obvious. "I always give them a try." She said making Dian smile, but for a different reason.

"Then let's get your inner darkness out for all to see." Dian spoke turning Sonata to the mirror.

"Is it gonna hurt?"

"Not as much as your shattered heart." grinned the girl as the camera panned away from the restroom.

Out in the hall Sparky was running for his life. He was trying his best to dodge students while a crowd of girls chased him.

"Sometimes it really bites bein' so loved!" cried the rapper while nearly getting his butt grabbed by the girls. "Woo! Yo! Hands of the goods man!"

"Come on! Quit running!" one girl shouted.

"We just wanna love you!"

"Give us that bod!"

He let out a cry of panic before he spotted the boys bathroom and smiled. "Sorry ladies, but where I'm goin' you can't follow!" he ducked inside making the girls skid to a stop with one stamping her foot with a huff.

"Dang it!"

"Every time!"

"No fair!"

The crowd dispersed before Sparky poked his head out.

"Phew, that was a close one. Just like old times. Now to find Ria and figure out what's goin' on with her." with that he made his way back out, but on high alert. "Slowly and quietly."

"Hey Sparky!"

"Gah!" Sparky jumped. He turned and saw it was Kid, making him sigh with relief. "Yo man, don't sneak up on a guy like that. Nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"Sorry, but I saw you duck in the boy's bathroom and had to ask if you'd seen Sonata."

"She's your girlfriend dude. Just call her." Sparky instructed.

"She won't answer my calls, she's really mad at me." he spoke looking at his phone with sadness. "I was hoping you saw her, maybe if I talk to her in person I can fix things."

"I told her I couldn't be with her if she was going to be hanging out with Fluffle Puff."

"...dawg." Sparky looked at him like he was a complete idiot. "What is wrong with!? Sonata's a solid 10 and you drop her like that!? That ain't just messed up bro, that's low."

"I know I know! It's just...I opened my fat mouth and did it because I was more worried about myself then her. It was the spur of the moment, how do I get her back?"

"You want me to be blunt or sugar coat it?"

"Blunt."

"If I was her, I woulda kicked you in the kiwis and not wanna see you for the rest of my life. But there might be a chance, like ...30%, 35% at best."

"But how can I make that work if I don't know where she is?"

"Tell you what man, you send me a pic of her, I'll see what I can do. Right now I got my own girl troubles to deal with."

"What do you mean?"

"Ria thinks I dumped her after...uh." Sparky looked away and scratched the back of his head.

"After what?"

"Look forget it, it's her biz Kay. Let's just say I found somethin' out about her and I needed to think. But I was sure I told her I didn't want to break up."

"But she assumed it was that way, right?"

"I don't know, I guess. I need to talk to her."

"Well maybe we can both keep an eye out for each other's girl and tell the other if we see them. Unless you got a bunch of friends you can't ask for help. I mean you're pretty popular so you must have a few friends who are willing to help."

"You know that's not a bad idea." He said before taking out his phone and started typing. "Extra eyes around here is just what we need. And there we go now all we gotta do is wait for someone to spot her. Though it could take a few-"

*Ping.*

"Seconds." He said and looked at the message. "She's out front on a bench."

"Wow, just how many friends do you have?"

"It's a long list. Most are just fans who friended me on social media. Later man."

"Wait! What about helping me find Sonata?"

"I'll call if my friends find her!" he called as he rushed off. He made his way to the front of the school and scanned the area before he spotted her. "Yo Ria!"

Aria looked over at him and saw him waving as he rushed over. She frowned and stood up before walking away.

"Ria wait!"

"Leave me alone. You made your point."

"What? Ria wait!" He called before grabbing her arm. "Stop for a second.."

"I don't have to! You made it really clear." she frowned removing his hand. "You think I'm a freak for technically being older than your granny so you want to break up, admit it."

"Say what now?" Sparky let out in confusion. "Ria I specifically said I didn't want to break up."

"You're a liar." She growl.

"What makes you think I'm lyin'?"

"BECAUSE EVERYONE LIES!" She shouted making Sparky recoil and go silent "Everyone...lies. That's all people do. I could see it on your face."

"Is that really what you think?"

"It's called a fact of life, and I've been around long enough to know it's true that when people say something almost all the time its a lie. Only actions speak truth."

"That's...kind of a dark way to see the world Ria. Not everyone lies. Go ahead and ask me something. I promise I'll only tell the truth."

"Suuure you will." she rolled her eyes.

"Just humor me."

"...ugh fine." She said before looking him over. "How do you get your hair to look like lightning bolts?"

The question seemed to surprise him before reaching to his hair. "You know I have absolutely no idea, and I tried everything to tame this mane, but it won't stay down." He said before brushing back his hair back only for it to spring back into its original style once he moved his hands. "You see?"

"Ok, that's both weird, and convenient. I'd kill to have hair that sticks the way I want it."

"You think I want this? I can't tell you how many times I thought about shaving it all off. But then I think, what if it grows back in an even goofier style like a cone? I don't want everyone callin' me Dunce Cap Joe."

"Then you'd look as tolerable as your attitude. Okay next question." She said. "How many girls have you dated in your entire life?"

"Dated? Are you kidding? Before you I was running away from girls. They always chase me hoping I pick one of them to date. The only places I can get away from them is at home or in the nearest men's restroom. And don't get me started on the lunches they'd bring for me to school, I'd feel so guilty I'd eat every dish they gave me. My stomach hurts just thinking about it."

"Guilty how?"

"Because if I don't I'd feel awful because I didn't go ahead and eat 'em after they slaved over hot stoves, pouring their blood and sweat into each one just for me. And most of them were very salty." he admitted with a grimace. "I like the stuff, but that don't mean I wanna gulp it down like juice." Suddenly realization dawned on him. "Oh no! Now that they think I'm available they might actually start bringing me lunches again!"

Aria saw him start to turn green and moved his hands to his stomach before she grimaced. "Are you okay? You look like your about to throw up."

"Aw man, I can't handle all that extra food. I'm just one guy!" He said before starting to panic and dropped to his knees. "I'll need to have my stomach pumped again!"

"Wait, again?" Aria let out before Sparky curled into a ball and played with his hair as he rocked back and forth while muttering to himself. 'Woah, he looks traumatized.' she thought of what to do before grabbing him and lifted him off the ground before shaking him. "Snap out of it!"

"Huh? What? Who? Oh! Uh, Sorry about that Ria." He said before noticing she was lifting him off the ground. "Uh, not that I don't mind being close, but could you...you know."

She deadpanned before dropping him on his butt.

"Doing it softer woulda been nice."

"Okay last question...how do you feel about me now that you know who and what I really am?" she asked while unknowingly holding her breath as everything seemed to go quiet.

"Heh, honestly ...I don't feel all that different." He smiled.

"What?"

"Yeah, I feel the same way about you that I always have." He said standing up. "Admittedly I have a few burning questions, but I do love you Ria."

Aria's face turned red when he used the 'L' word, making her look away. "Well...good."

"Good? That's all you can say? Nah, after all that I believe I am entitled to a few answers."

"Oh yeah? Like what?"

"For starters, where do you really come from, and what do you really look like?"

"What? You think I couldn't look like this?" she crossed her arms.

"Well early you said something about not really looking like this or somethin'." Sparky shrugged. "I just wanna know what you look like underneath it all."

"In that case you might wanna sit down."

Sparky took a seat while Aria looked around to see if there was anyone looking before sitting down next to him. "

For starters I come from the world of equestria."

Meanwhile Adagio and Rosa were talking to Discord. Said youngman was currently sitting upside down in his seat while munching on an apple when the door opened.

"Discord!" Rosa let out stepping in.

"Hi there Rosa, care for an apple?" he asked before he saw Adagio walk in and lost his balance. He fell down on his face and groaned before looking up "What the…Rosa!? What were you thinking bringing her here?!" He let out before Adagio looked around.

On the wall were at least six computer screens with two keyboards in front of a desk. There were no windows whatsoever, and finally a computer mainframe as tall as adagio herself.

"What's with this room?" she asked.

"This is where Discord watches all over the school. It use to be the A/V room but Discord made it his own." Rosa said as Discord stood up and dusted himself off.

"Wait, what do you mean by ALL over?"

"As in I see everything that goes on in this school." Discord replied as he walked up to them. "I also have full control over everything with a computer chip, regardless of whether it's wireless or not."

"Computer chip like phones and stuff."

"Down to the water pressure of the bidets in the bathrooms."

"Did not need that imai in my head, let's change the subject."

"Fine by me." Discord shrugged. "So Rosa, what brings you here?"

"Well let me put it to you this way, I don't think Chrysalis will be inviting me to any party's anytime soon."

"Ooh finally stood up to her eh, bout time." he smiled while giving a little clap. "I'd say this calls for a celebration."

"No time for that, right now we need to focus on getting Chrysalis off my back." Adagio said.

"Ooh, sounds like someone's making friends." He said sarcastically "Is this about your magic singing?"

"No, it's about how 'someone' thought it was a good idea to suggest I be the new class president." she said looking a Rosa sternly

"It's partially because of the magic singing." Rosa added.

"Aha! I knew it, Chrysalis will do anything for more power, and powers like yours don't go unnoticed." Discord said walking back to his deck and sat down. "I was actually quite surprised when my eyes watered uncontrollably during your song."

"Well I'm trying to stay low on the radar, and I can't do that if I'm class president, otherwise I can't practice with my magic."

"And once elections are over she'll do everything in her power to try and control you, whether she knows what you can really does or not." He added. "I doubt her going for you is gonna give you much privacy. Or your sisters for that matter."

"Don't worry about them, Aria couldn't care less about anything so she can't be blackmailed into submission so easily, and Sonata is so innocently ditzy she doesn't have anything Chrysalis could blackmail her with." Adagio reassured.

"But Chrysalis is stealthy and devious. She's been known to get secrets out of kids who were extremely tight lipped." Rosa said.

"Trust me it's fine. For now we need to get started." Adagio spoke walking up to the monitors.

"Oh you read my mind." chuckled Discord with mirth and cracked his fingers.

Elsewhere the door to the girls bathroom opened. Outstepped Dian who looked at her work with pride while pulling out her phone and took a pic.

"Do you think all this makeup is enough? I don't wanna come across as someone just doing it halfway. Or like a clown."

"You look perfect." smirked Dian. "Now everyone can see the inner darkness and pain you have inside."

"Well... alright." Sonata spoke and stepped out into the hall. Her hair had been brought down over her shoulders with black mascara running down her cheeks and under her eyes like tears with the blue lipstick standing out against her skin, along with dark grey eyeshadow.

Dian tried to hide her blush behind her phone as she held it close to her face. If it was anyone other than Sonata it wouldn't go unnoticed.

"You know, I do kinda feel more right. Thanks a ton for helping." she said with little enthusiasm.

"Anything for you." She muttered.

"What?"

"Uh! I said...anytime." she spoke with a quick nod while trying to hide a blush. "Now that jerk can see the pain he's caused you. What was his name?"

"Kid. Short for Wiz Kid."

"Oh, I think I've heard of him. Is he one of those dopey nerds?"

"Yeah." Sonata looked down sadly and put a hand on her arm. "I really thought he was nice, but I guess I was too stupid...sorry."

Dian looked confused. "For wh-" she didn't get a chance to finish before Sonata hugged her. Her eyes widened while feeling her face heat up even more, shuddering as her face adopted a goofy expression.

Sonata pulled back with Dian quickly looking away. "I know that must have been awkward. But I really needed that."

"No, it's cool, totally understandable." She said before wrapping her arms around Sonata's left arm. "Most people don't get that just because we're goths it doesn't mean we can't be all touchy feely. If you need a hug I'm right here for you." She said resting her head on Sonata's shoulder.

That got a small smile from Sonata. "Thanks, now come on, I wanna show this school the new me."

"Now you're talking." Dian said as she walked off with Sonata.

Outside the school Sparky was having trouble finding his words. "Wow…" he said sitting across from Aria who had an awkward look on her face. "So...in your world your half horse and half fish?"

"Yeah." she replied.

"And your entire species is female?"

"Uh huh."

"And in order to have kids you capture sailors, drag them underwater, and...rape them."

"We prefer 'have our way'. It sounds less...sinister, but I swear I have NEVER done that before." she held her hands up with a blush. "I've never even gone THAT far. The thought of having multiple children at once is kind of a mood killer for me."

"Multiple!?"

"Well we ARE half fish. What? Did you think our moms just had us?"

"How many we talkin' here?" Sparky asked looking uneasy.

"Oh you know, a few." Aria said looking away.

"You mean a small few or a lot few?" Sparky asked. "Can you give me an estimate?"

Aria simply bit her lower lip.

"Aria, how many."

"...thirteen."

His eyes widened and shook his head. "Dang that's a huge bunch!"

"Yeah, now you see why I didn't want kids."

"Didn't?" Sparky asked. "Past tense?"

"Uh, I mean don't! I meant to say don't." she said playing with one of her pigtails.

"Nah man, I know you said didn't. You were plannin' to be a mama, weren't ya?"

"Well not any time soon, but… you remember my baby god-brother?"

"Course I do, cute little guy. I still got the selfie you sent me."

"Well, I guess you could say the idea came in my head after spending time with him. Like ...maybe the idea of having my own kids and being a mom would be nice. I mean, just taking care of him made me feel all...all…"

"Warm and fuzzy?" Sparky said with a smirk.

"Yeah, or something like that." she said wishing he had chosen something less girly to say. "And I guess the idea stuck. My own mom wasn't exactly the best, or good, or anything close. Heck she left me and my sisters right after were born, so...I thought about being the kind of mom who is there for kids."

"Okay, now that part near the end makes a lot more sense." He remarked.

"So yeah, now you know something I haven't even told my sister Sonata or Adagio. But I'm not stupid enough to become a teen mom."

"Wait, aren't you and Adagio related?"

"Let's just say with how she's been acting, I see Sonata as more of my sister than her. Although technically none of us are related by blood."

"For real?"

"Despite how many of us our spawned from a single siren, when we're young we have a low survival rate." she admitted looking down with a grim expression.

Sparky noticed this and decided to change the subject. "Uh, so...if your from another world how did you get here?"

"Banishment from an old pony unicorn and his friends. Although I guess we did kinda deserve it. You saw how me, Adagio, and Sonata use to work from that movie."

"Big time. But hey everyone goes through a punk phase once in their life."

"For me it's pretty much all my life." she remarked with a deep sigh. "Honestly I forget it's even there. All I get is flashes of a time when I was more... competitive."

"Competitive eh?"

"I even forgot how strong I really am."

"How do you forget somethin' like that?"

"It's hard to put into words, but I think I've been mentally capping my full strength." The purple girl said.

"Mentally what now?"

"Put simply, my mind made me think I'm weaker than I really am."

"Is that a thing?"

"You're talking to a girl who's been the same age for a thousand years." she deadpanned with a raised eyebrow. "Compared to that, this is probably something only people like me experience. Back in the day I fought any sea creature dumb enough to pick a fight. From territorial puffer fish to swordfish and I whooped em all. Of course I wasn't stupid enough to pick a fight with, ugh sharks. But after awhile...it got dull I started using only a fraction of my full strength. Then after I became an immortal with a ton of magic, brute strength didn't seem to matter as much in comparison."

"Fair point." The blond boy nodded. "But after all those years you had to have gotten weaker, right?"

"No actually, being an immortal made my body stayed exactly the same. I didn't need to eat, sleep, or drink unless I wanted to." Aria explained.

"For real?!" Sparky blurted out. "That sounds dope as heck!"

"Yeah, not as cool as you think." Aria stated resting her arms on the table and sighed. "Wow, feels good to get all this off my chest."

"You never told all this much to anyone?"

"Heh, who would I tell?" She remarked. "It's not like I can walk up to someone and say 'hey I'm a magical creature from another world, wanna hear my life story?'."

"You'd be surprised how many wackos would believe that." Sparky chuckled.

"To be honest... I hate having to come up with all these lies to keep people from learning the truth. I guess that's the real reason I teamed up with Adagio, she could make any story believable."

"Want a hug?" he asked.

"...yeah, I would." she said as he got up from his seat and moved to the other side of the table and sat down. He wrapped an arm around her waist and held her close. She laid her head against his and let out a deep breath she had been holding.

"You know, I hate lies too." He whispered. "My old man said he was going to the store and never came back."

"I'm sorry to hear."

"All I have left of him now is ...this." Sparky said holding the ring. "The ring he gave my mom, who then gave it to me."

"Oh... yeah…then you gave it to me and…" she looked down while feeling like scum.

"Hey, it's okay." He said before taking her hand and slid the ring back on her finger. "No harm done."

"You sure about that? Knowing what I am, what I've done."

"If loving you is wrong, I don't ever wanna be right." He said putting a hand to her cheek.

Aria felt her cheeks turn bright red hearing that. "That's….super corny." She slightly chuckled.

"Hey, I deserve to be a little corny every now and again."

"Still it was also sweet." she smiled before leaning up and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks Sparky."

"No prob Ria." He said letting her go. "Buuuut you're still gonna get it for making those girls chase me."

"Oh yeah? And what are you gonna do?" she asked before Sparky gave a dark grin and held up his hand while wiggling his fingers. "Wait, what are you…" she didn't get a chance to finish before he started to tickle her. She let out a shriek and jumped from her seat with a start. "Hey!"

"Gonna getcha Ria!" He said before he started chasing her.

"Ah! No! Get away!" she yelped before she took off running.

Adagio was tapping her foot while she, Rosa, and Discord were looking over the monitors..

"I'm sorry Rosa, but I don't think I can find anyone popular enough who'd be willing to run against Chrysalis." Discord said typing on his keyboard.

"Well if we're going to dethrone Chrysalis then we have to." Rosa said looking at the monitors. "We need someone who people will look up to."

"Maybe not." Adagio cut in rubbing her chin.

"Do you have something in mind?"

"We don't need the entire school to vote for our candidate. We just need a larger number then Chrysalis." stated adagio. "What if we found someone low on the social ladder. Someone that most students could relate to?"

"Like who?"

"Well you tell me. Who here could we use that others don't exactly see as much of a leader? If we could build that person up into a confident leader it might inspire others."

Rosa and Discord looked at each other before Discord smiled and started snickering.

"Oh I think I know just the person."

"Oh? Who is it?" Adagio asked with her interests piqued.

"Discord, please tell me you're not thinking about ...him."

"Come on Rosa we both know he's the only one who could possibly do this." Discord argued. "I know just who we can use Adagio. A straight A student, hasn't missed a single day, mostly keeps to himself."

"Sounds just what we need right now."

"Rosa can show you exactly where to find him."

"Ugh, ok fine. Follow me." Rosa said as she walked to the door slouching while Adagio followed her out.

"So is this guy a friend of yours?"asked Adagio.

"No, not exactly." Rosa replied. "Put simply it's easier to list the students Chrysalis hasn't blackmailed yet. I doubt she knows he even exists."

"That'll work better for us. It means she won't see him coming." Adagio grinned.

"I really wish there was someone else we could enlist. I mean he's a nice guy, I don't want him getting hurt, or worse."

"Don't worry, with me pulling his strings nothing will happen to him."

"Well, alright." Rosa relented as they came to the science room door. "In here, this is where he hides during free periods."

Adagio walked to the door before pushing it open and peeked inside. "Hello?" she looked around but saw no one. "I thought you said he'd be here?"

"Not here." Rosa said stepping into the room and walked over to the closet. "In here."

"A closet?"

"Like I said, he keeps to himself." Rosa said reaching for the door and knocked. "Hey? You in here? I got someone who wants to meet you."

"Rosa?" came a male voice from the other side.

"Don't worry, it's safe to come out." Rosa said.

"Are you sure?" the boy asked.

"Positive."

"...ok." the boy said before the door slowly opened.

"Adagio, say hello to Thorax." Rosa said gesturing to a boy with light lime green skin, orange hair, and moderate rose eyes.

"H-H-Hello…" he waved nervously.

Adagio looked him over before her lips curled into a smile. "You're perfect."

Thorax felt a chill go up his spine and gulped.
